I only start work with Adobe Forms so I need your help .
My form includes   table with lot of data .
My problems are:
1.only the first page with data is displayed and I don't see the rest of data .
       What I need to define for get all my data printed ?
2. How can I print total at end of table ?

select the subform where your table body present , there you choose the pallete object inside you need to set.

I have an issue with the table displaying all the node values in the Adove Form. Right now it displays only the first element of the Node even if there are multiple entries.
Not sure what is going wrong here.

I referred to the website, but still having issues with generating tables in Adobe Form. I can get all the table rows in the adove form, but the pdf doee not add new pages to display all the table rows. It just createa one page with the table inside it, display few of the rows and truncates rest of the table data.
Here is the heirarchy of the page with the properties set
Master Pages ---
        ||--> Page 1
                 ||--> content area
                 ||--> subfrom (properties:: Content - Flowed / Flow direction - top to bottom...pagination tab is greayed out completly)
                            ||--> Table
                                      ||--> HeaderRows (Object: Row - Type: Header Row)
                                      ||--> Row1 (Object Tab/Binding: Repeat Row for each data item - checked)
Can't make it wor, not sure what's wrong here
I am using NDS 7.0 SP18 and Adobe LiveCycle 8.0. Does that could be a problem.

Problem with translation of Adobe forms

Right now I am working with Adobe forms.
While Translating the forms from English into Spansih I am encountering a problem.
Even though it is Translated into spanish, if I login in spanish (ES) and see the Text is stil in English.
the text is in 'TEXT' field.

When translating your form MAKE SURE YOU LOGIN TO SAP WITH THE TARGET LANAGUAGE FOR TRANSLATION!
For example, if you have an english form and want to translate it to spanish, login in spanish, go to SFP and do your translation to spanish. It should have a pop-up shown that says "original language" is English....keep it as that.
Not sure why it works this way, but it does. I would love to be able to login in English and then simply do all my other translations from there, but it doesn't work that way.

How to upload an image on Adobe form and add some condition for image display?

you need to use Image field, not only and image to display the picture chosen in backend. For a simple image you need only image field. Check there is a checkbox "embed image data" and set it to true.
You need to pass the picture as a XSTRING from backend if I remember it well. Please check How to integrate Adobe form

Sorting of data in adobe forms

Hi,
We have an adobe form designed which picks the data from the backend. In one specific case, a table comprising of different headers with different data, including date is being called.
My pdf simply displays the data, the way it is stored in the backend. But now I want to display the data, sorting by its date mentioned. Is it possible for the pdf to read the content of the data and display it based on the sorting defined on the layout end?
I did come across the 'controls' option for the table(under context) and tried adding the field name for sorting based on ascending/descending. But unfortunately, whenever I tried to enter the field name as 'date', it gives me an error saying "component does not exist". I have tried for other fields too, but the same message. This message comes irrespective of the check box for 'already sorted' property.
What could be the reason for this?
In the code initialisation of the interface, I heard that there can be a sort mechanism being coded. Is this alternative possible in my case?

You´d better sort the table in the backend (data does not change in the form, as you said, you can do that). If that is your program which prepares the data, change it, if that is a standard, find an exit or repair it or you can do that in the interface. Problems with filling out PDF forms

We have problems with filling out PDF-forms. Aotomatic filling of forms is deactivated and we use the Adobe Reader 11.0.05. The problem is: After some time the inputs are wrong put down in the form. For example: I write 120 and in the form stands 125. We have already extinguished the cache. Thanks for your help in advance.

You will get that first message when the document has been changed in a way that invalidates the internal digital signature that's applied when a document is Reader-enabled. Certain changes are allowed (e.g., filling fields, commenting, signing) and will not invalidate the signature, but others are not. The exact cause of the change is often hard to track down, but it can be due to font problems, some type of file corruption, or something that Acrobat/Reader attempts to correct when the file is opened/saved. You will also get the message if the users system time is not correct and is currently set to some time before the document was Reader-enabled. It seems best to use the most recent version of Acrobat to enabled the documents and recent versions of Reader to work with them.
It problem is probably not related to the user using anything in the Sign pane.

Hi I have inserted 1 decimal field in my adobe form and display pattern of that field I have given as $(zzz,zzz,zzz,zz9.99).
but when i deploy my application and see in the portal, $ sign is not getting displayed properly, its not able to get interpreted properly.

URGENT ! JDEV 10.1.2 Problem with data control generated from session bean

I got a problem with data control generated from session bean which return a collection of data transfer object.
The dto's seem to be correct. The session bean load correctly the data into and the object's are plenty of data. Using the console to display the dto content is ok.
When generating a data control from this session bean and associate the dto included in the collection only the first object level and one-to-one dto object are correctly setted in the data control. Object that represent collection into the dto (one-to-many foreign key) are setted as collection with an iterator but the structure of the object is not setted. I don't know how to associate this second level of collection with the dto bean class to obtain the attributes definition.
I created a case with hr schema like the hrApp demo application in the tutorial with departments and employees table. I got the same problem.
Is it a bug ?
It exists a workaround to force the data control to understand the collection data structure ?
Help is welcome ! this is urgent !!!

we found the problem by assigning the child dto bean class to the node representing the iterator in the xml file corresponding to the master dto.

what are the ways to get the custom field data into adobe forms. I want to use in WD application.I made the zpdf form with standard and added some custom fields in that. But how to get the data from table .

->For getting data from table into Adobe Forms, you need to add code in your WD application only.
-> You create an UI Element (Interactive Form) for the adobe forms in the Layout.
-> Give the name of your form (Zpdf) in the Template Source property.
-> A pop up will appear asking you to make contexts in your application by its own.
-> Click on Ok and then context will also appear in your Wd application.
-> Now you can use the context and write the code for getting values in Wddoinit or anywhere you want.
-> Write select/query or call a FM to fetch the data into an internal table.
->Finally bind the internal table with the Contexts created.

M…oSoft products aren't allowed on my machines but I use LibreOffice which is a clone of Office.
When I export from Numbers to Excel and open the result with LibreOffice, the dates are correctly treated.
To be precise, dates after 01/01/1904 are correctly treated. dates before 01/01/1904 are exported as strings but, as it's flagged during the export process, it's not surprising.

Problem with date format when ask prompt web-intelligence

Bo XIR2 with 5 SP. Instaled on Windows 2003 with support Russian.
Inside BO every labels, buttons - use russian. But when invoke web-report and Prompt appear there is problem with date format.
Looks like korean format of date 'jj.nn.aaa H:mm:ss'. I see system settings of date in Win .. everything right
What i have to do?
Where i can change format date for bo?

Regarding the soln y provided me earler with the thread "Problem with date format"...
What is happening is....I am able to change the 2400 to 0000 but when it is changed from 2400 on jan 1st to 0000 the hour is changing but not the date....the date still remains as jan 1st instead of jan 2nd....
Eg: Jan 1st 2400 -- changed to -- jan1st 0000
instead of jan 2nd 0000
Could you please help me in this issue...
