Problem with Decision step execution

Hi Friends,
I have a problem with executing a decision step. When I execute the decision using SAP_WAPI_DECISION_COMPLETE the workitem goes to completed state and doesn't do anything after that. But when I execute the same step from SBWP the subsequent steps gets executed and rest all works fine. I am sure there is a problem with Decision step . The task I am using is TS00008267. Is there a replacement for this step or is there something to do with feature ADVANCE WITH DIALOG or agents .I have agents in place. Please help.

when I write the decision using FM , the WI is set to completed but
I am not sending any status to workflow container from the task container
. Is this the issue for workflow not able to continue !
There is no necessity of sending any result back to the workitem container. In the decision step container , it contains a standard container element WIResult it will populated based, on the decision you took on the workitem (IF it is a Decisionworkitem).
when I execute the FM to write the decision, the task ( generic decision task)
is not getting executed.
Can you pelase let us know what is the return code, th function module is retruning back, once you try to execute the workitem by using the FM, if it is other than zero then can you please let us know what is the message.
, Before trying to execute the workitem can you please check whether the workitem is stored in the standard workitem header table SWWWIHEAD. as the above function module will validate the workitem from the header table.....

Problems with 1-Step RoboPDF

I am using RoboHelp X5. It seems I can't get RoboPDF to
start. Neither can I uninstall it to reinstall it. I want to be
able to directly generate PDF without going through Word first.
I have the RoboHelp 6 upgrade, but I wanted to finish my
current project before attempting the upgrade. Makes sense, right?
But I heard generating PDF is much easier in 6 than in X5. Is this
true? How difficult is the upgrade?

While RoboHelp functions just fine, RoboPDF has never functioned.

pointed to an empty folder. I searched for the exe file, found it,

PC issue.--Problem with index step.

Today our two chains are failed at loading ..
source is R/3 & update mode is delta.
Iam corrected the error and loaded the delta again useing repeat option,in cube request showing repeat of last delta.In monitor screen overall status is green but Total status showing is RED.But in cube it is showing green.loaded fine
For one chain when iam click on repeat on loading step ,it is loaded data fine into cube ,but unfortunately deleting index turned into yellow looking like execuating .This index step avalible on top of the loading step. before index step executed fine, load step is failed.when iam clck on repeat it is went to executing index step. I donot no why..but it is still showing yellow...
Now my question is, weather chains run tommrow with out any problem with deltas..? because chain still showing red colour.

I will explain clearly we have one PC haveing say 5 steps.1 2 3 4 5.
Third step is Deleting Index and Fourth step is Loading into cube.
Today our chain is failed at fourth step.Iam corrected the error and clicked on the repeat ..loading into cube done fine
But strangely in went to Third step to execute. that is still in yellow colour .But total chain status is showing red.
And also in batch monitor job was finished successfully.But in chain index step showing still yellow..
I think now iam clear for you...

Terminating Event with Decision Step

Hi,
In our purchase requisition approval workflow, I need to have a decision step in which to prompt approver to either approve the req. or reject the requisition. In this decision step, I need for it to have terminating events for "SIGNIFICANTLYCHANGED", "RELEASE", "REJECT" and "RESET".
First, I copy the generic decision task 8267 to my my own custom decision task. Then I added a BUS2009 in the container, releasecode and other needed elements. In this custom decision task, I was able to add these terminating events that has been defined in the BUS2009. I was able to setup binding, except the one binding
Terminating Event ->   Task
&_EVT_OBJECT&      ->   &_WI_OBJECT_ID&
Since the &_EVT_OBJECT& for the terminating event is BUS2009. And the custom decision task &_WI_OBJECT_ID& is DECISION business object. They're incompatable business object. So I replaced that binding with
Terminating Event     -> Task
&_EVT_OBJECT&    ->   &PURCHASE_REQ&
After all the configuration has been setup. I created a new purchase requisition. Upon the RELEASESTEPCREATED event, it create a custom decision workitem in my agent's inbox. When I triggered the "RELEASE" event, it is however not terminating my custom decision workitem. The workitem still sits in the agent's inbox waiting to be execute.
Is it possible to setup terminating events for decision step? Any kind of suggestions or inputs would be greatly appreciated.

I will suggest you to create a fork with 2 parallel branch and 1 necessary branch. Put the approval step in 1 branch and the wait for Release step event in another branch in this way you can suffice your requirment.

Probelm with decision step type

Hi,
I am using the decision step type to display release and reject the options to the approver . i am using the latest end tab to escalate( forward) the workitem to next available approver .( deadline monitoring 30 min) .
workitem is generating in the 2nd available approver inbox after 30 min . but the same workitem is still available in the 1st approver inbox ( of course it display the message the following deadline was missed and latest end reached) .
But even after the 2nd approver gets the workitem in his inbox ,the 1st approver is able to execute the same workitem by ignoring the message .
Please can any one explain me what is reason behind this.
Please can any one helping me how can i delete the workitem in the 1st approver inbox once the workitem is created in the 2nd approver inbox .

Just follow the steps
1)You can use Latest End Tab in a Step which is attached to a task. Use Modelled deadline. Using this another branch is created from the step.
2)Activate the Outcome Processing obsolete for the Step that needs to be sent to the Manager.
3) Now put a process control in the branch that has been created due to modelled deadline. Use "Set Workitem to Obsolete" in the Function and provide the Step number in which the deadline step is incorporated.
4) Now create another step at the branch Processing obsolete of the step that has the deadline and copy the above step with deadline removing the deadline part. This step is only for 2nd approver.

Problems with Initial steps for Mapping with Java in XI 3.0

Hi,
I am having problems with a simple java mapping in XI 3.0. I have created another test class in my PC to test it ,and it works.
But when I use it in a example mapping it does not work.
I think the reason is because It cannot find the classes used in the XI server.
What do I have to do to make it work ?
Do I need to add / change / view something in the XI server?

User decision step execution from UWL

     I copied the standard user decision step and added my own text in that task. My requirement is i have to execute that step from UWL . i need to configure this task in SWFVISU, so that it will appear in UWL. My question is what are the parameters i need to maintain in swfvisu TXn . because this is not a webdynpro application or Bsp Application.

Problem with mail step

Hi,
I am using a User decision step and if the user rejects, then a popup will come and the user will enter the rejection reason and it needs to go the manager.
I am using a custom task and calling the FM TXW_TEXT_NOTE_EDIT and the values are passing from the step to workflow container (ZTEXT_NOTE) and when i use the container element (ZTEXT_NOTE) in a mail, I am not able to see the reason that entered by the user.
P.S. In SWI1, it shows that Workflow container (ZTEXT_NOTE) contains the reason and when i pass to mail step (that has a mulitiline container), I am not able to see the reason. Bindings are correct between workflow to mail step.
Please help in this regard.

HI V Kumar,
As far as i think you can not send the Note directly via email step.
Either you need to create seperate activity step in which call any function module that will send the Note as text to desired address. Or you can send it as attachment.

Problem with decision

Hello,
I have a huge problem with my iPhone 5. After drop a loudspeaker(on the top) doesn't work, so I'm unable to talk with people. Also my front glass is broken, but it's not such a big problem. The question is should I try to sell iP5 and buy iP 5s or pay for service and make my dreams come true and buy a MacBook Air?
In the moment I don't have a laptop, because I don't really need it. iPhone 5 has everything.

Problem with the package execution

I am getting the problem while executin the package for 1 of the interface named PRE_SYNC_EX_ARMY_VEH_DEL.
I am looking in the operator as at the first session task is in the process(running mode) with "DROP FLOW TABLE" as the message while all other sessions tasks are in the waiting mode related to that interface named PRE_SYNC_EX_ARMY_VEH_DEL.
But when i see to description of last session task (ie Drop flow table) of the previous interface ie PRE_SYNC_AXLE_DELNR ,it is like *"Flow table is still locked in open transaction=>Drop flow table skipped"*
The source tables are EX_ARMY_VEH_TMP and CONTROL_DEL & target table is CONTROL_DEL
All the three tables are in the same schema named RTO_STAGE.

Not sure what error message, is the one "est introuvable.

So, here is in short: the ForEach Loop once in its beginning of operation "senses" the files currently present in the working folder. If a new file arrives after this stage, it will not see it.
In your case it seems that the ForEach "saw" a file at the beginning, but it was gone at the time the processing wanted it for execution.
Like many above indicated, the common practice, call
it elegant or not is to indeed move the files to a different directory (working folder). This is done to avoid collisions with some other activity in that folder.
Furthermore, you can have all the files deleted using a ForEach against the working folder as say in

itself.
The job is run in SQL Server's Agent

WMS Problem with 2 step picking

Hello Expert,
In WMS I activate the 2 step picking. I have created a group of delivery and make a trasfer order with the total quantity of the deliveries. I create the trasfer order on 2 picking phase and I trasfer the material on storage type 200 with movement type 850. I confirm the trasfer order and I see the stock on storage type 200. The problem is that i cannot create the individual trasfer order related each single delivery. I tried with VL37 wave pick monitor but I get no output from the program. Any idea on where is my mistake?

Sorry I can not answer your question since I met problem when creating TO for the group. Can you tell me which t-code you used to create group? I created the group via VL06P, from the menu - subsequent function - group and then create.(group type K). After that I go to LT0E for the first picking. But when I enter the group number, system notice me the group number is not exist in table T311. Do you know why?

Problem with Switch Step in BPM

I am using Switch Step in BPM, to check a condition. I created following condition (App_Resp./p1:App_Resp_MT/Response = true). The mentioned is correct and it should succeed but it is failing. Its going thru OTHERWISE branch. Can anybody help me to solve this out?

I checked in the workflow the xml file generated contains value 'true'.
Its not multiline and looks xpath reflects for the changes made.
I think it may be problem that needs to deploy any OSS notes.

Problem with decision making

Hi All,
I have a customized subview which provides me the required tasks and for the same I have added two more columns for Approval and Rejection which are basically checkboxes.
I have a Submit button as well. Based on the selection of the check boxes I have to perform some action on click of the submit button.
Currently I am getting an error "This action is not valid for this item".And thus I am not able to achieve the requirement of decision making.
I request you all to share your experience so that I can proceed.

If I understand it correctly, the user will either perform the Accept action, or the Reject action.
So why dont you use a radio button group, instead of checkboxes. the given error will not occur.
With checkboxes, you will have 4 altenatives, not two.
Another alternative is using two buttons, which is also used in the workflow scenario. But this option depends on how you have planned your event handling.

Problem with new step in acc seq

hi all,
i have created a new step in an existing zcc sqe. -
dev/customer (at the top of the seq) and std table 007 (no release status). the acc seq now is
acc no.     table     des
5     7     Division/Customer
10     952     Sales org./Plant/SalesDocTy
20     4     Material
after creating the condition records when i view the pricing anlysis screen in vf01 i find that the system has found the reords on hte new step but with a message in brackets saying 'removed manually'. its appearing for all conditions using the said sequence. wht is teh reason for this message. the message is not there wen for records of other steps (existing previously).
