I'm have not come across any of these problems with Delegated Administrator 7.
All I can suggest is to upgrade to DA7p1 (comes with comm-suite-7) and failing that log a Support request.

i can create domain and user with "commadmin" command, but can't create user with Delegated Administrator console.
When i checked the logs of the Web Server, found some errors:

Hi all,
I had delegated an object based on which I developed all m wfs. I had some problem with the delegation, i deleted and delegated it again, but none of my wfs works (there is a syntax error telling that one of the attribute component is not found),i understand that its a problem with the delegation. Is there a way out of this..
Regards,
Sathish.Hi,
the synax error is probably related to the bindings from the event to the workflow. If you delete an attribute or rename it, then you should also check that the binding are still correct.
Kind regards, Rob Dielemans -

ITunes 7 Privilege Problems with Non-Administrator Account
Hello,
I've installed iTunes 7 on WinXP using my account, which is in the Administrators group. However, when I attempt to launch it under another account (which is in the Power Users group, but is not an administrator), a window is displayed with the following message:
"Please wait while Windows configures iTunes".
This occurs every time I launch iTunes. Afterwards, I sometimes receive a message indicating this account doesn't have privileges necessary to start a service and the configuration step is undone. Other times, I receive the following:
"An error occurred while updating the default player for audio file types. You do not have enough access privileges for this operation."
I really don't want to give this account Administrator privileges. What are my options?
Thanks. Here are a couple of things to try:
1. Create a group called IpodUsers
2. Add restricted users you want to access itunes
3. goto: START>MY COMPUTER navigate to Program Files
4. Find the iTunes, Quicktime, and Apple Update folder.
5. Right click on on the folder and select Properties goto the Security Tab
6. Click add, Add in IpodUsers, in the lower pane place check mark in Full Control box. Repeat for the other 2 folders
That should allow your users to access the program
To allow the access to the same library look here:http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93195

OIM problem with weblogic administration server (configuring OIM)
Hi,
I have this software installed:
- Oracle database 11gR2 (schemas made with RCU)
- SOA Suite generic 11.1.1.2.0
- Repository Creation Utility
- Weblogic Server 1034
- JDK 1.6.0_24
- IAM_generic 11.1.1.1.3.0 (OIM)
when I'm configuring the oracle identity management 11.1.1.3.0 and I'm in the weblogic administration server screen I write in the fields:
url administration server : t3://localhost:7001
Username: weblogic
Password: ****** (correct)
when it tries to connect to weblogic I get an error that says:
INST-6180: It has not been possible to get the URL server managed by the OIM domain // (spanish translation of the error)
then if look at the weblogic standard output (and in the admin server log) I see the following error

Problems with the administration of users in BI 11G
HELLO EXPERTS
The problem presented is as follows, I am managing my BI users from weblogic, I have created groups and application roles, users, and roles were assigned roles and groups were assigned the income groups in each of the dash board that I have, but to create a new user and assign roles for which you have permission to pass I have to wait some time for the changes to take effect, I wonder if there is any more efficient way to manage users in the tool or else I'm doing wrong.
thank you very muchHELLO EXPERTS

I have a problem with Project Administrator Menu
I'm trying to cut some projects with Premiere CS4 for free disk space and, though I try, the new projects have the same size as the originals. I use the Create new project cut option and I use only the final assembly sequence with the video exclusively used for export. It means I should cut the original footage and leave them only the part that is used in assembly, something like Avid makes with the option Consolidate deleting original media files, but nothing, my Premiere CS4 leaves the complete original footage, although the final sequence uses only a quarter of them.
Any solution?
Greetings and I'm sorry, mi english is too bad.
Esteban GómezHi Esteban,
Your English is just fine.
If your source footage is GOP-based, like MPEG2, MPEG4, H.264, DivX, etc., then Pr will not trim the original clips. Does this apply to you?

Delegated Administrator 6.3-2.02
Directory Server 5.2
I'm having a situation with the DA, when I try to a search, by name, a group of user with this pattern, karla* any user is displayed. I looked at the directory server access log and I see that a search is performed an return 4 entries but no one is listed within the DA interface.
I did an ldapsearch with cn=karla* and I found the 4 entries. I also did a search by uid within the DA an just 3 of the users were listed. The user (karla.guerrero) that is not appearing can be listed using ldapsearch, but cant be listed using commadmin.
The user is not deleted i did check the mailsuerstatus and inetmailuserstatus an seen. Heres is part of the DA log file, when I did the search by name using the pattern karla*

Problem deleting users with delegated admin
Hello,
I seem to be having a problem deleting users with delegated administrator. I am using JES 2005Q4.
Here is what I do:
I set Inetuserstatus and mailuserstatus to deleted. Then run msuserpurge to delete the mail box. This seems to be working fine. Then I do a commadmin domain purge and it will actually delete the persons ldap record, but it does not delete the o=pab records or the o=PIserverDB records.
I am probably missing a step here, and would apprecidate it somebody could point me in the right direction.
Thanks,

Someone created a domain and then deleted it. The domain purge did not work so I deleted the entries with the ldapdelete command on the directory server. The problem now is that when I try to create the domain again on the Delegated Administrator I still get the following error:
Status: CreateDomain
Failed:
This container is already in use.
When I run the ldapsearch I do not find this domain. What could be the problem??
I'm using this messaging server version:
iPlanet Messaging Server 5.2 Patch 1 (built Aug 19 2002)
libimta.so 5.2 Patch 1 (built 23:25:07, Aug 19 2002)
SunOS mail 5.9 Generic_112233-05 sun4u sparc SUNW,UltraAX-i2
with delegated administrator version .1.2First, you NEED to upgrade to at least patch 2. Your code is years old.
You should also upgrade your DA, as 1.2p2 has long been available.
There must be something left of your domain entry, or DA wouldn't be choking on it. Examine your Access Log for when you try to add it, and see what search came back with results. Duplicate that search on the command line, and see what that data is. -
When I tried to update my dad's iphone 5 to iOS 7 on a windows 7 standard account an unknown error was encountered and he lost everything! It also doesn't recognise my mum's iphone 4s (already updated to iOS 7), it gets an error, but her phone works fine on my administrator account. Do non-administrator restrictions cause problems? Any support would be really valued. Thanks.
I think there is a problem. I dont get the noises on each song even though that happened to me on a previous update but rather than being a sporadic click it was a very loud hiss over every single track...
The latest problem with my copy is that the songs are only playing out of one speaker and its not even the centre speakers, its the left speaker.
The last time itunes didnt work properly it took apple around a week or so to correct so im not worried at the moment but i have to use windows media player in the mean time which I dont like to use.

Problem with administrative share
Hello!
We have headache-giving problem with Administrative Share in our company.
Network looks like this:
1) Server VLAN - x.x.10.1
2) User VLAN - x.x.11.1
3) Domain Admins VLAN - x.x.12.1
Now for that situation.
When we trying to access Administrative share (C$) from Admin VLAN to User VLAN, it's all fine
From Admin VLAN to Server VLAN - all fine
From Server VLAN to User VLAN - problem
What we found
Our network guy ensured us, that all three VLAN's are wide open to each other
We can't access share on variety of OS - WIndows XP, Windows 7 32/64
Windows share is turned on using Group Policy
File sharing is allowed in Windows firewall
On server we are logged via RDP with Domain Admin accout, which is in local Administrators group on every station on user VLAN
Share service is running
Any ideas?
MTHi,
Is there any error message when you try to access Administrative share (C$) From Server VLAN to User VLAN and can you access other administrative share (F$, G$, H$, etc.)? Can you access Administrative share (C$) From Server VLAN to Admin VLAN?
