Problem with delta load urgent!!

Hi,
I have a problem with delta load
We have an IP, which loads data from R/3 system daily, its a delta load to the ODS and it updates to the cube with the selection on Company Codes and 0FISCPER
we are in 3.5 system
For a couple of company codes A & B, the init was done for the period 07.2010 to 12.2099 and after tht the deltas are loaded from 07.2010 till 12.2099 and there's no pblm with tht
Now, there was some updation in R/3 system and the data was maintained for the company codes in A& B for the FISCPER 001.2010 to 006.2010, for which init wasnt maintained...
now how shall we need to load the init in this case? dnt ask me how the postings was done in R/3, but my pblm is purely related to the loading data in BW from R/3, as its very imp for the customer to see the data from 01.2010 to 12.2010 in reports, but the data was only available in reports from 07.2010 onwards
do i need to create another IP and maintain the init for 01.2010 to 06.2010? so tht this selection will automatically appear in the ODS delta loading infopackage

Hi Prince,
No need to maintain any Init for this data, It will be enough if you can load the data from jan 2010 to jun 2010 into your Info Cube.
Follow the below steps:
1)create full load IP for this data source.
2) give the selection as A and B company codes and 0FISCPER as 001.2010 to 006.2010
3) in menu bar, click on scheduler --> select full repair request
4) In the next screen check the check box and save
5) Now execute the IP, it will the data with out disturbing your daily delta.
follow the same procedure to load data till to your Info Cube.

Issue with delta load from R/3 to BW

Hi frnds,
There is a standarded D.S 2LIS_05_ITEM in R/3. Evereday We extraceted data from R/3 to BW based on this standard Data Source with delta load.There are two fields ZX and ZY in BW ,some times the data haven't extracted for this 2 fields in BW with the delta update.But some times this 2 fields properly extracted in to BW with the same delta update.
Why is it happen like this ? Please give some inputs on this.

if its a standard field then its getting populated in correct way.
if its custom field then you need to analyze the records for which its getting populated and for one which its not.
Quite possible that some cutomization in CMOD results in this behaviour.
Also,check underlying tables to see the correct values.

Problems with Safari Loading Sites and Photos

For the past week (Feb. 2015) I've experience problems with Safari loading websites on my 2009 20" iMac desktop. Running version OSX Lion 10.7.3 4 GB. Intel Duo Core 2.66 GHz
Mac also will frequently not upload photos at websites like Yahoo News or Facebook. It does this throughout the day.
So, I downloaded Chrome, thinking it would be a better browser if Safari is not functioning. Chrome is just slightly better, and when it won't load a website I get the following error message from Chrome: DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NO_INTERNET.
I'm debating taking the Mac to the Apple store for diagnosis or repair today, but if anyone else is experiencing similar problems, could you please offer some solutions as to what is going on.

Problems with the load of Deliveries

Hi experts,
I am having some problems with the load of Deliveries from R/3 into BW.
In LIPS table of R/3, there are 41412 records. I delete the setup tables and realize the extraction with the transaction OLI8BW. After that I launch a simulation with RSA3 but only 6765 records are taken into account.
Apart of that, there is a range of deliveries documents (between 180000000 and 1084000000) that is not be taken into account.
Has someone have similar problems with the load of deliveries?

you can try comparing those missing records with those already extracted. I found in my side that some records with document category of "H"(Returns) don't be extracted by 2lis_12_vcitm.

Problems with pages loading

We are having a lot of problems with pages loading slowly or not at all. We get this message all the time...server not found...even on pages that have just recently been visited. We have this problem with Safari, Firefox, and Camino. I don't have Internet Explorer installed, but why should I just keep adding new browsers. My ISP assures me that the connection is fine. I have emptied caches, cookies, whatever I can find to empty. Did I empty too much? We use a Netgear router and a company called Digitron. Any suggestions?

Perhaps the easiest way to sort this out is to set up a separate Network Location for your connection:
-Location - set up a personal location by clicking on the drop down menu and selecting "add a location". Use a name familiar to you. Once established, select "apply".
-Next, click on the "Show" drop down menu and select Network Port Configurations. Only Airport ought to be checked. Move it to the top of the list (you can drag it). Select "apply".
-Back to the "Show" menu, select "Airport". Click on the TCP panel. There, enter 4.2.2.2 and 4.2.2.1 (separate lines) in the DNS servers box and select "apply". Also, you can always call your Internet Provider to find out if they have specific codes.
Creating a personal location, plus adding the DNS codes seems to speed things up. Otherwise, the "automatic" function has a tendency to "search" for available locations, hence creating the lag you are seeing.
Lastly, in the Finder, go to your Applications>Utilities folder and select "Terminal". Once the screen is open copy/paste lookupd -flushcache and press return. This clears out the DNS cache. Once done, quit Terminal.
If the above doesn't help, I suspect the Router is the problem. Perhaps you need to upgrade its firmware. Check at the Netgear site>Support.

Problem in delta load with Z field

Hello Experts,
We have CRM 5.0 system and as per the requirement we have
added ZFIELD to BUT000 table. This field is added to BUT000 via EEWB – Easy
Enhancement Workbench. This field is also BW enabled.
BW enabled means – this field is used / available to BW
extractor for further analysis.
We update this ZFIELD with custom program – FM BUPA_CENTRAL_CI_CHANGE.
When full load is done – data flows to BW correctly, ZFIELD
values are reflecting correctly. But when we are doing delta load it is not
working.
If we use BP t-code delta works perfectly. So issue from BW
side is ruled out. The FM BUPA_CENTRAL_CI_CHANGE is not triggering the change
record for this BP. But then I don’t see any other FM / BAPI to use so that
change record is also created.
Could you please provide any pointers or any checks to
overcome this problem?

When you are changing the attributes(say ZFIELD) and save the transaction in BP, Is this updating the CHDAT(Change date) in BUT000?
If the change date is being applied, then Delta shouldnt be a problem - if you are using datasource 0BPARTNER_ATTR.
In order to check if the delta is being captured or not, you could use TCODE RSA7. Also, this brings the Doubt when you say Full load works while delta doesnt, try Re-initializing the datasource from BW after Datasource replication - because there have been some changes effective in Source system which the BW system/Delta queue might take into consideration.

Urgent: Problems in Delta load

Hi BW Gurus/Experts,
I am new to BW and My requirement is to load deltas from CRM to BW,I have initialized deltas and after some days(appx. around 3days) there was changes in the records so I have created infopackage and tried to load deltas but i cannot do that i donot know what might be the reason when i check in monitor the status of the request is yellow with 0 from 0 records eventhough there are records which i check in RSA7. I have seen some previous posts according to some gurus suggestion I have activated the transfer structure and replicated datasources and loaded deltas again but it didnot helped me.I even tried by init load without data transfer and than i have created another infopackage for delta load that too it didnot helped me. Would anyone please suggest me some of the steps and brief explaination on them I need to follow for the following queries:
1) If I need to load deltas after 4 to 5 days of Init load.
2) If I need to load deltas again after 5 to 6 days of deltas load.
When I load deltas after init or delta load after some days by init load without data transfer and loaded deltas than the status of the request is green in monitor but with 0 from 0 records. would anyone put some light on it. I appreciate it in advance.

Hi AK,
1) As mentioned that you have activiated the transfer structure and replicated data source..I guess it should be other way ..first you have replicate the datasource and activate the transfer structure but though TS gets activate by normal ..Its good if you activate TS through the program RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL ..give TS name and activate then try to load the data.
2) There are some possible reasons when IDOC get hangs such as missing free dialog process in the target system
a)IDOC hang in status 64 for tRFC with immediate( Check note:555229)
b)Request hang because IDOCS are not processed (Check note: 561880)
c)RFC resource check returns incorrect result (Check note:311930)
3)Check entries in delta queue (RSA7) see also note 380078.
4)Its also better to use Diagnosis tools delta queue monitor qRFC t.code :SMQ1 in source system see also note 444261.

Delta reocrds are not getting extracted . Problem with delta Quaue

Could you please help me in this scenario ?
Its related to delta load from application 12 , - 2LIS_12_VCITM.
Some how data is not getting transferred from LBWQ to RSA7 . There are more than 200000 entries in LBWQ , but the job is not able to transfer any entries to RSA7.
For rest other application , data is going correctly .
The job status showing is correct , like XXXXX LUW are transferred there is no error in Job log , it technically correct .
I have found one notes , in SAP service market place , but still it doesnt match with my job status . My job status is NOTESID ..where as per the notes it should WKEDPI*** ( something like this ) .
I have taken below steps to solve this problem but still it doesnt work .
1.     Removed job from schedule ( the job for LBWQ to RSA7 ) and Executed the job manually .
2.     Executed Program RMSBW12.
3.     Deleted the Delta Q from RSA for application 12 and regenerated the same once again by running the infopackage , early delta initialization with out data transfer , . Once Delta Q is generated , run the job once again .
I hope , I tried with all correct way ..but still I could not able to transfer the data .
But with all above steps , still data is not transferred . Daily infopackage is running as per the schedule , and bringing only 0 record . If it still doesnt work then I have to do Re-initilization . and this is big cost for us . as we have to lock the sys for users and so on .
Could you please give me some tips , that how can I transferr the data from LBWQ to delta Q ( RSA7) . If it works then definitely , I will save my lot of time .
Please suggest me , how can I proceed . Please save me from this situation.

Hi Akshay,
Go to SMQ1 and check MCEX12 Queue. If your delta records are piling up in SMQ1 and not being transfered to RSA7, you need to check your back gound job control option once again.
The back ground collector job will collect the recrords from SMQ1 and push to RSA7.
Try to execute RMBWV312 program in SE38 and manully push all the recrods to RSA7. Once all the records are available in RSA7 you will find the MCEX12 queue will be cleared in SMQ1.

Problem with XML loading and xmlns

I'm having a problem with loading an XML file that was created by Filemaker. Filemaker will output an XML file using one of two different grammars. One outputs in a mostly standard form that I can use with one glitch. Flash CS4 AS3 seems to have a problem with the xmlns in one of the nodes.
Specifically:

If I remove the xmlns="http://www.filemaker.com/fmpdsoresult" the file loads properly and I can access the various fields with no problem. However, when I leave the xmlns=... in, it will trace out the XML properly but I can't access the fields using the code listed below. This is driving me crazy!
With the xmlns part in the XML file I get the following error when it tries to load the thumbnail files:
TypeError: Error #1010: A term is undefined and has no properties.
I need to have it so that the user can enter/edit data and simply output the XML file from Filemaker and then Flash will load up the unaltered XML file and show the info requested by the user. That is to say I could have the user open the XML file in a word processing application and have them delete the xmlns..., but that is rather cumbersome and not very user friendly.
I've tried every xml.ignore function I could find but it doesn't help. Hopefully someone out there can help

Generic delta has problem with delts pointer time stamp

Hi All,
We have generic delta data source with Delte pointer as Time stamp. We have not used any safety limits. We are loading the data to DSO and using Additive delta. But the problem is when delta flag is set, there might be a case where some records still being inserted to table with lower time stamp. These records are not being fetched in next delta.
We are planning to keep a safety upper limit of 5 min so that those records can not be missed. But we have a doubt as it is a Additive delta duplicate records will be loaded. If we make the delta to 'new status to changed records', it is going to work?? Any other things we have to check when we make this changes??

If you had selected additive delta then you can load data to DSo with addition mode only. No overwrite possible.
If you want to select new or changed status then you can load to DSO with overwrite mode only.
Additive or changed delta depends on your requirement because if you want to add data to the DSO then you can go ahead with additive otherwise you have to use DSO with overwrite mode only.
You can either give safety upper limit or lower limit but if you give safety lower limit then you can only load data to DSO with overwrite mode because there could be some duplicate records.

Problems with logistic cockpit: URGENT!!

I have a few verifications with LO cockpit.
I have dobne the following steps.
1. Activated the datasource.
2. The update group shows active.
3. In maintenance I have selected the fields.
4. Deleted the setup tables.
Now my question is when I run the intial set up do I need to bring the system down so that no updates are taking place.The second question is when I do I set the update to be queued update . When does it get set for the delta loads.
We are writing a function module to put extra fields on the delivery table and would need to pull these fields in the standard extractor. Can I be guided as to how to accomplish this.
Please help me out as it is very urgent.

Master data is getting overwrite with delta load

Hi,
We have an issue like some some asset numbers are showing blank for wbs elemnts.So we did Full repair Request.So pblm is solved.But after daily delta loads it is getting over write and again asset numbers are blank..please let me know any suggestions?

Ok, so your problem in the source-system itself. Since the update mode for master data is overwrite, when these records with blank fields are loaded they will replace the existing values and you will have blank values in your master data.
Check whether the data is available in the tables in the Source-system. If you have made any enhancements to the DataSource using exits, check the code for the exit and try to find out if the data is being changed by the code.
If there are no enhancements, check whether the master data is being properly maintained in the source system.

Delta Mechanism CRM to BW - Problem with delta update

Delta update from CRM - BW 3.X is not pulling all the newly added records and records which were saved with error, warning in CRM to BW
Can any one suggest me an approch to fix this issue

I am also having a problem with datasource 0CRM_SALES_ACT_1 - when I do a full load, it works, but when I try to do a Delta load, it does not bring across any data. In transaction RSA7 on the CRM source system, the entry looks like this:
Green: Delta is recorded 0CRM_SALES_ACT_1 BWQCLNT320 0

Help with delta load

Hi Gurus!
I have a problem and I am not sure how to solve it.
Every month we receive a flat file with 2 months of accounting data. This data goes into a ODS. The next month we receive a new file and it contains the new month and the previous (again) but with some new values for the pervious month. My problem is that I don't want the full value to go from the ODS the second time but just the difference. Simplified example:
File 1 (period, amount):
200602     2000
200601     1000
File 2
200603     1500
200602 2200
I want the ODS to delta load to another ODS like this:
After first file:
200601 1000
200602     2000
After second file
200603     1500
200602      200
Do not sound like rocket science but I am not sure how to solve it best? Grateful for any suggestions!

I totaly agree on that I wont lose my 200601 data. I just wrote the records in the delta load (not the records in the ODS). Sorry if it was not to clear.
I now realize that I have to write some ABAP. I thought there was a way to solve it without that.
