Problem with design area in netbeans

out of no where am starting to have this problem.....my design area in netbeans is not visible....when i create a new JFrame , the code to the basic design area is
there, but when i switch to design view there is no design area. thus i can not drag any items there......am using netbeans 6.0.1 ...the problem occured out of no where , the ide used to work fine before....... i found the similar problem in this thread :

Problems with CC are REALLY getting old.

I spend a great deal of my day trying to get Adobe CC to work like it should. Right now I have a spinning beach ball on the Desktop app and the AAM never seems to work. It just sits there in the DOCK bouncing it's little self to death...
I CONSTANTLY have to change the OOBE file so I can RE-DOWNLOAD and RE-INSTALL. After I do that, about a day later I have to do it all over again. I can't tell you how many times I've run permissions repair and various other time consuming things trying to get this stuff to work. And by the way, were are a three bay editorial shop and all three bays have problems with ADOBE CC programs.
Come on guys. I use this software professionally and have NEVER had so many problems with a program. Yesterday AE, PP and Photoshop ALL said they were needing to be reinstalled! I spend at least half a day just trying to get this CC stuff to work.
Seriously it is flawed and not ready to be released to the professional community. We need these programs to work - day in, day out. We don't need to be contantly "Upgrading" "Re-installing" Re-downloading" and changing numerous files to "OLD" to get your stuff to work.
And the on-line staff in India is really a joke. I've not had them EVER solve a problem! The only solutions are from other users that have found work arounds. (Still have the spinning beach ball on the CC Desktop app....) How many other programs require you to constantly open Activity Monitor and KILL them there because they won't even Force Quit? I suspect ONLY ADOBE CC programs.
Please: GET IT FIXED!

I got it fixed by a round about way. Another user wrote a script that allows you to kill all the running programs and clean up so you can do the new install. You can do a google search for: Adobe CC Updater Fix 2.workflow

Problem with Stacked area chart

Hi all,
I'm working on delivery data according to month having input(combo) as the year. I'm trying to display the data in percentages in Stacked area chart having series as ontime delivery, 1 week late, 2 weeks late,........5 weeks late and category labels as months. The problem is when I take the Preview of data I get to see the data for ontime, 1 week , 2 week as it should be but when I hover the mouse over the 2 weeks data area mouse over values shows 5 weeks data(0 %) where as in reality the colored area belongs to 2 weeks data. I tried to delete 5 weeks series data and now it shows as 4 weeks data.
What could be the problem ?

Problem with depreciation area (Incorrect currency exchange rate is used)

Good day to all SDN forumers!
I'm having a problem with one depreciation area that we set up. The reason why we configured this depreciation area is for us to enable to monitor all asset postings in another (group) currency aside from the local currency. We set it up in such a way that the depreciation would not post and would thus only "convert" the asset postings to group currency using the table rates in table TCURR (via OB08).
The problem is despite having defined an exchange rate for the current period, the system still picks up the exchange rate for 01/01/2001 which is incorrect. This affected all reports which displays incorrect values whenever I view the postings using the 2nd depreciation area we set up. Is there a way we can correct this?
I'd really appreciate your comments and suggestions guys. Thanks a lot and more power!

Update:
I created a new depreciation area by copying an existing area and updated some of the configuration. The problem is still there though, since the depreciation area still reflects the incorrect rate (similar to that of the previous depreciation area) whenever I access it using Asset Explorer. What's surprising is that even though I've already set the exchange rate (e.g. USD to EUR) to match that of the asset's capitalization / acquisition date, the posted values still do not reflect what I defined in table TCURR. Instead, it reflects the exchange rate used by the old depreciation area. Help anyone? We are already in a production client and transfer/retirement of all the assets is not an option the client would like to undertake.

Problems with result area in workbooks after upgrade to BW 3.5

Hi,
we are experiencing some problems with our workbooks after the upgrade to BW 3.5. When refreshing all queries in a workbook (that was there before 3.5) without selecting a specific query we get the message 'Result area cannot be found, specify a new one'. After selecting, the message appears again in an infinite loop.
Has anybody had similar problems and has found a solution for this?

Hi,
I am having that message, always if I delete a Sheet which contains an embeded query.
Even the sheet is deleted, the SAPBEX has information of all the embeded queries, and tries to find the Result area to put the data.
To find out if this is your case as well,
select an empty cell in a Sheet and continue like that, until all the embeded queries are been displayed.

Problems with designer graphic

i have a problem with OWB designer grpahics, i've touched quickly a pannel and now all the pannel (locations, project, logs...) aren't in their place and it looks very messy, can i restore the designer to looks as it was.

Hello!, I have problems with option Capture Design
of.. Forms, because i lost some properties of the forms as relations and the way i show the items in Layout Editor from Forms. I have Forms 6.0.8.25.2 and Designer 6.5.95.4.8 installed.

On the menu bar of Design Editor of the Server Model Diagram, you need to click on Edit, Requery All. Otherwise, the Diagrammer will crash and exit.
This applies to all diagrammers in Designer 9i. If you have change a lot of objects in a diagrammer, you need to click on Edit, Requery All so that it will commit all changes to the Repository and free the Temporary Tables.

Problem with Tools Area iView Creation - Help Needed.

I am having a small problem with the Tool Area Par, I downloaded the Par and have edited it and then redeployed it on the Portal, however when I am creating an iView I am getting the Following error:
Portal Runtime Error

Problem with Business area

hello,
any body please help me.
previously i have configured with business area. every thing working fine. but my client decided to work with profit center. then i have made changes with profit center, means all assignment i deleted. I changed all assignments in OKB9 changed to profit center. i have deleted business area assignment with sales area and plant.
but when i am creating sales order it is asking business area. even i am doing stock posting with movement type 561 it is giving the same message. so please let me know where i am doing wrong.

Hi,
in the "global parameters" for your company code, uncheck "Business area fin. statements".
Also make sure the field status groups you use for your accounts don't specify business area as a required field

Closing the Design Console and re-launching produces similar errors. I must stop and restart the JBOSS server to get access again. My environment is Windows 2003 with JBOSS and an 11g database.
Any help on what to look for would be appreciated.

You are correct. If you pre-populate, it will be the requester. The requester would need to manually populate the field during the request with the requestee information. And there is only one form available. You can however, after submission of the request, get the request data, parse the Consolidated Request Data to determine the id's in the request field, and then return appropriate responses to trigger the tasks needed. This will still be a problem in the long run because you can't change the requestee information for each approval task. You're pretty much out of luck on this one.

Problem with Design View in DW5

I've recently inherited responsibility for my group's website (despite the fact that I'm kind of a noob at all this) and am dealing with an interesting challenge that I hope someone can help me with.
It seems that our pages are based on a number of templates that for some reason were not saved along with the rest of the site. Short term this is not a huge issue, as the pages have the source code from the templates embedded in them, but this code is not editable and I can't figure out a way to override the fact that I'm "locked out" from making any changes (at least from within Dreamweaver). Up to now I've just been editing the pages individually in Komodo, which is tedious but not horrible, given that our site isn't that big, but it's clearly no way to do business in the long term.
So I'm trying to re-engineer some templates that I can work with. What I did was use Komodo to strip away all of the template-related language from one of the site pages, and re-imported the code back into Dreamweaver, in the hope that I can then save that as a new template. I'm close, but not quite there. My problem is that DW's Design View isn't rendering the page properly, even though it displays fine in Live View and in browsers. Maybe this isn't a huge deal, but it's really bugging me because: 1) I do rely on Design View, since I'm not an experienced programmer; and 2) I'm kind of anal retentive.
To see what I'm talking about, here is the page I used as the foundation for creating a new template:

The second page displays correctly in Live View, Safari and Firefox, but not in DW's Design View, where it looks like this, at least on my computer:
As you can see, there's an odd "break" between the banner image and the menus on the left, and the body of the page, which should appear to the right of the menus on the left, is instead underneath them. I'm at a loss as to why the same code displays properly for the first page, but not the second.
I guess my questions are as follows:
1) Does anyone else get the same messed up display in DW's design view if they import the second page into DW?
2) And if so, can you pinpoint where the problem is?

Validate your code and fix errors. #1 problem is the lack of a valid Document Type Declaration (DTD) on line 1 of HTML code.

To add a DTD in DW:
Go to Modify > Page Properties > Title/Encoding.
Select document type from drop list. I recommend HTML 4.0 Transitional.
Hit Apply & OK.
Repeat Steps 1 - 3 on remaining site pages.
I'm not a huge fan of DW Templates (.dwt). I don't know how big your site is but it might be simpler to disconnect from Templates, giving you freedom to edit anything you wish. Then use Server-Side Includes (SSIs) for common site wide elements such as menus, headers & footers.
The great thing about SSIs is that you only need to edit one file, save it and upload to server. Site pages are automatically updated by the server. With Templates, you have to upload every child page each time you change your template. Even on small sites, this is tedious.

After installing BOXI in my own windowsxp professional system, when i logging on to Designer , the following error message appears:
"[repo_proxy 13] SessionFacade;;openSessionLogon with user info has failed(Internal error.(hr=#0x80042a01)"
the authentication is enterprise.

I had this happen a couple of times... the problem went away when I located a mistyped setDataItemName() or other DAC property value. Which sometimes happens if one is manually entering them cuz they are having the stuff generated in another class.
That's one cause I've found.
Also I always compile what I have before going into Design View to make sure the code is OK.

Problems with JList & JTable in Netbeans 5.5

Netbeans provides good GUI building provider.
But when i am adding JList inside panel
and trying to add elements its giving error.
So how to modify read only code in netBeans 5.5 generated code. ??
There is problem accessing JList variable to be modify.

I have had similar trouble.
In NetBeans Guieditor, JList and JTable are automatically created in a JScrollPanel. This is good as it saves you lots of formatting.
PROBLEM: when you click/select the JTable or JList in the GUI Editor the Properties box (right hand side ) only shows properties for the JScrollPane.
So you will only be able to edit Init code etc for the JScrollPane
SOLUTION: The "Members View" is a list of members (Panels, Objects, etc) on the left hand side of the screen.
The JScrollPane is listed there. You simply click on this to expand and select the JTable/JList that it contains.
When you select the JTable/JList the Properites window (right side of screen) now shows the properties for the component you really want to deal with.
The code options are very powerful.

Problem with visual jsf in NetBeans

I am using NetBeans 6.0 and when I make a new Web application using the Visual JavaServer Faces framework the Design tab is blank and says "Loading, please wait..." but it never loads...but I can open the jsp and java tab of Page1 with no problem... when I run the project appears this message:
