Problem with doing bus to Aux/live rack unit sends

Hi all,
Just recently bought a compressor and a Spring Reverb... both rack units (not plug ins).... both with (1/4'') IO.
My plan was to do a Bs send to an Aux. that utilized the IO plug in (routing a send and return to one of my new units). There after, I was hoping I could use the Bus send on the audio source track to send to the Aux/effect and then have a blend of dry and effected signal overall.
I think I missing something because with both units I have and issue where I hear a very unpleasant double sound and I'm fighting feed back... this is the case if I put the IO plug in on the source track and the Aux... so I figure that's where my problems lies...
Can anyone see what I might be doing wrong?

Why do you put the IO on both tracks? I would use it solely on the aux track.

Problems with K7t266 Pro2 and Soundblaster live 5.1

Hi all,
having a bit of a problem here with the above combination K7T266 pro2 and SB live5.1.
When playing music, watching video etc. every now and then I get something that sounds like bus noise, just for a few seconds and then the music continues, sometimes it also happens that video stops during the few seconds.
I have latest bios on mainboard, latest drivers for SB live, Via chipset, latest GPU drivers.
I tried changing IRQ's, took all other cards out, etc.
Nothing seems to work and it is getting very annoying. :( :(
Anyone any tips or tricks??

Problem with firewire bus

working in final cut pro, when i now plug drives into to frontside firewire 800 port they are running very slowly and when playing a clip fcp freezes up and i have to force quit. when i plug the drives into the backside fw port or use on my macbook pro they work fine so i'm pretty sure problem is wih frontside port. the device does show up on the system profiler. is there a way to tell from that there's a performance problem. are there any easy fixes for the port? is there a way to reset the bus. thanks.

unplugging is not 100% reliable resetting the SMC.
Hitting the power on button for 10 seconds while unplugged (and everything else too) may.
The older models like 3,1 all had different directions when they came out (1,1 and 2,1 even have a physical SMC button yu can access and use).

Problem with doing Cleansw

I can't find the CTZAPXX.EXE program on my cd.
(I have SBLi've! Value)
So I looked in my Programs files and found it.
But it wouldn't run and clicking it with the mouse restarted my computer.
Then I found this CTUninstal.
This is what popped up:

The instructions say to Select Dricer Un-installation for WDM drivers and click OK.
I don't know which/what that is. Help please.
I'm doing this because my sound doesn't work. I did the Diagnostics test and wave was the only one that didn't work. My System said that all the drivers were working perfectly. But I can't here Windows sounds nor sounds on the net. But I can hear stuff on my media players.

Well I have a different sound card than you but the CTZAPXX.EXE program is located on my installation CD under: Audio/Drivers

Problem with touch screen on sony live with walkman

I have replased the LCD&GLASS in my phone(live wt19i).because older one was broken(only glass).but when i swiched on my phone & after few minits the touch screen works automaticaly and apps opening & closing....then i cant handle it,i cant turn off it.then i have to remove the batery.plz help

Problem with Macbook pro VS Ableton Live 9.0.6

After upgrading to OS X version 10.9 (Mavericks), I am facing problems in audio editing... Before working .
Macbook pro super slow and unresponsive after working with Audio/Ableton.
Someone is going through this too?

I have the same problem, I'm running it on a macbook air with and i7 and 8 gigs of ram and I get cpu load readings of >100%. It's slightly ridiculous, I may downgrade till a fix comes or I figure out the problem. On a side note I have tried the 64bit version and it runs flawlessly I'm just unable to use many vsts so its not practical to use.

Problem with doing an average

I wrote this code tonight, the sum, max and min work but I can't compute the average. Secondly, I using 0 to stop the loop, but I would like to use Q how would i do that?

Do you know how to calculate an average? a + b + c / 3. What is your code doing? It is adding one to avg each time the user inputs something. This is a counter not the average.
To exit the loop using "Q" then you will need to compare the user input to "Q".

Problems with Zen X-Fi & Windows Live Messen

Has anyone else had problems getting online and accessing there windows li've messenger contacts. Ive set up the chat account on the website and input the correct info into my player but it just says that i aint added any friends even tho i've opened the gateway. Can anyone help?

I have the same problems, may be a problem of configuring the router, or the IM service on ZEN X-FI not always work.

Because I change songs on my MuVo TX FM fairly frequently, I'm tempted to format the device every few days to "clean it up." Does that do any...any...harm?

WOW every few days? ummm isnt that a little toooooooo much. usually one or every other month will do but wow. uhh no it wont do harm but like dont you get tired of doing it's also instead just to a disk cleanup itll clean up the cah and junk files and junk. but formamting every few days is too much.

Problem:
Sender JMS Adapter has transformation error when the file includes western european characters such as å,ä ö. And because of this reason the data is not picked up by adapter.
The scenrio is JMS --- > XI ---> Proxy.
If the file does not include the western European characters then it is working fine, but when the file include the western european characters such as å, ä, ö so got the error.
Our Efforts:
We have tried ISO8859-1 in JMS Module Tab as shown below.
1. Transfer.ContentType text/xml;charset=ISO-8859-1
AND with this also
2. Transfer.ContentType application/coctet-stream;charset=ISO-8859-1
None of them working.
Error In CC:
In Sender CC monitoring we are getting the below error.

Finally we solved the problem.
As you said above to figure the the codepage, we asked to our MQ team for the same and found that they are using ISO-8859-1. In XI we were also trying with multiple conbinations (ISO-8859-1, UTF-8 and many more), but didn't get any success.
Finally MQ team changed their encoding to UTF-8 and in XI we used ISO-8859-1 and we get the success in picking the data with spl char. Even though in XI the spl char comes in destorted order but at the receiver end they are in proper shape.

Problems with Sony XDCAM PHU-60 hard disk unit

Hello,
I have footage that was shot using an EX3 and recorded to the PHU-60 hard disk unit. I've been using this since September with no problems. Today when I went to transfer the footage to my computer the PHU-60 is not mounting. I connected it back to my camera and the footage is there. I tried connecting the camera to the computer and it still won't mount. I really need to get this footage from the PHU-60 onto my computer. Any suggestions? Has anyone else had problems like this with the PHU-60?

i will give an own measurement unit (VE), which we have inserted
in german and an german text (T006A), also an english text.
I searched via spro but i don't find any customizing entry to do this.
Isn't there any customizing for this??
How can i solve it?

Simple solved by login in SAP with
Language = 'EN' (normally in DE).
Than i could enter the text in EN.
But is'nt there any customizing-posibility?
