Problem with download link in Oracle 9i Lite page?

Hello,
I get a cannot find server/The page cannot be displayed error when attempting to download 9i Lite for Windows.

Is this a known issue? Can anyone else get to it?

Problem with download link for a BLOB Column in a "Classic report"

I am having a problem where I cannot make a download link for a blob column function in a "classic" (non-interactive) report. I went through the tutorial on this topic and it was great help it working out the minor bugs, but I get a 404 error (apex_util.get_BLOB not found). For testing purposes I went ahead and created a an identical report on the same page that is an "Interactive report" and it works like a charm. Same query, same BLOB formatting Mask, pulling data from the same table. So, it really doesn't seem like an issue with the grants, since both reports should be executing as the same user.
I know it sounds like the obvious answer is to just go with the interactive report and my problem is solved, but the rest of this site uses classic reports, and I don't need the sort features of an interactive report, and the slightly different style of the the report really stands out even if I turn off all the bells and whistles. I don't want to change the css to make them look identical, I just want a regular report to work.

I eventually found another post: APEX_UTIL.GET_BLOB was not found on this server
In this post there is the suggestion of putting "dbms_lob.getlength("var")" after the date field in your select. So I changed my query to have it at the end, and now my format mask (DOWNLOAD:table_name:ATTACHED_FILE:FILE_ID::FILE_MIME_TYPE:FILE_NAME:::attachment:Download) works like a charm, in a classic report.

I don't have access to this workspace. you should ask the group sponsor to check the Workspace. I would be surprised if the Home page was removed as that is the default page of the Wiki.

Problem with a link that repeat between al pages

I do something wrong with my book , now i have alink between each page that start from page 3 and also when i delet a page it will be move to another page . this is the screen shot of my problem , how can i remove this link (line)

that is just the indicator that one frame is linked to the next. look under the view menu...i am working from my phone and off the top of my head cannot remember the precise menu item.

Problem with Manage link on Creative Cloud Files page

When I click the Manage link from https://creative.adobe.com/files it just opens up another Files page. The View link works fine. Is this a known problem at the moment? It was working fine until a couple of days ago. I can still access these pages from links elsewhere, but it was useful at times to just use the links from the Files page.
I've tried from all three of my Macs and my iPad and it's the same every time.
Safari 5.1.7, Mac OS X 10.7.4, Creative Cloud subscription

It seems to be a compatability issue with the Safari browser platform. I'm encountering the same issue using Safari (same version - 5.1.7), but the link works fine using Google Chrome. I'm going to go ahead and submit a bug report regarding the issue, so hopefully this will get cleared up soon.
For now, if you have Chrome (I haven't tested this on Firefox), the Manage link should work fine.

Strange problem with Database LInk

I have strange problem with Database Link in Oracle 11g Express Edition;
There are two computers: computer-server and computer-client. Tnsnames.ora are the same on both computers ie.

I created database link :
Create database link zdalny
Connect to <user_id> identified by <password>
using ‘CT’;
Client can’t connect with server when I am using above command. But when I change “using” for using ‘krzysztof:1521’ or using ‘krzysztof’ or using ‘server IP:1521’ – everything is ok.
Why I am asking. Because in all materials which I am reading about Oracle command with using ‘CT’ should be working correct. But there is not. Do you know, why?

PS. I tried with using 'XE' - not working.Assuming that is the correct tnsnames, of course XE is not working. You don't have a tnsnames entry for 'XE'.
You need to be aware that when using a dblink, the client is the db in which the link is defined, not the desktop from which you connect to that database.

The fact that your client (db link) is a database doesn't change anything taught in the above.

Problems with Download of Oracle IFS /IFS Devkit for NT

I am having problems with download of Oracle IFS and Oracle IFS Devkit for NT.
When I ran the ifsdevkit.bat file the last four files did not get copied over. Subsequently when I ran the upload_ifsdevkit batch file as indicated in document I got error message saying
'System cannot find the path specified'.
When I opened the batch file it is looking for BIN directory under the C:\OraHome1\ifs directory but none exists. I wonder if this is the cause of problem. This would mean that the ifs1081.zip file has a bug in that it did not create the BIN directory and files under C:\OraHome1\ifs

Is C:\OraHome1 your ORACLE_HOME directory? (Usually, it's C:\Oracle\Ora81)
Also, have you installed iFS (successfully) in that ORACLE_HOME? If so, you are guaranteed to have an %ORACLE_HOME%\ifs\bin directory.
Finally, did you enter the correct directory as the parameter to the DEVKIT script?

Good morning,
Here is how I have solved this problem.
1. The select statement in the sql for the report should not include the BLOB column. I decided to select only 2 columns, the column that has the key and the column with the filename.
2. On the first column ( the primary key ) I put in the format statement that was simply DOWNLOAD:TABLENAME:BLOB_COLUMN:PRIMARY_KEY
This works. I believe that the Oracle error I was getting was because I was trying to apply this format statement to the actual BLOB column.
So, it appears that you can use any of the columns in the report to hold the DOWNLOAD format statement since in the format statement, you are defining the BLOB table, BLOB column and the primary key into that column.

Problems with download

I create a download link. It's works in the same way as in Denes Kubicek application.
It works correctly. Then I create another one report with download link. In the second report I have a problem. When I clicked on it, I see Error page "Not found...."
Everything is the same. I have no idea how to repair it. Does anybody have an idea what it might be?

The error you described happens when there is no execute granted to public on your
procedure. Check that. Also create a public synonym. Eventually, you are missing
the schema name in front of your procedure in the URL.The error must be somwhere
in there.

Problem with downloading an issue to an Android tablet

We're experiencing a problem with downloading an issue to an Android tablet.
Adobe Content Viewer on a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 attempts to download an issue, but after about 30 seconds of downloading ACW stops and without any error message returns to the previous state showing again the Download button. The Internet connection is good. Everything also works perfectly on other tablets we tried - ASUS Transformer and a previuos generation of Galaxy Tab.
Is there any common resolution for this problem?

Then a box that says Adobe Reader could not open 'Amazon_Appstore-release(9).apk' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file was damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded.) Welcome to Nokia discussions board!
In order to be able to download Europe maps without problem, I advise you to follow the simple steps below:
1) Uninstall the current version of Nokia Suite that you have.
2) Clean the registry with a registry cleaner.
3) On your PC, go to Start > Run and type %temp% and click on "Run". Delete all Nokia folders from the folder that opens.
4) Download the newest Beta version of Nokia Suite from this link:
http://betalabs.nokia.com/apps/nokia-suite-beta
You will need to sign in to your Nokia account - the same credentials used to log into this forum.
Once the program is installed on your PC, open it, connect your device to it and go to the Maps tab and start installing the maps again.

I'm facing the same error message while install Siebel 8.0 on OEL. But before I had this ksh problem, it complains about disc space first, and I actually has plenty of disk space under the directory (it needs only 0.7 G and I have 17G free). Anybody has encountered such problem before?

Problem with Download! on N78

I'm having a problem with Download! on my N78 (sw v. 12.046). I can open Download but it freezes, and I also can't download any applications. When Download! freezes, my only option to shut it down is to boot the phone..I can switch to other open applications but Download! is freezed. This is giving me hard time, can't install any applications. Any help or ideas? Anyone else having this problem?

Backup your data, and try doing a soft reset. *#7370#, (use this code at your own risk, since it deletes some important data's in your phone memory, including the data of installed applications on phone memory - means if you installed a java file to your card, it stores some data in your phone memory which will be deleted when you soft reset. So you will have to reinstall that software)
