Problem with downloading flip4mac from MS

hi, im trying to download flip4mac to watch bloomberg tv, but it always comes up with;
Safari can’t connect to the server.
Safari can’t open the page “http://wsidecar.apple.com/cgi-bin/nph-reg3rdpty2.pl/product=05561&cat=17&platfor m=osx&method=sa/WM%20Components%202.1.2.72.dmg” because it could not connect to the server “wsidecar.apple.com”.
all other downloads work fine. any ideas?? many thanks

Problems with downloading videos from the internet....please help

sorry if this the wrong forum to post but I don't know where else to post my issue.
Normally when I download videos from the internet I click on "window" then "activity" then the largest file ie ? of ? (which is the MB file) and it downloads then I use isquint to put it to mp4 format. However now when I do that the file I download says that "video _ts folders can't be directly converted" and there is a button that says "Inadequacy". I can't even download videos from youtube. Any help would be great.

I use Firefox which has quite a few video converter add ons that allows downloads of any type of video from the net. The one I use is called +Flash Video Downloader.+

You can get rid of those if you have any of the above installed.

Use Software Update to update your OS which is seriously out of date. The last version of Leopard I believe was either v5.6 or v5.8. Also, update all the other things listed that pertain to the OS & your model computer if applicable to your needs.

Problem with downloading data from cube into flatfile

Hi,
I am writing a program to download data from cube into flatfile .The program will be run in the background with user has given his selection in a table.the program works fine .The current problem which i am facing is the character length.e.g. Material is 18 ..but in my dynamic internal table it store the value of material with length of 10 character.
So i am not able to see the output material in correct format.Anybody knows how to change this format.

Theorethically, you can setup the material code length in TX OMSL, which uses the TMCNV table.
Why don't you change the structure of your internal table changing material fiela length from 10 to 18?

Problems with downloading files from the internet?

I have Mozilla Firefox and Safari on my macbook. For some reason it will not let me download things from the internet. Whenever i keep a download link, the page never loads....can anyone put some insight into my problem?

Since a few hours, I have the same problem like you. I uninstalled Firefox, because I thought it was a problem with it, but then i started Safari to redownload Firefox and guess what happened.. nothing. I can't download anything. don't know why. does anyone know whats wrong??

How downloaded objects/document are treated in browser is purely "browser defined behavior". Sometime someone said that or these kind of files (recognized by miome contenet - alias file extension) default behavior will be "show inline" or show in browser. This is esspecially true for Adobe 7.x and IE 6.x and Firefox 2.x....
For a test of my thoughts, install new browser (let say Opera or Mozila) and try to download LOB(doc). I'm sure that "Save As" dialog will show!

Problems with downloading driver from HP website

I have purchased a used HP Deskjet 2050 All in 1 printer. The installation CD is cracked and cannot be used. I have gone to the website and downloaded the driver for my printer ( have Windows Vista 32 bit), following the instructions step by step.
The last window that pops up asks if I want to install the driver modem, I click yes, the box stays on the screen showing the progress bar until it is done, then goes away. Then nothing......no install wizard or any instructions to complete the installation. I also have tried the add a printer on my Control Panel/printer screen, but my device is not listed in the selections available. Is there something else i should do....or should I just order the CD?

You could possibly be having problems with the desktop computer that is keeping the installation from completing. The laptop is probably Windows 7 whereas Vista can make installations harder sometimes.

I have uploaded a file from an application i developed and i want to download this file from another application. The code is

Problems with downloading pics from text?

Hi - is anyone else having problems downloading pics attached to text after running the 4.1.2 upgrade?
I've tried powering on and off - turning off wi-fi and just having data...(and vice versa)...to no avail. the text and pictures are coming from another verizon user....they have a "non-smart" phone.

Have you performed a System Cache wipe since the JB update? I would try it, it will not wipe your phone, you will not lose anything. If you are going to do this, make sure you follow the instructions exactly, as failure to do that could wipe the phone by accident.
Turn the phone off and perform Clear Partition. Clearing the partition will remove any temporary files that may be causing the problem, but will not delete your files or settings.
- Power the phone down.
- Hold the volume up and down and power key down all at the same time until you see the Boot Mode Selection Menu. This should happen within a couple of seconds.
- Press the volume down key until "Recovery" is highlighted. Press the volume up key to select.
- Wait until you see a triangle with an exclamation point in it.
- Press and hold the volume down key. While doing that, press and hold the volume up key then release them. This should put you into the Android system recovery.
- Press the volume down key until wipe cache partition is highlighted.
- Press the power button to select. You will be brought back to the Android system recovery utility when it is complete.
- Press the power button to select "reboot system now". Wait for the phone to boot.
Check to see if it cleared the problem. This fixed a couple of app issues with my RAZR after the update.

Problem with downloading photo from iCloud to iPhone's Photo Stream

I have two apple device, one iPad and one iPhone. For iPad, I turned on 'My Photo Stream' and 'Shared Photo Streams' function before, but iPhone not, and I installed iCloud client at my Win7 PC, so any photos which created by iPad will upload to iCloud and iCould will post them to my Win7 PC, it's perfect!
But.. Here is the problem, I turned on 'My Photo Stream' and 'Shared Photo Streams' function at my iPhone now as well, however the previously photos which created by iPad cannot download to my iPhone's 'Photo Stream', thats mean I cannot download any old photo from iCloud to iPhone's Phone Stream, can I know is this a problem or not? AFAIK, Microsoft's Skydrive could download any files from cloud to end user's device, cant Apple make it as well?

Photo stream photos only remain in iCloud for 30 days, even though a rolling collection of up to 1000 photos will remain on your devices until deleted. When you enabled photo stream on your phone you would have only received photos added to photo stream in the last 30 days, as older photos are no longer in iCloud.
If you want to get your older photos from your iPad to your iPhone, you can either import them to your computer and sync them to your phone, or use an app like PhotoSync or Bump to transfer them.

IPhone 4S and iOS 6 - Problem with downloading podcasts from iTunes

Along with all the other issues (Wi-Fi, Maps, etc) I have now found a new problem for my iPhone. I am unable to transfer any files (Podcasts, Music, Movies, etc) or sync with iTunes. I am using the most current version of iTunes (10.7), and have restarted my phone to see if that would help. This problem only started today, about 10 days after downloading and installing iOS 6. Any help is appriciated.

I've had a problem with downloading movies from iTunes

I have been downloading a tv series (firefly) from the iTunes store. For the last four downloads I've done were automatically repeated after completing before I could watch them. I have a slow Internet and each video is around 500kb witch for me takes about two hours but as I waited for one to be done I had been watching another previous episode and when I went back to check if it was done it had restarted back at 0kb downloaded. That might have been why (watching another video when it finished it's download) it restarted or it might have been the fact that I had lost internet connection half way through the download and had to retry the download (but that didn't start me back at zero, it started where I left off). I don't know what the problem is here it might just be my bad Internet but if anyone else knows differently please tell me.

Problem with downloading TRAILERS from MusicStore

I'm trying to download a few movie trailers from the MusicStore. I've searched through this forum an found out that other users had the same question: How does it work???
There are people who say that there is a button "iPod" near "Small, Medium, Large" (King Kong), or there are people who say that you just have to "let it load and drag it to your desktop". But none of it works with me.
An other question is: It seams that you have to convert it to the iPod format, no? But why are trailers located on the MusicStore FrontPage when they cannot be played on the iPod. I mean, you find there all other things, like Podcasts, Videos or Shortfilms which all work fine with an iPod without any convertion, why do we have to convert Trailers with Quick Time Pro (which isn't free). I'm just wondering...

If you have quicktime pro, then you can save them to your computer when they finish loading by hitting that arrow pointing down on the left and save movie as. This is only if you have quicktime pro. Then in quicktime you can export the movie into a format the iPod understands.
Some movies, like King Kong, have an iPod button which you click and it saves the movie, in an iPod format, to your computer. Then drag it into iTunes. It then transfers to iPod.

Problem with downloading drivers from Toshiba EU site

Hello,
I have a Qosmio G30-126 With Vista Ultimate.
Every time that I try to download any new drivers from Toshiba-Europe site, the connection is broken.
The result is an incomplete ZIP file which is unusable. If I use Download Accelerators, the file seems to download completely butstill is unusable (CRC fail check) the same error with incomplete downloads.
I can only manage to download small files from Toshiba's site and only after some repeated trials. They don't come at firts trial.
I tried both IE7 and firefox with no success. I used DownloadAccelerator Plus but it is still worst.
Anyone has any sugestion or solution?

I download several drivers from the Toshiba European driver page and everything works like a dream
Listen I use the IE6.
I think you should try to download it again and check your OS, internet browser and internet settings!!

Problem with downloading pictures from PC-cam350

I have a PC-Cam 350 that is giving me a problem. I took the camera with me for mothers day and took a bunch of pictures. When I got home I took some more pictures but I hit the button on the back that changes the mode mistakenly. When I plug the camera into the computer and click on the "Digital Camera" section of the PC-Cam center, it downloads all of the pictures up until the ones that I took mistakenly in another mode, and then I get a message that says the CTPCCCam.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. Is there anyone that knows how I can save the pictures that are in the camera?

Just had a breakthrough! I suddenly noticed that there were 4 headings in the Video App, one of which I had never opened before called 'Home Videos'. I discovered that my own camcorder videos were in it (I guess that that should have been expected. Duh!) AND films that I had captured and converted to MPeg-4s. I had expected that these films would have been stored under 'Movies'. Oh, well, you live and learn! Hope that that might help anyone else who has been having my problem of missing fims on their iPad.
