PROBLEM WITH DW LAYER HIDING/UNHIDING

I've serious problem and trouble in working with layer. I've
created my webpage with layers. I have several layers and sublayers
inside each. However I'm not albe to work easy with these . I need
to load some layers on webpage load. Attaching behaviour at the
index loading I cannot see in the windows that appear what are the
current layers shown, active, or hided or predefined. the window is
unresizable and I guess this is a bug of dreamweaver.
PLEASE SOMEONE CAN HELP ME HO WBYPASSING THIS PROBLEM?

Player compatibility problem with dual layer media

I've created a dual layer DVD and there is a problem with compatibility from player to player.
It plays fine in one of my DVD players but will not load in the other.
The duplicators tested my master on 2 players and it loaded on both, but would lock up if a chapter was selected from the submenu.
It has 4 tracks of content. 3 menus, and a bunch of chapter markers. The original build had stories (replaced with standard chapter markers) but I removed them hoping it would solve the problem.
The imported video tracks were created with Compressor. MPEG-2 2 pass VBR max bit rate 7.5. AC3 audio tracks. 7.7 GB on disc.
I'm already way over my deadline and ahve no idea what to do next other than maybe recompress so the disc is not so close to being maxed out.

Thats just how compatible that media is... +R DL (double layer) & -R DL are not that compatible. Recordable media is less compatible that replicated discs but double and dual layer media can be 50% compatible at best (depending on your target market...)
Good quality media, Verbatim +R DL for example burnt at slow speeds helps improve things,

Having problem with applying layer style "stroke" to group

I don't know why, but there is some problem that applying layer style "stroke" to group.
When i make a group with some layer and apply to group a layer style-stroke with inside option,
the strokes looks like grid are generated inside.
Why i said that stroke cross to ㅎrid, because it looks like grid if i make that group bigger.
(that black square is 'Rectangle 1' layer. Just resizing bigger than before)
Does anyone have same problem with me?

OK, I just thought to try it on my Cintiq Companion 2, which has Windows 8.1 and Intel 5100, and the bug occurred. I actually got as far as firing up my Win 8.1 laptop before remembering that I had to sign out of CC to put it on my Cintiq, so I only have CS6 on it.
Anyway.... looks like the bug is still there. Are you using Win 8.1?

Problem with BMM layer warning messages.

I have modelled with the following tables in BMM layer.
Dimension tables: Regions,Countries,Departments, locations, Employees, jobs, job history
Fact table: HR Facts (measured columns like salary, max salary, min salary, commission)
The model is consistent with the following warnings:
Logical dimension table REGIONS has a source REGIONS that does not join to any fact source.
Logical dimension table DEPARTMENTS has a source DEPARTMENTS that does not join to any fact source.
Logical dimension table COUNTRIES has a source COUNTRIES that does not join to any fact source.
Logical dimension table LOCATIONS has a source LOCATIONS that does not join to any fact source.
and also in the answers section (Presentation services) i could not able to view data, it's giving the following error (when i am trying to display REGION NAME field values)
State: HY000. Code: 10058. [NQODBC] [SQL_STATE: HY000] [nQSError: 10058] A general error has occurred. [nQSError: 14026] Unable to navigate requested expression: REGIONS.REGION_NAME. Please fix the metadata consistency warnings. (HY000).
I could not able to trace the problem where exactly is to be fixed.

Thanks for the information. Ideally that works out without any hierarchies. But the problem with which i was facing is somewhat different.
Let me explain the problem scenario exactly:
I have an employee, region tables in physical layer. Employee table has SALARY Column. Region table dont have any
join with Employee table. In BMM layer i have created a fact table "HR Facts" and crated a logical fact column SALARY.
The logical fact table source is Employee table. I have drag dropped Region table into BMM layer and joined with HR
Facts table. While consistency check its given a warining message: Logical dimension table REGIONS has a source
REGIONS that does not join to any fact source.
What is the problem exaclty?

Problem with Gradient Layer and second layer with opaque object

I opened a new document with a white background. I then used the gradient tool under the paint bucket to make a blue sky fading to white. I then created a second layer to put a sun in with diffuse edges, so as to not have just a round yellow ball. Problem is, the yellow sun comes out fine on its' transparent layer, but when I turn on the gradient layer, it gets a blue tinge from the sky and is really only half visible. An example is below. Please help. Thanks in advance.

I'd guess, without seeing your layers palette, that your sun image is partially transparent and as such some of the blue sky is mixing with it, yielding the green color you see.
It really boils down to what you want it to look like. If you're shooting for more or less a "child's" style drawing of a big yellow ball, make the brush you draw the sun with have a harder edge, and paint it in so that the central pixels are opaque. Make sure the sun's above other layers that could influence the result.
It might be good if you screen grabbed your layers palette and posted it.

Strange noise problem with music layer after replacing the music file using script in CS6

I got a strange problem. Sometime when I import a music file, or replace a music footage with another music file using the "replace()" or "importFile()" method, the music layer added one second noise at the beginning. like this,
Does anyone know what's going on here?
I'm using After Effects CS6 windows Server 2008 64bit.

Thanks for your replay. Actually, it doesn't matter what makes up my comp, this problem just randomly happen when I render any comp. For example, I have a comp named "noise", I run a script to replace the music then render it, I use a "for" loop to do this 5 times and the music noise problem just happen one time.
I'm starting to think that win server might be the problem.

Time effect problem with adjusment layer

I made an adjustment layer above two footages. Everything is working (color, levels etc.) with that except time effects. When I drag twixtor to it the video turns to red. The original picture:

The lower side has crapped out and even my black and white color has been removed. Is it because of the size or fps or what else?
(720p footages, 50 fps, I changed comp size, version is AE CS6 11.0.0.378)

Pre-compose or render the comp that you want to speed up or slow down. Add a solid. Apply Twixtor to the solid. Use the pre-comp as the source and make the time changes you are planning.

.png transparency- problem with underlying layer control

I have an opaque orange rectangle with a clear uneven square cut into it through which I am displaying a slideshow (Spry Image Slideshow) and it works fine except that I cannot control the slideshow with my cursor. I can control the slideshow fine when it is on top of the rectangle, but I want the cutout to act as a frame on top of the slideshow.
Is the transparency in the .png akin to a sheet of glass? If so can I access the controller somehow through the "glass" with some added code?

You cannot place a 'layer' over the slideshow, as this 'layer', (Is this an ap div?) will then 'have focus' above the slideshow and anything underneath this, (the slideshow controls) will not be selectable.
You could program your own event handlers in javascript to control the slideshow, but this will require you to have a reasonable understanding of javascript programming.

Why does the file size change when put into an iDVD project? And problems with dual layer discs...

I exported a short video of mine from Final Cut Express and the size of the file came out to 7.3 GB. When I put it into an iDVD project, it says that the file is only 800 MB. I tried just burning it onto a dual layer disc anyway to see if it might still burn at the original file size, but the disc came out unusable for some reason, and obviously hadn't been burned anywhere near full-capacity. So, I tried it again, and the exact same thing happened.
I guess my first question is: why is iDVD changing the size of the file? I want the quality to be the best it can be, so keeping it at 7.3 GB as opposed to 800 MB is rather important.
Secondly, why did the dual layer discs come out unusable? I've burned single layer discs before and they haven't been an issue. Also, I know for a fact that the drive can burn dual layer discs, so that isn't the issue.

Guessing here but it looks like you edited/exported an SD/DV sequence of about 30 min in FCE. DVD needs to be MPEG-2 so iDVD compresses the original file down to the size that you report.

The quality will be what the MPEG-2 compression and the software allow for. MPEG-2 is DVD standard .... there's no way around that.

Guessing again but it would seem that you burned a Data DVD instead of a Video DVD which would be unusable by a set-top player. As I said above you can't get around DVD standards.
If by any chance your video was HD originally you can try to go the Blu-Ray route using Roxio Toast or FCS 3 (discontinued) or FCP X. You will also need a Blu-Ray burner.

Mapviewer multi basemap problem with Bing Layer

We would like to open Bing Layer tile layer over our oracle mapviewer basemap. We are getting following error.
[MVMapView.addMapTileLayer] MAPVIEWER-05528: Map tile layers have different zoom level definitions. Only the map tile layer added later will be added to the map.
Our basemap tile layer level definitions are as same as Bing Map. Here is the code which we are using.

The tile layer definitions must match exactly.
i.e. same SRID (3785 in this case), same number of levels (19 with mapviewer 11.1.1.5) and same tile width/height.
Also the database (where basemap1 is defined) must have an entry for 3785 and a transformation rule between 3785 and 8307 which ignores the ellipsoid/datum shift.
(See section 8.7 of the 11.1.1.5 mapviewer user guide and the script csdefinition.sql in the WEB-INF/admin directory).

Problems with dual layer disks.

This is the first time I have needed to burn 8gigs on 1 disk so I went out and bought some dual layer disks(ouch!!!). The first copy burned fine and works but I made a small typo and had to fix it and reburn. After that the disks will not burn and dvdsp4 keeps locking up and I have now wasted 2 disks that I had to give my oldest daughter for. My 2.7 locks up so tight I have to do a hard shut down to reboot. any suggestions?

When you re-build, are you doing so over the existing build. Meaning, are you building right at the very same folder location, without first clearing the contents of that folder?
You might also try to locate the PAR files are remove them. You do this by closing DVDSP, and then looking through the file folders where your project files are. Locate the .PAR files and remove them. When DVDSP is restarted, it will re-parse the files as if they're new to the project. That combined with building to a clean folder with no existing files is as clean a build as you can get.

Problems with dual layer DVD reading MBPro (2009)

Hello,
recently i wanted to take a look at a dvd that came with a magazine (for pcs, but that shouldn´t really matter here) on my macbook pro from mid 2009 (see http://support.apple.com/kb/SP541) with the latest version of osx.
Unfortunately, it didn´t succeed to read the dvd. only ejected it after doing a little searching and making strange noises.
According to the technical specifications this macbook pro should be able to at least read dual layer dvds. I won´t even try to burn one of those, because after doing a little research on the www i found a lot of entries with people going insane with the burning capabilities of macs concerning dual layer media.
Unfortunately i couldn´t find anything on the topic in the forums here. Also no official statement whether macs can or cannot cope with dl media. In my opinion, if it´s specified in the tech specs, then the computer should also live up to the expectations.
Are there any suggestions on how to go about with the matter of dl media and macs? Any information would be much appreciated. Also a notice from apple would be nice, this seems to be a matter (given, although probably not of top priority) concerning quite a lot of people and machines.

well - thanks for the information. i would like to point out that the dvd i was trying to use was not for burning purposes. it was a medium that came with a magazine. out of my experience sometimes these work even better than home-burnt dvds, but that might be subjective.
anyway, tonight i gave it another try with the cleansed medium. apx. in the same condition as last time (had stored it in a safe place) and big surprise: this time it didn´t read neither side again. kind of a drawback - maybe tomorrow i´ll have more luck again.
so my hopes for an apple official to comment on this forum won´t be heard, i guess. although it appeared to me that last time here i had seen a user profile resembling an official apple profile. but i might be wrong, i´ll just keep on wondering about this so-called dl-drive.

Problem with Transport Layer

We are doing an upgrade from 4.6C to ECC6. we have imported a transport request from 4.6C to ECC6.
When I change the transport layer of a package that is newly imported and save it, the system prompts for a local work bench request. How do I save it in a transportable request instead of local work bench request?

just as I wrote that behavior should be ok, so after creating the local request (so after changing the layer)
- Run SE09 and explode the node of the local request where package is
- Place the cursor on the package and delete it from the request
- Run SE80, choose your package and change the descrption: now the system should create a transportable request.
U make sure the layer is correct for the new system

MOTION TRACKING PROBLEM WITH ADJUSTMENT LAYER

Hi.
I'm trying to blur out a logo on a shoe, but I'm having some difficulty getting the tracker to stick to the logo. Can someone help me, please. Here are the steps I took:
1. I used Tracker to track a logo that I want to blur out.
2. After analyzing the layer, I went back to check the attach point frame by frame The attach point is centred perfectly on the logo on every frame.
3. Then, I added an adjustment layer, and used the pick whip to ensure that the position of the adjustment layer is the same as the attach point position from the tracker.
4. On the adjustment layer, I created an ellipse mask, applied a gaussian blur. But when I do playback, the ellipse mask is all over the place and not sticking to the logo.
Does anyone have an idea as to what I'm doing wrong? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, in advance.

To start off I always apply tracking data to a null then parent the null to the layers that should follow the track.
Make sure that you have picked the right target. Make sure that you've picked the right options. You should be using Transform as the track type. You should also do a quick Google search. There are a bunch of tracking tutorials out there.
If your null follows the object then you can parent the adjustment layer to the null. That should do it.

Problems with FOI layer using mod_wl in Apache

I have published my application on web. I use MapViewer 1033 on Solaris 10 and Apache 2.0.59 on Windows XP. To proxy my requests I use mod_wl module in Apache. When I try to load base map everything is ok. But when I try to load FOI layers there is no result. Only base map is loading.
