Problem with envelopes

Hello all.
I'm trying to create an envelope using the template but the address is too far right and a little too low. I've been trying to move it, etc. but have had no luck. Any suggestions as to how to place it in the correct location? Thanks in advance.

This is a guess since you didn't mention which of the 17 envelope templates you are using.
Adjust the height of the address using the Document Inspector, Document tab, Top Document Margin.
Adjust the lateral position using the Layout Inspector, Layout tab, Left Layout Margin.
Hope this does it for you.

  • Problems with enveloping in Flash

    I'm trying to create a shape tween, in which I use the envelop transform.
    Somehow, when I change the position of the points on the left side of the object, the object rotates during the shape tween; if I change the position of the points on the left side, everything goes the way it should be.
    I recorded the screen while displaying the problem, I hope it is clear this way:

    I hope someone can help me with what I did wrong.
    Thanks in advance!

    Don't know exactly what to tell you. I seldom use shape tweens because they seem to so often go awry.
    You might want to try and add a shape hint or two. Seems to work for me.
    Sorry I don't have more.

  • Problems with envelopes in OfficeJet 5610

    I used  WordPerfect mail merge to generate a file of over 100 envelopes. I have tried printing with several brands of envelopes that advertise as being suitable for inkjet printers. None of them feed reliably through my OfficeJet.  I set the paper size as "No. 10 envelope," set the printer feed to "right" to match the placement of envelopes in the tray, and moved the paper guide over to the edge of the paper.  I am feeding envelopes one at a time to reduce errors. The envelopes feed eratically. Often part of the return address runs off the edge of the paper. Sometimes the envelope twists as it feeds in, and everything comes out skewed, plus there is a wrinkle in the envelope. Sometimes the envelope just jams in the printer.  Is there anything else I can do?

    I upgraded to an OfficeJet 8500. It feeds envelopes fairly reliably, although I lost the ability to print postcards, which the older printer could handle.
    My new envelope problem is that the printer won't print the return address closer than 0.6 inch from the left margin. Supposedly, the printer will handle a much smaller margin. In practice, it simply doesn't print any content closer than 0.6 inch to the edge.

  • Problems with envelope-printing in Address Book: First and Last names

    New entries I make in Address Book are printing incorrectly, with Last name then First name. Most of my older entries print correctly as First name then Last name (though oddly I have a small batch of entries I imported ages ago which have always exhibited the same transposition problem).
    I have prefs set to display entries by Last name. Problem entries WILL print correctly if I change this to 'display by First name'. (older entries print correctly regardless of 'display by..' pref).
    I'm having the same problem if I create a new account, which made me suspect the app was corrupted, but not helped by deleting app and re-installing from Tiger DVD then running combo updater.

    Thank you for the suggestion.
    However, it doesn't make sense for the LIST display-order to swap the first-and-last names on an ENVELOPE. Secondly, most of my entries DO print correctly: it's only NEW entries that transpose the first and last names.

  • PI - Problem with a receive WSDL message with encode (envelope)

    Hello,
    I'm having a ploblem with a PI interface with the scenario below (synchronous):
    ECC (proxy) <-> PI <-> 3rdParty (soap)
    The WSDL provided has a kind of envelope (soapenc:arrayType). Here's the structure declaration:
             <xs:complexType name="TTUDResultArray">
                <xs:sequence>
                   <xs:element name="Success" type="xs:boolean" />
                   <xs:element name="ErrorDescription" type="xs:string" />
                   <xs:element name="Count" type="xs:int" />
                   <xs:element name="Accounts" type="ns1:TTUDInquiryResultArray" />
                </xs:sequence>
             </xs:complexType>
             <xs:complexType name="TTUDInquiryResultArray">
                <xs:complexContent>

                   </xs:restriction>
                </xs:complexContent>
             </xs:complexType>
    When I import this WSDL as a External Definition, the field Accounts is displayed with error (in red), as the PI was incapable to read this kind of type definition.
    Testing in SoapUI, the response message is displayed with a different structure than it's possible to see in the PI Operation Mapping:

    Someone knows if that's some tip of how to use this kind of WSDL?

    Hello,
    Looks like an RPC style WSDL to me. Can you ask the third-party to provide you with a document-literal wsdl? You can refer to the points mentioned by Stephan in this thread.

    Thanks to Raj for pointing out that I did not have the thread link
    Hope this helps,

  • Problems printing envelope from pdf file with logo & return address.

    I have the 6310 All-In-One Printer. I am experiencing major problems printing envelopes (standard size, #10) from a pdf file that is setup with a business logo, name , and address. First of all, the User Guide on page 63 directs you to load the envelope with the flaps up and on the left. This prints out return address in the lower right corner of the envelope front. I have insert the envelope opposite to the User Guide to get the information printed in the correct location, the upper left corner.
    Bigger problem - The logo, which is placed to the left of the business name and address will NOT print out. My preview printer window shows the logo, but it will not print. I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong.

  • Problem with query for Oracle

    Hello Experts,
    I'm tryng to develop my first application for EP (v7 SP12) with NWDS (without NWDI).
    This application has to read and write data in the EP DB (oracle v10).
    I'm using:
    <u>a Dictionary Project</u> (define the DB Tables)
    <u>a Java Project</u> (define class as DAO, DBManager etc)
    <u>a Library Project</u>
    <u>an EJB Project</u>
    <u>an EAR Project</u>
    With these projects I can deploy a <u>webService</u> in my EP server.
    BUT I have some problem with a query that I'm tryng to sent to my DB through a DAO Class called by my WebService.
    The query is simple and correct but it does not work...
    This is the error message returned (the query id in bold)
    (column names: GIORNO, NOMEDITTA, NOMEAREA, NOMESETTORE)
    <i>HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error
    Connection: close

    The variable '?' is the today date, the difference <b>"(?-GIORNO)"</b> is an int..
    Moreover in my DAO class the query is <b>"SELECT NOMESETTORE, MIN(? - GIORNO) AS GIORNI FROM SRS_DATEINFORTUNI WHERE NOMEDITTA = ? AND NOMEAREA= ? GROUP BY NOMESETTORE ORDER BY NOMESETTORE</b>", instead in the error message is reported <b>MIN(? - "GIORNO")</b>...
    We have tryed also with alternative query, for example we used <b>"MIN(SYSDATA - GIORNO)"</b> but <b>SYSDATA</b> was interpreted as column name and  not found....
    Any help???
    Best Regards

    Hi, I found something about the Host Variable (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/ed/dbf8b7823b084f80a6eb7ad43bdbb9/content.htm), there explain that if you want to use an host variable you have to put ':' as prefix..
    My problem is that <u>I need to extract the minimum of the subtraction between two dates:</u>
    Query <b>MIN(? - GIORNO)</b> --> <i>Error: the arithmetic expression >>? - "GIORNO"<< contains a host variable (parameter marker)</i>
    So I tried to use the ':' as indicated in the manual..
    <b>MIN:(? - GIORNO)</b> --> - <i>SQL syntax error: the token ":" was not expected here
                   - expecting LPAREN, found ':'</i>
    <b>MIN(:(? - GIORNO))</b> --> <i>- 1:25 - Open SQL syntax error: :PARAMETER not allowed
                   - 1:26 - SQL syntax error: the token "(" was not expected here
                   - 1:26 - expecting ID, found '('</i>
    Then I tried to avoid the MIN() function and I tried to do just the subtraction:
    <b>? - GIORNO</b> --><i> - 1:21 - the arithmetic expression >>? - "GIORNO"<< contains a host variable (parameter marker)</i>
    <b>:(? - GIORNO)</b> --> <i>- 1:21 - Open SQL syntax error: :PARAMETER not allowed
                - 1:22 - SQL syntax error: the token "(" was not expected here
                - 1:22 - expecting ID, found '('</i>
    <b>'2007-09-24' - GIORNO</b> --> <i>- 1:34 - SQL syntax error: first argument of operator "-" must be a number, date/time or interval
                     - 1:43 - SQL syntax error: arguments of operator "-" do not have correct types
                     - 1:43 - SQL syntax error: derived columns in SELECT list with AS must be values</i>
    <b>GIORNO - GIORNO</b> --> <i>- 1:21 - the group by list and the select list are inconsistent: the column >>"GIORNO"<< is neither grouped nor aggregated
                  - 1:30 - the group by list and the select list are inconsistent: the column >>"GIORNO"<< is neither grouped nor aggregated</i>
    Why these parts of query are not accepted???
    I don't understand why... I hope you can help me.
    Best Regards

  • Multiple problems with Mail

    Here is the setup:

    Mail 2.1.1
    seperate user accounts, each with their own email address
    email is valornet.com (local ISP), set up to download to Mail
    Multiple problems with one of the user accounts (not affecting the others):
    1. Multiple copies in the inbox of the same message. These are brand new, not a week old as some other threads have mentioned. When I go to Preferences/Accounts/Advanced I have already clicked the "Remove Now" button, also the "Remove copy from server..." is checked.
    2. Mail will not stop retrieving new mail. The circle thing next to the Inbox on the left just keeps spinning, and spinning, and spinning...
    3. Cannot quit Mail. Have to go in Activity Monitor and Force Quit.
    4. My trash folder is gone.
    If anyone can help me clean up this mess, I would appreciate it.

    It was showing Bluetooth first and ethernet 2nd; I moved ethernet to the top.

    Do you have any Mail plug-ins or any system utilities

  • HP LaserJet 4 with envelope feeder (C2001A)

    When printing a letter or document, the printer will print out 2 envelopes with the following printing on it:   %12345X@PJL COMMENT HP LaserJet 4   @PJL SET PAGEPROTECT = OFF   @PJL SET PAGEPROTECT=AUTO  @PJL SET...
    A lot of times this occurs when you first turn on the printer.  Any ideas on how to stop this.  We are going through envelopes like crazy.  My employer just put together a new computer for me and installed Windows 7.  Thanks.

    The HP 4 printer has a JetDirect card in the back of it. The JetDirect card has a 10BaseT ethernet which I connected with an ethernet cable to an airport express base station. The express unit communicates with the main airport unit in my home.
    Many years ago I worked for a company that rebuilt macintosh computers and hardware for resale. I rebuilt this HP printer from spare parts and added the JetDirect card at that time and have not had any major problems with the unit until now. It had no problems or printing errors when I was running 10.4.11.
    I neglected to mention that after the printer would not work with 10.5.8 I went back and tried to reinstall the optional printer driver package on the original 10.5.1 installation DVD. When this did not work either, I downloaded the HP print driver package available from their website. Could I have somehow screwed this up by installing the incorrect or uncompatible print drivers?
    Thank you for your help. I really appreciate it.

In order to view them I have to go to view folder and select my SMS inbox.  It was not like this for the past few days, as i could straight see all the latest sms message just a click on the screen icon.
    The only thing I have changed is that i accidently clicked on this:
    At the menu of the SMS and MMS, i click on Options - Inbox Settings - Other Message Types - SMS AND MMS <<<i had click on this and save it accidentally and i am not able to normal view my sms message again.
    Can anyone tell me how to change it so my sms messages could be seen without having to go to view folder and select my SMS inbox.
    Another problem, some of the sms message is undeletable. No matter what method i have try it refuse to delete. I am still able to use it to send message but there will not be any message shown there where normally it should. Can any help on this? • Problem with XML SQL  JDBC adapter

    Hello All.
    I have quite strange problem with my PI.

    Hi,
    i was also facing the same error few days back in a JDBC -RFC-JDBC Synchronous scenario. In that scenario, i was using 2 modules in JDBC sender module tab. It was working fine. later i change polling interval and then i started getting same error. it happened coz of sequence of Module got changed somehow.
    So please check in Receiver JDBC adapter and SOAP sender adapter CC  if anything is changed. If this scenario is working in DEV as it is then it should work after transport.
    Else have a look here

  • Soap response with envelope

    Hi
    My PI server is able to make a soap call to the SFDC ( webservice ) ...however the response that is received within PI
    has a SOAP envelope...and hence the response mapping is going in error....because the source data type in response mapping doesnot match with the soap response ( with envelope )

      </result>
      </upsertResponse>
      </soapenv:Body>
      </soapenv:Envelope>
    how do i handle this

    Hi,
    I think there is an option while configuration of SOAP adapter, where you can define, not to keep SOAP envelop. Please check the option Conversion Parameters\Do Not Use SOAP Envelope and set it as per your requirement. That might solve the problem. Here is the link which can be helpful
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/29/5bd93f130f9215e10000000a155106/content.htm
    Alternatively you need a java mapping or XSLT mapping to remove the envelop.
    Here is the java mapping code to remove SOAP envelop

    import java.io.InputStream;

    http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/XI/SampleJAVAMappingcodeusingPI7.1+API
    You can also try following XSLT mapping to get the same output as java mapping
    <xsl:stylesheet version="1.0"
    xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
    xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"
    exclude-result-prefixes="SOAP-ENV">
    <xsl:output method="xml" version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" indent="yes" />
    <xsl:template match="/">
    <xsl:for-each select="SOAP-ENV:Envelope/SOAP-ENV:Body">
    <upsertResponse>
    <result>
         <xsl:variable name="var" select="normalize-space(.)"></xsl:variable>
         <xsl:variable name="tokenizedSample" select="tokenize($var,' ')"/>
        <created><xsl:value-of select="$tokenizedSample[1]"/></created>
        <id><xsl:value-of select="$tokenizedSample[2]"/></id>
        <success><xsl:value-of select="$tokenizedSample[3]"/></success>
    </result>
    </upsertResponse>
    </xsl:for-each>
    </xsl:template>
    </xsl:stylesheet>
    Other than these please refer to following links for further examples on the topic
    Remove SOAP-ENV tags from xml RECEIVER RESPONSE payload (XSL needed?)

    Hope this helps your cause.

  • Problem with adapter

    hello
    running a sync service and recieve this error.
    couldnt determine if this is XI problem or WS.
    if it is XI, how can I debug it?

    Hi,
    This merely problem with cache. It is saying XI engine is not able identify the adapter engine URL.
    please do this.
    You can view the cache data in
    transaction SXI_CACHE. To do this,
    select Go to &#56256;&#56518; Adapter Engine
    Cache.
    You can delete the cache data in
    transaction SXI_CACHE. To do this,
    select Go to &#56256;&#56518; Adapter Engine
    Cache. Then choose the recycle bin
    push button ( ).

    Regards,

    Hi Prashant,
    Just click onto your namespace and verify the details given in the "Connection data for import from SAP system". Check whether its matching the system from where you have called the RFC.
    hope this will help u.
