Problem with executing some WebApplication Templates

Hi forum, i have like 7 WebApplication Templates i built myself and they show the same error, I checked them out, but it doesn't seem to be an error in the variables. If i run the queries attach to them they work just fine.
I'll put the error here:

The thing is that i chacked the code in the txcode CMOD, and the queries and they are OK.
I'm using SAP BW Release 700 SP 25.
The error is either in DEV or PRD

The issue can be with a Text Field or a Characteristic in your Query.
Can you try executing your query from transaction RSRT? Use Java Web.

Hi Wesley,
This is rather late, but we've seen the same thing frequently (and I believe can replicate it). It's caused when you a creating a new email by copying the content of an existing one with a name space in it.
Upon copying, the link gets scrambled. The approach we use is to copy the email in to a new template, then strip out all of the URL links and add them back in.

Hi, I have a problem with opening some of PDFs in Photoshop CS6. It is said: it isn't possible to carry out an order since the module of the file format cannot analyse this file

Don’t know if Reader has this, too, but in Acrobat one can check under Document Properties.
I can convert and place the file in Photoshop CS6.
I would recommend trying the usual trouble-shooting routines and if nothing helps un-installing, running the Cleaner and re-installing Photoshop. (After making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved to s secure location.)

Problem with printing some report

we have some problems with printing some reports.
the problem is when printing a report the computer processes stoped
and i should restart the computer a gain to print the report for first time and
then in the second time i have same problem.

You can check out the new printer driver test utility verions2.0 on OTN at:

This should help you determine if it is a printer problem or whether you should look into another area.
Also, you don't mention which version of reports, what command line options your using, the computer
configuration your using whether it is a network printer or local printer connected to the machine. Support
will need this information to help determine where your problem lies.

PI Demo Examples problems with executing CTC template for client setup

Dear SAP community,
I use PI 7.30 SP 4 and get the following exception if I use the CTC template to set up the PI demo examples in client 105
and 106

Exception details : java.lang.Exception: BAPIRET2 SRT_ADMIN 050 Could not create service destination

In client 107, the template works after I delete the SAP_WSRT user. In clients 105 and 106, this leads to the exception above,
If the SAP_WSRT user exists, I get the exception that this user alreadz exists if I run the template.
What should I do to fix this problem and properly implement the template on all clients?
PS: I use admin users with SAP_ALL rights. Maybe I use the wrong master password, because I use the one of my SAP_ALL user. This works at least for using the template within client107.

Hi Mark,
in my case the workaround of deleting the service user works only in Client 107.
The additional problem with a missing service destination occurs already after deleting the service user in Clients 105 and 106. Will this additional problem also be treated in the new note?
Joerg-Joachim Klossika already added the workaround to this note for the existing service user I proposed to him.
I still cannot resolve the problem with the missing service destination.

Problem with executable

I have a problem with the executable I'm trying to create. Well actually I created the executable and I've run on another computer. To say, that I`ve developed a SCADA with the DSC module and the computer where I'm testing I have installed the DSC run time system.
The development computer has Windows XP and computer where I have the run time system has windows 7.
I tried the test executable computer and everything works properly unless the data record in the Citadel database and therefore fails also graphing data.
On The development computer I created 10 databases one for each machine that I control and all perfectly recorded and these data are then used to draw graphs. What I want is, that these same databases copied to the new computer, or create new ones with the same name and location on the new computer, In the way, to save data and can be used after.
I can't identify the problem and for this I need your help! Appreciate any information regarding the management of databases at run time.
What Would Ideal: create the same data bases in the new computer and it will start to save in these directly when you run the program ...
How Can I do this? is it possible?

Thank you very much for trying to help to me. Sorry, but is the first executable I create, and so I have some doubts.
What I want is, to create 10 databases in my development computer and then copy this databases to the deployment computer; that the executable point to this direction, and start logging data there when the EXE is runed.
I don't understand how can I setup the library or process to point to a relative database path. I tried to set up it dynamically with a start up VI, running it at the end of installation, but, after this, when I run the application EXE, the value of the database path returns to the firstly configured in the properties-> DSC settings: database dialog box, for each process in the deployment computer.
I need your help! As I said before, im not expert in this subject, so I´d appreciate so much if you can explain me step by step how to do this.

XSLT Mapping - problem with prefixes when calling template

I am having a problem with using an XSLT mapping in XI to combine various fields from 2 input messages of different structures into a single output message. I understand that XI puts a wrapper around the 2 input messages so the structure of the XML I am mapping is:

When testing the stylesheet locally with XMLSpy, it works fine, but I have just noticed that it adds information in the root tag of the target message as follows:
<(root of target message) xmlns:javamap="java:systemDate.CurrentDate" xmlns:ns="http://example.co.uk/example" xmlns:ns2="http://sap.com/xi/XI/SplitAndMerge">
I checked the root tag of the target message in XI and it does not automatically add this information. Thus I added it in my stylesheet so the information above is projected in the target message, but the same error message appears when the call template function is called. Do you know if I need to somehow add a namespace to templates other than the main one? If so, do you know how I go about doing that?

Problem with OData Collection in Template Customization Web IDE

Hi Experts,
I created my simple service in SEGW and I try use it in the application created in SAP Web IDE.
I'm creating new project from menu File, New, Project from Template. I'm choosing SAP Fiori Master Detail Application giving a name of project.
I have a problem with step 3rd - Data Connection and 4th - Template Customization. I can easily select the system (which previously plugged) and the service, but in the next step I have problem. In step fourth I can't add OData Collection for Master or Detail Section.
In my opinion my system is connected properly, because other (any) services allows me to choose a Odate Collection - including those created by me alone in SEGW.
I'll add that service which allow to choose OData Collection was created using BAPI. Service which are posing the problem was created from DDIC Structure, but I don't know if it's relevant. Furthermore, all services created by me have implemented the methods GET_ENTITYSET and GET_ENTITY.
Can You help me?

What's more, my service show data stored in collection dirrectly in browser at

Problem with execute job's in schedule

I have 88 job in workspace shedule, and a need to run them, but when I run together, I get the following problem with more than half of them:
"ERROR: Internal error.BIService could not be acquired! Submitting job Tasa de Asignacion to Event Service for Retry Processing. {3}"
I was thinking of separating, but I do not know when it ends as a block and make another start.
is possible to do this?

this error message shows that the jobs are failing and again put for retrying in the queue.
We can set a job limit which will ensure that only some number of job will run....I can give you further details if you can specify the version and also the error which is causing the job to fail

Strange problem with executing PL/SQL procedure from sqlplus.

basicly, I'm strugling with executing a procedure written in PL/SQL from sqlplus.
It's all because I convert a data in procedure by other function.

Function F_CONVERT_DATE looks more less like :

Well, the thing is that procedure is executable from TOAD without any errors !! But when I try to execute it straight from sqlplus it returns:
ORA-01861: literal does not match format string
ORA-06512: at "F_CONVERT_DATE", line 13
ORA-06512: at "NAME_OF_PROCEDURE", line 17
Tip: When I don't use functions ADD_MONTHS, NEXT_DAY and TO_CHAR in function F_CONVERT_DATE sqlplus can execute it. But only when I use them it returns an error.
Anybody has a clue how to solve it?

Avoid implicit conversions.
For example:
TO_CHAR(TRUNC(NEXT_DAY(ADD_MONTHS(substr(partition_name, -8, length(partition_name)), -3), 'MONDAY')-7), 'YYYYMMDD')ADD_MONTHS expects a DATE as its first argument.
SUBSTR returns a VARCHAR2, so you're calling ADD_MONTHS with a VARCHAR2 where it expects a DATE.
For good or ill, the system tries to avoid raising an error in this case by implicitly converting the VARCHAR2 to a DATE. Exactly how it does that depends on
(a) the tool you are using (SQL*Plus or Toad, for example),
(b) the version (Oracle 10 behaved quite different form Oracle 9),
(c) environmental settings (such as NLS_DATE_FORMAT), which in turn may depend on initialization parameneters, and
(d) who knows what else.
When you have to convert, do so explicitly.
You can convert a VARCHAR2 to a DATE using TO_DATE, like this:
TO_CHAR ( TRUNC ( NEXT_DAY ( ADD_MONTHS ( TO_DATE ( SUBSTR ( partition_name
                                                   , -8

Problem with parameters in Data Template

Hello,
I created some reports using the data template and didn't have any problems. I wanted to change the name of a couple of my parameters and now I can't get any data returned in my reports. If I remove the parameters data is returned or if I rename the parameters to something else data is returned. It seems like it has something to do with these two names of the parameters that I'm using that is causing the report not to run, but I have no idea why or where to even look.
Here is my example report:
With parameter names P_JUR and P_TAXYR my report runs without any problems.

I know it's getting my values because when I run the report I get this output:

I can change the parameter names to BOB, TOM, A, B, C, etc. and the report runs fine. It's just those two parameters JUR and TAXYR that do not work. I'm integrating this with another system which is why it's important is uses JUR and TAXYR. Anyone have any idea where to check or what I can check to see why it wouldn't work with only those two parameter names?

The extension data is not getting updated in CRM 4.0 while creating Order template.
The same extension data is getting updated for Order template change process.
Also same extension data is getting updated for CRM order creation.
Can any one put some lights on this issue ?
for both order and order template creation the below statement is used for holding the document.

Problems with check printing RTF template

To BI Publisher Gurus,
I am working on the check printing RTF template and facing a few issues with page breaks, filling the insufficient invoice lines with template and positioning of the table(s) itself inside the RTF template.
For page break, am using the following piece of code just before the end of all of my FE loops.

the $inner_group is my group for G_INVOICES to loop through all the invoices of a check in G_CHECKS group.
The problem I'm facing is, everytime a check is printed its printing a blank page in between. Searched all the earlier forum posts but none of the solutions worked in my case.
Second issue, for filling the insufficient invoice lines (in my case, am printing 26 invoices per page per check), the call to the blank lines template is repeating twice and found no way to get rid of it.
Third issue, if the check is running into a second page, the call to the blank lines template does not work and the position of the bottom part of check is getting misaligned.
I am ready to send my template and the sample XML file to look at. Thanks for your time and effort.

Also I have problem in generating dots(....) in the check where if total invoices lines are 37 and we have only one line of invoice then I have to generate 36 dots (.) in the invoice porition of the check..
