Problem with FLOW_EXCEL_OUTPUT not working anymore

Hi all,
I've just had a new problem crop up with AppEx where the export function for creating an excel file no longer works. I think that it's probably a lost permission issue, but I can't find the FLOW_EXCEL_OUTPUT function/procedure/package anywhere.
When I try to generate the csv outpout, I just get the error page that Page Cannot be Found.
Any ideas on where to start looking?

Thanks. Looking at the packages, PUBLIC already has eEXECUTE on WWV_FLOW, but not on WWV_RENDER_REPORT3. In a bit, I'll try to grant EXECUTE to PUBLIC on the above package and see if that gets it back working again.

Okay, I just granted EXECUTE to PUBLIC on WWV_RENDER_REPORT3 and the export to csv still doesn't work.
To clarify, let me specify that this is on Oracle 10gR2, AppEx ver. 2.0.0.00.49, and the pages are using the Report Export functionality of a report under the Report Attributes. At one time this was working fine, but several months ago I did upgrade the database from 10gR1 to 10gR2. I'm thinking something broke permission-wise at that time, but no idea where to look or how to fix it.

Document templates with reference not working anymore with CRM2007 on SP7

Since we upgraded our CRM system(v 2007) to SP7 we are facing a serious problem with our document templates. The document templates do not contain any reference anymore (e.g. BP name and address details). This issue is a showstopper for the SP upgrade to go live in production.
We have taken the following actions to get it work again but all without any success:
- We have regenerated the webservice again (CRMOST_GENERATION);
- Created the webservice again and generate it (CRMOST_GENERATION);
- Run CRMOST_GENSTATUS_MONITOR for correponding webservice: status OK
-> when debugging /CRMOST/Z_D007_READ I see in table LT_MESSAGES: "Invalid mainobject: GDCOIRoot
Also, we investigated SAP note: 1329961 and notes related to CRM-BF-COM in SAPKU70007.
It looks like a bug in the new programming. When using standard SAP mainobject GDCOI no reference is taking into account anymore.
To visualize the issue for you, I will describe for you the steps how we can reproduce the issue:
- Within Account ID we identify an account and confirm account;
- Now when we create a service ticket we can enter some additional information in fields;
- We save the ticket and select the "Create a new letter" icon and select a document template;
- Now Word with XML is openened but WITHOUT taking any reference from confirmed account and service ticket.
I can not imagine we are the only customer with CRM2007 on SP7 and is using document templates who is facing this issue.
I really would appreciate it if anyone could help us in any way.

I had the same problem and solved it by doing this 2 stepa:
1. Run report CRMOST_CREATE_PACKAGE, because after upgrade, package $WS_BOL_GEN is missing.
2. Run report CRMOST_GENERATION to generate webservice again.

Problem with PHP not working and Extra space in form I can't get rid of

This is my first time doing a form, much less using php. I would appreciate your help on the problems below.
1. in the form when you go to the website there is too much vertical spacing between the form fields.
2.the Message field has script inside that vistors can see.
3. on hitting the submit button it redirects me to a blank page and not the thankyou.html page that I had created.
4. the form doesn't send the email to [email protected]

The below should work for you.
As Jon points out the page has to be a .php page NOT a .html page.
The idea is that the page gets sent back to itself and the form information is processed then sent to the email address if there are no errors detected.
The unusual gaps in the form were being caused by unclosed tags amongst other things - hopefuly I put some of it right for you.
Copy all of the below and save it as contact.php - Obviously your server needs to support php for it to work, most do. I have not specified your email address in the php as it attracts spam from the forum so re-instate it where the xxxxxxx are.

Anyone else have a problem with tools not working?

With no particular cause, int he middle of working on things, tools like lasso tool, eraser, the brush or the clone stamp stop working.
The program will hang for a while and then I am able to switch tools, while using one particular tool at that time won't work. Until I restart photoshop.
Changing Open to GL of/on won't work, and it is not because of the autosave in the background.
Anyone with this same problem?

I am not sure if it's the same thing. I do get hangs when in the middle of editing. I haven't been able to pin it on any tool, selection, or function.
At first I thought it was because the splash screen for the beta hadn't come in and that made File>Open Recent unresponsive. It's as if the program doesn't really wake up until you get rid of the splash screen.
But that isn't it entirely because it happens during editing as well, long after the splash screen's gone. Suddenly, nothing responds--not tools, not menu items, not layers. It has happened with Topaz Plug Ins at least once, but the rest of the time it's been while working within Photoshop itself.
But photoshop didn't stop responding (according to the task manager), the cursor (whether mouse or stylus) still responds, no error messages, no crash. A little time goes by, then it responds again without exiting Photoshop, restarting, or anything else.
What I have noticed happens everytime I have this problem is that, if I just pressed a menu item (such as Layers, or File, or Edit) or a tool icon (such as the brush) it will remain in the selected position with either the darkened box around the menu item or the little outline around the tool). Now that I think of it, I think that the only common trigger is clicking on something. This can go on for as long as a couple of minutes, but it always resolves itself.
The only tool that might have choked during actual use is the lasso tool on polygonal mode. I just couldn't seem to make the next click.
I'm thinking now that it has something to do with saving in the background and--if that's the case--I'll live with it gladly. But it puzzles me because I think my system should be able to handle the extra memory involved in background saving.

Problems with VMWare Not Working on new MacBook

I am still learning on my first MacBook. I purchased VM Ware to run Windows and it work for several months very well. More recently I have noticed part of its' features don't work. I can no longer drag/drop file between the two systems and I also cannot open (with a right click) Word/Excel/Publisher files from Mac into VM Ware Fusion. So basically I cannot open any of my Window document files that are saved on my Mac anymore. This happened with an earlier version of VM Ware. Then I upgraded to new version 2 and it work fine again for about 2 weeks, not it doesn't just like before as I just said. I reloaded the latest update of VM Ware again and it did not resolve the issue. I am stumped as to why these features stop working as I have not changed any settings. Please help!!! It appears as if only some videos on YouTube will play using HTML5 and without Flash. For example, this video plays just fine for me and I do not have flash installed: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fxEWddT44BY
So, unfortunately, you will have to install flash or wait for YouTube to fix their website.
Also, one thing to try: When I had Flash installed and the "ClickToPlugin" Safari extension installed, YouTube would load all the movies in a simple HTML5 format. So no annotations or any other annoying stuff. Might be worth trying. You will have to install flash but, with the "ClickToPlugin" extension, you don't have to use Flash.

Problem with ssh_config not working

Hello. I have successfully set up an ssh connection to my work computer. I can access it with the following:
ssh -p 2222 [email protected]
I had ~/.ssh/config set up previously, but something got messed up. This is what ~/.ssh/config looks like now...
Host work
HostName xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
User username
Port 2222
I wanted to use a different port than 22 to cut break in attempts. Anyway when I try it I get the following:

OK, well it wasn't permissions, I had overlooked the ownership. Changing the ownership from root:staff to user:staff fixed my problem. I issue the following:
sudo chown user:staff ~/.ssh/config
Not sure if this is right, but it seems to have done the trick.

Problem with gmail not working with apple mail..

Hi,
i'm trying to set up a gmail account to the apple mail program on mac (still works in iphone and ipad). after many diffrent approaches,
i think i have all the right setnings. But i still cant connect to the google IMAP, both with or without SSL.
i guess perhaps that the problem could be within the google settings.
does anyone have another solution i could try?

it dosn't work.. have tried that at least 5 times..

Problems with HP4620 not working with other computers in the house

I purchased an HP 4620 for my home and it works great wirelessly with my Vista laptop. However, it does not show as an option for our desktop or our second laptop. Any ideas?

OS means Operating system , Windows 7 and Vista are Operating system's for desktop and laptop. You will have to install the drivers and then connect the printer ..this will finish the printer software installation and you will be able to just click on printkey and print.

Yes - I just posted a similar question, but I have a 5s with 7.0.3.
It is randomly operating itself, like someone is pressing random keys on the phone. It will do it for a little bit and then just stop on its own. If you touch the screen, it is unresponsive and then will randomly go crazy again.

Problems with javascript not working correctly, have firefox version 15.0.1. Javascript enabled in tools option. What else should I be looking at?

Certain websites do not load correctly, the webpage sometimes does not display. Upgraded to current version of Java, this did not solve the problem. The most blatant thing I noticed is that when I hit the plus button to open a new tab, the page that displays displays my nine most favorite websites, all nine have descriptions, but only two or three display the actual web page.
I also have hotmail and when I try to load some pages directly from the e-mail I get the message Javascript needs to be enabled.

Are you using any cleanup software like CCleaner that might cleanup the cache?
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

It may also have been part of the latest Jave Update for your OS, so you could try that.

Java Skin not working anymore

Yesterday I installed Mercury Messanger 1.8 (Java app) on my MacBook Pro 17. It works fine. Then I change the skin of Mercury to Mac OS X skin an now all my Java Appl doesn't work anaymore. The all have a gray background and are not able to display any fiels, button, line, etc. Only the large OS X Windows is display.
I deleted all the mercury stuff but this doesn't help me. Also I tried to start the Java Utilites in J2SE 5.0 like Java Preferences.app and Java Cache Viewer.app but this will not work either
Is their a way to get it work? Who has experienced the same problem
App thet doesn't work are Limewire, JBidWatcher

I have had to periodically delete and re-enter my fingerprint. The last update (7.1) may have improved that. You can delete by going to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode, enter your passcode and then tap "Turn Passcode Off" and then go back to the same area, put a passcode back on and then a fingerprint.

Thanks, for info, iPod Classic is a slower machine compared the Nano, unfortunately, if you read these discussions, majority of the freezes involved iTunes 10. Although if might be just slow and some impatient user just disconnect the iPod ands cause more problems. ( Yes I also did that but safely by doing a iPod Hard Reset, before disconnecting).

Antivirus has a tendency to freeze iTunes sync Operation with iPod Classic, causing a timeout, which corrupt your iPod filesystem, so when iTunes can't read the iPod, it is pointing to this problem. Other causes is when your iPod hardisk is dying, or your battery is dying causing hardisk crashes.
My suggestion.
Connect your iPod to the PC and run chkdsk, to fix any iPod diskerror, then disconnect it, after chkdsk complete.
Disconnect your PC from Internet. (just to make sure no nasties creep into your system while you syncing.
Stop the Antivirus program
Connect your iPod to the PC, using a high speed USB 2.0 port at the back of your PC, do not use any USB Hub.
When iTunes Open up, Restore your iPod please, this is for iTunes to map correctly, to fix the corrupted filesystem.
When Restore complete, eject the iPod and reconnect again.
Sync your ipod, preferably manually Manage in small batches and disconnect after every batch, to check that all is well.
When all sync is complete, and iPod disconnected, start back your Antivirus and connect back the Internet.
