Problem with forms 5.0 and Controls Active X OCX

I need help about a OCX in a form made in Developer Forms 5.0.
The control connects a SQL Server Data Base , and when I use it in Microsoft Power Point it works good, I can see parameters
and what ever, but when I attach it
in a form in Developer Forms 5.0 it connects
the dataBase but I can't work with parameters
If any one knows about this, please help me!!

You have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
Pages 5 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
Anything that is saved to iCloud is also converted to Pages 5 files.
All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
Note: Apple has removed over 100 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

Archive/trash Pages 5, after exporting all Pages 5 files to Pages '09 or Word .docx, and rate/review it in the App Store, then get back to work.
I hope you kept a backup copy of your original book as a Pages '09 document because Pages 5's changes once saved are permanent.

First, try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose data by resetting.
If this does not help, set it up as new device, explained here:

Problem with Forms 6, Word and OLE Containers

Forms 6.0.8.24.1, RDBMS 8.1.7.0.0 on Win 2000 Pro SP3
I have a form which has an OLE Container based on a LONG RAW database column. I use the form to save Microsoft Word documents in the database.
Some documents are not retrieving correctly in the Form. When activating the OLE container nothing happens. The OLE Container displays the MS Word icon and there is data in the database as I can retrieve it using java.
Anybody have any ideas on this. Unfortunately it's not an isolated case.

You call a function which returns a table-type, but read the value in one number-item? Why does the function return a table-type then?
Also, instead of using a SELECT, you could simply call the function in your code, like:

Problem with Oracle external procedures and Microsoft Active Directory

Hi,
Our server was recently updated to use Microsoft Active Directory. However, we noticed that all external procedure calls keeps on failing with ORA-28575: unable to open RPC connection external procedure agent. Everything was working fine before we migrated to Active Directory which is why we can say that the listener is configured correctly.
Any idea on how we can make extproc calls with Active Directory?

Oracle Forms does support Single Sign-On (SSO). Take a look at Oracle Containers for J2EE Security Guide: OC4J Java Single Sing-On. Also take a look at the Oracle Forms 10g Sample Code and scroll to the SSO demo under the Forms Services Demo section. There are also, numerous other documents available via Google. ;-)

Problems with SCM server 10g and Forms Developer 6i&9i

I installed SCM server 10g and try to use it with Forms developer 6i and 9i. The connection to the server works ok but when I choose the container from Source Control Options to check in forms they always go one level higher in the container hierarchy. With Forms developer 10g it is working fine. What might cause this?

You are missing one key piece of information from your email - the error message that you got.
can you specify what was the error number?
Once you have this number I'll suggest that you look it up on the online documentation of the database available on otn (just do a search on OTN with the error number).

CS3 still had issues with the preferences becoming corrupt, so a possible workaround would be to reset the preferences.
The file is called AIPrefs and is located under 'Documents and Settings/User/Application Data/Adobe/Adobe Illustrator CS3 Settings'. It is a hidden file. Delete it with Illustrator closed and when you launch the program again the file will be rebuilt.
May be it is also sounds like you need more memory for your computer. If you can navigate to your computer's memory controls, and allow your operating system to use a portion of your hard disk drive (HDD) as RAM (maybe 2Gb or so) it may solve your issue.

If I use Panel Label and Message element then I need to copy LABEL from input text element to Panel Label and Message element LABEL PROPERTY. Can I define in View object that I don't need label and want all attributes in Panel Label and Message element?

I think that most people who cannot resolve problems with the VZW have an attitude problem.
Wise saying: you can get more with honey than with vinegar.
Since I “upgraded” my old Samsung Sway to a new Samsung Intensity III, in the past three weeks I spent many hours dealing with the VZW store employees, customer service reps, and tech support people. The phone was replaced two times, and I had no problem getting the replacements.
The third phone did not working how I expected.
Today I called VZW customer service and said I don’t need anymore trouble shooting and I wanted find a resolution, which will be satisfactory to both of us. After a short conversation with a customer service rep, I was connected with a tech support. I told him that I don’t need any more trouble shooting on the Samsung Intensity III because I already spent HOURS doing that on three devices.
We spoke about what the VZW could offer me, about replacements with different phones, etc. Our conversation ended with me offering the resolution that could satisfy me, which was to keep this phone and my account will be credited for the $30.00 “upgrade” fee and I will buy Samsung Sway on eBay. NO PROBLEM.
My account was credited and I was advise about the ESN number and activation.
Why I had no problems with the VZW employees and other people have? The answer is simple. I did not have attitude when I was spoke to them.
So if you want the problem to be resolved, put your anger in you pocket before you start the conversation. You can say that you are angry, frustrated, etc like I did, but add that you understand that this is not their fault that the manufactures makes a crap phones.
