Problem with GT780R BIOS 30C

My problem is after i upgrade my BIOS to 30c version, in my computer it can show any mobile HDD although on the Equipment and printer it show that the system did detect that the mobile HDD are plug in. I have already try the 10c version, but it didn't work on my computer,it just lead to no operating system find. so how can i solve this problem???? By the way the mobile drive can work on other computer. ANY one can provide me the previous BIOS for 1761 Raid system ???

Hello and thank you for coming to see the problem I had with my laptop, that seems to fix the problem so far, I hope q not refreeze operating system again, and I could restore the BIOS to version in which was when purchased.
If anyone has the same problem as I leave then follow these steps:
1.Find BIOS version with which acquired the laptop
2. Use of mnetodo booted by CD.
3. Insert the CD from the boot.
4. Upon resumption of the program ran hidden PC (that I saw no message)
5. After restart, windows restart again and enter the bios to see if it had changed the version of this and it turned out was successful.
Well I hope this problem the laptop again, and thank you for deigning to read at least my problem.

I'm having problems with downgrading my bios from version 4.3 to 1.19. I want to downgrade, because 4.3 doesn't want to boot when I use xmp settings for my RAM ( that might be related to my CPU since I have i5 2500k which is 32nm and 4.3 version of BIOS is recommended for 22nm processors ). When I try to flash with the MSI Forum HQ USB Flashing Tool I'm getting an error: "Rom file ROMID is not compatible with existing BIOS ROMID". I've ran out of ideas how to downgrade my bios so I'm asking you for help. My specs:
MOBO: MSI P67A-GD65 (B3)
CPU: INTEL CORE i5 2500K
RAM: G.SKILL RIPJAWS X 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1600MHZ CL6 (F3-12800CL6D-4GBXH)

Problem with updating bios toshiba satellite l655-s5144

Hello first of all having a good day, four months ago a problem with my laptop toshiba satellite l655-5144 I have something crazy ,happens that when starting Windows 7/8 freezes there and I can not access windows, I thought it was an error of hdd, but I think I'm surprised that it is not, since changing the hdd and still gives the same problem of being paralyzed in Home windows, all this began to update the BIOS to version 2.8 that turned out to be the operating profit that was for windows 8, not sure if this is due to the problem but I've tested the ram, hdd, cpu, etc and everything about the hardware works well and gives no problems, I think that the problem was caused by updating the BIOS to version 2.8, my question is whether you can return to the factory version was 2.2, or at least the previous version to 2.8 which was the one I worked thanks for your answers and spend time helping me, is the agradesco much.

K8N Neo2: Another problem with the BIOS 1.9

I flashed my K8N Neo2 with the BIOS 1.9, I lost the MAC address of the NVIDIA NIC. I fixed the problem reflashing the BIOS with the /nvmac:XXXXXXXXXXXX /wb options. Loaded the default settings and set the boot priority, the new BIOS is unable to boot from my Adaptec 19160 SCSI controller: it try always to boot to the NVIDIA NIC. It seems that the NVIDIA NIC has a higher boot priority than other external boot devices and it's impossible to change it.
The settings are:
First boot divice: Floppy
Secind boot device: Hard-Disk
Third boot device: CD-Rom
Hard disk boot priority:
1. Adaptec SCSI
2. NV RAID
3. Other boot device
I reflashed the BIOS with the old 1.8 and now the system works well ...

X100e problems with the BIOS update

Hello, this is my first message and my english is not so good.
I have a problem on my X100e to make a BIOS update.
I download the newest update from Lenovo and burn a CD.
At next i boot from this CD with the X100e and the update starts.
But after a few second comes the message the file is damage.
So i try this with different update versions, but it is still the same result.
My BIOS version now is 1.04
What is my mistake?

Problems with the BIOS clock

Hey,
I`ve just purchased the MSI 875P mainboard. The board is running smoothly with bios version 1.4, but there is this small and anoying problem; The bios clock will not work. I set the time and date in the bios and when I go back in five minutes later the time and date are exactly the same.
Anyone else have this problem and is there a sollution for this?

MSI K7N2G overclock problem with new bios

I recently purchased a Radeon 9800 Pro and since then ive had nothing but problems.
Firstly the machine would randomly not bot, requiring many resets to get the video to initialise.
Also games would randomly CTD.
I found out that the MSI NForce 2 MB doesnt like Radeon cards and that it should be fixed in the latest bios updates.
I was using version 3.5 so decided to upgrade to the 3.9 version (very latest, it seems the board updates have stopped now)
Problems now begin :'(
I rest the bios after flashing and went in to set all the settings to exactly what they were before.
My old settings were:
1/1 memory (dual channel enabled)
175x12.5 Cpu (overclocked xp1700)
All other settings were maxed out including the memory timings.
This ran absolutetly 100% perfect for about 8 months until I installed the radeon and flashed the bios.
Now I can not even approach these settings.
If I attempt to run 1/1 memory speed (manual config) the machine makes single long beeps and doesnt initialise the display.
After trying different settings I managed to completly incap the board.
I only managed to fix it by installing my old GF3Ti 200(it then booted straight away)
It would not boot with the radeon even after 20 bios resets (removing battery etc etc)
Im now stuck with a machine that underperforms by 20% compared to the old bios.
Is there any reason why I can no longer overclock anywhere near the level I was before? (350mhz memory before >> now 266MAX!)
Please help before I am forced to spend another 80 quid (I cant afford) on the Abit NF7-S

Buy the ABIT and save us the woes of rehashing this issue out with you as we've done with so many others now...what I believe that MSI did was loosen or tighten the specs to allow the Radeon to work with the MB but this is speculation on my part only...the initialization of the Radeons to date has been intermittent for most and non-existent for others...Glennvidia bought a 9800 a while back and had the same types of issues everyone else had just so that he could "see" for himself what the problems were...well he had problems and ended up returning the Radeon and left it at that, but he and I learned alot about it and came to the conclusion that for whatever reason MSI didn't hit the sweet spot for Radeon cards with their rendition of the nf2 chipset motherboard. It's a sad conclusion to make but if you went out and bought 3 to 5 MSI nf2 MB's and same for the Radeons I bet you'd find a combo that works together, maybe not flawlessly, but it'd work. There are some people on the forums here that have this combo and it does work flawlessly for them and they're really quite happy. They should also feel lucky about it as well because it wasn't the norm...
What you might do at this point is a search on this forum for Radeon and read the posts that you find regarding the issues and try some of the fixes that were posted and see if any of them work for you...this is a VERY talked about issue and left a very bad taste in a lot of mouths about who the users have blamed for the combo not functioning together...hell, who knows? It could be something Radeon did in their design and not MSI's design flaw at all...without extensive testing and documentation who is anyone to say who's "fault" it is?
In any case, I feel badly for you that it's not worked out the way you wanted it to and I hope that your next adventure into PC building goes better...

Problems with Middleton BIOS?

I installed Middleton bios 1.24 with sata-II support on my R61 because i upgraded to an Atheros 300 mbit wlan card.
I am not sure if this is the reason for my video problems now. For example youtube videos greater than 720p are very jerky. Also scrolling in the browser (IE oder Firefox) is sometimes jerky. And scrolling big images is jerky. I reinstalled win7 with all the newest drivers and updates, but it doesn't help.
Is there also a middleton bios that only disables the whitelisting and does not do all the other things? Maybe i could try and see if that helps.

Welcome to the forum!
I've installed Middleton BIOS in my own R61i and in a bunch of *61 machines and none of them got slower or jerky...
That bios removes the wlan whitelist, thermal sensor error for some CPU generations and also removes the SATA-I bottleneck speed, something very handy when you're using an SSD.
If I remember correctly, Youtube uses flashplayer plug in for playing videos. Maybe you need to update it. I would also give it a try with google Chrome, since it has a built-in flash client.

K7N2 Problem With New Bios?

I Updated My K7N2(2650) Bios Version From 3.30 To 3.40.
I Own An AIthlon 2400+ Xp/266Mhz With A Thermaltake Volcano 7 Cooler Support.
Before Updating I Had A Minimum Cpu Temperature Of 50.C But After The Update I Have A Minimum Cpu Temperature Of 30.C!!!
Did Anyone Noticed Anything Or The Same Strange Thing As Me When Updating The Bios Version???

P67A-GD65 problem with newest BIOS - no fan control settings.

After instaling newest version (V1.16) of BIOS I cant find fan control settings (2 chasis fans + % of cpu fan). Theres only smart cpu target temp. and nothing else.
is this some sort of bug, or MSI lost their minds?
Oh, and CPU phase LED's are blinking like mad (those were not blinking at all before).

Flash back to your previous BIOS and report your finding to MSI.

I found Alex on Corsairs forum. He was running BIOS 1.3 down from 1.9
He Was comiserating with me. I asked if he had tried 2.0. He came back after upgrading to 2.0 using settings below.
He said he was rocking and running really fast and stable for the first time. He was really really happy!!!

Memory problems with my a215?

Hi, for more than a year i bought (unfortunately) an a215-4817, and since that day i am having anything else but problems. Now i am having problems with the memory i think. At first my laptop freezed, keyboard was not responding or came out those famous blue screens. In all cases i must shutdown the computer pressing down the power button for a few secs, after that when i tried to start it again didnt do anything, i could only hear the fan working, some disk reading noise but the screen was off and never went on and show me at least the toshiba logo. The only way i had to fix this was first taking the battery out and pressing the power button for more than 10 secs. Later, i had to take both memory modules out besides the battery. At that moment i came to the windows event viewer and see some "WHEA-logger" warnings that talk about "TLB erros", "bus or interconection error" and ''Hierarchy memory error". Today the only way i can boot up my computer is using only one memory module placed on the first slot. That is the reason i am using it with only 1GB. I am really lost with this, run a lot memory tests ( microsoft Vista has one and Memtest+86 that comes in Ubuntu CD) and any of them trow me some error.
Might have broken the memory controller of slot 2?or maybe something with the dual channel controller? can be a problem with the bios? i have version 2.0, never gave me problem but could it be corrupt? I have tried to reinstall it but the installer hasnt the option to reinstall, where can i download the old version and install it again so i can reinstall de versiin 2.0?. And my last question is if somebody knows where to toshiba should i write to tell them how mad i am with them, this laptop was the worst thing i have ever bought, and their customer service in latin america (i am from argentina) is terrible.
So if somebody have any idea of what the problem could be, i will be grateful. Sorry about my english.

You have a really good unit mobo wise to utilize. With those initial problems you should have taken it to an authorized service provider and have unit checked out. Be that as it may-why you took out the memory modules is beyond me, and yes it is feasible that damage to the board housing or module may have occurred. Look at the module(s) and see if you observe cracks in the gold thread or board crack, especially where the split notch is. Suggest that you recheck the seating of the memory module until you hear a click noise. Check within the housing area for a small sinle cable and ensure if there it is connected.

A corrected hardware error occurred.
Error Source: Corrected Machine Check
Error Type: Memory Hierarchy Error
TLB = translation lookaside buffer, part of the MMU used to perform virtual mapping). Machine check errors are hardware errors - this error is telling you that the CPU detected a hardware error but was able to correct it. This is not a good sign - check temperatures and voltages. Disabling windows reporting of machine check errors will simply ignore the problem - it will still exist! (and its highly likely that if you are getting correctable errors you are also getting uncorrectable errors sometimes).
Too resolve: Locate the Recovery disc and reset to factory specs, with a backup of all items you wish to save before attempting.
