Problem with (hash)LOGO(hash)

Hi,
I have set up the #LOGO# for my application and it works fine in templates.
Is there any way to access this in a region or item?
I have tried a few different things, and it won't work.
Otherwise I'll just have to create a new custom template.

Hi,
While I'm on the subject, I have 11 substitutions in my application.
But the view apex_application_substitutions only has 10 records for my application.
The last one on the list is missing.
This is not a case of a new record not being saved, this has been in the application for months.
Any Ideas?

We have some problem with printing.
While testing the print output for billing we are experiencing some problems. Every thing in the layout looks fine in the print preview but when i take a print out in my local printer , i see the client logo comes upside down and some lines are missing .
Can some body suggest me how to correct the same.

We have checked the printer earlier also and seems to be fine.
Aditional info:
1) We are getting this problem while printing Billing from "VF01" transaction.
2) In this also we have two invoice numbers given by functional guy out of which in for one we are getting the problem that "lines of the first box are not printing" and for second "logo is coming inverted & lines of the first box are not printing"

SAPScripts: Problem with displaying Logo

Hi,
I have created a SAPScript with a logo window embedded into it. I used transaction SE78 to upload the image.
My query:
The image does not fit into the window and it is overlapping on the other windows. Is that something to do with the DPI or the image size(Width X Height)?
I think the image should automatically be adjusted in the window.
Can you please guide me on this?

Hi,
Don't change the dimensions using MS-PAINT, instead use the Batch Converter.
You can download this converter using link:-

Decrease the DPI of the image and then try uploading it.
What I would suggest is to convert this image to TIFF Image file and then upload the new TIFF image to a TEXT OBJECT using report RSTXLDMC

Problems with Hasher.bat (SWF Whitelisting)

Hi,
I have been investigating an issue with a customer no longer being able to generate a SWF hash for whitelisting.
I have traced it to _how_ I build the SWF.
If I build the SWF with Flash Builder 4.6, Hasher.bat works perfectly. If I import the exact same code project into Flash Builder 4.7, Hasher.bat fails with an error. (See below.)
Obviously, I want to submit a bug report somewhere, but I can't find the appropriate bugbase so to do.
Please can somebody direct me?

Are you saying you are using non-default compiler in Flash Builder?
I am saying that I keep my Flash Builder updated with the latest build of AIR and the latest compiler because a) there are always bugs and b) there are massive performance gains in so doing. Case in point being the several-fold decrease in compilation time that only became available with AIR 4 and the -useLegacyAOT argument, released very recently indeed.

No. it is Flash Builder 4.7 downloaded from Adobe Creative Cloud.
Can you try to build your app with Flex 4.6.0?
The issue is not the Flex SDK - I am using Flex 4.6.0 for my Flex projects, but I am using AIR 4.0.0.1628 for my AIR projects because it is massively better, offers massively faster compilation times and fixes any number of irritating bugs of earlier AIR SDKs... Oh, and, it contains various features that are essential to be able to actually release any piece of software I make as it will meet the requirements of Apple etc where the (outdated) version of AIR that ships with FB does not.
Neither moving back to an earlier release of AIR nor moving back to Flash Builder 4.6 are possible as both would mean a drastic loss of function and dividing up my code-base so as to be unable to share significant libraries of code between projects.
And, do you really need to compress your swf with LZMA compression?
Unless you can show me a compiler argument in Flash Builder that will get it to do anything else, then yes I do. That is the default behaviour for -compress=true in Flash Builder with the most current AIR and compiler. Using -compress=false is not an option as it knocks my SWF from 250KB (which is acceptable) up to 750KB (which is not acceptable). We looked at the license cost of third-party zipping tools and they were coming in at approximately $300 in order to generate a file of 325KB - in other words, we would be taking on a costly license to do something that we can already do, only not as well... The other option is to home-cook an AIR desktop app to do the zipping / compression after the fact.
I have not opted to do any specific form of file compression, this is what the default is for the compiler that was released by Adobe. I have not set any special compilation parameters. I have not done anything other than keep my development tools up to date with the latest release from Adobe.
It seems to me that this is an Adobe issue and it is one that should be exceptionally easy for Adobe to fix, where it is neither easy nor cheap for your customers to fix.
I very much doubt that I am the only Flex / Flash developer who keeps his tools up to date and I anticipate that there will be more calls for you to resolve this if you do not resolve it now.

Problem with printing logo in smartform.

We have a logo in a window, its working fine in print preview, however while printing the page data ,other than logo is comming fine on printout , but logo is not comming fine. Logo is comming like one black vertical strip on left side of page. Even if i used standard Logo like ENJOY , same problem is comming. Please please give solution.

The the problem is with printer drivers thats what i think....Please ask you SAP Basis guys to work on it..Tell them logos are not printed correctly....Please do the config and install the driver for the same.

When u r sayin 'document its all black' do u mean that the background of image is appearing black or it is completely black nothing is displayed?
I had faced similar problem in smartform,where i was gettin grey background of the logo...
For this, you need to edit the logo image first. open the logo image in ms paintbrush and save it as 256 color bitmap image. now upload this bitmap in sap using tcode se78.
Now use this logo......

Interlace problem with psd. logo.......

I added a small logo to my project. It is a psd file and it has tearing or interlace problems.
I tried to add a de-interlace filter on it---didt'n work
I added a gaussian blur to it and it didn't look good.
What is the right way to correct the interlace issue?

Where are you rendering? If in FCP, click on the clip in the timeline, type ⌘9 and change the Field Dominance to None.

I use this feature many times a week at home and at work... one thing to check is to see if your Apple TV and your iPad (gen 2+) are on the same wifi network. AirPlay only works when the devices are connected to the same network. You may also want to check to make sure that AirPlay is turned on on your Apple TV. If this still is not solving your issue, I would then look to your network settings, not all networks will support such sharing features.

Problem with logo image

I build an application for a client with apex installed on database 11g with gateway.
All works fine but I've got a problem with the logo image.
here is what I have done:
1. upload the image header-logo.gif in shared component and I have associated this image to the application (note : the same thing happens when the image is not associated to the application).
2. the logo is defined by #APP_IMAGES#header-logo.gif
3. I run the application. and the image is displayed (ok)
4. At a time, I don't know really when, the image is not displayed anymore in the pages and when I go back to the images in shared component, the image is there but not displayed.
I think it could come from the gateway because on my machine I use an http server and I don't have the problem. But I can be wrong.
Does anybody have an idea ?

How about using
[img src=#WORKSPACE_IMAGES#&P2_PIC_NAME. width=100]
to access your image.
If you can not get it working search for images on this forum.

Problems to export logo in PDF

I have a problem to export a logo logo.bmp to pdf in a web application designer 7.0
Source XHTML is:

If I execute the WAD logo appears in the screen. But when I press print button to export the document to PDF format the logo does not appear.
Can you help please?

If there is no loading bar, it's usually a problem with a third party kext file in OS X itself.
You can press the power button down to force a hardware shutdown, then reboot holding the shift key down on a wired or built in keyboard, this will disable them and you go around and update your third party software.
Gray, Blue or White screen at boot, w/spinner/progress bar
Also take this time to backup your users files off the machine if possible.

Facing problem with logo in the PDF attachment when sending mail...

hi friends,
i'm facing problem with logo in the PDF attachment to the mail.
my requirement:
1. enter spool number and mail id in the selection screen.
process:
1. now the program will fetch the spool data and converts it to PDF.
2. but when i'm trying to send mail with this PDF as attachment.
when i open the PDF file from the mail, logo is not coming properly (looks disturbed).
can anyone help me how to resolve this issue...

Welcome to the Apple Community.
The Apple TV 2 doesn't show up under devices like the Apple TV 1, to send video and music to the Apple TV you need to use the Airplay Option which appears in the lower right corner of iTunes.
