HI, I just bought Photoshop CS5 and I have a problem with HDR pro . when I am trying to mount 3 images together it act in a strange way ( the images appear and disappear many times) then when the window with the result appear and I say ok it open up in photoshop as a single image ( in the layers there is just 1 photo) and when I am trying to work it up with the Plug in/filter HDR Effex Pro (Nik softwear) a pop up window appear saying that the file is missing and the operation it is not possible. This is normal operation. The output from HDR pro does not produce a layered file. You make all your adjustments in the Nik Plug-in. Once Nik has finished you then make any rinal changes in Photoshop. Trying to use NIK again on the image in Photoshop is not the way to do this.
When HDR pro comes up do you see all the presets and controls? Presets on the left and controls on the right

Problem with pdf chrome viewer and javascript

I have a problem with chrome pdf viewer. We have created a form with acrobat 9 pro, this form contains a javascript. When the form is printed or saved the javascript checks that all the mandatiry fields are completed and displays a message if some fields are uncompleted. The chrome pdf viewer doesn't display the warning message when the form is saved, and doesn't display the check box included in the warning message pop up to confirm that the user accepts to print the form. The control is correct with FF et IE

There are many PDF viewers. Adobe's, third party downloads, things that come with systems (Apple Preview, Microsoft 8 Reader), things built into browsers (Chrome, Firefox...) Adobe's software understands the full set of JavaScript. Some ignoresJavaScript altogether. Some do selected JavaScript. This is a bit of a mess, but nothing can be done about it EXCEPT that you can demand your users use Adobe Reader. Whether they actually will depends on how important your needs are to them.

Hi,
This is due to some files missed in Local development.
Let me know Are you able to see <b>.confdef, .syncdb</b> and <b>buildvariant.config </b> files under Local Developement.
If you are not able to see, UnInstall your NWDS, Remove Local developement under .dtc folder, then Re-Install NWDS.

Your setup might be incomplete: The SAR file extraction creates very long paths on your filesystem. If you do not extract to the rootfolder of disk, chances are the paths become too long and the installation exits, without any warning.
If this is not the cause of your problem, check if the .dcdef files for the local DCs (plugin com.sap.tc.ap if I'm correct) were copied during installation.

I know OSX 10.9 Mavericks introduced a power saving feature called App Nap which is meant to slow down applications that it determins are inactive (or when minimized). This would mostly likely cause problems if you're dynamically linking After Effects comps to your timeline or sometimes exporting to Media Encoder.
Try disabling App Nap for all your Adobe App files...
Go to your Applications folder
Go into individual Adobe app folders (ie. Adobe Premiere Pro CC)
Right-click on the Adobe app file (ie. Adobe Premiere Pro CC.app) and select Get Info
When the info window opens up, add a checkmark beside "Prevent App Nap"
Restart the application
This fixed all my performance issues.

Problem with the crystal viewer

Hi there,
I have a problem with thw crystal viewer. I have reports developped in Crystal XI that run in vb.net within the "CrystalDecision.Windows.Forms.CrystalReportViewer" object. On all computer client everything works fin except on one of them. When the print button is pressed, it gave a "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error. Since this error is raised by the "Crystal report windows form viewer" preview window i have no idea why this occured. We tried to uninstall the viewer and reinstall it without chance.
The only thing i can tell is that this client use a "HP deskjet 3420 series" printer. that's the only difference there is on this computer. Anyone as an idea?

Hi Ben,
Try moving that printer to another PC and install the print driver. If it fails there it's likely a driver issue. HP and Cr has a history of problems. Mostly it's HP drivers returning the wrong memory structure size.
If you can find someone who is using Windows XP and Windows 2003 and see if either work. Or possibly plug the printer ina print server and see if that works.
Next option is if you wrote the software you are running run it in debug mode and see if it captures anything when printing. If did not write it then ask the person who did to test it also.
Next option if you want to dig deeper into the cause is go to Windows site and download a program called DebugDiag. Run this program and set it to capture crashes. It will generate a dump file which can be analyzed. It should tell you which API or function caused the crash.

Problems with Standard Apps views (eBusiness Suite)

I am working with Oracle Application Express and Oracle eBusiness Suite 11.5.10. We have integrated OAE with EBS, but now we are having problems with the standard views (owner APPS).
I would need the help from somebody that works with OAE and EBS.
Once we want to query one of the standard views, like ap_invoices, it is necessary to initialize the session with a script like this:

This script lets us to access to the data from the table AP_INVOICES_ALL using the view AP_INVOICES.
Once I have run the script from SQL Commands (SQL Workshop), I try to run a query using the standard view, for example:
SELECT * FROM apps.ap_invoices
From a Report or from SQL Commands (SQL Workshop) always I get the next error:
"ORA-01722: invalid number."
However, if I run this query from SQL Plus (same db user), there is any problem, the query works and retrieves rows.
If I get the source code of the view, remove all the columns, keeping the next SQL:
SELECT 1
FROM ap.AP_INVOICES_ALL
WHERE NVL(ORG_ID,NVL(TO_NUMBER(DECODE(SUBSTRB(USERENV('CLIENT_INFO'),1,1),' ',NULL,SUBSTRB(USERENV('CLIENT_INFO'),1,10))),-99)) = NVL(TO_NUMBER(DECODE(SUBSTRB(USERENV('CLIENT_INFO'),1,1),' ',NULL,SUBSTRB(USERENV('CLIENT_INFO'),1,10))),-99)
Run this SQL in OAE and I obtain the error again, however from SQL Plus the query works correctly.
I suppose somebody that works this EBS and OAE has had this problem. How did you solve it?

Luis - I don't know where you are running these blocks - the SQL Command Processor in APEX? Anyway, for every APEX page request the engine executes something like the following, depending on your version:    begin

    end;In the above code, the value of g_user is the logged-in username, perhaps ADMIN in your case.
Keep in mind that when you do a set_client_info in the database session, that persists only for the duration of the session. On the next page request, you'll get a new database session (or a recycled one).

A simple thing like leaving the project idle for about 15 minutes, you come back and find that it has frozen. Also if you drag out a clip on the timeline you will find that the whole application freezes. Any possible solutions would be much appreciated.

If I install the update to Adobe Reader 10, will that cause problems with Acrobat Pro 9?

Firefox (version 15.0.1) is telling me I need to install an update to Adobe Acrobat 9.4 in order to view pdf files in my browser. I use Acrobat Pro 9. The update is actually Adobe Reader 10, and I am wondering if I install this, will it cause problems with my version of Acrobat Pro?
Because I am not sure if this is so, I have temporarily disabled the plug-in and now pdf files download automatically rather than display in my browser. I would prefer they open in my browser but do not want to upgrade to Acrobat X.
My OS is Windows Vista. I did not include the "troubleshooting information" file because I'm not sure what specific info is being requested.

Problem Processing HDR Pro in CS5

When selecting my photos for HDR processing from Bridge, by going to tools, Photoshop, Merge to HDR Pro and making my adjustments there, everything seems normal. When I click on "OK" and waiting, the photo comes up in PhotoShop as a completely black image. The "background" layer is of course also black, but when the layer first appears there is a quick glimpse of the photo before going black. There is a slider at the very bottom left hand corner of PhotoShop that is set about 1/3rd or a little more from the left . Just to the right of the slider is an arrow and when clicked, it says "32 bit exposure", which is checked, along with other selections. Upon moving the slider to the right, the photo gradually appears in photoshop, but the layer still stays completely black. Upon adjusting the slider to get the correct exposure and then trying to "save as" the image, I only have a few choices instead of the normal large selection. TIFF is one selection, but JPEG is not. Upon Saving as a 16 bit TIFF, I do not have the option to open the file in Camera Raw.
In Scott Kelby's Photoshop CS5 book, in the HDR chapter it shows a screen-shot of PS and the photo after clicking the OK button. In the screen shot, there is no slider in the very bottom left of PS, but it states "exposure works in 32 bit only" in the same area of where my slider is located.
This process was working correctly originally, but started acting this way about 2 or 3 weeks ago. My thinking is that I have changed a setting somewhere that is causing this problem, but I can't seem to locate where. Would anyone out there have a solution to this very frustrating problem? There is a Radius, Strength, Gamma, Exposure, Detail, Shadow, Highlights, Vibrance, Saturation and Curves Controls.
In that case you've told MergeToHDR to go to 8 or 16 bit and are not creating an HDR image.
Then you won't have the exposure slider or any choice of whitepoint.
You only get the whitepoint choice when creating an HDR image (32 bit/channel).
You might want to spend some time reading the manual about how MergeToHDR works.
Merge to HDR. Mine says Merge to HDR Pro....would that make a difference somehow?
Same thing.
And ACR can't open 32 bit/channel floating point images.
