Problem with HP 3600n Color Laserjet Printer and new HP Notebook Running 64 bit Win7

I have a new HP notebook (dv7t-6100) with Core-i7 Processor, running 64 bit Windows 7 with all of the latest updates.
I also have a 27" iMac with Core-i7 Processor running 64 bit Windows 7 underneath Parallels 7. Parallels is a program that creates a virtual machine underneath Mac OSX.
Both versions of 64 bit Windows 7 work perfectly . . . EXCEPT, neither will print from my HP 3600n Color Laserjet. The iMac will print to the 3600n in OSX mode, and an earlier version of 32 bit Windows 7 under Parallels printed perfectly with this 3600n printer.
These facts prove that the printer is OK, the connection is OK. However, the 64 bit Windows 7 systems do not print.
In both of the 64 bit Windows 7 installs I allowed Windows to find and download the HP driver for this printer. Install of the driver was apparently successful. Still no printing.
One strange fact: Sometimes when I turn the computer off, the 3600n printer will print the items that had been in the queue before powering down. That is the only time it has printed anything . . . except under OSX on the iMac.
Does anyone know if there is a basic problem with 64 bit Windows 7 and this printer ?

I just had the same problem with my MacBook Pro using 10.5.5 After trying a number of things, the following worked. (not sure what specifically ... just did this combination)
1. Had the Apple store Genius Bar folks install the latest HP drivers.
2. Restart computer
3. Restart the HP Color LaserJet 3600
4. Connected the HP printer and MacBook Pro directly into a switch, so the wireless was not an issue (both machines had IP addresses set and computer's was set to DHCP with manual IP).
5. Instead of using the System Preference printing and fax tool, I started Text Edit, typed something and said "print".
Print window came up and said "no printer selected"
6. I clicked on the drop down so it would look for printers.
7. It found the HP Color LaserJet 3600.
8. I clicked on the name of the printer and the computer went out and found the driver
9. I clicked on "Add" and it added the printer.
10. I tried a couple of test prints in different programs.
11. I disconnected the hard wired ethernet cables and set the computer to be on the wireless.
12. I printed a few more test prints in various programs.
I had previously tried selecting the printer and drivers through the System Preferences to no avail, but doing it this way worked.

we try to print SAP Script Forms on a HP Color Laser Jet 2550. I found no exact matching driver or device type for this printer on the SAP Website.
On the printout all formatted text are scrumbled. All texts without a textformat and boxes are printed correct. Does someone else have the same problems with other color laser printers and how did you solve the problem ?

Try HPLJ4000, HP2200. I think the printer also supports post script, try POST2 also.

Webscan problem with HP Officejet Pro 8600 printer and OS Mavericks

I have an iMac with OS 10.9 Mavericks installed and an HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus N911g printer. I recently downloaded the "HP-Inkjet-SW-OSX-Mavericks_v12.34.37" software update from the HP website but, since installing it, the image preview feature on Webscan now only shows a black screen and I cannot download the scanned image. I have uninstalled the update and reinstalled the old software - "Officejet-Pro-8600_v12.23.0" but the problem persists.
I am not sure if this is an HP problem or a Mavericks bug. Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated

The servicing when the printer is turned on is normal and is required to keep the printheads healthy (not clogged). See here for information.
As for power savings, the printer will automatically go into a low power mode when not printing for some time. It is not necessary to turn the product off and on to save power.

HP Color LaserJet 2500 and new Airport Extreme

I have tried to connect my HP Color LaserJet 2500 to the new Airport Extreme USB port. Printer setup utility recognizes the printer but when I print I it always errors out. Any work around for this? I have noticed two other postiings for other HP models that are having the same problem. Is this a universal HP problem?

Futher information on the printing problem. The GIMP driver works. It is available at http://gutenprint.sourceforge.net/pSupportedPrinters.php3. This may be the answer for some folks with Inkjets or non-color LaserJets. It does not solve my problem because the GIMP driver only provides black and white support. No color.
Anyone know of an alternative driver that supports color?

Color Laserjet prints extra pages on startup

I just bought a CP1518ni color laserjet printer and installed it. It works fine except that whenever I restart my computer, the printer prints 3 extra pages. Each has a single B&W line with gibberish printed at the top. I've tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the printer but the symptoms remain the same.
I am running Windows XP.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Color LaserJet 2600n and manual duplex option

good morning,
i have a Color LaserJet 2600n and i have a manual duplex problems
i have upgraded my OS from WinXP and the manual duplex function does not work anymore (system with OS Win7 x64 and system with win8.1 x64)
in win XP I selected the manual duplex function. the system made it appear the dialog box with the instructions to do (for example: press "V" button on the print panel when ready)
WinXP worked perfectly
win7 x64 printing all the pages one after the other (the system made it appear the dialog box with the instructions to do but don't work)
win8.1 x64 does not allow me to choose the manual duplex function and i need print the odd pages before of the even pages.
can i resolve this problem?
can i printing with the manual duplex dialog box and how can i enable this function?
maybe this is a stupid question for Hp but it is so important for my job and my research

HP Color Laserjet Printer 2605dn

All of a sudden my printer (HP Color Laserjet Printer 2605dn) won't print reds. I checked the magenta cartridge and it says it has toner left. Doubting that, I bought a new magenta cartridge and it didn't help the situation....still no reds. I installed new printer drivers....no fix. All of the other colors work. Do I need to throw away this printer?

Could a Color LaserJet Printer use / print to Photo Paper?

Hello HP Support, Well as you notice I have quite a few questions, since store representative say yes to everything and barely even know the answer. My Question here is I have alot i mean alot close to 1,000 sheets of HP Photo paper from a few year and decade back wasa good sale and just came across them recently hidden back in my HP Demo Day i presented. ** Anyways would like to know if i can use this HP Photo paper in my m276nw? Also do HP Color LaserJet printer normally handle and work with HP Media products so, if i buy another printer in which I'm searching around for another AIO would hope to do everything. I have Premium, Matte, Glossy & Glossy Brochure Photo paper - HP Makes many types of Photo paper could i use these? Since it does not state Laser or Inkjet on the box. Canon ImageClass c2100 Color Laser Printer and OS 10.6

I have a Canon ImageClass c2100 Color Laser printer which, as I understand it, shares drivers and some parts with the HP Color LaserJet 8500. I have owned the printer for many years but it hasn't been used since we updated our systems to 10.6. We are on a wired Ethernet network with passive hubs and an Asante Firewall.
After firing up the ImageClass c2100 we do not seem to be able to print. I get the message "cannot connect to printer" or the print process just hangs up. I am looking for some step by step instructions for both the settings on the Canon printer and for the Mac print preferences. For example:
When adding printer:
LPD or IPP? My HP 4050TN works with this at LPD so thats what I have been doing on the Canon
What IP address do I put in there? I see the IP on the printer is set to 192.168.123.169 so I have been using that.
For the driver software I select HP Color LaserJet 8500 as I believe that this worked before.
On the Canon ImageClass c2100 I have the settings as:
TCP/IP - Ethernet - Set to YES
Enable Auto IP - Set to NO
Ethernet IP - 192.168.123.169
Subnet Mask - 255.255.255.0
Gateway - 192.168.123.254
Appletalk - Set to YES
If any of you out there are Mac and Canon experts I'd love a hand getting this combo running. Seems a shame to retire this old workhorse when she has lots of pages left in her.

Did you confirm that the Mac and the C2100 can 'see' each other? On the Mac, you can open Network Utility and select the Ping tab. Here you can type the IP address of the C2100, set the number of Pings to 4 and then press the Ping button. If there is working path between the two devices then you should get 4 responses from the C2100 for each ping. If the results show something else then post those responses back here.
The other thing you can do is open Safari and type the IP address of the Mac as the URL. If there is a path between the two devices then this will connect to the internal web page of the C2100. If it doesn't show the internal web page then this also confirms that you have the Mac and the C2100 configured for different networks and this will cause the pausing issue.
If you do get a ping response, or can connect to the internal web page, then the pausing can be a result of the protocol you selected not being available on the C2100. As I mentioned before, for an LPD connection a queue name of print must be entered. But if the LPD/LPR setting is not enabled on the C2100 then this will cause the queue to pause. So you could try creating another queue to the C2100, but this time selecting HP Jetdirect-Socket for the protocol. While LPD can be disabled by default, RAW Port 9100 (which is known as HP Jetdirect-Socket on the Mac) is often on as this is the default protocol used by Windows - and it is important we don't upset Windows users ;-) With Jetdirect you will notice that no queue name is required, so all you need to enter is the IP address and then select Generic Postscript in the Print Using menu.
See how that goes for you....

Somewhere at either Macworld or here I learned that DVDSP 2, DVDSP 3 and now DVDSP 4 "internally" are major re-writes.
Support for HD among a few other items along with QT 7 which comes with Tiger means sincerely that one set of applications/OS is not going to be stable.
Personally I think of all the issues possible its DVDSP vs QT.
Unless you move to DVDSP v4 the alternative is to wipe the disk and go back to Jaguar (10.2) or perhaps Panther but avoid upgrading QT beyond 6. I advocate wiping the disk because I'n not sure an archive and install to down shift to an earlier version of the OS is possible. If it is I'd still worry about mis-matched files in all sorts of locations.

Update: my PC USB hub was connected to a USB 3 port, I connected the 30 pin cable directly to my PC, And the restore worked just fine. Restored phone from iCloud backup and seems to be working fine.

International Teams degree to transfer two but when I go past the fourth degree no longer work. We changed the formula for calculating the parameters for grade four and gave me some good values for Matlab award but when I put on LabVIEW have not settled. formulas are available in PDF and are. This isn't an issue. Notice the screen prior to the one that shows usage has an iCloud section and a Manage Storage button. For this button to activate ios needs to download a few kb from icloud. Switching back to this screen forces ios to download those few kb.
