Problem with HP 7525 software on windows 8.1
When I select the HP printer icon on the desktop or the start menu, all I get is a windows notepad file that says HPSP progress. I have tried uninstalling the software and re-installing it but nothing changes. Does anyone have a solution for this? Thanks.

Problem with Updated Webcam Software for Windows 7 (I AM NOT USING THE BETA VERSION OF WINDOWS 7)
I have a dv5-1235dx. HP posted new software for Win 7 (64) built in camera software. The install seemed to go fine, but once you click to run the software, nothing happens, so it seems. About a minute or so later, the application opens. Why is it taking so long to open. I have uninstalled/reinstalled multiple times and the problem still exist. I have tried to go back to the old vista version of the software (running in cap mode), but now that software takes a long time to load. I have done a restore, with no affect. What happened? Note: I am using the full retail version, not a beta of Win 7 Ultimate. None of the other Updated HP software has this problem. HP won't help because Windows is not officially released yet.

LogMeIN Guardian has detected a problem with the LogMeIn software...
A customer I support got an error dialog box, "LogMeIN Guardian has detected a problem with the LogMeIn software on this machine". He supplied no other details regarding what he was doing at the time or how long the session had been established with the host. I connected to his laptop and there are no malware infections reported by HitMan Pro or Norton. The event viewer entry for this event is: LogMeIn Guardian has detected a problem with the LogMeIn software installed on this machine. The problem is locally identified by the following reference ID: 'e564efd936b4fa136c2f2fc87cfcc592'. There are no other remarkable events in the event viewer. Any idea what happened? I am receiving a similar message. The id is different and I don't know if that is a generic message and the ID is the key or if the id just relates to computer-account or something. In my case, I have installed it onto Windows 8 RP and although everything looks fine, and most functions work correctly but when I try to remote-control I get a 202 (remote control session initiated) and see a flash of the desktop then a disconnect with error 104 and the following: Message: LogMeIn Guardian has detected a problem with the LogMeIn software installed on this machine. The problem is locally identified by the following reference ID: '386708ab41884ad6d1d37258cd9b6140' my guess is an incompatible display driver since I can do other functions (such as event viewer). I will be trying a newer driver.

Reset Password starting from Recovery HD
Start the computer,then press and hold down command and R keys to start into recovery partition.
When you see the Apple logo, release the keys.
Wait until OS X Utilities window shows up.
Move the mouse to the menubar at the top and click "Utilities", then select "Terminal"
from the drop down.
Terminal window will appear.
Type in resetpassword and press enter on the keyboard.
Leave the Terminal window open.
Reset Password Utility window will open with Macintosh HD selected.
Select the user account from the popup menu box.
Enter a new password.
Reenter the new password for the user.
Enter a hint.
Click the "Save" button.
Click in the menubar and select Restart.
Log in.
If Keychain dialog box appears, select “Create New Keychain”. -
Problem with tv@nywhere plus on windows 8

i have a problem with tv@anywhere plus on windows 8. i can setup the pvr plus app completely but when i open that and click on "watch and record dtv program" icon, i will see an error that says: "invalid class string!"
i think this problem should be for its driver because i'm using windows 8 64bit and the driver is for windows 7, i couldn't find an appropriate driver for windows 8 on MSI driver downloads, as matter of fact it didn't exist.
so what should i do for my problem?I'm afraid TV@nywhere Plus is a bit outdated for Win8. There is no update so far since 2010. Could be MSI won't add Win8 support if it would be anyway possible.

I am trying to update my phone so I can save my info on my old phone & get a new phone, but I get a error that says "There was a problem with downloading teh software, the network connection timed out.." HELP! Not sure what my settings shoud be...

It sounds as this issue:
Open System Preferences and go to Accessibility. Next, select Display from the source list along the left, then check the box labelled Reduce transparency.

Problem with download Adobe software
I received Error 1935.Policy 8.0.microsoft.VC80 CRT version=8.0.50727.163 "type=win32-policy pulic key token=1fc8b9a1e18e3b."processor architecture=x86". Can I get assistance or guidance in downloading the current software for Adobe.
I was able to download Adobe Reader 10. It seems to solve the problem. I
am not sure if there is an updated version of this program.

Why has Apple not addressed the problems with its own software?
Since I seem to have made the fatal mistake of upgrading my lovely iMac to Snow Leopard, most of my iLife 09 products have ceased working. In particular iDVD, where as before on faithful Leopard it did its job 100% it now decides to crash whenever it feels like it, leaving me with a third party application to use. Myself, along with approx 2000 other users have the same problem, so come on Apple, why the problems with your own software?? and why are we still waiting??

Welcome to apple discussions. Question for you: Is your mac intel based?
If not, what's the objective in upgrading to Snow Leopard as opposed to continuing to work perfectly within Leopard? What added features were you considering to upgrade to? Are there any benefits in doing this for your own mac (even if it is intel based)?
It's wise to approach all upgrades with caution (meaning always back up your current / working HD).
Frankly, the way I upgrade is to clone my existing hard drive and then boot to the clone. Thereafter, I install the latest upgrade or OS (assuming it works well on the clone). I guess what I'm saying is to never upgrade without backing up and performing a test drive of the latest OS before you opt to alter your main hard drive. One can't assume that the latest and greatest Mac OS will continue to work fine on a mac which didn't first ship with this particular OS.
This latest Mac OS /Snow Leopard is a bold step forward for apple. It's bold step forward in that it excludes all non-intel based macs.

Upgrading from OSX 10.58 to 10.6 - any problems with previously installed software anyone?
I was wondering if anyone had had any problems with their current software after installing 10.6? (I'm asking because I have a substantial investment in the Adobe Creative Suites and don't want to lose it.) Has anyone had any problems after installing 10.6? Thank you in advance for any replies.
I would check the Adobe web site to see if it will be compatible. If there is an issue you may consider a partitioned HDD and run the two OSs each on separate partitions.

Problem with Itunes 9.1 on Windows 7
Hi all
Problem with the 9.1 version of itunes. I download the update and everything went ok and till i reboot the pc and gave me this messages. "Apple sync notifier "The program can't start corefundation.dll missing from this computer".
Trying to fix the problem i uninstall itunes, Quick, apple application device, apple mobile device, and software update and reboot the pc and reinstall everything. This time everything went right and no more message but now if i click to open itunes it not runs and safari is making my computer slow and it freeze for seconds.
Any idea what could be my problem?Same problem here. Running the iTunes network diagnostic doesn't enlighten me: it tells me that connectivity to the iTunes store is fine. My firewall tells me that when iTunes starts it attempts to connect to "http://wpad/wpad.dat" which of course fails because the unqualified domain name gets my local domain added to it (and I don't have a host called ipad on my network).

Problem with the wireless speed on windows with bootcamp
I've got a problem with the following:
the wireless card of my mac pro is very slow when i run windows on my mac pro with bootcamp
When i just run OSX everything works fine, but in windows, when I connect to the wireless my wireless speed
drops to 11-18mbs.
First I thought that it was a drivers issue, but after the update of bootcamp drivers 1.4 the problem still exist.
First I had a Topcom wireless router now I've bought a Apple Airport Extreme, but the problem isn't solved yet...
The router isn't 2 meters away from my mac.
And the wireless speed is fine when i connect with my dads windows laptop...
Does anyone has a solution? using a cable isnt a solution for me because in September I will move with my mac pro one floor down.You might want to ask this in the Boot Camp forums. As your wireless work fine under Mac OS X it sounds to be a software issue as opposed to a hardware one which means as Windows users they'll better be able to help.
