Problem with HTML code wich is transforming by RH

Hello
I would like to know if there is a way to stop the transformation that Robohelp does in the html code.
For example:
I write in the html editor :
<div id="footer">
bla bla bla
</div>
I go back to the Conception editor to work, then, when I go back to the html editor, the code became :
<?rh-region_start id="footer" style="x-right: -1240px; x-bottom: -110px; " ?>
bla bla bla
<?rh-region_end ?>
Is there a way to stop it ?

Hi there
I suspect what is happening is that you are trying to use the term "footer" to identify a div and because RoboHelp offers its own footer and header, these are "reserved" words that RoboHelp will insist on using.
It's no different than what you encounter when scripting or programming.
The only suggestion I can make is to perhaps use a variant on the name. Perhaps insert a zero for one or both of the letter o in footer so it looks like this: f00ter.

Email with HTML code

I have a problem with generating HTML based email.
BPEL code example:

Not sure what you expect. Your URL is absolute and pointing to a local file resource. It's not a proper relative HTML link. Beyond that it's toatlly unclear how you actually plan to load your image and where they are hosted, so nobody can tell you anything. Either way, there is an obviously painful lack of understanding of even the most basic web techniques, so the best advise anyone would give you is to spend some time with a web search and actualyl learn some of that stuff...

Problem with HTML viewer

Dear All ,
I am facing a problem with HTML Viewer . My senario is as follows :
1. I have created one HTML page . On that page there are 4 Images
2. I imported that HTML page in SAP with the help of transaction SMW0
3. I Called that HTML page in my ABAP program using the method "load_html_document" of class cl_gui_html_viewer
4. This is happening perfectly ok on the machine on which all this developement was done.
But the issue is when I execute my ABAP program on a different machine , those Images on that HTML page are not displaying.
Can you please guide me how to remove that machine dependancy?

Problem with php code. Please help!

I'm using the following syntax to bring content into my
websites' layout template:

What it's essentially saying is, if you can't find the .php
file in the _root folder, look for it in the /news/ folder.
It works perfectly if loading something from the _root folder
but I get an error if I need to bring something from the /news/
folder.
Can anyone see any potential problems with my code?

Or the other thing you can try is replacing the elseif
statement with:

Inserting an image into Clearbox with html code

Hi guys,
I am using Clearbox to make pop up boxes so I can use text and images in it and I am editing them with html code.
This is the code that I have (default for clearbox html)

This code works fine, but I also want to add an image to it.

Can anyone tell me how I would add the above together. Just inserting it into the code does not work, and I have also tried replacing the

Copy that block of code and save it into a js file with the name "fancybox_definitions" in the fancybox/lib folder.
Then add the other "calls" to Fancybox files to your header. It should work from there.

Problems with html content in box

Hi! I have a problem with html content. For example photoswipe. If I import the folder with the index.html of photoswipe as an article all works fine. If I link it trough the folio overlay creator/webcontent) into a box in indesign dps, it stays empty. Seems like it doesnt find the images/paths??

This sounds familiar. PhotoSwipe doesn't seem to like working in a web content overlay unless the JavaScript and other source files are uploaded within HTMLResources. This means editing your local HTML file so that paths to the JavaScript, images and CSS files begin by pointing to HTMLResources virtual folder (../../../HTMLResources/) before their subfolder and filenames. It's worth a try.

I can see many:
1. i assume your code snip is inside a method. a local variable can not be declare private.
2. if you didn't import java.util.* on top then you need to prefix package on All occurance of Vector.
3. String in java are constant and has literal syntax. "Mary" is sufficient in most of the time, unless you purposly want to call new String("Mary") on purpose. Read java.lang.String javadoc.
Here is a sample that would compile...:

the problem is not the exported xls. If you have a look inside with Notepad or something like that, you will see that your leading zeros are exported correct.Excel-settings occurs this problem, it is all about how to open the document. If you use the import-assistant you will have no problems because there are options available how to handle the different columns.
Another solution might be to get familiar with ABAP2XLS-Project. I got in my mind, that there is a method implemented, that will help you solving this problem. But that is not a five minute job

@OP, you really should use char for this. You're unnecessarily taking each char, converting it to a string, and working with the single-character string. That's not very efficient.

When I tried to compile the code, it says:
Unable to interpret "SYSTEM-EXCEPTIONS". Possible causes: Incorrect spelling or comma error.

Problem with html:select or html:options tags using struts,jsp and tomcat

I'm updating a Struts-Project to a new layout and therefore rework all jsp Sites.
I'm also using a new Folder-Structure and update therefore my struts-config file.
My Problem now is:
Till now, we had a select-field with a code like this:

The problem now is, that whenever I use any <html:xy> tag, the tomcat server I use can not show the page, he shows just the headers of the template, but not the
content.-jsp-File where the form would be in. He stops right in the middle of the html page, when he notices the <html:xy> tags.
And the funny thing is, that he has no problem to show a page when there is a <html:errors> within it? Why could this be? the struts-html.tld File is well included and teh Tomcat Server shows no exceptions.

Above is a section of code that displays perfectly well in live view and in a browser when I use it on my own machine.
However, when I upload it to my website, it only displays the page down to where the smily is.
I assumed that the error is due to a small difference in the php variants, but it could also be something that is wrong with my code.
Can anyone help?
I am using Xamp 2.5 on my home machine. The web server is using php version 6 but version 5 is also enabled.
Its all written in html5 and php.

Is there a way to compile with deprecation in TextPad?
I looked around and couldn't find anything. I
believe the problem is because of
Date enterDate = new Date(month + "/" + day + "/" +
year); . The format is probably wrong and the Date
method doesn't like it, at least that is my guess. I
have been programming in Java for about three weeks

Secondly, you're right. The problem is with that line. See http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.1/docs/api/java/util/Date.html for details.
But what you could do, is something like Date enterDate = date.parse(month + "/" + day + "/" + year);
One bit of advice: please don't call your DateFormat 'date', as that may cause confusion. Let its name reflect what it represents or what type it is, and preferably both (for instance: 'myCustomDateFormat').
