Problem with Inactive DCs...

Hi
I have created and product, software component in SLD. I have done neccessary configurations in CMS.I have successfully imported the software component which i have created in SLD into my NWDS.I can see the software components in  my NWDS Developement Configuration perspective.
Now i have created a DC in Inactive DCs view.  Its successfully created and i am able see the DC in <b>Local DCs</b> view which i have created but under <b>Inactive DCs</b> view its not visible.
Can u please me what could be the problem..
Best Regards
Ravi Shankar B

Hi
Try to remove and import the cofiguration all over again.Restarting the NWDS might be of help too.

  • Problem with Local DCs View in NWDS 7.0

    Hi!
    I' ve got a problem with Local DCs view in NWDS: None of the standard-DCs (BI_MMR, BI_UDI, CAF a.s.o.) can be expanded and show their content. I already reinstalled IDE, but without success.
    Has anybody got an idea?
    Thanks a lot in advance!

    Hi,
    This is due to some files missed in Local development.
    Let me know Are you able to see <b>.confdef, .syncdb</b> and <b>buildvariant.config </b> files under Local Developement.
    If you are not able to see, UnInstall your NWDS, Remove Local developement under .dtc folder, then Re-Install NWDS.
    Hope this will help you.
    Thanks & Regards

    Your setup might be incomplete: The SAR file extraction creates very long paths on your filesystem. If you do not extract to the rootfolder of disk, chances are the paths become too long and the installation exits, without any warning.
    If this is not the cause of your problem, check if the .dcdef files for the local DCs (plugin com.sap.tc.ap if I'm correct) were copied during installation.

  • I have problem with inactive memory - mountain lion 10.8.3 - mem 8 GB 1333 MHZ DDR3

    inactive memory make the system so slow. It is becoming really frustrating. I even don't use many app simultanouly (Although I have 8GB of RAM).

    Understanding top output in the Terminal
    The amount of available RAM for applications is the sum of Free RAM and Inactive RAM. This will change as applications are opened and closed or change from active to inactive status. The Swap figure represents an estimate of the total amount of swap space required for VM if used, but does not necessarily indicate the actual size of the existing swap file. If you are really in need of more RAM that would be indicated by how frequently the system uses VM. If you open the Terminal and run the top command at the prompt you will find information reported on Pageins () and Pageouts (). Pageouts () is the important figure. If the value in the parentheses is 0 (zero) then OS X is not making instantaneous use of VM which means you have adequate physical RAM for the system with the applications you have loaded. If the figure in parentheses is running positive and your hard drive is constantly being used (thrashing) then you need more physical RAM.
    Adding RAM only makes it possible to run more programs concurrently.  It doesn't speed up the computer nor make games run faster.  What it can do is prevent the system from having to use disk-based VM when it runs out of RAM because you are trying to run too many applications concurrently or using applications that are extremely RAM dependent.  It will improve the performance of applications that run mostly in RAM or when loading programs.

  • Problem with Inactive memory

    Well I recently upgraded my ram on my mid 2009 MBP to 8GB so i can do video editing, photoshop etc. But even with the upgraded ram my computer uses up basically all the memory for inactive memory. This is getting ridiculous, When i checked activity monitor today the inactive ram was 5.12GB! and the free ram was 23mb... This happens way too often, and everytime I have to manually fix this with the purge command in terminal. Its getting kinda annoying. If anyone has any suggestions, it would be much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Sean

  • What does this statement mean: "There is a problem with your authentication, possibly due to inactivity. For your safety, you have been logged out and must sign in again to continue?"

    I am able to make it to the site for about 2 seconds and then I am quickly logged off and the statement, "There is a problem with your authentication, possibly due to inactivity. For your safety, you have been logged out and must sign in again to continue."
    I don't have a clue as to the problem but since this is impacting my participation in these classes and ultimately could have a negative impact on my grade, I am more than a little concerned!

  • Problem with system Inactivity/Idle time after installing Lion.

    Since installing Lion strange things have been happening.
    While I was happily editing a text file in TextMate and interacting with the Terminal, my screen saver started. I could only get rid of it by clicking on it, keyboard interaction didn't seem to clear it.
    Adium was sending lots of updates to MSN to try and update my friendly name, which was causing issues with MSN sending errors back.
    After unlocking 1Password and starting to look for a username/password the application would then lock itself.
    I have since disabled my screen saver, which has not appeared again. I have updated the preferences in Adium to not change my status based on system idle time, although the dock icon for it permanently displayed the Idle sign. I have also updated the preferences in 1Password to prevent auto-lock after n minutes.
    Since changing these preferences I have not had any problems with the applications, however this isn't ideal. As soon as I revert these changes my problems come back.
    Has anyone else had this sort of issue? Does anyone know what might be causing my system to believe that it is idle, when I am clearly interacting with it?

    If I delete the existing xml file and set the file path to the desktop, the script works again. However it doesn't work if the applescript is called by another program. This seems to indicate that the XML portion if fine, but that there is some sort of new file permission level control in applescript that wasn't there before that is preventing me from viewing the file. Any further ideas?
    Cheers

  • Probem with building DCs on Netweaver 2004

    Dear Netweaver experts,
    I'm using netweaver 2004 and try to build an appliaction with external Software Component.
    I tried to build the appliaction for local deploymnent.
    To add JIMI into my project there were generated DCs with included external SC.
    The JIMI component seems to be available in my system. also the building routine
    seems to find my JIMIext DC.
    But during compilation of my source code the build fails since the compiler can't resolve the JIMI-imports.
    Following the recommendations of Hint 797222 I synced and rebuildt the dcs but this did not solve my problem.
    Now i don't know how to proceed. Any hints ?
    Best regards and thanks in advance,
    Daniel Wetzler

  • What is diff b/w active and inactive DCs

    hi
    please let me know what is diff between Active and Inactive DC's.
    If possible send some FAQs on JDI
    Thanks
    -mmukesh

    Hi Mukesh,
    When you are developing somthing through JDI (NWDI), you will have inactive dc and active dc.
    If you want to do some changes in code then you can do these changes through inactive dcs. Whatever changes you do in inactive DCs and until you check-in that activity. other developers cannot have those changes.
    but, when you check-in your activity those changes will be visible to other developers who are working on the same DC but this updated code will not be reflected in active DC.
    But when you activate that activity, those changes will be reflected in active dc and this active dc will be deployed on Development server.
    In summary, inactive DCs contain intermidiate code which is not ready to deploy on Development server yet. This updated code is available in Active DC.
    Hope now you are clear with Inactive and Active DCs.

  • [SOLVED] Problem with GDM and Gnome3

    Okay, the Topic was more of a trick. Actually I'm havingt two seperate issues; I googled and such, but have not found anything that really answers my question.
    First Issue:
    I have my gdm.service enabled, so it starts on statup. I boot into runlevel 3. Now, whenever I type "startx" the screen becomes black, and after a while I come back into my TTY with something along the lines of "Stopping X server". But without any error, etc. It justs stops. When I know do a systemctl status on my gdm.service, I become that:
    gdm.service - GNOME Display Manager
    Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/gdm.service; enabled)
    Active: inactive (dead)
    Feb 03 16:47:31 thunderlaptop gdm-simple-slave[475]: WARNING: Failed to give slave programs access to the display. Trying to proceed.
    Feb 03 16:48:22 thunderlaptop gdm-password][623]: pam_unix(gdm-password:auth): authentication failure; logname=(unknown) uid=0 euid=0 tty=:0 ruser= rhost= user=thunderuser
    Feb 03 16:48:33 thunderlaptop gdm-password][626]: pam_unix(gdm-password:session): session opened for user thunderuser by (unknown)(uid=0)
    Feb 03 16:48:33 thunderlaptop gdm-simple-slave[475]: WARNING: Failed to remove slave program access to the display. Trying to proceed.
    Feb 03 17:03:17 thunderlaptop systemd[1]: Stopping GNOME Display Manager...
    Feb 03 17:03:17 thunderlaptop gdm-simple-slave[475]: GLib-GObject-CRITICAL: g_object_ref: assertion `object->ref_count > 0' failed
    Feb 03 17:03:17 thunderlaptop gdm-simple-slave[475]: WARNING: Child process 626 was already dead.
    Feb 03 17:03:17 thunderlaptop gdm-simple-slave[475]: WARNING: Unable to kill session worker process
    Feb 03 17:03:18 thunderlaptop gdm-simple-slave[475]: GLib-GObject-CRITICAL: g_object_unref: assertion `object->ref_count > 0' failed
    Feb 03 17:03:18 thunderlaptop systemd[1]: Stopped GNOME Display Manager.
    After I start it, it puts me into the login screen and I can work just fine with Gnome3. I have no clue where the issuse might be.
    The second is simple to explain - I have no Network symbol in the upper right corner, and Gnome3 says the network service is not compatible with my system.
    Oh, and another issue. When I type something too long, the text does not start a new line in my console resulting in some Visual problems.
    Thanks in advance.

    Isn't GDM starting X and Gnome as it should for you? You shouldn't need to start X unless you want more than one X session. Is that what you are trying to do? After installing Gnome and Gnome-extra, I just use this command to enable GDM. systemctl enable gdm
    What is your networking configuration. The beginners guide has been updated within the last week or two about this due to a change in network interface naming. Please give that a look.
    Which console and shell are you using? Does it have a line wrap configuration option. This is normally automatic but those are my first questions.
    Well, as I said, I start into runlevel 3 and want to start X by myself.
    Yes, I realise that it is not wlan0 anymore, and I know the name of my wlan-interface. It works awesomely fine via wifi-menu <interface>, but gnome3 seems to have struggles? Have not found anything about that.
    I'm using the gnome shell with bash. But the problem occours in a tty2 console as well. I guess it is a problem with .bashrc, but I have no idea what it might be.
    Edit:
    So, the fixes for the problems are...
    1. Reinstall Linux. My Pam was fucked up somewhoe.
    2. systemctl enable NetworkManager and not networkmanager. Please kill me.
    3. I wrote the Colorcodes and escape-characters in a variable and used that in the actual PS1. That fixed it, and the guys over at bash suggest that too.

  • Problem with valueUnbound() in 5.1 SP12

    We are facing a problem with WLServer 5.1 SP12 when the session gets invalidated.
    Please find the problem description below.
    References:
    1.) SessionListener Class : A class that implements HttpSessionBindingListener
    2.) Login JSP : A JSP which adds the instance of SessionListener object to the
    session once the user is authenticated succuessfully.
    Problem Description:
    Once the SessionListener object is added to the session valueBound() method is
    always called. When the user logs out explicitly valueUnbound() is always called.
    At this point we call the session.invalidate() method.
    However, valueUnbound() is not called after the Inactive interval properly, for
    instances like system crash or closing of browser by the user before he actually
    logs out. Most of the time it works perfectly, but sometimes it happens the above
    mentioned problem comes.
    I am not able to justify whether it is a problem with my code or an issue with
    the wlserver. Appreciate any help in this matter.
    I am giving the important fragments of code below for reference:
    <PRE>
    /*---SessionListener.java ----*/
    public class SessionListener implements HttpSessionBindingListener {
    private String loginUserId; //Holds the user id in the session.
         public SessionListener(String loginUserId) {
              this.loginUserId = loginUserId;
         public void valueBound(HttpSessionBindingEvent event) {
              try {
                   //Initialization code.
                   LogWriter.log(new Date() + "<BOUND>" + loginUserId + ":"+ event.getSession().getId());
              } catch(Exception e) {
                   LogWriter.log("<ERROR OCCURRED DURING BOUND>\n" + e.getMessage());
         public void valueUnbound(HttpSessionBindingEvent event) {
         //Clean up Code.
         LogWriter.log(new Date() + "<UNBOUND>" + loginUserId + ":"+ event.getSession().getId());
    Code fragment from Login.jsp
    SessionListener ssnlstnr = new SessionListener(LoginBn.getLoginId());
    session.setAttribute("ssnLstnrObj", ssnlstnr);
    </PRE>
    Thanks for any help in advance.

    Hi Simon,
    Thanks for your explanation. Yes, we are aware that the session will not be invalidated
    immediately after the system crashes or the browser is closed. We are using weblogic
    5.1 , so use weblogic.properties file instead of weblogic.xml. The property used
    is, 'weblogic.httpd.session.timeoutSecs'. Currently, it is set to 600 seconds.
    So, the session should be invalidated after 10 minutes if there is no activity
    done, even in the cases of system crash. This is inturn fires the valueUnbound()
    method. Most of the times, it is called. But, in some instances, it is
    not called. Is there any way that we can ensure that it is definitely called always,
    although the specs say that it will be called whenever the object is removed from
    the session or the session itself is invalidated.
    Thanks,
    Tejokiran.Y
    Simon Evans <[email protected]> wrote:
    the valueUnbound method will be called when the object is removed from
    the session. this will happen if you explicitly remove the object from
    the session, if you call session.invalidate(), or if the session
    timesout (expires). the session will timeout if the user is inactive
    for
    the time specified in the session-timeout element in web.xml.
    the method will usually not be called on a system crash, and will not
    be
    called when the user closes the browser.
    the session-param InvalidationIntervalSecs in weblogic.xml does not
    specifiy the session timeout, this is an interval for weblogic to check
    for timed-out or invalidated sessions and clean up the memory.
    you can specify the session timeout in weblogic.xml with the
    session-param TimeoutSecs, but this is overridden by the session-timeout
    value in web.xml.

  • Problem with follow-up transaction from task

    Hello,
    I have a problem with creating follow-up transaction from tasks. Here is the problem,
    I've defined two new transaction types Z010/Z020 with business transaction category BUS2000125 TASK and I want to be able to create follow-up transaction from them. After defining them I've mapped the copying control so that I'm able to create opportunities, tasks and leads from those transaction types. However, when I'm testing there is a problem. Here are the steps I'm performing:
    1: I'm creating a new Task from any of those two transaction types (Z010/Z020)
    2: I'm saving the transaction and then I save it.
    3: Open the transaction More -> Create follow up
    4: A pop-up window appears with the possible follow-up transactions (in this case task/opportunity or lead).
    5: I click on any of those but nothing happens - no indication of error or whatsoever the screen just stays the same and I'm able to click on More -> Create follow up and choose any of the possible entries. However, there is no result.
    I have a requirement for follow up transactions from opportunities and everything works just fine there, the problem is only with Tasks. I've tested this from the backend (CRMD_ORDER) and I'm able to create a follow-up from this transaction types (Z010/Z020), so the problem seems to be something with the CRM UI. If any of you have an idea why is this happening and how to fix it, please tell.
    Thanks in advance!

    Note:
    As of CRM 7.0, this modification is no longer required because the IMG
    activity "Activate Copying Control for Activities" is provided (maintaining the
    table/view CRMC_ACT_COPY_SW in transaction SM30). Here you can decide whether
    the copying control for activities and tasks (BUS2000126 and BUS2000125) is
    active or inactive depending on the specific client.
    IMG path
    (transaction SPRO):
    Customer Relationship Management
    -->
    Transactions
    --> Settings for Activities
    --> Activate Copying
    Control for Activities
    In the standard system, the copying control for
    tasks and activities remains inactive.

  • HP Smart Web Printing feature, problem with IE7 and FireFox3

    "HP Smart Web Printing" problem with Internet Explorer 7 and FireFox 3I have a laptop that came with: Windows Vista Home Premium, Internet Explorer 7, FireFox 1.9. Everything worked fine.
    Recently I bought a "HP Photosmart C4580 All-in-One" printer that came with a free software "HP Smart Web Printing".
    Smart Web Printing worked fine with FireFox 1.9 browser. I liked it very much, because with it, I could print only the portions from the web page that I want, thus saving on inks. It really does more than that.
    With IE 7, Smart Web Printing was a disaster. IE 7 stopped working. Every time I closed a web browser window, IE7 would stop working and start all over again. It happened all the time.
    On suggestion from Microsoft Windows help desk I "Reset IE Setting". This solved the IE 7 problem , but it also removed the Smart Web Printing feature.
    Next, one day I downloaded latest version of FireFox browser "FireFox 3". Once again I lost the Smart Web Printing Feature, because it was not compatible with FireFox 3.
     Now here I am with no "Smart Web Printing" feature at all.
     Any suggestion how can I get "Smart Web Printing" feature back. I love the feature
    Thanks

    March 27th 2009 I've just downloaded HP Smart Web Print onto an HP a6500f desktop system running Vista-64.  I first installed it as a limited user and I get no icon in the IE7 taskbar.  I examined the manage add-ons dialog and it was installed but the toolbar configuration has no control icon for SWP icon.
    Then I logged off and logged on as a privileged user and downloaded again and tried to install.  This 2nd installation actually REMOVED my first installation.
    So I then downloaded for a third time and installed and it finished installing but there was no SWP icon in the tool bar.  I examined the Manage Add-Ons dialog and saw one in there on the left side.  I transfered the inactive icon to the active side of the dialog and then I immediately had TWO SWP icons in the task bar. (*mumble grumble*).  So I removed one and all is OK now as long as I use the IE7 as a privileged user.
    If I go back to being a limited user (not an unreasonable thing to do is it?) I don't have an SWP icon.  Trying to install SWP application again only cause it to want to remove the existing installation.
    I'm not very impressed with this behavior.
    Is there anything that can be done to get SWP to work for limited users?
