Problem with ios8 on iPad 2
Since I installed iOS 8 on my ipad 2 I have many problems, the most important are the loss of cellular signal and the signal to hang up the only way is to restart it, not to mention the slowness that wasn't there before. How can I solve the problem? Thank you.

I apologize, I'm a bit unclear on the exact nature and scope of the issues you are describing. If you are having multiple issues after upgrading your iPad to iOS 8, you may want to first try resetting your device:
Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset
If you are still having issues after the reset, you may want to make sure you have a current backup of your data in iTunes, then try restoring your iPad to factory settings and testing it in that default condition to see if the issues persist before restoring the apps or your data. Problems with the new iPad and Joikuspot premium after iOS 6
Hi,
I'm experiencing serious problems with my new iPad after last iOS update. Usually I was connecting to the internet through Joikuspot premium on Nokia mobile phone (E6). I was able to do everything, https sites surfing, absolutely everything with no exceptions.
Now, after iOS 6 update, I can't connect to https sites, google+, sync calendar etc.
I've tried to change connection criteria on joikuspot but nothing. The fact is also that other devices as laptop or other smartphones are still working perfectly, in any case, sharing the wi-fi connection created by joikuspot.
Finally the problem is 100% due to the iPad and the new iOS.
disappointing, amateur for such a device... (iPad I mean).

This is suspect for me, so I checked it's serial with selfsolve.apple.com and it shows "Estimated Expiration Date: January 31, 2014" and since it has one year free service I am worried the iPad mini wasn't new.

i am having problems with my new ipad that i got for Christmas today, i don't get free wi-fi at my home and it said if the wi-fi is not available, connect to itunes. i have done that and it didnt help me. mind helping me out?
Further info - I changed my security settings to allow apps from anywhere, and again tried to install. I again got an error message
that the update failed to install, and to contact Customer Support. -
I have a problem with my new ipad air 64g with cellular. When I off my ipad for a long period of time ( around 2 hours), my ipad air freeze. Nothing is showing on screen with any button except by pressing reboot (home on/off button). Anyone out there can help. Thanks.
I have a 64GB iPad Air WiFi+Cellular (Verizon), and I don't see the issues you are describing. First I would suggest that you update your iPad to the newest iOS update. If that doesn't help, then you may want to schedule an appointment at an Apple Genius Bar. If you go this route, I suggest that you let the iPad sleep for long enough for the problem to arise before you go to your appointment.

I have 2 ipads 1st ipad 2G and ipad 3G whats the problem with the 3G ipad the wifi is now getting connected to the wifi modem and the ipad 2G is getting connected no problem with the 2G ipad what should i do...????? And I had checked with my iball baton router with the iball sevice provider.

We have just updated our first IPad ie Ipad2 to run IOS8.1 and have encountered problems whilst using the IPad. Will IOS 8.2 be the answer to bugs with the system or is there another fix?

The point is that loyal customers (with legacy products) don't expect to have their device compromised by an unsuitable update. There are not many possible scenarios. Either the update is simply unsuitable, or, the iOS has not been exhaustively tested/debugged/patched for older devices. If it is the former, then Customers have been mislead, and the update should have been blocked. If it is the latter, maybe the iOS will be patched at some date to allow at least the original level bug free performance for the device. When that would actually happen is unknown, and nothing official has been published to indicate recognition of the problem that many ipad2 users are consistently reporting here and across the Internet space. -
Streaming problem with iOS8.02
After an update without problems to iOS 8.02 on my iPad Air i still have problems streaming videos (i.e. from amazon instant video). The video starts but after some minutes the WLAN-connection is lost and I have to re-connect to my WLAN and start the stream again. With iOS8.0 the streaming didn't work at all, but befor that update I hadn't any problems. Is there a known bug in 8.02? I want to mirror the screen from my iPad to AppleTV via airplay and after a broken streaming connection the mirroring still works.

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync/delete all music and resync
To delete all music go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Music>Tap edit in upper right and then tap the minus sign by All Music
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

I notice that my new IPad (3rd generation) will not stay connected to the power cord at all, I'm not exagerating, if I plug it in and browse the Internet without fail it will become unplugged and I will have to push the plug back in (Ba-beep). Ive actually grown to despise that sound when you plug your iPhone or iPad in because it reminds me of how much money I spent on something that PHYSICALLY will not charge while I'm using it.
I know the problem with it holding a charge while in use, I get it, the screen is amazing and it takes a lot to run the display, however, it is unacceptable to me that I can't even keep the thing plugged in while I'm using it. I can not even leave it on my Cal King bed overnight because I will wake up in the morning to find that the plug has been jiggled loose in a corner, so it's still attached but not making a connection thus not being charged.
I love the 4GLTE from Verizon and I love the iPad, but I'm actually using my 1st generation IPad while I am at home so I can leave my new $900 iPad on a table to charge free of incident so I can use the 4G while I'm away from wifi during the day. I have been getting more upset about this because I can not even use the Griffin extended cord to charge the iPad and be far from the plug because only the original apple sync/charge cord will have a better shot at staying in. Absolutely none of my non apple cables will stay in the iPad 3 while having it in my hands.
The plug is at an angle, unlike the first iPad, not sure about the iPad 2. Please let me know if they have same issue.
If anyone else is having this problem with the Gen 3 iPad please let me know because I'm tempted to do something about it with apple and I'm hoping that I just for some reason have a bad cable receiver or something and maybe I can get a replacement and enjoy the iPad as I had expected to. There is no reason why I should be even using my first iPad and I have friends that want to buy it but I am not selling it because I'm unable to sell it because I can't handle the new iPad while it's plugged in, that is ridiculous if it's a common issue so please let me know!Thanks for the swift reply, I have been looking online and a loose plug seems to be somewhat of an issue with many, I hope mine is actually a problem and not what others are experiencing. It's taken me this long to even reach out for the simple fact I HATE being a complainer but this is just horrible.

Problem with iPhone and iPad keyboard shortcuts
When I try to access the keyboard shortcuts in either my iPhone 6+, iPad 3 or iPad Air, the sequence Settings>General>Keyboard>Shortcuts causes the devices to go back to the Home Screen. I spent several hours in a chat with Apple Support, had to go through an iTunes back up on the iPhone and restored it to "new phone" and it fixed the problem on the iPhone, but not on the iPads. Chatted again today with Support, tried hard reset (press both buttons till Apple logo appears) on the iPad 3 and I could access the shortcuts. Did the same on the iPad Air with no luck.
Now, one hour after second Support chat, none of the devices can access the shortcuts. There must be a problem with iCloud for this to be happening on all 3 devices.
Does anyone have any ideas?Same problem also and if I restore both the iPhone and iPad as new I
lose a lot of progress in my games. -
Problem with newsstand for ipad
Hi there, I have been having a small problem with newsstand on my ipad.
I have a free copy of Jamie Oliver's magazine on there, which is fine.
However, now all I can view is this copy. I want to browse the shop for other copies of the magazine, or for a subscription option, but can't do this.
I had this browsing option before I downloaded the free copy, but now can't browse anywhere. I've gone back to the store, but can't do it in there either... it just seems to offer me the chance to re-open the app.
I can't work out how to browse the issues of Jamie's magazine.
Has it glitched, or am I being a noob?Rodrigo, I had the same problem, I think what causes it is the spanish keyboard. I asume you are using it. Unfortunately what I had to do to fix was perform a full restore. the problem is that the issue will return if you enable the spanish keyboard again. I hope this helps you.

I just read about the possible issue that some folks are having with their new iPad wifi (my seemed to be running very slowly but I thought that perhaps it was just me overreacting). How do I know if I have a definite problem, and what is my recourse? Do I need to take it to an Apple store for testing? I have apple care which I assume addresses stuff like this. Thoughts? Your iPad is covered by the normal warranty for one year. If you have AppleCare that extends the coverage. If you feel there is a problem with your wifi reception visit an Apple store with your iPad for a consultation. Be sure to make an appointment before you go.

Multiple problems with touchscreen on iPad Air
I bought an iPad Air right when it came out last year, and it has started to give me problems with the touchscreen. These problems don't happen all the time, just enough to be annoying - but not enough that I can discern any pattern. So I can't figure out why this might be happening. I know that if I take it to the Apple Store to show them, everything will work perfectly - like when you take your car to the mechanic and it won't make that weird sound.
So I videoed some of them. There are four specific problems.
First, sometimes I can't slide to get to my passcode screen (apologies for the cardinal sin of a vertical video - half the time when I go for my phone and start filming the problem it own't do it again, so I hurried): http://youtu.be/LvFH6intO_8

I've tried resetting the iPad, cleaning the screen, ensuring my hands are clean, etc. Nothing seems to work, but after a while it'll just go back to normal operation (you can see that in the second video, I press the Home button and reopen Twitter and after that the multi-touch gesture works).
Anyone else having this problem?If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. Also, if you have IOS-7, read this.
