Problem with Iphone and telephone provider

In October last year I bought Iphone 4 in T com Croatia. In the beggining of October 2012 Iphone 4 had a problem with charging. It says charging, but nothing happened. I gave Iphone to telephone provider in order to send it on service because of warranty. After three weeks no information about it. I went there, in T com Pozega, and after I asked about my Iphone, they said, nothing yet. OK, I will wait more, I said. After almoust 4 weaks I went again to t com office in Pozega. Now, again nothing, but person told me that they will contac service Mobis electronic in Zagreb to check. They called me by phone next day and told me that Iphone is out of order because something was spilled on it. Now. I have a big problem. On the Iphone nothing was spilled for sure from my side. I asked them who can garanty that something was not spilled during the time in the T com office or in service. They said, service has a picture to support their report. In other hand, they offer to me to pay 200 euros more, and they will give me new Iphone 4. Just to know, I paid already for Iphone 4 almoust 500 euros. I said no, I want Iphone back, and now I decide to go with another way. I will go to judge and try to get situation to my satisfaction. A lots of information, very bad, I got from other people, and they said, the picture what I received they are sending to everyone the same. And for them it is very easy to ask more money and no repairing with warranty. The picture which I received is nothing, no picture of Iphone, no IMEI, nothing. I hope, you can advice me what to do. I like Iphone so much, and as many people told me, contact Apple, they will help, I am doing that. So, please, help me. Just for your information, they asked 200 euros additional for new, but after that cheaf of T com section in Pozega told me, that normally they are giving new Iphone and no repairing. Why then my Iphone they sent to service. Probably in order to keep money for themselves. I cant do much against service because their words are last, even they are lying to people.

Getting into a legal battle will cost more than the 200 euros, so that may not provide a solution.  Go to the offices of T-Com and request their "official" first notification of a Customer caused failure of the iPhone.  Tell them you need it to pursue legal action against them for such an accusation and such a long-time to provide such an excuse for trying to extract additional money for your iPhone.  Try to talk with the Manager in charge of the location.  See if he/she is willing to negotiate to an agreeable settlement.  An iPhone 4 replacement should be available to them for far less than 200 euros at this point.

    When I try to access the keyboard shortcuts in either my iPhone 6+, iPad 3 or iPad Air, the sequence Settings>General>Keyboard>Shortcuts causes the devices to go back to the Home Screen.  I spent several hours in a chat with Apple Support, had to go through an iTunes back up on the iPhone and restored it to "new phone" and it fixed the problem on the iPhone, but not on the iPads.  Chatted again today with Support, tried hard reset (press both buttons till Apple logo appears) on the iPad 3 and I could access the shortcuts.  Did the same on the iPad Air with no luck.

  • Multiple problems with iphone and itunes

    Long time iphone and mac user here. We have 5 iphones in our family and 4 mac computers. I am fairly competent with them. That said we have nothing but problems when trying to get our iphones to sync or update through itunes. Today i had just had enough so i am spending the day trying to resolve all of the random errors we are getting. This isn't up to Apple's usual quality standards. We have an iphone 5 and an iphone 4 synced to a windows 7 64bit. The issues below are with the iphone 5. All software updates for phone, itunes, and pc have been done. I have uninstalled itunes, cleaned reg, then reinstalled just now. (this resulted in new errors...).
    Here are my issues:
    1. SQLlite.dll error (fixed this one myself by copying the files)
    2. The iphone could not be backed up becuase the back up is not compatible or is corrupted error - can't back up iphone manually over wifi or cable
    3. The iphone could not be synced becuase the iphone could not be found on the network - this just started when i resinstalled itunes. i've plugged and unplugged the phone about a dozen times, restarting the computer and phone each time. We've had problems getting our phones to sync for a while now but usually we can get it to work by plugging/unplugging over and over again, but not anymore.

    Okay here's the entire deal it's my gf's Mac and we used to use it together I would sync on her labtop but now we are having issues and she continues to take my phone when I'm sleeping and connect it to iTunes and then proceed to go through all my things. So basically is there anyway I can remove my phone of iTunes or maybe have a pass code on iTunes for my phone so in order for it to be synced there has to be a passcode entered? Or just is there a way to stop this from happening?

    When I connect my iPhone 4 to my laptop (Toshiba), I have a huge issue with connecting and syncing my phone on iTunes. During the time it is plugged and attached to my laptop, I can charge it and sync photos that are on my device to the compter, but I can not get it to sync with iTunes. Also, I do not know what my iTunes is fuctioning at (6.1- 7.1- 8.etc), but I did updated it about a month ago. Does anyone have any information and /or/ helpful advice on this topic?

  • IOS5 update problems with iphone and ipad

    I first tried to update my iphone 4, with zero success. All software updated on my macbook pro, then when i began to update the iphone, i got stuck on "contacting iphone activation server". I can still manage my iphone and eject it, but no update. This was yesterday and 24 hours later whenver i turn on my ituens, it still says "contacting iphone activation server". iTunes is mostly functional still, but it won't connect to the iTunes store. Next I tried my iPad (1) which successfully updated, but even though I synced from a backup to iTunes, none of my apps or data is on the iPad other than my email. Now when I plug in my iPad I cannot manually manage it. The screen in iTunes when I click my iPad is just a grey screen that says iPad. No info, or buttons to choose manual or automatic update. And the iTunes bar at the top still says "accessing iTunes store", "contacting iphone activation server" and also "genius accessing iTunes store". I get that I'm obviously not connnecting to sites, but why is my ipad not responding in iTunes? I dont think that being connected to iTunes is that important to managing your iPad since I've done it several times with no internet connection.
    Please help! I really dont want to have to email myself all of my documents that I want on my iPad, or try to sync them over my webdav.

    I found a bit of a work around that is working for me, strange but it works. 
    Adding the photo album sub folders 1 at a time and syncing.  Then when it completes, add another one, confirm the pics are there and continue process.  I now have over 35k photos and no gaps or empty albums but if I do more than 2 or 3 they show up empty.
    If empty, unsync them, and add 1 at a time.  

  • Problem with iPhone and built in camera

    As others have expressed in this forum, I have a similar concern, working at a defense company where cameras are not allowed. As cool as the iPhone is, I would want to show it off to my peers, and it is not worth getting fired for if Security discovers me with it!
    I think that getting a "fixed" iPhone without the camera would be good, but doing it yourself or through a third party seems risky to the device and a sure way to void the warranty.
    I am wondering about whether this could be done at an Apple Store service center, perhaps under an Applecare plan, or about how an iPhone can be ordered from Apple to meet Defense Department requirements, either without the camera or with the camera demonstrably disabled.
    I have read in other posts about people who have had the camera disabled unintentionally. If only we could do this in a way that could be easily demonstrated to a security guard! Perhaps a simple custom application could be developed that could be downloaded and used to disable/enable the camera on demand, maybe with a password for it.
    Anyone have any new ideas?

I'm sorry to say that there is no way to get a person from Apple to remove your camera completely, this is the only way, you'll have to take it out yourself. Also, this WILL void your warranty and if it breaks you'll need to get a new one.

    Same problem here with and I've done everything shy of a total reset which I also find unacceptable. This problem exists on all iMessage platforms (iPhone, iPad, and Mac) so I don't see how restoring my iPhone would help the problem.

    I don't understand. What "program" do you mean, and what do you mean by "rewrote"? If you mean that the iPhone has Activation Lock - that is, you restored the iPhone and now it's asking for the previous owner's Apple ID and password to activate the device - then you will need that information, or you'll need to get the previous owner to remove the device from his/her iCloud account:

    You would need to sync with iTunes to get that process to work for you. Check out the article below for more information on how to resolve that issue to get the proper token to use Push Notifications again.

    This support document http://support.apple.com/kb/ts4451 relates to the 3194 error. Generally this error has to do with trying to install an iOS that is not the most current. Maybe you tried to jailbreak the phone, or downgrade iOS? Any of this apply to you?

    It's not Siri that is talking, it is one of the accessibility features. If you can't go to Settings to change the accessibility settings you will have to restore the phone from Recovery mode: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808
