Problem with JTextFields being very small

                              panel.add(accountNumber);

          }This code opens the new frame and displays the labels and the button fine. The Center part of the layout is fine as well. I cannot figure out how to get the JTextfields bigger.

In the future Swing related questions should be posted in the Swing forum.

If you need further help then you need to create a [url http://homepage1.nifty.com/algafield/sscce.html]Short, Self Contained, Compilable and Executable, Example Program (SSCCE) that demonstrates the incorrect behaviour, because I can't guess exactly what you are doing based on the information provided.
