Problem with Keyword Manager after downgrade

I upgraded iPhoto 8 to 9, didn't like it, and reinstalled 8 from the Time Machine backup.
Now, every time I start iPhoto I get the same error with Keyword Manager that I got with the upgrade.
Before re-installing iPhoto 8 I deleted 9 with AppDelete, getting rid, I thought, of all the prefs, plists, etc. What did I miss?
I tried uninstalling KM and re-installing it but get that error again.

One for the Developers of Keyword Manager, I would have thought.

Problem with window manager after re-installing Compiz

When i start my arch i get no window borders. I also cant get enything minimized, when i try to do so windows are lost.
i use this command when i start:
metacity --replace
which allowes me to have window borders but still i cant minimize.
All these happened after trying to uninstall Compiz and trying to install compiz-git.

Problem with workflow manager after restore from dump

Hi,
I updated my development environment from my dump production (restore full from dump). I restore my applicative schemas and aslo the schema owf_mgr which is used by my application.
I've got a problem with three views that I cannot recompile....
WF_USERS, WF_ROLES, WF_USER_ROLES
The errore message is ORA-00942 : Table or view doesn't exist.
How can I solve my issue ? Do I miss something

Which version of Oracle Workflow Standalone do you use?
The views are based on workflow tables such as WF_LOCAL_USERS, WF_LOCAL_ROLES, WF_LOCAL_USER_ROLES and DBA dictionary DBA_USERS. Please check if these are available in OWF_MGR schema.

Problems with Apple software after downgrading back to SL

I installed a new copy of SL to my old Macbook which supports Mac OS 10.6.8. After the clean install I used my Time Machine backup from my another computer which has Mavericks to bring the user files and applications to the old MB.
Everything seemed to work nicely, except Mail which crashed everytime you tried to open it.
I installed all the updates to 10.6.8 and after that Safari, Mail, Garageband, iPhoto won't work at all. All programs says there's a image file missing in the /System/Frameworks/XXXXXX/ folder. For instace in Safari it's Webkit2 that won't work or is missing.
I tried to reinstall safari from the web, but no luck. Fixed all the Disk Permissions for the HDD but still no luck.
I'm running out of ideas...can you guys help me. Do you think re-installing the 10.6.8 Combo -update could fix the problem?

I have a problem with session manager session files because of the invalid json storage data submited by firefox

Hi, i have problem with session manager's session files. The problem is: the submitted storage data from firefox which is put between "storage":{ and its matching closing brace } But in some of my session files there is non equal { and } under storage's braces. I need to get storage data but in my case it is very hard to do. My question is there any char put before or after { and } like /{ or \{ to avoid confusion? If there is not such thing, i think there could be different solution but i am not sure: i look couple of my session files; after "storage":{...} there is ,_"formDataSaved" so i can get storage data in this example ... by looking between "storage":{ and ,"_formDataSaved" easily. Is there every time ,"_formDataSaved" after "storage":{ ? Thank you.

Well, it seems waiting is not my strong suit..! I renamed a javascript file called recovery to sessionstore. This file was in the folder sessionstore-backups I had copied from mozilla 3 days ago, when my tabs were still in place. I replaced the sessionstore in mozilla's default folder with the renamed file and then started mozilla. And the tabs reappeared as they were 3 days ago!
So there goes the tab problem. But again when I started mozilla the window saying "a script has stopped responding" appeared, this time the script being: chrome//browser/contenttabbrowser.xml2542
If someone knows how to fix this and make firefox launch normally, please reply! Thank you

Problem with Events Manager: 'slct'

I set up an Events Manager item to run a script whenever the event "Selection" ( 'slct' ) is activated. The script works beautifully and I'm having no problem with the script itself. I am, however, having problems with what happens after the script finishes. I have this problem even if I completely comment out the script or delete everything inside the script file and leave it blank. The purpose of the script is to automate things when I select specific layers. That works and the script has some checks to prevent anything from happening unless one of those specified layers is selected.
The problem is, when I select a tool using the keyboard shortcuts, it will revert back to the previous tool upon the next keypress. It basically acts as if I am using toggle mode for that tool by holding down the key for that tool.
I wiped out my preferences but that did not solve the problem. It makes no difference how my keyboard shortcuts are mapped...either default or user defined. So for an example, here is how some of my keys are mapped:
B-Paintbrush tool
S-Brush Size Increase
So if I'm using the Clone Stamp tool and want to switch to the Paintbrush tool, I will press the "B" key. The tool switches as it's supposed to. If I need to change the size or hardness of the brush, I press one of the corresponding keys...let's say "S" to increase size. When I press "S" nothing will happen until I release that key. Once I do release it, the tool switches back to the Clone Stamp tool. You can get this same effect yourself if you hold down the key of the tool you are switching to (use the toggle mode) and then try to change size/hardness using the keyboard shortcut for that function while still holding that tool's key down.
If I select the tool from the Tools Palette, I do not have this problem. If the tool is selected from within my script, I do not have this problem. The only time I have this problem is when using the keyboard shortcuts to select the tool.
Keep in mind that I have tried this with the script code completely bypassed/erased so no script code actually exedutes. When I turn of the Events Manager or remove the 'slct' item from Events Manager, I do not have this problem at all. If I hold the <SHIFT> key down while selecting the tool, I do not have this problem (this is the same as if you were to hold down the <SHIFT>+<tool key> and press the key to change size/hardness).
To me, it seems as though if there is a 'slct' event item in Events Manager and the keyboard is used to select a tool, Photoshop treats it as if that key is being held down (toggled) until another key is pressed (or even the same key).
If anyone knows how to get around this problem, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

I'm having the same problem where a keystroke (like changing size "[ or "]") will revert to a previous tool rather than change size. Particularly annoying when you left your previously selected eraser slightly larger or smaller than your brush size and don't realize it till you've erased.
So far, from reading across quite a number of forums, it seems the event listener istelf causing the issue
At the moment I've just been thinking of "BB" as my shortcut instead of "B" so when it reverts it reverts back to the brush anyway.
I'll come back if I find a real solution to this annoyance ;P

I've been using it on all of my computer without any problems. Remember you won't see any positive comments here. Everyone here is complaining about a problem. If you want a good experience with any upgrade or update first make a backup from which you can boot the computer. If you are installing an update, like 10.10.3 for example, always download and install the Combo Updater - OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 Combo Update. Before you install any update or upgrade over an existing system you should do this:Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions:
Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility and press the Continue button. After Disk Utility loads select the Macintosh HD entry from the the left side list. Click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If Disk Utility reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit Disk Utility and return to the main menu. Select Restart from the Apple menu.

Problems with ITMS Videos after 1.1 Update

OK, so there are lots of posts about video problems on 5G ipods after software update 1.1 and what encoding methods were used etc etc.
After updating my 60GB iPod to 1.1 all my videos, including those purchased from the iTunes Music Store, suffer from audio problems.
The video playback is fine, no freezing like others have mentioned, but I get loud popping and clicking sounds on the audio, particulalry at the start of a clip.
Has ayone else experienced problems with video sound after the 1.1 update?
Restoring to software 1.0 resolved the problem so there is definitely a problem with 1.1 and ITMS content.
Apple need to sort this out. Fast.

I foolishly did the 1.1 upgrade to my 60G iPod. I found that, as we all know by now, that all ov my videos that weren't from Quicktime Pro or purchased through iTunes hang after about 30 seconds, and then continues without any audio. But, the really obnoxious part is that my videos that I converted via QuickTime Pro suffered from very strange audio artifacts. These would fall into the category of clicks, purrs, warbles and other strange noises in addition to the audio that is supposed to be there. That pushed me over the line, and I "downgraded" my iPod back to release 1.0. I did the "restore" to completely erase my iPod and then re-loaded it from iTunes. I had already upgraded iTunes, and it has no problems with my now-restored-to-version 1.0 iPod. By the way, you have to edit a system file in order to do the downgrade: Put the ipod in harddisk mode. Edit the file (hidden folder and file) \iPod_Control\Device\SysInfo Replace the line that have the word "buildID" with this line:
buildID: 0x05908000 (6.0)
Then run the original iPod Updater to put 1.0 back onto it. This will leave you with the "feature" that any video that you change the Video Kind to TV Show will not show up on your iPod unless it's in a Video Play List. I actually like this, as it keeps the Video list from being cluttered up.

There are major reception and battery problems with iPhone 3GS after upgrading to iOS 4.2.1.
I can not believe that Apple did not test this for major bugs like this one is.
I am a business user and can not effort to have bad reception. Apple wants to gain in the business clients... I never had this with my former BlackBerrys!
I need a reliable phone not a play thing like this is right now, it just needs it to work propely. And if a major bug like this comes along, fix it immediately. After the iPhone4 story, now this...incredible! Going back to my reliable BlackBerry! It just ain't reliable and takes forever to fix a problem.

I have the same issue after iOS 4.2.1 update. I am using iPhone 3GS officially unlocked by Apple. I tried using different SIM cards and both carriers show same problem when using phone in 3G mode. Phone falls back to EDGE mode showing 'E' from '3G' at start. I have reset the phone and rebooted several times and moved to different cell areas in the city just to verify the problem.
I had no such issues earlier. I also have Nokia E71 which shows full signal and has no such issues.
I have posted the bug on apple iphone feedback page. I hope they Apple will fix the problem and test the release properly on all models before releasing to public.

After the publication in the local file, I see all my pages, but there is a mistake on the page "Blog" where I just can see the top of my page, it's cut and I can't see it entirely, so I can't see the inputs while I should see 3 news or 3 inputs. And it's the same for the "Photos" page where the page is cut, I can't see the photos, and it's just written : "Put the slide show and subscribe".To finish, when I want to activate the comments, it doesn't work neither.

The comments feature is only available when you publish to the MobileMe server, so I don't think you can use it when you publish to a local file.

You are probably correct. I tried all different variations to test it. As long as I quit each document separately, i.e., red dot it, I seem to bring up only one document after that whether I click on the document itself or open it within pages. The same is true with numbers.
Two more questions:
1) can you turn off the "resume" feature? If so, how? I could not find a way to do it.
2) why the "save a version" feature in pages? What happened to the old "save" and "save as" features?

I re set up my Airport network , having had 4 expresses for years doing a good job. I bought another and an express, but then a time capsule after my external drive died. .Problems with Airport setup after buying Version 7 models, (older ones will not upgrade)
I moved house and have fibre network so 38mb/s - they all look ok on the utility, but its not till I saw the App version that they are not compatible as mac will not upgrade the version 6 ones, leaving me with 2 disjointed networks and 7 appliances, 4 of the old , 3 of the new.
my new house is expansive so i wanted the extended range and airplay in each room.
This is not told to customers, and utility doesnt show any issues.
I do not seem to get any range from either network now, - and I'm quite experienced with airport (6 yrs of setting up & using & extending)
Any advice ?

Oracle has changed the Enterprise Manager from version 1.5 to 2.0 .
With the new Oracle8i dataase server another service has been added.
If you want to user the OEM you have to install The Managment Server.
The Managment server has its own user and privileges and is recommended when using OEM.
