Problem with layer nodes adding brightness
Hi all,
I've having an interesting problem: When I add a layer node of the same piece of video - copy and paste to a multilayer or over node for rotoscoping - and go to look at it in the viewer, the image looks extremely washed out. It's like Shake is trying to blend the two images, and combine the color values. The resulting composite looks awful.
Has anyone had a problem similar to this? If so, how did you go about fixing it. I can't seem to find the preference files, and I couldn't find anything at apple's site.
Any help would be much appreciated!
I looked at the autoalpha and clicked it, but the image still is brightened...I
I guess it might also help to explain a little of what I'm doing and how the problem is occuring. I'm creating a storm/tornado scene. My node tree has two copies of the background plate: one for a luma key for the sky removal and the other for the rotoscoped areas in the ground affected by the luma key(road, grass). The tornado and cloud cover are out of Lightwave and rendered with alpha channels.
When I fileIn the clouds and start my multilayer node, everything works great; but when I add the second plate that has the rotoscoped ground, that's when the image doubles in brightness.
It almost appears as though the multilayer node is multiplying the color values, rather than letting me create my composite. The same occurs using any of the Layer Nodes.
I exported my background plate from FCP as an TIFF image sequence for use with Syntheyes. I had thought to export a quicktime file as my background plate to see if Shake just doesn't like the TIFFs from FCP.
I appreciate the thoughts...maybe this info will help.

Problems with fuction keys for brightness
i have laptop hp 15 r006tx Product number: G8D30PA#ACJ
i have problems with functions keys for brightness , actually it does't works i can't actually adjust brightness, please help me.....................OK...
I was right. You have no graphics driver installed for the Intel HD graphics adapter.
I am very surprised you were able to install the nVidia driver because usually you get an error that states you need to install the Intel graphics driver first.
Once you install this driver, the Microsoft Basic Display adapter should be replaced by an Intel HD graphics adapter and you should be able to adjust the screen brightness.
Make sure you have installed this Intel chipset driver first and reboot. If you have done this already, you can skip this step.
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-130504-1&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en...
Next, install the Intel HD graphics driver and reboot. This driver is for W8.1. If you installed W8, you need a different graphics driver.

I am having weird problem intermittently with adding calls or merging them or swapping them. The issue happens 8 out of 10 times whenever I try to do a conference call. This issue came up after I upgraded to 8,1.2. Never experienced this in 8.1.1 or previous version.
Some of the scenarios that I have experienced is:
1. While on the call, when I try to add a new contact, it just doesn't dial the second number.
2. Sometimes the second number gets dialed, cannot merge the calls.
3. After talking to the second person, cannot go back to the first call.
I am very sure that this is not a carrier issue as it worked flawlessly before upgrade.
Anyone experienced this before? Any suggestions?Thanks for the above infromation. I did a complete restore of my iphone through iTunes connecting it to my computer via cable. iOS8.1.3 was re-installed. I then added back my settings and data which were backed up prior to restoring the phone. I still have the same issue with conferencing and adding a third caller. When I hit the [+] box, the existing caller is not put on hold. The phone appears to be making a call but it is not dialing to the 3rd party. Shortly thereafter, the Merge icon appears but there is no active call to merge with. I have tried this several times using my wife's iPhone and our home phone to set up a 3-way call. I know it is not working because the 3rd phone (our home phone) does not ring. Is this a hardware problem? My wife's iPhone 6 works with no problem and was purchased the same time I purchased my iPhone 6. Probably time for a visit to the Apple Store unless there is another solution.

Data slice inconsistency problem with hierarchy nodes
Hi Experts,
We want to lock planning tables from function. We create the appropriate data slices but there are problems with (material group) hierarchy nodes.
If I give the node as input variable to the function it causes inconsistency in the data slice. If I choose and add this node to the lock in modeler, the problem is the same.
We are using the following variables to create a data slice:
0VERSION
0VTYTYPE
0COMP_CODE
ZGRMAT (developed material group)
Z_YEARCR (developed yera created)
The problem also exist if I set an another type of node e.g. destination country (0RECIPCNTRY) instead of material group.
For me, the problem seems to be generic.
Do you have any idea?
Many thanks in advance

Note 1070608 - Lowflag field is not valid
The implementation of this note resolves the problem.

Problem with filling nodes of a context with data
hi,
i've got the following problem with filling a controller context:
the context of the controller looks like:
Context
|-Node1 0..n singleton
|-Subnode1 0..n singleton
| |-SubVal1.1
| |-SubVal1.2
|-Subnode2 0..n singleton
| |-Subval2.1
| |-Subval2.2
|-Val1.1
|-Val1.2
that means every Element of Node1 should have its own Subnode-Elements & Val1-Values
in wdDoInit() of the controller I fill the context like this:
Collection Node1, SubNode1, SubNode2
for (Iterator iter = Node1.iterator(); iter.hasNext;) {
newNode1NodeElement = wdContext.createNode1Element();
newNode1NodeElement.set... //setting the values
wdContext.nodeNode1().addElement(newNode1NodeElement);
for (Iterator iter2=Subnode1.iterator(); iter2.hasNext;) {
newSubnode1NodeElement = wdContext.createSubnode1Element();
newSubNode1NodeElement.set... // setting the SubVal1.x
wdContext.nodeSubnode1.addElement(newSubnode1NodeElement);
for (Iterator iter3=SubNode2.iterator(); iter3.hasNext;) {
newSubnode2NodeElement = wdContext.createSubnode2Element();
newSubNode2NodeElement.set... // setting the SubVal2.x
wdContext.nodeSubnode2.addElement(newSubnode2NodeElement);
i've got the impression, that <b>all</b> my SubNodes are filled in the <b>first</b> Node1-Element. is there an error in the code above? because in the first place, i see every values in the first Element of Node1-views and if i navigate to the next Element of Node1, every views are empty.
for every Node (Node1, Subnode1, Subnode2) i've got an own view, that maps its context to the corresponding Node of the controller context, e.g for the SubNode1-View:
Context Context
| ....
|- ViewNode ---> ..|- Subnode1
|- SubVal1.1 ---> .. |-SubVal1.1
|- SubVal1.2 ---> .. |-SubVal1.2
in these views, i navigate through the nodes via
wdContext.nodeViewNode().move...()
in the SubNode1-View i see the SubVal1.1, SubVal1.2 (that's what i want) <b>and</b> additional SubVal2.1, SubVal2.2 (that's what I don't want...)
kind regards, achim
ps: i've studied the Master/Detail-Tutorial and i think the choice for cardinality 0..n and type singleton is correct in my case.hmm, let's look at the code:
for (Iteration Node1) {
newNode1NodeElement = wdContext.createNode1Element();
wdContext.nodeNode1().addElement(newNode1NodeElement);
for (Iteration SubNode1) {
newSubNode1NodeElement = wdContext.createSubNodeXElement();
newNode1NodeElement.nodeSubNode1().addElement(newSubNode1NodeElement);
for (Iteration SubNode1.1) {
newSubNode1.1NodeElement = <b>wdContext</b>.createSubNode1.1Element();
newSubNode1NodeElement.nodeSubNode1.1.addElement(newSubNode1.1NodeElement);
for (Iteration SubNode2) {
newSubNode2NodeElement = wdContext.createSubNode2Element();
newNode1NodeElement.nodeSubNode2.addElement(newSubNode2NodeElement);
is there an error in creating the SubNode1.1-Node (bold line)?
if the code is correct, perhaps it's only a viewing problem:
i use views that point on every node and display the values in that node. if i move in the view for Node1 to another node, the values for SubNode1 point to the correct values too, but the values for SubNode1.1 still stay on the old values. is the move of a grandfather node not correctly propagated to his first child?

Problem with layer sets opening
Hi,
I have a problem open layer sets. In my script I get layers index and then iterate throught this layers.
Here is the script:
function getAllLayersByIndex(){
function getNumberLayers(){
var ref = new ActionReference();
ref.putProperty( charIDToTypeID("Prpr") , charIDToTypeID("NmbL") )
ref.putEnumerated( charIDToTypeID("Dcmn"), charIDToTypeID("Ordn"), charIDToTypeID("Trgt") );
return executeActionGet(ref).getInteger(charIDToTypeID("NmbL"));
function hasBackground() {
var ref = new ActionReference();
ref.putProperty( charIDToTypeID("Prpr"), charIDToTypeID( "Bckg" ));
ref.putEnumerated(charIDToTypeID( "Lyr " ),charIDToTypeID( "Ordn" ),charIDToTypeID( "Back" ))//bottom Layer/background
var desc = executeActionGet(ref);
var res = desc.getBoolean(charIDToTypeID( "Bckg" ));
return res
function getLayerType(idx,prop) {
var ref = new ActionReference();
ref.putIndex(charIDToTypeID( "Lyr " ), idx);
var desc = executeActionGet(ref);
var type = desc.getEnumerationValue(prop);
var res = typeIDToStringID(type);
return res
function getLayerVisibilityByIndex( idx ) {
var ref = new ActionReference();
ref.putProperty( charIDToTypeID("Prpr") , charIDToTypeID( "Vsbl" ));
ref.putIndex( charIDToTypeID( "Lyr " ), idx );
return executeActionGet(ref).getBoolean(charIDToTypeID( "Vsbl" ));;
var cnt = getNumberLayers()+1;
var res = new Array();
if(hasBackground()){
var i = 0;
}else{
var i = 1;
var prop = stringIDToTypeID("layerSection");
for(i;i<cnt;i++){
var temp = getLayerType(i,prop);
if(temp != "layerSectionEnds") res.push(i);
return res;
function getLayerVisibilityByIndex( idx ) {
var ref = new ActionReference();
ref.putProperty( charIDToTypeID("Prpr") , charIDToTypeID( "Vsbl" ));
ref.putIndex( charIDToTypeID( "Lyr " ), idx );
return executeActionGet(ref).getBoolean(charIDToTypeID( "Vsbl" ));
function makeActiveByIndex( idx, visible ){
var desc = new ActionDescriptor();
var ref = new ActionReference();
ref.putIndex(charIDToTypeID( "Lyr " ), idx)
desc.putReference( charIDToTypeID( "null" ), ref );
desc.putBoolean( charIDToTypeID( "MkVs" ), visible );
executeAction( charIDToTypeID( "slct" ), desc, DialogModes.NO );
var groups = getAllLayersByIndex();
for(var i = groups.length-1; i >= 0 ; i--) {
makeActiveByIndex( groups[i], true );
....working with layers....
I think, my problem is in function makeActiveByIndex, because it doesn't make active a folder and doesn't open it.
You can see it on this picture. Active layer set is "Skupina 1" and it is in layer set "hlavicka". But "hlavicka" is not open. WHY??
Can you help me fix this problem??
Thank you DomaneniHi, for the past days I've worked on a script to toogle opening and closing layeSets, I've taken the code that TeddyBear posted here: http://ps-scripts.com/bb/viewtopic.php?p=14773 and adjusted it a little bit, and that's what I came up with, I hope it will help you:

Problem with Folio Builder - added articles are "spinning"
Hello,
today we are experiencing strange problems with Folio Builder. We are adding new artcles to folio created today and all added articles have same issue - spinning wheel in folio builder. Such articles we can't see in Content viewer until we delete existing folio.
Thanks for helpHi,
Could be that there was a network problem when uploading the InDesign documents.
Try to select the articles and delete them with the trashcan. And then reupload the documents from InDesign.
Good luck! -
Photoshop Actions: Problem with layer groups
I have recorded several photoshop actions with multiple adjustment layers in layer groups. They work perfectly fine, as long as I do not run a second action with a layer group in it.
As soon as I run a second action with layer groups, the layer order is completely random and messed up. How can I avoid this problem?Best practices: Usage

I have problems with autom. discover of nodes.The services Man.server and agent are started, but i get
the errormsg:Discovery failed:VNI-4009: Cannot contact agent on the node.
Can someone help me.
Thanks.what os are you running?
on my linux box, what i did was to delete *.q and services.ora from $ORACLE_HOME/network/agent then manually put in my instance in tnsnames.ora using the example used in http://www.mike-devlin.com/oracle/tnsnames_ora.htm. i made sure that the instance was up then ran lsnrctl start and agentctl start. OMS was able to discover my database automatically after that.
i do have a feeling that you are using Win2k/XP, but the files i mentioned can be located in the same directory. instead of lsnrctl start and agentctl start, you can go to Administrative Tools>Sevices and start OracleOra92TNSListener and OracleOra92Agent
i would recommend, however, trying to use netca when recreating the tnsnames.ora. it just didn't work with mine so i had to do it manually. -

Problem with childs nodes and automatic key mapping in a Data Object
Hi experts!
I'm doing the service order tutorial from the mobile help at [this link|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwmobile71/helpdata/en/21/9b5b924c3b434fba4767731794b029/frameset.htm] and I have a problem...
In the topic "Modeling the Equipment Data Object", says you have to mark the "Automatic Key Mapping" checkbox. So when I had to create a third child node ( the location node ) the system raised an exception with the message "Deselect automatic key mapping flag for more than two-level nodes". I'm trying deselecting the flag and creating the location node, but when I want mark again the automatic key mapping flag, this is disabled.
What can I do to solve this and create the three child nodes with the flag marked? It's a configuration thing?
Any help it's very welcome. Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Simon.The thing is: Its not allowed to use automatic keymapping if you have more than two levels. This is why the message showed up, and this is why its been disabled.
What automatic keymapping does: Figures out automatically which child node belongs to which parent (by guessing from the field name and type, which fields in the child correspond to which key fields of the parent).
On three levels, this becomes more complicated => Its disabled.
How to do keymapping yourself instead of having the DOE do it automatically: Do 'Explicit keymapping' from each child to its parent. Explicit keymapping is done by clicking on the corresponding menu button in the child node. Here you need to associate child node fields (they need not be key fields of the child, but they are allowed to be that as well) to each of its parent nodes key fields (so that each child can be associated to its parent).

Problem with referencing nodes
Hey I am having an odd problem writing a program that uses a Stack to build an expression tree. I have the Stack class set up and my main so that I can locate operators and make a new Node with the operator and put it on the top of the stack, and do the same with the operands. However when I go to push the operator Node (i.e. assign the topOfStack field in my LLStack class to the node I pass) it loses the character in the operator field of my Node. Any idea as to why this happens? I can build the operand stack fine. Here are my classes:
public class LLStack {
private IntSLLNode topOfStack;
public LLStack(){
topOfStack=null;
public boolean isEmpty(){
return topOfStack==null;
public void push(IntSLLNode el){
topOfStack= new IntSLLNode(el, topOfStack);
public IntSLLNode pop(){
if(isEmpty())
return null;
else
IntSLLNode top=topOfStack;
topOfStack=topOfStack.next;
return top;
}main method
Scanner scanString = new Scanner(System.in);
System.out.println("Enter a postfix expression: ");
String inputString= scanString.nextLine();
LLStack operatorStack = new LLStack(); //create new stacks
LLStack treeStack = new LLStack();
for(int i=0;i<inputString.length();i++){
if(inputString.charAt(i)=='+'|inputString.charAt(i)=='*'|inputString.charAt(i)=='-'){
IntSLLNode optr= new IntSLLNode(inputString.charAt(i));
operatorStack.push(optr);
else
IntSLLNode opnd= new IntSLLNode(Integer.parseInt(Character.toString(inputString.charAt(i))));
treeStack.push(opnd);
}In other words...when I apply this line
topOfStack= new IntSLLNode(el, topOfStack);The data in the operator field in "el" does not get assigned to the same field in topOfStack. In Eclipse it shows it as blank. Any ideas why?oaklandathletic wrote:
Fixed it.Funny how explaining a problem for others helps you to work out the solution yourself, isn't it?

Problem with BAPI_PO_CHANGE in adding services
Hello,
I have a problem in using BAPI_PO_CHANGE in adding new services for an existing po_item . I fill the table POITEM, POITEMX. Then I fill the POACCOUNT and POACCOUNTX table. Lastly I fill the table POSERVICES, POSRVACCESSVALUES. After running it with commit step. I get as return:
The purchase order .... was updated. But if I look at my purchase order with trans. me23n, there was nothing added. Thus, I do not know what I forget. So it will be great, if someone can provide an example in correct filling the table.
In Table POSERVICES I add for the field PCKG_NO the value : 0000000001, is this correct? because I will add new services positions.
Thanks in advance for your support.
Kind regards,
ErkanHello Anuradha,
yes, I used the BAPI Commit command but it did not work.
Kind regards,
Erkan
