Problem with license (Europe/USA)

Hi,
I have a problem - I want to buy some adobe licence (for example flash cs4) and I dont know is that legal - I have small company register in Poland, but I want to buy license from US. Is that legal ? - buying license in US and using it in European country (I pay additional tax of course).

I'd recommend checking out this page, which has contact information to check on the retailer: http://www.adobe.com/aboutadobe/antipiracy/avoid.html. There's also a link to check who is an authorized reseller, and if the company you're looking to purchase from isn't authorized there's a chance it isn't legit. Contact the email address listed if you need more info, they'll know the most about this - I'm not involved in licensing or activation in any way, so they'll be the most reputable source of information.

can someone help me here....i installed this trial in my virtual machine, but now i'm having problems with licensing it. I have requested license like it say's in the instalation, but i still can't login with BCUSER, only with SAP*...here are some screenshot's of the SLICENSE transaction.
and then i got the file by email to install the license, it turned green (in the new licenses)...

Symptom
When attempting to start Crystal Reports XI, the following error message appears:

Cause :
The error message occurs because the CommonFiles entry has the wrong path in the registry.

To resolve the error message
Click Start > Run. The Run dialog box appears.
Type "regedit" in the Open: text field. Click OK. The Registry Editor appears.
Navigate to the following key: HKEY_LOCLAL_MACHINESOFTWAREBusiness ObjectsSuite 11.5Crystal Reports.
Double-click the CommonFiles string. The Edit String dialog box appears.
Ensure that the path points to the location of <installation directory>Common3.5 in.

Edit the path as necessary.
Click OK. Close the Registry Editor.
Crystal Reports starts successfully.

Problem with License server

Hi All,
I am facing problem with license server. We have installed SAP Business One , Did License import, Installed patch 15 and than again DTW and every thing. Now when I want to connect through DTW, it gives error messege : connection to license server failed . Any help on it will be highly appriciated. Thanks,

Hi Sabita,
Is it just the DTW that fails (ie can you log in to the SBO client)?
In newer versions of the DTW, the License Server setting in the log in screen needs to have both the server name (or IP address) and port number. For example:
MYSERVER:30000
where MYSERVER is the name of the server where the license service is installed and 30000 is the port number it is running under (30000 is the default).

I faced similar challenge. Re-installation did not solve the problem due to unsuccessful un-installation of ‘Microsoft Click to run 2010’. The following steps worked for me. Please use your discretion to try and see if it works for you too..
1 Uninstall Microsoft office Starter 2010. If
‘MS click to run 2010’ doesn't get uninstalled use Microsoft fix it tool meant for installing and uninstalling programmes, to uninstall the same.
2 Download ‘Microsoft Office Starter 2010’ from internet.
3 Before launching, right click the executable file and click the 'properties'. Go to
‘compatability’ tab and choose appropriate 'compatibility mode' as per your OS. Tick the check box to use admin privilege under
privilege level section.
4 Launch the executable to install Microsoft Office Starter 2010 afresh. It should go through four steps during installation now. Complete the steps and enjoy. Thanks !

Problem with license file... ( Bad license file)

i have upgraded to wl6.1 ( actually i still have wl6.0 running under c:\bea
as well)... but having problems starting up the server..
its complaining about there beinf an empty license file.. when i know there
is a license file.. and i hhhave correctly run the UpdateLicense.cmd file tp
upgrade it with details from the license_new.bea file.

Problem with "License is expired"

Hello guys,
I've installed the trial version of Photoshop. Now I bought the software and thus I put in the serial on the box.
Then I should agree to some License Agreements and so on and clicked "YES"... and the program suddenly was closed.
When I tried to reopen it, only a window popped up with "License is expired".
I already tried to run the LicenseRecovery by adobe.com (3 times) but it did not help.
Isnt there any file on my PC that saves the activation or so?
How can I fix the problem?

I meant the CD case by the word "box". Sorry, I forgot the proper word for it.
And it is 100% the right serial. The problem is really with my PC (the files that Adobe created on it).

is pretty helpful. But unfortunately my OS is Vista and so I can't open my "Windows: \Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe PCD\pcd.db"
because I do not have access to it. Does anyone know how I can delete this file?
Edit: There is another problem: When I set the date to May 31, 2009 and open Photoshop, there are also just these License Agreements and when I agree, the window closes but nothing new opens.

Problems with license upgrade on AIP-SSM

Hi guys:
I have a problem with my AIP-SSM, recently I download the latest license and I need to install in my AIP but when I try to do this I receive this error:
"errSystemError-idsPackageMgr: digital signature of the update file was not valid, use CCO to replace corrupted file"
So I download the license again, because maybe was corrupted, but I receive the same error at the time I want to install it.
Does anybody knows what this error means?

It sounds like you are attempting to install a .lic license-key file via the Update Sensor section (which is used for software upgrades/updates instead). If you are trying to install a .lic license-key file, you can do that from IDM or IME's Configuration > Sensor Management > Licensing section. Ensure the Update From: option is set to License File, then click the Browse Local… button and locate/select the .lic license-key file on your local client machine. Finally, click the Update License button to upload and install the license-key file onto the sensor.
If you try to install a .lic license-key file via the Update Sensor section, then you will encounter the error message you noted.

Problems with License extension

Hello,
i have a problem with extending of the minisap license. I follow the steps on the site www.sap.com/solutions/netweaver/minisap.asp and executed the saplicense.exe -get, but the window was opened and directly closed. So I didn't get any hardwarekey.
Further the site described, I should follow the introduction on "Installing the SAP License" on CD1 in the mini_doc.html document, but on the CD1 there wasn't no such document.
What can I do now? I need the extension very urgent.

Problems with using non usa keyboard (Mac OS X 10.6.7)

I have MacBook Pro, (Mac OS X version 10.6.7), slovenian keyboard and when i type in Code View or Design View one of slovenian characters (š, č, ć , đ, ž) it is not written correctly. They are all written correctly if i for example write them in Find Window (Edit --> Find and Replace) etc. This is extremly annoying and i don't know what to do. I don't have similar problem with any of other mac programs only with macromedia ones. Any suggestions what can i do?

Is the language (regional time zones and languages) correctly set? If not then you need to make sure it is Slovenian to matcvh your keyboard.
It is my experience that you can't mix and match the keyboards. For example, you can't use US standard Keyboard on a UK set system because the currency and date formats are all different in these two countries and so the pound sign £ and # will interefere with your work. This is just one example but I am sure there are many. The puctuation marks are all mixed up etc etc.

Adobe Photoshop problem with license

I have bought Adobe Photoshop CS4 (box, license for 3 computers) in 2009. I've used it on two computers with activation, but one computer had formating, and second I've lost. I don't know how to 'unactivate' them now, and when I trying to activate product on my actual computer - it says that all license keys are in use. I have whole box and papers, even facture as a proof for purchase. What I should do?

Problems with licenser server (upgrading and uninstall)

Hi all,
i try to upgrade a 2007A Sp01 PL09 License Server to 8.8 PL12. During the Upgrade process i get th error messge:
Error -1603 Fatal error during installation
Consult windows installer help (Msi.chm) or MSDN fpr more information
i have tried this with the wizard and the single package.
SB any idea how i can fix this?
I have also tried to uninstall the server tools but this ist also dont work. After i press "Uninstall" it happens nothing. if i retry the uninstall a few minutes later i get a message like "uninstall was incomplete".
Can anyone help me?

I concern about the patch level version of B1 2007A you are trying to upgrade. It should be the latest patch. Minimum patch level of B1 2007A to upgrade to B1 8.8 PL12 is SAP B1 2007A SP01 PL10.
Check if the package of patch level installer is not corrupted.

Problem with License key

I have a license key that I get through my schools webside for the Adobe Design Standard CS6 (mac)
Is there a reason as to why I keep getting "Please enter a valid serial number"? I've downloaded off the adobe site before and never had a problem. I have a history log on both my schools website and the "my products" section to verify that all the older keys I've used match up with the keys activated on the Adobe site. Please Help!

Problem with license file

Hi I have an issue. My company uses SAP Business One and purchased 40 licenses. Because of the high cost, the company made a decision not to purchase a maintenance contract. At one of our sites one of our servers with 12 licenses, which is also the domain controller, crashed and the domain had to be rebuilt, resulting in a change to the hardware key. As a result users cannot log on to SBO because the license server is requesting a new license file. Although we were given an S-Number, whenever we attempt to access the customer portal to download a new license file, we receive a message that the user is not authorized because we do not have a maintenance contract. When we contacted the partner, it was confirmed that we must have a maintenance contract to download a new license file. We were also informed that we would have to pay retroactive for each year that we did not pay for a maintenance contract and it would better to purchase new licenses. Since then everyone at SAP we have contacted has been reluctant to assist us. Our accounting has come to a grinding halt for a week now.
Is this correct. If it is then this is ridiculous. We have researched and It would be more cost effective to purchase a total new accounting suite than to pay retroactive on maintenance contracts to SAP which is supposed to be optional . We did purchase our licenses which are still valid from SAP and not from another company. I can understand being denied any patches or upgrades in the absence of a maintenance contract or even paying for a support ticket to obtain a new license file, but not denial of access to our license which has already been paid for. (sounds like a legal issue). Your feedback in getting this issue promptly resolved will be greatly appreciated.

This happens if the super-administrator is created before the first installation is assigned to the user´s customer number. You can check if you have full authorization via My Profile u2192 Display my authorizations and compare it with the list of all availalbe authorizations (quick link /user-admin u2192 Documentation u2192 1.3 Available authorizations). In case you do not have full authorization, create a message (quick link /message) with component XX-SER-SAPSMP-USR and request the assignment of the missing authorizations.
Also, I can't send a message as I don't have authorization.
So, I have 2 problems - I need to get the license key and I need to get full authorization. Is there some way that I can contact SAP directly to request that I get a license key. I'm totally stuck unless I get this resolved. I appreciate your expert help.

Problem with License feature in 2821

Hi,
Recently i was updating a router which had 2 ios images(spservices and advanceipservices). I needed to select advance ip services, so i ran the boot command on the router and then reloaded it.
My problem is that after the router boots up its not showing any license feature
I ran the command #sh license feature and #show license detail .
But its not showing any license.
showing error - % Error: No License Found

Hello Aateek,
2800 Series routers (along with all Genration 1 ISR's- 1800/2800/3800's) do not use licenses.
The advipservices feature set is loaded just by changing which IOS you boot to. In order to confirm you are using the advipservices feature set, perform a
#sh version
the output should start like what's below, only you want to see ADVIPSERVICES instead of ADVENTERPRISE and then whatever version you have. Any specific commands or features you need should work as soon as you confirm this. If the #sh version output says you are still using ipservices, you need to check your boot statements to make sure your router is trying to load the correct IOS file (you can watch this during the boot process if you have a direct console to the device).

Problem with License MAC after change Time Zone in UCCX 8.02

Please I need Help.
The last weekend, we changed the Time Zone in we Cluster of UCCX 8.02.
Now when entry to administration page, show a warning that says.
“The Unified CCX Systems is currently using a license that has a grace period of 30 days”
How i can solve this problem. I must go back with the change , and return time zone previous ?

Welcome to the wonderful world of Cisco Licensing with 8.5 (perhaps 8.0 as well). Changes to the IP address, hostname, DNS, Time Zone, and a few other fields will change your License MAC and invalidate all licenses.
Send an email to [email protected] asking them to rehost your license for the new license mac.
