Problem with license in SAP_NetWeaver701SR1_2008 TRial

Hi there my friends,
can someone help me here....i installed this trial in my virtual machine, but now i'm having problems with licensing it. I have requested license like it say's in the instalation, but i still can't login with BCUSER, only with SAP*...here are some screenshot's of the SLICENSE transaction.
and then i got the file by email to install the license, it turned green (in the new licenses)...

Symptom

It is strongly recommended that you make a backup copy of the registry files before you edit the registry. To resolve the error message
Click Start > Run. The Run dialog box appears.
Type "regedit" in the Open: text field. Click OK. The Registry Editor appears.
Navigate to the following key: HKEY_LOCLAL_MACHINESOFTWAREBusiness ObjectsSuite 11.5Crystal Reports.
Double-click the CommonFiles string. The Edit String dialog box appears.
Ensure that the path points to the location of <installation directory>Common3.5 in.
For example, the default location is the following: C:Program FilesBusiness ObjectsCommon3.5 in.
Edit the path as necessary.
Click OK. Close the Registry Editor.
Crystal Reports starts successfully.

Is it just the DTW that fails (ie can you log in to the SBO client)?
In newer versions of the DTW, the License Server setting in the log in screen needs to have both the server name (or IP address) and port number. For example:
MYSERVER:30000
where MYSERVER is the name of the server where the license service is installed and 30000 is the port number it is running under (30000 is the default).

I faced similar challenge. Re-installation did not solve the problem due to unsuccessful un-installation of ‘Microsoft Click to run 2010’. The following steps worked for me. Please use your discretion to try and see if it works for you too..
1 Uninstall Microsoft office Starter 2010. If
‘MS click to run 2010’ doesn't get uninstalled use Microsoft fix it tool meant for installing and uninstalling programmes, to uninstall the same.
2 Download ‘Microsoft Office Starter 2010’ from internet.
3 Before launching, right click the executable file and click the 'properties'. Go to
‘compatability’ tab and choose appropriate 'compatibility mode' as per your OS. Tick the check box to use admin privilege under
privilege level section.
4 Launch the executable to install Microsoft Office Starter 2010 afresh. It should go through four steps during installation now. Complete the steps and enjoy. Thanks !

Problem with "License is expired"

Hello guys,
I've installed the trial version of Photoshop. Now I bought the software and thus I put in the serial on the box.
Then I should agree to some License Agreements and so on and clicked "YES"... and the program suddenly was closed.
When I tried to reopen it, only a window popped up with "License is expired".
I already tried to run the LicenseRecovery by adobe.com (3 times) but it did not help.
Isnt there any file on my PC that saves the activation or so?
How can I fix the problem?

I meant the CD case by the word "box". Sorry, I forgot the proper word for it.
And it is 100% the right serial. The problem is really with my PC (the files that Adobe created on it).

is pretty helpful. But unfortunately my OS is Vista and so I can't open my "Windows: \Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe PCD\pcd.db"
because I do not have access to it. Does anyone know how I can delete this file?
Edit: There is another problem: When I set the date to May 31, 2009 and open Photoshop, there are also just these License Agreements and when I agree, the window closes but nothing new opens.

Problems with PD 16.5 trial

I downloaded an evaluation copy of PowerDesigner 16.5, Enterprise Architecture edition and installed it immediately to my 64-it Win7 Pro machine (I run the installation procedure as an administrator). Attached is a screenshot of settings summary screen, confirming that this is indeed a trial package.
When I start the shell, I get "Trial period has expired" (screenshot attached).
In c:\programData\PowerDesigner 16 folder two Sybase asset management files say:

FlexLM license server is not running on my machine, there is no c:\flexlm folder, and only license.dat or *.lic files I have are associated with other products.
What am I missing? Shouldn't the download have included a 15-day standalone seat local license file? Do I have to obtain it separately?

Btw. concerning the PD crashes: it turned out to be a problem with hardware accelerated graphics.
I ran PD from a Windows Virtual Machine using VMWare Fusion.
VMWare Fusion supports hardware accelerated graphics in the VM - if and only if you the VMWare tools running inside the VM are properly corresponding to the VMWare Fusion version hosting the VM.
For me this was not the case, since the VMWare tools did not properly auto-update.
As a result, with 3D hardware acceleration activated in the VMWare Fusion Settings, every program that potentially makes use of hardware accelerated graphics (PD, Visio, Internet Explorer etc.) crashed.
Not sure this helps anyone out there. But if you are facing PD crashes and also face crashes of other programs like Internet Explorer or Visio, malfunctioning hardware acceleration might be the cause of it.

Problems with Premiere Elements 9 Trial

Hi everyone,
I have just installed PE9 trial on a Windows 7 Pro i5 computer with 4 GB ram. When I move the mouse in the timeline view it creates fine black lines in the timecode bar. If I move the mouse slowly enough it will actually blacken all the timecode readings. Additionally when the clip is playing, the Timeline marker obliterates (by blackening) the information on all the tracks as it moves along. I have a NVIDIA GT 220 video card with the latest driver from the NVIDIA web site. Does anyone have any ideas - or have I set something up wrong? I'm a bit leery about buying the full version until this problem is resolved.

I decided to risk it and buy the full version, however the problem still remains. I have followed the recommended steps and the only thing that seems to work is to disable my antivirus program (ZoneAlarm Internet Extreme - latest version), start PE 9, and then restart the antivirus. It's a work around, but it still seems to be problem with PE 9 (I've used ZA for years and it has caused very few problems with other program).

i have upgraded to wl6.1 ( actually i still have wl6.0 running under c:\bea
as well)... but having problems starting up the server..
its complaining about there beinf an empty license file.. when i know there
is a license file.. and i hhhave correctly run the UpdateLicense.cmd file tp
upgrade it with details from the license_new.bea file.

Problem with German InDesign CS4 Trial

Since the last week im trying to use the Adobe InDesign CS4 Trial Version on my Computer but i does not work really. I have downloadet the German Version but after the installation it runs in Englisch and the Toolbars on the left and the right side are missing. Before i'm using the CS3 Version at the same Computer and it works perfekt. I tried the CS4 Trial on an different Computer in our office and it works perfekt but this Computer have Microsoft Windows XP Professional.
I read in the System requirements that Vista 64bit is not zertified but why does the CS3 work perfekt and the CS4 make those Problems?
I hope anybody can held me......

PHENOM Quad Core 2,4Ghz Prozessor
8 GB RAM

I have been struggling with bookmarking issues for years here on CS4. I am not bookmarking text frames, simply bookmarking pages, but I have been having problems as described. I thought I researched it thoroughly online, but I was so relieved to find and try this option today.
I have a 50 page InDesign price book. Every page is bookmarked. After exporting as a PDF some of the bookmarks work fine and some take me to the wrong page. In InDesign CS4, I can click through the bookmarks and everything works as expected. Every bookmark takes me to the page I assigned it to...perfect! However, once exported as a PDF I have issues. In Preview (Mac OS 10.8) or Adobe Reader, some bookmarks are fine and some direct me to the incorrect page. I tried Adobe Reader thinking maybe the issue was with Preview, but not only is the problem with both programs--they error consistently. The bookmarks take me to the same incorrect page in both Preview and Reader.
Exporting as a INX file and reimporting into InDesign CS4 is the only way I have been able to get this to work. I originally switched to InDesign for two reasons: 1. I was experiencing the same problem in Adobe Acrobat when assigning bookmarks so I hoped using another program would help. 2. I am rebuilding the price book page by page in InDesign. (Some pages just pull from a PDF document and some are original--created in InDesign CS4. Eventually all pages will be InDesign original files. I'm not sure those details matter, but that is what I have for content in my document.)

Problems with license upgrade on AIP-SSM

Hi guys:
I have a problem with my AIP-SSM, recently I download the latest license and I need to install in my AIP but when I try to do this I receive this error:
"errSystemError-idsPackageMgr: digital signature of the update file was not valid, use CCO to replace corrupted file"
So I download the license again, because maybe was corrupted, but I receive the same error at the time I want to install it.
Does anybody knows what this error means?

It sounds like you are attempting to install a .lic license-key file via the Update Sensor section (which is used for software upgrades/updates instead). If you are trying to install a .lic license-key file, you can do that from IDM or IME's Configuration > Sensor Management > Licensing section. Ensure the Update From: option is set to License File, then click the Browse Local… button and locate/select the .lic license-key file on your local client machine. Finally, click the Update License button to upload and install the license-key file onto the sensor.
If you try to install a .lic license-key file via the Update Sensor section, then you will encounter the error message you noted.

Problems with License extension

i have a problem with extending of the minisap license. I follow the steps on the site www.sap.com/solutions/netweaver/minisap.asp and executed the saplicense.exe -get, but the window was opened and directly closed. So I didn't get any hardwarekey.
Further the site described, I should follow the introduction on "Installing the SAP License" on CD1 in the mini_doc.html document, but on the CD1 there wasn't no such document.
What can I do now? I need the extension very urgent.

Adobe Photoshop problem with license

I have bought Adobe Photoshop CS4 (box, license for 3 computers) in 2009. I've used it on two computers with activation, but one computer had formating, and second I've lost. I don't know how to 'unactivate' them now, and when I trying to activate product on my actual computer - it says that all license keys are in use. I have whole box and papers, even facture as a proof for purchase. What I should do?

Apple made a decision which boggles my mind: there are two versions of iWork, one you purchase online getting a serial number you apply to the demo. The demo contains the full contents of the program, you lose nothing by purchasing the program this way. The other version of iWork is a boxed copy, the same as the demo+serial# except that this version requires no serial number. Mixing the two creates unhappy people
If you download the demo and then purchase the boxed version you must remove the demo (and all support files and preferences associated with the demo) before installing the disc copy. If you don't, the program thinks you need a serial number and continues working in demo mode until it expires.
If you can't wait for the box to arrive, why not just download the demo and purchase the serial# online from Apple?

Problems with licenser server (upgrading and uninstall)

i try to upgrade a 2007A Sp01 PL09 License Server to 8.8 PL12. During the Upgrade process i get th error messge:
Error -1603 Fatal error during installation
Consult windows installer help (Msi.chm) or MSDN fpr more information
i have tried this with the wizard and the single package.
SB any idea how i can fix this?
I have also tried to uninstall the server tools but this ist also dont work. After i press "Uninstall" it happens nothing. if i retry the uninstall a few minutes later i get a message like "uninstall was incomplete".
Can anyone help me?

I concern about the patch level version of B1 2007A you are trying to upgrade. It should be the latest patch. Minimum patch level of B1 2007A to upgrade to B1 8.8 PL12 is SAP B1 2007A SP01 PL10.
Check if the package of patch level installer is not corrupted.

You could use the new 'Trial reset' feature of Ai 17.1.0 to again get back your trial for 30 days.
Maybe the uninstallation was un-clean and hence you are not able to install AI again. You could use the cleaner tool from <http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html?promo id=GYTAU> to clean up remnants of AI CC only. Afterwards, launch Creative Cloud Desktop App to see the option to 'Try' AI again. Click that to install AI 17.1.0.

Problem with License key

I have a license key that I get through my schools webside for the Adobe Design Standard CS6 (mac)
Is there a reason as to why I keep getting "Please enter a valid serial number"? I've downloaded off the adobe site before and never had a problem. I have a history log on both my schools website and the "my products" section to verify that all the older keys I've used match up with the keys activated on the Adobe site. Please Help!
