PROBLEM WITH LIMEWIRE FOLDER

My Limewire songs are showing up in the Source Directory, but are not transferring to the IPOD or ITUNES library. How to I transfer them to be able to play them on the IPOD?

Problem with "watch folder" and Windows 7

I have just switched to Windows 7 and Elements 9 - so far things are working quite well, but I am having a problem with "Watch folder" It is watching my odf folder "My Pictures" but all my new photos are going into Libraries/Pictures and PSE9 won't let me add that to the watch folder section. I am afraid that if I ask PSE9 to Get Photos and Videos / From Files and folders I may get a whole buch of duplicates in my Organizer.
Any help would be appreciated.

It sounds like either the system on your disk drive is corrupt or the disk drive died.
Assuming the information in your profile is correct then boot from the install DVD for you MBP. From there you should be able to run Disk Utility to check out the disk drive.

Extremely annoying problem with user folder name in windows 8.1

Here is the thing:
Friend of mine bought the laptop (very strong and expensive asus - republic of gamers) with installed windows 8.1 on it, but after a few days only I bought that computer from him because he didn't need it and he didn't use it at all!
But, his name stayed in the windows. I changed all user accounts names and everything which was possible to be changed, but when i go to C/users his name is still there on folder!
I can say it is very annoying because that laptop cost almost 3.000 USD and I still need to look at someone else's name in my user folder!
I tried to change "ProfileImagePath" in: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList\ .... but after that windows logged in as a temporary profile and I spend another hour to figure out
how to reverse the thing!
How is possible that some so basic and simple things can't be changed at all in newest windows??? Only because some name was entered first it's not possible to be changed ever again???? Seriously?

I am extremely unhappy and upset with this operative system! I,m cursing the day when i gave so much money for computer with crap called windows 8.1!!!!

No Karen, I didn't resolve the issue.

All the links you are giving to me doesn't provide any concrete answer to this question. I spent hours and hours googling and researching about this question and only solution which i found is that i need to create completely new user account and delete completely

Ok, i came back to edit this post because i have a feeling that maybe you don't understand the question and giving me this link because maybe you simply don't know that when you go to:
Control panel/user accounts/change your account name... and change the name, and after that, when you go to C:/users, the folder with the user name still have an old user name. Which means that any changes in control panel or anywhere else doesn't make any
changes on C:/users/ folder itself!!!!!
In previous windows versions was possible to change it by editing "ProfileImagePath" in:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList\ ....
But when I try to do that in Windows 8.1, when I reboot computer it logs in with some temporary account, so i need to reverse everything to be able to use computer with the real account!
So basically it seems that is absolutely impossible to change user folder name in Windows 8.1, which is simply unbelievable!
I really think i explained very good now.

Problem with Watched Folder endpoint

We have a problem with a watched folder endpoint. The watched folder is set in a directory in a linux server. The directory then is mapped to a windows directory where files arrive from time to time. Everything works fine until the watched folder service stops for no particular reason. After that we need to restart the service from the admin UI console.
I found in another post something related to the MySql database losing connection with livecycle after some inactivity, but I'm not sure if this is our case or even how to solve the problem.

If I install the ZCM Client, it will pull down the policies and work correctly. Then I try to install Endpoint and it will not finish up it's checkin procedure and it will not get the policies set in place for it.
Otherwise, I'll start with Endpoint on a fresh machine install it and it works great pulling down the policies. But the ZCM doesn't seem to pull down the policies correctly?
Just wondering if this was known problem or is there something I am not doing correctly...

This is issue that you are seeing is just for the client, correct? The ZESM server and ZCM server are on separate machines, correct?

Problem with public folder initialization on exchange load generator 2010

hi,
we need to make some stress charge for a migration between 2010 and 2013. Before that we need to populate our exchange 2010 lab with full mailbox and public folders. So we tried Exchange load generator 2010 for this task ( initialization only).
Loadgen did well for the mailbox but we have some problems with the public folders. we have an empty public folder database and the user we run loadgen with has organization admin and public folder management right. the problem is that when we run this command
(for initializing public folder only, mailbox's done) :
loadgencmd.exe /p /c config.xml /add trace.log
IT create only one public folder with the user we run loadgen with, and 5-8 objects inside. We need that It create a public folder for each users it created before. Maybe we do not understand loadgen
correctly...

I found my solution :
customize the <PublicStoreProfile> section in the configuration file as follows:

Problem with junk folder showing up when I don't want it and have set to not have it

Just updated Thunderbird. Have settings set to NOT create junk folder, but a junk folder keeps showing up with emails in it (that are not junk!). Also, and even worse, there is no notification that there are new emails in the junk folder- I have to click on the folder to check for emails in that folder. I have disabled all setting related to junk. We use thunderbird at work and everybody who has recently updated has this problem. Obviously, it is a bug in the new update. Help!!!

I deleted the MACROMEDIA folder from the Frédéric ALLIER folder but the Frédéric ALLIERR folder is still there (with other under-folders).

Windows 7 pro problem with redirected folder for 1 computer in the domain only.

Hi.
We have a computer in the domain we have that started to behave strangely.
We have redirected folder on the GPO for the Desktop, favorites, and my documents folder.
The server is 2012 essentials
Sometimes the customer want to save it's document and the computer refuse to save the file saying that the folder doesn't exist (path unknow). Mostly restarting the machine solve the problem.I verified the synchro between the server and the computer and
everything seem fine. What I have seen is that went I unplug the system from local network this specific folder disapear. So what I fear is that somethimes the machine can't connect to the server and then the problem start to appear.
I have tested other account on the domain and they run fine.
Any idea where I might look?

Do you mean that only one account have this issue?
What policy do you set?
Please take the following steps for troubleshooting:
1. Use this account to log in other computers and check if this issue still exists
2. When this issue occurs, ping the IP address and server name of the server 2012, and share us the result
3. As you mentioned in the post ‘Mostly restarting the machine solve the problem’, please run the command
gpupdate /force in powershell and check if this issue still exists.

Problem with empty folder showing up in incorrect release folder

Thanks to several forum contributors I've got conditional build expressions working correctly to create five Single Source Layouts. To keep it simple, I'll use letters for the SSLs.

As you can see, all the licensed modules can access topics in the Core Help, but cannot access topics in any module that they have not licensed.
There are no untagged topics in the Help.
When I generate the Help for the licensed modules, RoboHelp creates an empty folder in each target Release folder that is related to one of those licensed modules. For example, the B, C, D, and E Release folders ALL contain an empty E folder.
I have gone through the project with a fine-tooth comb, verifying that the tags are correctly applied, checking images and baggage files, etc. But that empty E folder continues to appear.
Any thoughts about the next step that I might want to take to clean this up?

Are you using Inclusive or Exclusive build expression?
Sounds like it's Inclusive, but thought I'd ask.
If so, you might try using Exclusive. Just clear tags with anything related to A. After all, it's included by default anyway, no? As an aside, if the folder is empty, not really seeing the concern. Just curiosity?

Problem with Drafts folder

I'm back on the x2 BT Yahoo mail but it still acts up like a Beta version.
Last week I input a lengthy email but had to save it in my Drafts folder pending further info that I needed. That came today so I looged in to my mail, saw that the Drafts folder had a '1' next to it but when I click on it to open it its says that there are no emails in my Drafts folder.
If I log out than back in, it again says shows the '1'. I wait until thge page has loaded but still get the blasted 'no emails in your Drafts folder'.
I can't find any previous threads on this - has anyone else had the same problem please?

Glad it worked.
Regarding Advanced Search, you first need to use the Mail Search facility.
When you get your results, on the left hand side you get a section headed "Refine Results"
Below this you get "Advanced Search" and "Search Tips"
Clicking on "Advanced Search" you get all sorts of options one of which is selecting the folders to search.
This is based on BT Yahoo Mail Classic, I cannot guarantee that it is the same on the later versions that I do not recommend.

Problem with Applications folder

In trying to put my photos on to a flash drive, all the pictures ended up in the "Applications" folder. I tried the restore from time machine but could not succeed. Is there a way I can correct this problem?

If you can see the photos in the Applications folder, just drag them out onto your desktop and/or directly to the flash drive icon on your desktop.

PSE7 Problem with Organizer - Folder Location Display

I keep encountering a wierd error and don't know why or how it is happening. I like to use this view I file pictures on my hard this way and this matches those files and then I can tag, make an album, etc. Sometimes the pictures that are in a file (on my hard drive) will for some reason (or after some event) not show up in the Folder Locations display with the same file name. Make sense? They will show in the file name below the folder they should be in and so on. For example I have 400 pictures from a recent trip to Trinidad in a Trinidad 2009 folder on my hard drive. When I had put these in to PSE7, they showed up in the catalog view in Trinidad 2009 because I made it a watch folder. Now they show up in another folder, the one below it. It is like every folder shifted down. I understand they are still in the same location on my hard drive. There seems to be some bug or error in PSE7 organizer. Can anyone help with this?

Problem with offline Folder

After moving PSE7 to an new Notebook, all the files are offline (I have them on a external USB Disk named Q). See the Johnrellis Tool att.

It appears that on your old computer, your photos were originally on a drive named FOTOS with volume serial number 6D84-D93C. Then at some point you copied them to the current external hard drive 2A0B-20FE, assigned the drive letter Q on your new computer. PSE is now quite confused, due to some bugs/misfeatures in the way it handles multiple drives. There are two straightforward though tedious options:
1. Go back to the original computer, verify that you can still open your catalog and access all your photos, and use the backup/restore method for moving the photos:

2. On the current computer with the current contents of the Q drive, reconnect your catalog to the photos on the Q drive. You'll have to do this folder by folder, due to limitations in PSE's Reconnect command. See method 4 of this FAQ for how to do this:

3 problems with application folder???

1. In my applications folder I have 2 folder aliases, one named applications and the other named applications 2. Do I need these? If not how can I get rid of them?
2. I opened the application folder and did drag the Firefox icon to the dock. Now there isn't an icon for Firefox in the application folder? Shouldn't there be one?
3. I recently downloaded Mozy. Again there isn't an icon in the application folder...Shouldn't there be one?
