Problem with loading a project from other system

Hi!
I am tring to load a project that being done on logic with audiowerk card on other computer. I can open the project but when I am choosing a channel and changing the sound-card name to my card (core audio) I can hear the sund but all the plug-ins/instruments disapear allthough i got the plug-ins and most of them are logic built in plug-ins.
What should I need to do in order to keep the plug ins and still be able to play the project from my sound card.
I have logic 7.1,Mac g5 and M-box.

You should have chosen the other option when first launcing it

Usually this dialogue comes up, sounds like you brought it from an OS 9 system. The Logic plugs should follow through and the VSTs, well, you're kinda stuck there. Ask your client/friend to send the presets for 3rd party VSTs if you have them as AUs. Session interchange between your 2 platforms is not very rewarding, so do it as little as possible.

GEAtkins (Glenn) posted some info on his system into another THREAD. He posted a lot of good information on his system and also on some diagnostics, that I asked for. For anyone, who wants to see his info and a complete statement of his problems, please see the link above. It's a well-detailed post, and he's been quick to furnish the requested data. It's being reviewed now, but would also like for others to review it too, as there might be additional ideas.
I do not want to pollute that other thread with work on Glenn's issue, or drag it on a tangent, so I'd appreciate that anybody with input on Glenn's problems post to this thread. I will be doing so, as soon as the review of the diagnostics is done. I also did not want to re-post all info provided here, so please just link and read.
I hope that this will be beneficial to Glenn and not interfere with another thread requesting reports on how PrE 8 runs on others' systems.

Glenn, it appears that you have 3x HDD's, 1x = 250GB, 2x = 350GB. Are these 3x physical HDD's, and not partitions?
How are these HDD's allocated? I see that D:\ is nearly full. How is this drive, especially, used?
I hope that you do not mind my calling in an expert on this, but I knew that Harm would find more things, than I would. First, his eyesight is better than mine, and he's also smarter! [plus most people say he's also better looking, than I am.]
To distill my recs., and I think most of Harm's:
Look into static Virtual Memory management in Windows. Up the size of the Page File. Around 2 - 2.5x installed RAM works well for NLE work.
There are some Processes that can probably removed from Startup. iTunes Helper is one of those. When doing an editing session, I strongly recommend not having any on-line presence, and then freeing up resources, for that session, by turning OFF some of your security functions. Then, using a Process manager, like EndItAll, to eliminate those Processes, that are not needed. Even on my workstation, for all but the most simple edits, I do this routinely. It is easy, and one can come back and turn those on manually, or just re-boot, and they'll all be loaded.
Also, please let me know about your I/O sub-system, i.e. your HDD's. The main questions are above.
Harm and I are pretty much in agreement that there should not be any conflicts with your NLE and audio-editing programs. I have most on my workstation, plus many more audio-editing programs (just not Sony). I have no issues doing so. I believe that all were installed after PrPro, and I've seen no priority issues with any CODEC, or modules. All runs fine, so I do not think that there would be a conflict there. I have observed that Adobe, CyberLink and Magix all seem to play very well together, at least in my installation.

[Edit] One last question: regarding the SearchIndexer, do you have Windows' Indexing turned on for your HDD's? That program can not only rob resources, but will "lock" your Folders, while it tries to do its thing. It can be useful for .DOC, .TXT, etc. files, but for AV files, and especially the large working files that any NLE generates, it cannot extract any useful info, yet it will try, and try. Every time that a file is changed, like your PREL file, or those working files, it'll run in and "lock" that file, while it tries to extract info from it - every time. It can be turned OFF in your My Computer>[Drive Letter]>Properties panel. In XP, one can determine it's indexing by folders, so one could leave it ON for say your .DOC folder. I do not know how finely you can tune it in Vista, or Win7. I keep it OFF for all HDD's, and a Search is not much slower. Remember, it cannot extract useful data from the AV, or working files, no matter how many times it tries, so all it's doing is hogging resources and "locking" files, that your NLE needs and changes all the time.

Problems with sharing a project from Final cut x

I have just purchased a canon Legria g10 (pal) and when I share(export) the project I get horizontal lines on the image, the raw footage looks fine in quicktime but when I edit and share it back out of Final Cut x it has the lines. Do I need to de-interlace and if so why? will I have to do this everytime I use the camera? or is the problem with settings on the camera? Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Problem with loading XML file from directory.

*1)* I have directory defined by DBA. I have read, write privileges. I can read file from this directory using UTL_FILE, I can create file in this directory using UTL_FILE. I tried many times and it does not seem to be any problems.
*2)* I have very simple XML table (with just one column of xmltype). I can insert into this column using:

One very important thing with Oracle XML : please always give your database version, all four digits (e.g. 10.2.0.4).
Does the directory resides on the same machine as the database? Which OS?

Problem with BAPI BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA when calling from other system

Hi All,
I able create new material using the BAPI BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA in development system.
but when i am calling this BAPI from other systems by passing the same values that i used in the development system . system is giving me an error ( in the return statement) saying that material number doesn't exists .
Can any one have some pointers towards this ?

this FM BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA
is used to extend a material to another plant
for that you need to read the original data via BAPI_MATERIAL_GET_DETAIL and then select additional data from MKVE and save it via BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA with table parameter SALESDATA

I have a user who's Active Directory password is going to expire. I had her reset her password by going to apple > system prefs > user > and clicking change password. She received the error "The password for the account "account name" was not changed. Your system administrator may not allow you to change your password or there was some other problem with your password. Contact your system administrator for help."
I had her change her password via the kpasswd command in terminal and that changed her password on the server sucessfully however the laptop has FileVault on it. Filevault is not recognizing the new password just the old password.
I have deleted the keychain which didn't resolve and now I am going to decrypt and reencrypt the drive. I'm hoping this is an isolated issue I have over 25 laptops configured like this.

I "think" the trick was unbinding and rebinding the computer account.
After unencrypting and trying to reencrypt Filevault would still not take the new password.
Rebooted the prompt to update the keychain appeared. Updated the keychain. Filevault would still not take the new password.
Unbinded and rebinded the computer account. It worked and let me add the user to filevault.

Problem in loading transactional data from to 0MKT_DSO1(ods) to 0MKTG_C01

I am trying to load lead transaction data to the standard Crm lead management cube from ODS.There is a problem while loading transaction data from 0MKT_DSO1(ods) to the infocube 0MKTG_C01 as the field 0STATECSYS2(CRM STATUS) is set to 10 in ods -meaning incorrect transaction. This feild is not there in the infocube.
There is a routine in the cube that deletes data records with (0statecsys2) set to 10.
THIS field is not coming in the transaction.
so, where can i see the master data in crm source system? and why is that feild getting set to 10 ?

Beginner Has Problem With Loading JDBC Driver Using MySQL

1. I have installed MySQL (C:\mysql), created a databse (soup), and created a littel table (VIDEOS). I am able to see the table in the console:

From looking at the specifications of your camera (SJCam 4000), we know already what video compression your camera is using. It is H.264.
A H.264.mov file should be supported by Premiere Elements 11. On what computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 11 running?
Do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer? And, are you running QuickTime and Premiere Elements 11 from a
User Account with administrative privileges? Please go to Premiere Elements 11 Publish+Share/Computer/QuickTime to confirm that you find
presets there for the QuickTime choice there.
What are the properties of these H.264.mov files - is it 1080p30 (1920 x 1080p30) or something else? Do you know if this camera is recording with a variable or
a constant frame rate?
Please review and consider and then we will decide what next.

Problem with loading data to Essbase

Hi All,
I have a problem with loading data into Essbase. I've prepared maxl script to load the data, calling rule file. The source table is located in RDBMS Oracle. The script works correctly, ie. generally loads data into Essbase.
But the problem lies in the fact, that after deletion of data from Essbase, when I'm trying to load it again from the source table I get the message: WARNING - 1003035 - No data values modified by load of this data file - although there is no data in Essbase... I've also tried to change the mode of loading data from 'overwrite' to 'add to existing values' (in rule file) but it does'nt help ... Any ideas what can I do?

Problem With Loading the jars

i have written one application which is running on server.in that application want to use certain jars(Classes)and those jars anmes and
classes inside the jars are same.based on the condition i want to call
corresponding class.

i have 4.o jars and 5.1 version jars.depending on the condingtion system must use the corrensponding jar.the problem here is that both jars has same clasees and code inside that one is differnet.
when i run application with 4.o condition then 5.1 is not working and
if i run tha application with 5.1 then 4.o is not working.
can u please suggest the possible solution

I have a problem with loading the PNG image

I have a problem with loading the PNG image from site. For ex. go to icefilms com and is starts to load png like crazy CPU is huge and you can not shut down Firefox at least a minute. This is not just in this site but whit any one whit lots of pictures.

i did both of them, but still the while sending the mail the diolog box is not showing up and also the spelling and grammer does not do the spelling check.
This problem just started for about 3 to 4 days now. earlier it was working normally.

Memory leak problems with loading videos over and over.

I'm having memory leak problems with loading videos into a VideoPlayer aswell as FLVPlayback.
What the flash should do:
- Should be running for 7 days without having to restart the projector.
- Interface that shows people around a 360 3D model with 5 different parts and at the stops it makes during the rotation you can click to zoom in on a location which plays a movie for that aswell.
- Shows a video out of 5 parts for a 360 rotation in 3D in mp4 video (added each time and cleaned up, see code below).
- Still images are used when the video clips are done playing (MovieClip in stage).
- Should run automatically when there is no user interaction for X minutes.
What the problem is:
- The flash (as a exe and swf i guess) starts to consume memory over time (say 10 hours) until the projector crashes. This usually at around 1.75 GB of memory.
I cannot see why the Flash cannot garbage collect this and free up the memory. Mabye there is something I don't understand about the garbage collection in flash?

Hmm. It's in connection with Dropbox. Så apparantly you can only use one of the two at the same time if you want the programs integrated in Finder.

Hi Experts,
I'm having a problem with my data loading from BW, using the standard Load InfoProvider Selections data manager package.
If I run for a period without data it succeeds (with warning) but if there is data to be extracted I get the following error:

model: AIACONS. Package status: ERROR
As it runs ok when there isn't data it appears there is something preventing the movements of data out of the cube itself, rather then a validation issue.
Has anyone encountered similar or have any ideas as to the problem?

It's not specific to the transformation file as I have tried with others for the same BW cube and get the same result.
We get a warning when we try and validate the transformation file:
"Error occurs when loading transaction data from other model".
This only appears in the validation pop up and doesn't throw up any warnings about the transformation file itself. The validation log says:

I want to pull an *.excel/ *.csv file through ABAP code.The target file that I want to access in my ABAP code is stored into another PC in the same Local area network under some directory say 'c:\temp\credit.csv'.
I have the logon information of the target file's PC.
Please help me with code if anyone of you having.
