Can somebody help me with this problem? when i start to install the minisap into my windows XP, i encounter this problem. may i know what shoud i put into the field?

Problem with Isight or Photo Booth PLEASE HELP

When ever i take a picture with teapot or spotlights or an other dark picture for the matter It comes out all white and pink kind of. It just looks weird and discollored but only pink and white. Please help me ( ps its only the new ichat effects it has problems with and idk how to delete them their the ones on this website from Ismiley)

If that does not help you, try uninstalling MoreIchatEffects. I do not use MoreIchatEffects, but, again, according to the developer's website,

I have a problem with my win 8 system please help

yesterday I got the msi gt70 I ordered in the mail everything is working good accept one thing.
whenever I try to install an app (no matter what kind, I tried solitaire and Skype) the app is going up and immediately shuts down nothing happens.
I tried to look it up on the web and did everything it says but nothing helped.
please help me I want thing to work properly.

I have the exact same problem in my GT70-0ND-447 with Windows 8 SL x64.
Skype, Ebay and some other Metro style applications does not work.
When I start the application startup screen appears, and then almost immediately closes.
Applications can be seen in the drop down list on the left, but they do not work. In the system log I see a message "The server not register with App DCOM within the required timeout" (error 10010).
Event for Ebay under Microsoft-Windows-TWinUI/Operational: "Activation of the app eBayInc.eBay_1618n3s9xq8tw!App for the Windows.Launch contract failed with error: The app didn't start." (error 5961).
I wrote to support. Waiting...

Problems with Oracle XE on XP - Please help!

Hi,
I have oracle XE installed on my machine and it was working absolutely fine for the last year or so. Today there was an trojan intrusion which caused some issues with my windows xp OS like hiding some files, desktop etc. After everything was cleaned up and things back to normal. I am having issues with XE.
I can start and stop XE with out any issues and When I use the run sql command line, I can connect using - connect sys/sys as sydba and I can also run a query to see all the users and see the HR user also.
However, 1. When I connect to my hr user using connect hr/password@xe, it just hangs
2. I tried the- go to Oracle XE admin page but it just hangs for a long time and returns page cannot be found.
3. I can tnsping the xe instance.
Not sure what the issue is? I am not a DBA and don't have much knowledge on this. Is a fresh install the only option? or is there any way to correct this using the sys/sys user?
I have pasted the listenor.log and listenor.ora details below. I tried a fresh install after removing XE. but the same issue!

Problem with Variable!!! Please Help

I have a big problem!!
I have a procedure executed by a program in Pro * C/C++
In this program there is a variable:

This variable is a parameter for my procedure!

The problem is, vnum_composer is always NULL.
I think thats because in my table, Batch_id is a CHAR(7).

You mean the sequence you have in Query Properties - Variable Sequence dont match with the Runtime Selection Window?
I remember having a similar problem last week but cud resolve it after redoing it .
I am guessing ur on BI 7.0 SP 13...

Serious Problem with New Mac Pro! Please help!!

Ok, long story short.
My Mac pro keeps crashing after I installed the latest 05-2007 security update. It seems to crash everytime I come back to the computer after the screensaver has been on for a while (its not the screensaver though) I reinstalled the newer v1.1 version of the update and I thought the problem had gone, but it hasnt as the computer just crashed again.
I cannot see any correlation to any other programs, and im 99% sure its not a hardware issue. It does not seem to relate to parallels, or the screensaver, or itunes, or anything!
And there is another crazy thing, when the computer restarts, it says that it recovered from a serious error and asks you to sumit a report, so i click the send report button and do you see a normal report window with all the code ? NO!!! Press report and the initial window just DISAPPEARS, nothing else happens!!! i.e it wont send the but to apple!! no wonder they haven't fixed it!!!

My I-trigue 5600 worked perfectly for over 4 years. Buy recently, my rear right channel stoped working I 've tried everything : all satellites work poperly,drivers are ok, I tested it on 2 computers. There is still the same problem. Unfortunately Creative dosn't have after-guarantee service.. So, I tried to open subwoofer, but the inerity is too complicated with many areas flooded with glue or isolation. I tried also to buy another subwoofer / i believe it must have small damage , but the rest of speakers work great and the voice of subwoofer is good as well/ but there is problem with buying a subwoofer separately. Becouse there are only auctions on net.
So , what I supposed to do? Does Creative have separated spare parts to my subwoofer? Can I buy another subwoofer anywhere?
Can I replace my sub to similar from another speakers system and which one would be suitable.
I don't want to change my speakers. They are the best for me, but defect of one chanell is annoying. Really.
I wanted to buy x-fi elite pro ,but now it's pointless.

Hey! I've got the same problem with the same kind of speakers! When im listening to something volume is coming down and after a some time its coming back to its previous level! Coming back to its normal level can be forced by turning the speakers on and off! thats all i've discovered...
i also heard that some of creative speakers have kind of (f**k i dont know the word in english :P ) which works like that: when subwoofer is hot it automatially turns the volume lower to save your speakers from burning form hot :P or something like this :P
hmm... what i discovered that is no matter what i connect as source of music! effect of volume is the same
or maby you discovered the reason of this?

Strange problem with motherboard H67MA-E45(B3) =( please help

Hi, I have a strange problem with my motherboard . I have a H67MA-E45 (B3) (MSI-7678) , when i try to update it ( http://www.pcbrain.it/images/stories/msi/H67MA-E45/bios/14.JPG ) , i choose the fourth option "Select one file to update bios" , but the bios did not recognize the update file (E7678IMS.1C0) into the Usb flash drive , but if i choose the second option (select one file to boot) the file is recognized. First I made a backup of the bios, and into the USB flash drive has been created a file called "E7678ICX.162" (my current update). Why the extension is IXC ?!? it should have been IMS ! . I tried changing the file extension "E7678IMS.1C0" (the new update) into "E7678ICX.1C0" and when i select the fourth option , the file is recognized! . Obviously I have not started the update , but if I proceed with the update, changed the name of the extension, is it safe? Or do damage?..please help me :(

Still think there is a batch conflict or possibly a bad stick in the new sticks. Might test each new stick individually for a bad one. Again, the other solution for an 8BG kit may be the new Kingston HyperX PnP's. Could you post a screenshot of CPUID's CPU-Z Memory & SPD Tab for one of the new sticks?
Added: Actually, screenshots of the old sticks Memory & SPD Tab may be of help too. It may be tRAS or tRFC differences between the two kits. Just speculation at this point though.

Problems with WRT160N and Xbox 360 - please help

I have recently purchased a WRT160N router and when I play games online (Halo 3 or Modern Warfare 2) it takes around 10 min to find a game while in the lobby. I don't get kicked out or signed out of my profile it just takes a long time. It says that my NAT type is Open. I have isolated that the problem is the router because if I plug an ethernet cable from the 360 to the DSL modem I find games instantly. I have looked up port forwarding and opened the ports on the 360 and specifically for modern warfare 2 and it actually made my NAT type go to strict, ironic. I have spent 5 hours trying to mess with this and can't seem to get it working right. If someone could please help me on the settings or have any other ideas that would be greatly appreciated.

I have already tried reducing the MTU as well as the Beacon Level, Threshold, and Fragmentation. That did not work. To get the ip address of the modem is where I do cmd prompt ipconfig right. If so, I have not done that yet and since I am at work I will do that when I get home. the ports I have opened on the router for the xbox were 80, 88, 53, and 3074. Like I said when I did that it actually got worse cause my NAT was open but then it went to Strict.

FTP problems with Airport!!! Please HELP!!!

Hi! I recently found out about my school offering wireless access on campus. I have been using it regularly without any problems until I tried updating my website. I use Adobe Dreamweaver to create and upload pages to my site via FTP. Usually when I am at home I am connecting to the internet via dial-up and everything works fine. But, at school, the FTP will not connect to my site. I have tried disabling the firewall and messing with the Share settings, but nothing seems to work. Someone told me that FTP would not work over a wireless network, but I don't see why it wouldn't! Please HELP!

They are wrong.
Unfortunately there is no way we can help you without knowing how the school network is configured. They could have FTP access blocked.

Sound Problems with Mainbord....Please help!

Hi are having huge problems with my sound.
Got all the gadgets last week. And have built the computer now. Everything is installed, all the drivers i got with the Box.
Now the problem is that the sound i very "crappy". It sound´s like a broken speaker. i have tried with different speakers and the problem persist.
Ive tried changing drivers and all that, and checked all setting. But nothing changes...
I get sound, but it sounds like hell. Cant almost not hear what´s playing or what are said through the speaker.
Is it a hardware problem, something broken on Mainbord??????
Somebody know?

Just as a suggestion. . . .
I would remove the soundcard and clean the edge pin connectors. The "static" type sound could be comming from a resistive connection in the edge connector. You may also try running dxdiag from your "start / run" menu and see if the sound results are better.
Also, (even though the sound card is new), you may want to blow out the pin connector in the back of the card (where you plug in your speakers) and try reseating your speaker cable again.
Someone above mentioned power. That could easily be an issue if you have alot of hardware and a power supply that is not up to par with your gear.
EDIT: For some reason, I thought you had a soundblaster card. So, pls forgive the card removal information. just trying to help!

Problems with Servlet to JSP communication please help!!!

we have different web applications running
e.g.
We have 2 webApp named A and B are running and there URL are
http://localhost:8080/A and
http://localhost:8080/B
and we have one common WebApp running at
http://localhost:8080/common
Our problem is that whenever a user log in to the system he/she will first call the
common URL and then enter his user name and password
and depending on his username we have redirect user to either A or B with his pasword and username as parameter to the request.
i.e. in common module whenever i get userName and password we call a Servlet to authenticate the user and to detemine which webapp to forward to..
i have to call jsp accordingly from servlet in common webApp to JSP in different webapp.
I m wonderning how it is possilble.

i don't know how to call another webApp using
RequestDispatcher.forward () method and
also
i am not able to set paramters with the request whenever i user response.sendRedirect() method
I am wondering what could be the way to pass paramer to the request from servlet in one webApp to JSP in another webApp
Please help its urgent!!!

forward() can't call another webapp.
There are several ways you could do this.
1) Share the session object across both webapps and set something as an attribute of the session.
2) Use a database or file storage to record the transaction, then go to the second webapp, which picks up that info.

I am having problems with my Pantech Caper. Please Help!

I just transferred my phone number over to a used Pantech Caper that I bought a few years ago. When I used the Caper previously I had no problem with it. And the phone i had before i transferred numbers worked just fine i was just having problems with some buttons not working. Now that i have transferred the number over to the Caper i can receive texts and picture messages but can not download the messages. I can not receive calls nor can i send texts out. after i try to send a text I receive a message saying I have insufficient fund to send message. oh extra info... i have the plan for 500 minutes and unlimited text picture messages and unlimited web. Please Help... I need my phone for work.
