I have this game  "GRID 2". Every time I play this game, It goes for few mintues and the game video stucks goes black but the  audio is still runnig. At this time I get a message " ATI Graphics Restarted"  I had this issue for some other game too but after updating my drivers It got solved But now I couldn't update my driver. It is already updated.
I used "catalyst_mobility_64-bit_util.exe" this tool to find the latest update but I ended up showing the below message.
The Version of your graphics adapter is not supported.
Please contact your notebook manuf. for Graphics driver update.

Is there any solution for the above query. I called HP customer care. But it seems that they accept calls only on weekdays.

  • Weird problem with my GPU being installed but not used by windows.

    I have a problem with my graphics card.
    I have an integrated Intel HD Graphics gpu, that Windows recognised and installed the driver thereof.
    The problem is, Windows doesn't use this gpu, but uses his own Microsoft Basic Display Adapter.
    I'll provide some screenshots here:

  • No Video, Possibly Problem With Cable?

    Sorry i this is kinda long, I don't know how I can explain it shorter!
    I'm getting a strange problem.
    Here are the steps that my computer goes through when I boot it up:
    1. Gets to the 38 (from LED debug panel) and beeps. I think that this is a sign that everything is working
    2. Keeps going through the different posts until around the 75 mark I have a choice:
    --- If I just let my machine run, it goes back to 31: "Initialize onboard devices. Load Option ROM from BIOS to memory" and is stuck there.
    --- However, If I press the delete key (which is the key to get me into BIOS) then it stays at 87: "Enter setup screen. BIOS setup if needed/requested.". Then, like I'm in BIOS, if I press escape then enter, it leaves 87 (which I'm guessing is BIOS) and goes to 31, like in the first option.
    All this time, there is no video.
    Because everything looks like it's doing all right (except for the video), as it makes sense that if there's no OS on a drive to boot into and the user doesn't access BIOS, that the computer should get stuck, I thought that the problem was probably with the video card.
    I had another card on hand, also a PCIe card with the DVI port, so I tested that one as well, and it does the exact same thing as the other, so I'm guessing it's not a problem with my GPU.
    I also know that my monitor works, as I've been using it or the past few months with my other computer. However, the only thing that's been changed with video is from using a VGA cable to a DVI one. There's no way to test with VGA with my current card, so I'm thinking that it might be a problem with my one and only DVI cable.
    So, what do you all think? Am I right in my thinking? I'd rather figure out the source of the problem before buying another cable, just to test. Thanks a ton!

    Wow I feel dumb.
    For anyone with the same problem in the future, remember to press the button that changes from VGA to DVI ><

  • My macbook pro 2.2ghz, i7 , early 2011 having problem with the graphic card

    hi, just need clarification, that i was made to understand that the NVDIA graphic card installed in Macbook Pro, has a warranty of 3 years, eventough without Apple Protection Plan. Can someone clarify this , as i m having problem with it now.

    No, the GPU does not have a seperate 'three year warranty'... unless you purchased the extended AppleCare Protection Plan.
    If you feel that you're having problems with your GPU, take your machine to your local Apple Store or an AASP and have them run a free diagnostic test. If the card is faulty, and you don't have a APP, you'll have to pay to have the entire logic board replaced.

    It happens with both desktops and laptops, but it's more noticeable with laptops. As they get pushed to their limits, they heat up, and when they get hot enough, they shut down. You could try blowing out the vents and fans, making sure you're keeping it well ventilated and cool, and even purchasing a cooling pad if you'd like. Of course, this keeps it cooler, but it could still get too hot if it gets pushed hard enough.
    Without looking at the computer, there's no way for me to know whether you have an issue. It could be overheating too easily, although this is also expected behavior. If you'd like, you can contact customer support at (800) 457-7777.

  • New GPU Quadro k5200 installed and having problem with my AE, PPro CS6  not using the GPUs cuda.

    Hi guys, I recently bought a workstation from BOXX tech with a new GPU Quadro k5200 installed in it.
    I am having problem with my AE, PPro CS6 using the GPUs cuda.
    I went to Nvidia Settings and use the specific App to select it to use GPU n- Quadro k5200. But still not working.
    Please help

    If you edited the Cudatextfile in the Adobe Premiere CS6 directory correctly then the acceleration should be enabled. The only way it it's not is if you have the wrong driver for that version of Adobe or did not edit the text file with the exact name of the card. You can use the GPUsniffer in that same Premiere directoy with the command prompt to see the name the GPU should be listed as. The Ray Tracer file in AE has to be edited with the same listing.

  • IOS 6: problem with sprites rotation in gpu mode

    Hi,
    I have a game published on iTunes and today I found a serious problem with the latest iOS 6 GM.
    Sprite rotation around X and Y axes doesn't work with gpu render mode.
    Here is my code:
    <mx:UIComponent id="gameCanvas" mouseChildren="false" mouseEnabled="false" width="100%" height="100%" />
    var gridSprite:Sprite=new Sprite();
    gameCanvas.addChildAt(gridSprite,0);
    // then I draw stuff on this gridSprite
    It works fine if this sprite is not rotated.
    But when I change its rotationX or rotationY properties, the sprite disappears from the screen!
    My game works fine on older versions of iOS (5.0, 5.1.1 and 6 beta 3).
    This problem only happens on iOS 6 GM and since iOS 6 will be officially released in a few days, I am really worried...
    I tried Air 3.3 and Air 3.4 - both have this problem.
    In "cpu" and "direct" render modes sprite rotation works, but graphics performance is terrible. So "gpu" is my only option...
    I'll really appreciate any help.

    I performed some other tests and so it seems like everything is 2D in gpu mode. When I try to do 3D transformations, objects disappear from the view.
    For example out of these 3 images only image1 is displayed:
    <s:BitmapImage id="image1"  source="logo.png" height="25%" width="100%" />
    <s:BitmapImage id="image2"  source="logo.png" height="25%" width="100%"  rotationY="5"/>
    <s:BitmapImage id="image3"  source="logo.png" height="25%" width="100%"  z="5"/>
    Maybe there is some setting that enables 3D (something like zBufferEnabled=true) that needs to be explicitly set for iOS 6 in gpu mode?
    UPD: Ok, I'm pretty sure it's a bug, I reported it to Adobe - Bug 3330901

  • Photoshop with occasional GPU driver problem

    Dear all,
    Sometimes when I start photoshop, I get a message saying: "Photoshop has encountered a problem with the display driver and has temporarily disabled GPU enhancements. Check the video card manufacturer's website for the latest software. GPU enhancements can be enabled in the Performance panel of Preferences."
    I have the latest graphics drivers installed, but this message does not always occur when I start Photoshop although the driver does not change. So, I guess there might be some other reason causing this error message.
    I am running Photoshop on a Thinkpad with Windows XP Professional.

    What is the level of OGL implemented by your card? Adobe has an OGL compatability app that ships with AE. Hopefully yours is 2.1 or later. If not, then get a new card. A new driver will not help. If you are really lucky, then there is a flash ROM update for the card to up-rev the OGL, but that is very rare.
    As a side note: I am not sure how this myth gat started, but PS actually puts very little strain on GPU acceleration compared to visualization, CAD and compositing apps. It is a minor issue compared to other offerings in the CS4 family (PP and AE come to mind).
    The Engineering team knows there are issues with their use of OGL. They are working hard to get a solution in the hands of folks quickly.
    The first recommendation is to disable all "advanced OGL settings" and see how you do.

  • Problems with graphics card (GPU)

    I'm having problems with the graphics card (GPU) in my 2010 MB Pro leading to screen distortions.  It seems similar to the problems described here:   http://9to5mac.com/2014/10/28/apple-class-action-lawsuit-2011-macbook-pro-gpu-gr aphics-issues
    Unfortunately, my machine is not eligible under the class-action suit (and well out of warranty).   Is anyone else dealing with this and how did you fix it?
    Thanks!
    - marc

    What was updated? Care to pastebin your pacman.log so we might actually know what went wrong? Also, in the future, naming a thread "update broke <package>" is not very helpful. Something like "OpenGL-dependant programs fail to run after updating <the package you think to be most relevant>" would be much more helpful and likely garner you many more people willing and able to help.
    All the best,

  • P67a gd55 problem with a new gpu

    Hi!
    I just upgraded to an hd7970. Now I don't get any signal at all to my screen. Not even bios is loading. I've made sure everything is properly in place and connected on 8-pin and one 6-pin pci-express cable. When I plug in old gpu it works again. When I plug in the new card the fans start as usual at startup. I got a thermaltake tough power 750w psu. I've tried to rule it out to three things that can be wrong.
    1. Gpu was dead on arrival.
    2. My psu is too weak to fully drive the new gpu.
    3. My motherboard won't recognize the new gpu.
    I recently had problems with trying to flash bios with live update and had to flash back to version 1c.

    Quote from: badboy2k on 15-December-12, 20:57:09
    ok your psu has 4 +12V rails (+12v1 = 18A, +12v2 = 18A, +12v3 = 18A, +12v4 = 18A) meaning its very spread out!
    only thing i can really suggest you do is see if a friend with a relativly good computer will let you try it in ther rig if they have a 600W or better psu in it to see if it works there!
    even very old bios versions should see it unless your card is flashed with a GOP VBIOS for use with windows 8 but they usually state that on the box!
    Okay, so if i used one of the original PCI-e and one through molex it should have been as good as it gets from my PSU?
    This is a thread i started a while ago and got help with flashing back my Motherboard. Maybe it will give you some clues to what is wrong if it's not the PSU.

  • Early 2011 Mac Book Pro (MBP) problem with sporadic AMD GPU automated switching system

    I have an early 2011 Mac Book Pro (MBP) - specs are listed below. I have read online about other 2011s having an automatic shutdown problem & sporadic failure re the graphics AMD Radeon HD 6490M GPU automated switching system (among other problems with this "innovation" by Apple). I am having this problem: Shuts down by itself. Restarts - in the middle of the restart shuts down again. Fans are operating just fine. The problem has occurred if a video is playing, if I try to edit a video. It has occurred while using Skype (if the other party puts on their video camera), Firefox & Safari & Google Chrome. It has occurred even if I was working in Word if I was connected to the internet. I am working in a developing country and I have done a PRAM SMC Disk Utility Repair disk had a diagnostic run which showed no problems, etc.There is no temporary fix. Apple now hear this: This is going to morph into a logic board problem and you still haven't done anything about it??? This is an APPLE defect and I am very disappointed in Apple not acknowledging this defect and fixing the problem or issuing notification of a recall. I am outside of Apple Care and I have never had a mac give trouble until the 5 year mark. A 2GB RAM white iMac I gave my Mom is still operating perfectly! I am in the middle of a  climate change mitigation project and a I cannot finish my work due to this problem and I cannot afford to pay for another MBP $2400 doorstop. What is going on here? Steve dies so there is no one to put the fear of God in anyone at Apple anymore and now no one cares  about customer service? Where is the product recall? I have been a loyal Apple customer since 1983. Yes, 1983. DO SOMETHING NOW APPLE & NOTIFY US OF IT - We all registered our computers on YOUR website so you know who we are. I had a 13" mid-2012 that had three logic boards fail in less than a year of purchase. My symptoms were it would freeze while using it or after it was put to sleep. When it froze while being used, it would flash pixels in groups in different colors and would become unresponsive to everything but forcing it to shut down. If it froze while sleeping, it wouldn't wake up and it would get extremely hot to the touch. Apple covered the repairs every time but they sent me receipts and each time, it was a $480 logic board plus labor so it would cost about $530 overall. It sounds to me it's your hard drive because I also experienced two hard drive failures. First time was from an accidental drop. I would get a loading bar on startup and once it finished, it would shut down. I couldn't boot into recovery mode at or do anything. But before that would happen, I would get an error in disk utility after performing a disk repair saying it couldn't repair the disk and to back up as much data as I could. Luckily I have the Time Capsule so my data was always safe.

    i try to disable a onboard graphic on BIOS,but i not find it.

    this a example;

    You do not need to disable the onboard.
    As for the plug-in card, there is nothing in the BIOS to make it work 8x or 16x.
    Make sure your card is seated correctly, else it will work but at lower number of lanes.
    What program is telling you it's 8x?

  • Problems with 990FXA-GD80 and AMD FX8350

    Hello,
    I built this PC back in March, and ever since I have been having problems with it. I get BSOD every now and then. It usually only happens when I am playing a game or trying to render a video. The last time I tried running Prime95, my computer locked up and didn't report the error or go to bluescreen. I thought I might post my issues here, because I can't figure out the cause. I believe it's a piece of the hardware that is causing it.
    I ran memtest86 with all passes, and I checked my HHD for errors and nothing came back.
    I'm not sure if my BIOS version it out of date, but it says I am on V11.13. When I scan on Live Updater 5, there are no updates so I'm not sure if I need to just flash it or what.
    My BIOS settings are all default, except I changed the CPU and DRAM voltages to higher values. 1.35V for the CPU and 1.65V for the DRAM. I seen it recommended in another thread so I figured I would give it a try. All my temps look fine by the way. I'm not sure if it has solved the issues though, I haven't tried playing much games or rendering a video.
    If anyone might have an idea what is going on I would really appreciate any help. I don't know much about building PCs, so take it easy :P
    My full specs are:
    OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit
    CPU: AMD FX-8350
    Motherboard: 990FXA-GD80 V2
    GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 7850
    Memory: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133
    PSU: CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W
    HDD: Seagate SV35 Series ST1000VX000 1TB
    I can post more info if needed, thanks!

    No replies?
    First off that ram is 1.6V not 1.65V.  Your ram is ddr3 2133mhz which is an overclock ram speed.  Hopefully that works ok in "auto".
    Next, your cpu is being starved for volts.  Set it to at least 1.4V.  Do not be afraid to go higher if it still crashes.
    The bios is the latest for Win7.  I am using it and it works fine.
    Do you have any monitoring software like HWiNFO64?  It shows my 8350 idling at 1435 mhz and using 1.32V-1.46V right now.  Under load it will be higher.  Yours will be too.
