Problem with NL deliveries on a Shipment

When I put NL deliveries on a shipment, I'm not able to print my output.  I get message AM010 - Address Does Not Exist.
This is because the address (ADRNR) is missing from SADR - it iexists in ADRC and KNA1.
We have approximately 19,000 addresses in ADRC but only 5,000 in SADR.  I don't understand why the system is looking for an address in SADR for NLs - if we put LF deliveries on a Shipment everything works find and the ADRNR for the ship-to still only exists in ADRC and KNA1 not SADR.
But to debug further I just replace the problem ADRNR with an ADRNR that exists in SADR.  Now I get a message that says "No handling units for required objects" - Message no. HUSELECT009
However, the handling unit does exist and the delivery is completely packed.
Can anyone advise what could be the problem?
Thanks so much!

Problem was caused bad logic in a Z* print program -- it was not getting a value for a print variable with a select statement and  then failing in 'PERFORM PROTOCOL_UPDATE' -- this perform statement was not necessary.
To fix it - we set the variable value correctly and removed the PERFORM PROTOCOL_UPDATE statement.

Onderwerp: RE: [DVD Lounge] Re: Problems with UK PAL DVDs playing overseas
I think it is not the PAL versus NTSC that makes the problem as described in this forum earlier.
In Europe we have PAL, but we can play NTSC also on our DVD players. Our players (and TV sets) are compatible to both PAL and NTSC.
What makes the problem is the region code. In Europe we have code 2 and in the US you have code 1.
For a region free DVD the code 0 is given.
So you have to look at the DVD that you will purchase in which code the DVD has been made. Is it code 1 than you have to need to have a player who accept region 1 code or a region free player.
If the DVD has code 2 than you cannot play it on a American players, made with code 1, or this player is a region free type.
Most players have the region code build in the software of the player and you can make region free if you know the software code to do so. If the code has been cracked many shops do it for you for a little amnount of money (in the Netherlands that is). It the code is not known than it is not possible to encode the player to a region free type.
Some players have a region code build into the hardware (as the Sony types), and it is almost not possible to change the code.
When you make a mistake in the software encoding than it is possible that the player will not function correctly anymore, and every type has its own softwarecode, even within a certain fabricate. So it is a bit tricky to do.
On the internet you can search if the player you have has a possibility to encode the player into a regionfree type. Many hobbyist have found the software encoding method to do so and make that public on the internet. Simply use Google or so to find out, or ask your local shop if they can do it for you.

Looks like the shipment is anymore in the vehicles tab.
Any idea of how we can unassign this deliveries?
    Thanks!

  • Problems with the load of Deliveries

    Hi experts,
I am having some problems with the load of Deliveries from R/3 into BW.
In LIPS table of R/3, there are 41412 records. I delete the setup tables and realize the extraction with the transaction OLI8BW. After that I launch a simulation with RSA3 but only 6765 records are taken into account.
Apart of that, there is a range of deliveries documents (between 180000000 and 1084000000) that is not be taken into account.
Has someone have similar problems with the load of deliveries?
    Thanks.

    Matute,
you can try comparing those missing records with those already extracted. I found in my side that some records with document category of "H"(Returns) don't be extracted by 2lis_12_vcitm.

  • VT04 - Create Shipment with multiple deliveries

    Dear All,
I need to create a shipment in VT04 such that it selects multiple outbound deliveries for the shipment where delivery has the group id.
The need to group the delivery is we need to have full load in the shipment.
In standard is there any solution for below queries
                    1) How do we maintain group id in outbound delivery ? What is the table and customizing entry for the same ?
                    2) There is a Grouped delivery field in Selection Variant of Vt04 transaction.  This field is linked to the VBSS table. Can we make use of  the same to achieve the grouping ?
    Thanks,
    Shubh.

    Hi Shubh,
You can use the Grouping Criteria for grouping multiple deliveries into a single shipment. You will need to select a  Selection variant and then maintain a grouping criteria. You can have a numerous grouping criterias such as Shipping Point/Receiving Point, Loading Point, Ship to Party Number,Route etc.
The Grouped Delivery field  is a number that uniquely identifies a group of deliveries. The system assigns the number automatically when you create a group of deliveries or invoices, for example. You cannot change this number manually.

  • Problem with IDoc for an outbound delivery

    Dear All,
I am facing a problem with the IDoc defined for an outbound delivery.
    Scenario:
Implementation of a small enhancement for an IDoc (DESADV, DELVRY01) created for an outbound delivery (in VL02N).
    What I did:
I implemented the EXIT_SAPLV56K_002 exit in the V56K0001 enhancement, activated in SMOD, assigned V56K0001 component in CMOD and acivated it. Then I put a breakpoint on the ZXTRKU02 include. For me everything in SMOD and CMOD looks OK.
I have also created a partner profile, port, outbound message config. (message DESADV, basic type DELVRY01, application V2, output message type LAVA, process code DELV. function module used for this process code is IDOC_OUTPUT_DELVRY).
    What I can do:
I can issue an IDoc message, it looks ok and contains the standard data.
    Problem:
It seems that the enhancement does not work. Finally I put there only one line of code to avoid a program bug and just to check . The system does not stop at the breakpoint (set on the ZXTRKU02 include in the EXIT_SAPLV56K_002 exit).
Am I using the proper exit? I appreciate any suggestions.
    Thanks,
    Grzegorz Skorus

    Hello Grzegorz
Not an expert on this, but noone is responding so I thought let me try and help you. You seem to be doing the right things as mentioned in OSS note 1498409.
Firstly since this can be called form Shipment Idoc also, you may need to make a differentiation by the interface parameter 'MESSAGE_TYPE' or segment name. See the attached OSS note, though it belongs to older releases,  it may help you.
Also help says 'The callup of this function module is programmed for each enhancement of the internal table for the IDoc (in other words, when you add an extra segment'. So may be you need to add an extra segment/field to make it work.
Futher  the user exits are replaced by BADIs. May be you should use exit_badi_v56k.
Hope this helps and others will pitch in.

  • Problem with Overwrite for Key Figures in ODS

A bit of a long explanation, but the problem is not so complicated...
We have an ODS containing contract line items.  Each line item has a key figure "Total Contract Target" that is marked with update type "overwrite".  We have modified the extractor that delivers data for this ODS so that the key figure is set to a value from the contract header.  Since we don't want the key figure to be duplicated if there are multiple line items on the contract, the user exit for the extractor modifies only the first line item delivered.
For example, overall contract target value = 100.  Contract has 3 line items.  Contract target value for line item 1 is 100.  Target value for line item 2 and 3 is 0.
This all works fine for initial loads, but there is a problem with the business content extractor for deltas.  Whenever a single change is made, it delivers three sets of  records.  Continuing the example, we would receive 9 records for the contract (3 sets of 3 line items).  Each of the three sets contains the same records.  Only the first set has the correct contract target value.  Since the ODS key figure is set to overwrite, our method of setting the total contract value in the first record doesn't work, because the extractor delivers duplicates so the duplicates overwrite the total with a 0.
Would setting the key figure for total contract value to update type "additive" solve this? (I'm concerned that additions would be made if there were only a change to characteristics and not the key figure).  Thanks for your assistance.

Since we ought to post solutions to problems we discover for people who search this forum...
Solved this by modifying the customer exit for the extractor to set the key figure for the first contract line item encountered AND for all subsequent records with the same contract number / contract line item.  Since the key figure in the ODS is set to overwrite, this makes sure that the last record written doesn't overwrite the key figure with 0.

  • Problem with date format from Oracle DB

    Hi,
I am facing a problem with date fields from Oracle DB sources. The date format of the field in DB table is 'Date base type is DATE and DDIC type is DATS'.
I mapped the date fields to Date characters in BI. Now the data that comes to PSA is in weird format. It shows like -0.PR.09-A
I have changing the field settings in DataSource  to internal and external and also i have tried mapping these date fields to text fields with out luck. All delivers the same format.
I have also tried using conversion routines like, CONVERSION_EXIT_IDATE_INPUT to change format. It also delivers me the same old result.
If anybody of you have any suggestions or if anybody have you experienced such probelms, Please share your experience with me.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards
    Varada

Thanks for all your reply. I can only the solutions creating view in database. I want some solution to be done in BI. I appreciate if some of you have idea in it.
    The issue again in detail
I am facing an issue with date fields from oracle data. The data that is sent from Oracle is in the format is -0.AR.04-M. I am able to convert this date in BI with conversion routine in BI into format 04-MAR-0.
The problem is,  I am getting data of length 10 (Output format) in the format -0.AR.04-M where the month is not in numericals. Since it is in text it is taking one character spacing more.
I have tried in different ways to convert and increased the length in BI, the result is same. I am wondering if we can change the date format in database.
I am in puzzle with the this date format. I have checked other Oracle DB connections data for date fields in BI, they get data in the format 20.081.031 which will allow to convert this in BI. Only from the system i am trying creating a problem.

  • Problem with Material Confirmation (Availability Check)

    Dear All,
There is a problem with the availability check. when i place order system does availability check and confirms the order. Now say for example i have 100qty of material - X and i created order for 50qty, system confirmed and then i went on creating orders for this , say i have created orders for it for 150qty, so system has confirmed 100 and 50 on future date.
Now when i try to do the delievry for the first order(50 qty), system gives me an error that "0" qty is available.
Can you please tell me what may be the reason for this.
    Thanks,

You can also check in T-code Co09 of the availability. Best and easy one to read for me has been MD04 Transaction code.
What system does in Sales Order is that it plans the requirement taking into consideration Material availability and if material doesn't exist but sees that in a few days in the future material will be available so system confirms it. Note that physically the material may not even be present. You find out if you really have physical stock in the delivery. For example in the sales order in the future the system sees that a Purchase Order will take place so system confirms it. Even though physically you have not even done a goods receipt for that PO. So any Sales Order which has been created before holds that reservation. So if you make a PO goods receipt in the future all those sales order has taken up this stock even. So the new sales order you created may not even have physical stock present or available as back order  exists.
If you delete Deliveries that have not had PGI done to them this will take the requirement out of the list of Deliveries you can see this in MMBE if you scroll to the right. You can also do reason for rejection for other old orders to take out reservation in MD04.
    Good Luck

  • Problem with substring in xsl file?

what can it be? i'am helpless.

    Hi,
I used <xsl:value-of select="substring(StartDate,9,2)"/> the answer was 21 and to 0,5 the answer was 2007. It seems that's ok!
Try to do it and see if you have problem with substring.

    4. Does SAP deliver the Customizing presettings of decimal places for currency codes (Table TCURX) for upgrade installations?
    5. Which information does SAP use for the specification of these Customizing presettings?
    Solution
    1. question: Which currencies have to be defined separately with
regard to the number of decimal places?
    Answer:
The number of decimal places can vary for currencies. Currencies which do not have two decimal places must be defined in table TCURX (decimal places for currency codes).
You can maintain this table via the R/3 Implementation Guide (Global Settings -> Currencies, Transaction OY04).
If a currency is not defined in Table TCURX (decimal places for currency codes), this currency is regarded as currency with two decimal places.
    2. question: What do I need to observe when maintaining decimal places
                for currencies?
    Answer:
During operation, you must neither delete currencies used nor change their definition of decimal places. Amounts in posted documents could become invalid or incorrect as a result.
    3. question: Which Customizing presettings does SAP deliver in table
TCURX (decimal places for currency codes) ?
    Answer
At present, SAP delivers the following Customizing presettings for table TCURX:

    4. question: Does SAP deliver the Customizing presettings of decimal
places for currency codes (Table TCURX) for upgrade
                 installations?
    Antwort
Table TCURX (decimal places for currency codes) is a client-independent table of the delivery class "C" (Customizing table). Therefore the table contents for this table can only be delivered with new installations.
For upgrade installations, new or changed contents of Table TCURX are not delivered.
    5. question: Which information does SAP use for the specification of
                 these Customizing presettings?
    Answer
Currency codes and decimal places for currency codes are defined in ISO standard 4217. For the specification of decimal places for currency codes, SAP uses this ISO standard.
For some currencies, for example, for the "Turkish lira", the decimal places which are used in reality deviate from the ISO definition. In many of these cases, SAP decided to adhere to the definitions generally used.
    Example:
ISO standard 4217 defines two decimal places for the Turkish lira (TRL), however in reality zero decimal places are being used for the Turkish lira. SAP delivers zero decimal places as Customizing presetting for "Turkish lira".

This is the scenario I'm having. I call the RFC, the message is delivered to XI, and XI delivers de message to the Legacy System, this system responds to XI and XI delivers the message back to the SAP system.
But after doing some successful tests with the RFC, for somehow the whole message is delivered to the Legacy System, and XI shows that has delivered back the message to the SAP system, but the RFC stays Idle, as if it was waiting for a response, after a while, the RFC gets a Dump with the following error:

In order to get it working again, I'm doing a Restart of the J2EE instance, but after another series of tests with the same RFC, the problem comes up again.
Does anyone knows what could be happening?
    Thank you,
    Felipe

    Hi Felipe,
Are you using a standard SAP RFC or a customized RFC interface???
I would also suggest to check the System dumps in the SAP system where the RFC is hanging.
    Thanks

  • 2LIS_02_ITM problems with 0deliveries

    Hi friends!
I'm having problems with 2LIS_02_ITM specifically with cancellations of goods receipts.
If there where a goods receipt canceled I get a record for the GR and a record for the cancellation but the last one doesn´t delivers negative values so the total quantities are wrong.
In the other hand, If I run that datasource for a document with just an item and a good receipt I get more than one record, some of them with 0REVERSEDOC = X and we can´t understand why if there is no cancellation
It's a bit difficult to explain but I hope some of you had work with this source and had the same problem.
In case it´s useful if you check query 0PUR_C01_Q01 you will get wrong values for 0DELIVERIES if the purchase order in the cube has a cancellation.
    I hope you understand!
    Thnaks a lot!

    Hi! me again...
may be this helps, see note 381267
we are on that scenario and we must get reversals and returns to discount 0DELIVERIES
    for example
    1. Goods receipt:  ALIEF: 1
    2. Reversal GR:    ALIEF: 0
    3. Goods receipt:  ALIEF: 1
but also we need to decrease received quantity. One main problem is that there is no data available on 2LIS_02_ITM indicating that certain record means a reversal or a cancelation record. If it were the case we could reverse values "by hand"...but not.
    Please some advice!
    Thanks really thanks!!!
    Best regards.
