Dear SRM Friends,
I have problem with finding the right approver for my workflow 14000088 one-step approval of contracts.
The process is easy:
My purchaser with user role: SAP_EC_BBP_PURCHASER should create the contract. Afterwards my Manager1 with user role: SAP_BBP_STAL_PURCHASER_MANAGER should approve this contract.
Beside I have to say, that my Manager stands above serval organisational units - but he is the only one - who has this role SAP_BBP_STAL_PURCHASER. And in my workflow this role ist determined.
So I aspect that my Manager1 will be displayd in Approval Preview - but it didn´t. Instead of that there appears the Manager2 of the organisational unit of my Purchaser.
But how can that be? Manager2 did´nt have the role SAP_BBP_STAL_PURCHASER.
I have checked following transaktions:

Hi,
The approver for one-step approval of contracts is determined from the org structure as the manager of the user that creates the contract. So this is working correctly for you since manager2 is the org manager. The check on the agents of the task also occurs and since this is set to general, then manager2 will always be selected. Basically the intersection between the agents of the task and the org unit manager will be selected. If you change the agent of the task to have the SAP_BBP_STAL_PURCHASER role, then you will get an error when creating the contract since no approver will be found.
If you want to have the approver determined in a different way then you would need to use the n-step approval badi workflow for contract, WS14000148. This will allow you to determine the approver using your own code.
By the way, if you want to change the agents for the task, then display the task in PFTC. Goto
Additional Data ->
Agent Assignment ->
Maintain ->
Click on Attrributes ->
Select radio button -> Forwarding not allowed ->
Now Select from the menu -> Agent Assignment -> Create
You should now be able to add a role.

The creation of the SC stays the same. Only the event linkage and the start conditions determine which workflow will be started.

WS14000044 Completion by Purchaser follwed by WS10000129 One Step approval

Hi Folks,
I have activated the WS14000044 Completion by Purchaser workflow and it works just fine.
My problem is that the approval WF WS10000129 One Step approval does not start automatically when the buyer has completed the SC.
The SC creator has to go to the SC and click on change and then order it before it goes to the approver.
Can this be true?

Difference between one step approval and N-step approval?

Hi Experts,
Can anyone tell what is major difference between one step approval and N step approval?
I guess its only one person will approve incase one step approval and where as in the N-step approval a shopping cart can be approved by many users under some prerequistes right??
can some one provide me some hints on this.....
how does it make a difference in workflows and how to mantain the settings for this in the SPRO. for this one to setup a one-step and N-step approvals. what are points to be taken care while setting up this?

1 step approval - Number of approvals will be 1
n step - number of approvals greater then 2(since std approval workflow present till 2 level)
The general customising steps for Workflows apply to both of them (like SWU3 customising.event linkage etc) but other then that for,
1 step approval -
-->Need to activate the starting conditions
-->Agent assignment to be done seperately for the Approval task
(Also the N step workflow can be used as 1 step workflow with number of approvals being set to 1 through the Logic in the badi.)
N step approval -
-->to be implemented through BADI BBP_WFL_APPROV_BADI .This BADi actually determines the Agents/approvers for the workflow.
-->As per my exp,this workflow is very unstable and for few updates,you may have to apply number of notes(e.g. Approval status not updated properly,graphical preview not visible properly etc)

Hotmail advised me to delete all contacts and change the password for that account, which I did on my laptop running windows XP. The change was successful and I was able to send and receive emails with no problem. I then had to change the account password on my iPhone 4s, which I did and it too was successful but when I came to change the password on my iMac, running the latest version of Lion it would not recognise the new password. I have tried to remove the account details and re-install but every time I go to add new account my old details are in the box. This is very frustrating as I use my iMac for all my profects and I need to access my email. Please help.

I had already deleted all reference to the hotmail account in question from the keychain access app, I have also tried to delete and re-instal the account details from within mail. The icon in the side bar dissapears but when I go to Add Account, the old account details are in the new account box. I then input my new password but am told that the server does not recognise it. If I access hotmail via google on the iMac I can get into my account with no problems. I am thinking there must be some other form of security system within the mac software that is blocking the new password. This is driving me nuts. I have been trying to resolve this for the last two days. Thank you for your advise anyway.

No you just need to turn on Tap to Click. Go into System Preferences - Trackpad and click the Point to Click tab and select the first box which will say Tap to Click and you should be in business.

Codec problem with one gateway

I am having a very strange problem with one of my gateways. No matter how I set up my regions and device pools I continue to have all calls go through this gateway as G729. This would be fine except that I can't do conference calls because of codec mismatches.
The gateway is a PRI running H323. CM 3.2.2(c) Gateway is a 3640 running 12.2.11(t)
All regions are currently set to G711.
I read something about a command under voice-port that sets the default codec. What I don't understand is, if this is what is causing it to go to G729, why is this the only gateway that ignores the regions.
Any help would be appreciated.

This feature provides the ability for a Cisco VoIP gateway to connect to other VoIP devices without necessarily knowing which codec is used for a call-setup. Also, this feature allows Cisco VoIP gateways to dynamically adjust to changes on remote devices. this will happend if u use maintain order at runtime at interface determination.
just uncheck this option if u dont neet EOIO.
if you are getting the problem if u r going for EO then the problem might be using same JDBC channel for all interfaces.
if each interface is expected with a high load then it better to go for dedicated channels for interfaces.
like INTERFACE A should use JDBC A channel and INTERFACE B should use JDBC B channel.

If you are having a problem with a JDBC interface (lets consider this to be a communication channel) then the communication is stopped (via that channel) (only in the case of EOIO).

Yes, get a 4TB max HD, 6TB drives are both new and have known issues, ...in fact so do most all 4TB drives.

It is a common premise that people are overjoyed at the dropping prices per terabyte on external hard drives, and the first thing that enters most peoples minds is "great, I can put all my stuff on one drive,... all of it!" However considerations need to be made in creating a giant single choke point for not mere data loss, but seriously large data loss. If there is at the very least yet another redundant copy, this is fine, otherwise do not consider it whatsoever. Some 3TB and 4TB drives of all mfg. have, at the time of this writing, reliability concerns currently and best recommendation is staying at 2TB drives or less.

Hello,
I'm not sure what the FK_ECOMM_SCH_DET constraint refers to, but I assume it is to the only OneToOne reference defined. Based on the mappings shown, you have told TopLink that ECommSchema has a 1:1 to ECommSchemaDet, so that ECommSchemaDet has to be inserted first. My guess is your constraint is the oposite, requiring that ECommSchema be inserted before ECommSchemaDet. If so, just change the by directional 1:1 so that ECommSchema->ECommSchemaDet is mapped by the ECommSchemaDet->ECommSchema relationship (ie switch things).

Problem with one computer: [RegTask] - Server rejected registration request: 3

Hi!
I having some problem with One of our clients, its mine :)
It does not register with the site
ClientIDManagerStartup.log:
MP_RegistrationManager.log
I have no idea why! I don't even use https and PKI. I have done a reinstalled the client by removing "C:\windows\SMSCFG.ini" and the SMS certificates before install but it still won't register. CCMSetup logs return successfull. Boundaries is setup
correctly.
I have also tried to uninstall ccmagent and readded the computer object in SCCM and installed it through client push but still the same problem.
I really don't want to reinstall the whole computer as I have already installed lots of applications i don't know if that will work anyway, could try to run a sysprep maybe.
Any ideas?

Problems with 1-Step RoboPDF

I am using RoboHelp X5. It seems I can't get RoboPDF to
start. Neither can I uninstall it to reinstall it. I want to be
able to directly generate PDF without going through Word first.
I have the RoboHelp 6 upgrade, but I wanted to finish my
current project before attempting the upgrade. Makes sense, right?
But I heard generating PDF is much easier in 6 than in X5. Is this
true? How difficult is the upgrade?

If you want to remove manually that's up to you. If RH6 finds

Oh good. I have already stumped the unofficial experts. Sigh.
While RoboHelp functions just fine, RoboPDF has never functioned.
And to make things even better, while RoboPDF installed, it will
not run. Why? Because when I checked the shortcut's properties, and
looked at the execution path, the path was incorrect. The path
pointed to where the exe file was not. I have never seen that. It
pointed to an empty folder. I searched for the exe file, found it,
and corrected the path. Still no go. I think I will have to visit
the guys over at Adobe, unless you folks have a brilliant idea.
