Problem with opening interactive forms

Hi All,
I configured the online/offline interactive forms web dynpro scenario on NW04s SP 09 and Adobe Reader 7.0.9.
When I start my application in the portal, the following error message occurs in Adobe Reader:
'This document contained certain rights to enable special features in Adobe Reader. The document has changed since it was created and these rights are no longer valid. Please contact the author for the original version of this document'
The Form is displayed but I can't type anything into it.
I checked SAP NOTE 917773 and 937460. Both solutions didn't help.
The time zones on the Web AS and on my Client are the same and I have Administrator rights on my client.
I saved the form and copied it to other client, and I realized that the form is OK so the problem has to be in my client.
What could be the reason for this error message?

Hi Yoel,
Do u have writer rights avaialble for ur user??If not u have to get that first.If its showing the pdf ,that means u have reader rights ,same way u have to get it for writer also.

Data Passing Problem with Adobe Interactive Forms

Hello all,
I am trying to create a Guided Procedure to implement an offline Adobe Interactive form. This form is based on the standard Requisition Request form used in MSS for e-Recruiting.
I've copied the standard form and updated the layout to ZCI using the appropriate transaction (not manually). After that, I've changed the Interface and layout. But to get the Form in the portal you need to have a .xpd file. Therefore, I've tested the form in preview mode, saved a copy as a PDF file and opened this copy in the standalone Adobe Lifecycler Designer. In the standalone version you are able to save the form as a PDF (not possible using transaction SFP).
My question 1 is if this is a wrong approach and there is a better way to retrieve the xpd file.
Next to that, I wrote a RFC function to retrieve data in the backend. This function is working and now I try to pass the data to the Form in the GP (using prefilling). The data is never passed, any points that I need to check there. The data used to export is a structure that contains a number of table types, because Adobe has issues with importing tables it seems. The form is working correctly in the backend.

Problem with Sap interactive form by Adobe control

Hi,
I'm using NWDS version 7.0.21 .
I downloaded and installed LiveCycleDesigner 7.1 from service.sap.com .
I restarted my computer.
I start NWDS and open an existing WD java project, and i tryed to add an adobe interactive form control into existing view.
That time error below poped-up.
How can i fix this problem.

save the form on the local machine,

Problems with Multiple Interactive Forms

Hi,
I am making one Web Dynpro applications having 5 diffrent bapies.Now i have to make 5 interactive forms for that bapies in single view.
Can any one suggest me what should my approach for that. I mean i have to make differnt diffrent views which contain Interactive form . Or make only one view and put all interactive forms in that. please suggest me which is preferable way .

We have one shippment application. In that application we use five diffrent bapies in single model. So we have to attach five PDF forms to 5 diffrent views. So My question is that i have to create one view and keep all pdfs in to that or I have to create 5 diffrent view which contains single pdf. Please suggest me.Which one is preferable.

Problem while openning Interactive Form

Hi All,
I am facing an propblem while openning the Interactive PDF. I created an interactive PDF in Adobe LiveCycle Designer v8.0.
The Adobe Reader was 8.1. The form was working well and after quite few days i am got this below message, but the same form was openning well in other systems with adobe reader 9.1 and i updated the reader with 9.1 in my system aslo and i am still getting this message. What would be the problem and kinldy provide a solution for this.
"This document enabled extended features in Adobe Reader. The document has been changed since it was created and use of extended features is no longer available. Please contact the author for the original version of this document."

1. Check your Authorization
2. Are you using some other language in adobe form
3. Ask Your Basis team to restart the Server
4. Check if any upgrade needed for your Adobe reader
5. Increase the Virtual Memory of you are System.

Problem with opening My forms

I cant open formcentral - it just keep on going - pleace wait - your form files are being loaded - and nothing happends ?? What to do ??

Do you know if you have limitted local storage on your machine? FormsCentral uses the local storage a lot to update the application.
Can you please try this for me :
FIRST, Close FormsCentral for Acrobat desktop application
If you are on a windows machine, open a Command Prompt window and type : "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 11.0\FormsCentral\FormsCentralForAcrobat.exe" -repair
If you are on a mac machine, open a Terminal window and type : /Applications/Adobe\ Acrobat\ XI\ Pro/FormsCentral\ For\ Acrobat.app/Contents/MacOS/Adobe\ FormsCentral -repair
This should launch FormsCentral for Acrobat (if it doesn't then launch the application manually)
In FormsCentral For Acrobat go to Help > Check for Updates...
Choose "Update now and restart the application". Then click "OK". Then click "Restart".
This should close and reopen the application (if it doesn't relaunch automatically then launch the application manually)
Let me know what the version is (Help > About FormsCentral...) after those steps... or if you have any trouble going through these steps.
Hopefully you should be able to see your local forms and sign-in after this. If not then there might be something corrupted with one of your local files. We will look at those if you still have issues.

which version do you use? I use Firefox 2.0.0.6 and flash player 9 and the presentation starts with no problem.
Maybe try to get some support from http://www.articulate.com/ too.

Problem with ADOBE Interactive forms

Hi Gurus,
I have a form which contails fields after dynamic table records. I need to display the signture and other details after I populate the content of the table which is inside my master page. I am calling this form from my se38 program.I have used table type to display the data. Can any body advice me how to do it.

Follow this design approach bring your table design from master page to the layout
Form1 ---Form Elements Root node
|---SubForm_Form2 (Parent form with layout type flowed top - bottom & allow page breaks with in content)
               |--- Suborm3( layout type fixed)
                        |----------Table.
               |---Subform4(for your independent field including signature layout type fixed)
                       |------- All the independent fields
With this approach at all times you will see the table data first followed by your signature fields also the advantage is that even if the table data is spread across more than one page it will automatically move to the next page and will see the signature only once afte completion of this table.

Problems with Adobe Interactive Forms

I'm working on a report that have a header with two dynamic tables (with fixed rows count) and the body have other two dynamic tables with a large amount of data.
The first doubt is:
I put my header on the Master Page, and in the first page of report, the header data appears ok, but when the second page comes, just the data contained in the root node appears in the header. Neither the data contained in a node 1..1 appeared.
The second doubt is:
In the report body, I've two dynamic tables with a large amount of data, so, when my table reach the end of the page, I need to add a page break and continue in the next page, adding the column header again. I'm trying to set the "Allow Page Breaks within Content" and "Overflow Leader", but I can't set these properties in a subform of type "Flow Content", flow direction "Table". So, how can i add Page Breaks ?

Perhaps your interpretation of the Master Page is different than mine. I never put anything but static content in my Master Page. For instance for the form in my weblog my Master page has a head with a logo and Footer with a page number and some static text.
In my Master Page I have single Page that I called MainPage. I then create a Content Area within this MainPage.
All of my variable elements go into a separate Page. I set that entire page object as Flow Content (flow direction Top to Bottom) with Allow Page Breaks within Content marked. I set the Place to (in Content Area "Name" where Name is the name of the Content Area in the Master Page). The After is set to Go To Page MainPage(Back to the Master Page Object).
With this my paging with tables and Master Page content all work correctly. I can do page breaks and repeat my table headers, but continue the content normally. Hopefully this helps.

Print problems with Adobe Interactive Forms

if i push the print preview button or the print button out of transaction SFP, or out of the Test
Program FP_TEST_00, then the sandglass appears. But nothing happens.

we have 3 sap-systems printing via one ads-machine.
the problem was, that the second sap-system was not maintained as a separate destination in visual administrator on the ads.
so the sap-system could send an request, but got no answer.

Scripting error when opening Interactive Form

Hi all,
I'm experimenting with adobe interactive forms (in web dynpro), but things aren't going as expected. I'm getting scripting errors when clicking (in Internet Explorer) on a link that opens a view with an interactive form. Please see below for details.
I've found a similar error description /thread/80059 [original link is broken], but the context is different. It seems to be related to namespaces, but I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hello Jeroen and welcome to the SDN!
It seems like an error in the WebDynpro-part, not in the Adobe forms-part. Please check if all your elements (views, windows, controllers, etc.) are in valid namespaces.
Could you try to create an application for the WebDynpro-project in the NDS, and try to <i>deploy new archive and run </i>? Does this work?
Perhaps you could even copy the project, and replace the Adobe Inter Form element by a static text, to test if it is in the WebDynpro part or that it really has something to do with the Adobe.

Problem with navagation of forms

Hi everybody
I have a problem with navigation of forms
I have two forms say a and b.In form a i have a button and i want, when i press that button the form b should open.I wrote when_button_pressed trigger for that button in form a as open_form('b'); Raise form_trigger_failure;
When i run form a and press the button form b is not opening.It is giving me a message as 'form b cannot be opened'
Can somebody tell me where i am wrong.I have compiled b.

Why are you using Raise form_trigger_failure;
You don't need it.
Try doing open_form('b.fmx');
If this doesnt work
I think your problem is that the fmx file for form b is not in the path to be found.
make sure to include the direcoty in the forms60_path or have it in the same directory as form a.

ISR with Adobe Interactive Forms: java.io.FileNotFoundException

I am currently working on an ISR with Adobe Interactive Forms project, and I must say that I find the configuration rather complex, however until now I kept making progress.
Now I've come to the next error given by webdynpro, when testing the scenario from the testbutton in transaction QISRSCENARIO:

Indeed, this path does not exist on our portal. I assume this has something to do with credential files, but since the ADS is running fine from ABAP I cannot see why.

Found it. The problem occurs on the conbination ECC SP8 and Netweaver 13.

Problem with opening of PDF in my webmail application

I have a problem with opening a pdf file in my webmail application of my internet provider in apple safari since yesterday. When I wanted to open up a pdf file I got a pop up message to allow a connection between adobe and the webmail application which I did. Since then I can not open up a pdf file. If I go to another browser or if I use email from another internet provider I use too it works and I can open up. It seems to be a blockage of the specific combination of this webmail application and safari.
What can I do ?
