I tried to check many preferences, and tried to open and close many times CS5 and LR3 but nothing, I am lost !
Thanks for the help,
Best

  • Problem with opening raw image in CS3 extended

    I just installed my CS3 Extened on my new Windows 8 Desktop and when I tried to open a Nikon raw image I get an error telling me it's the wrong type.  How do I fix this ?  It was working on my Windows 7 computer.

    This just started when I installed the CS 3 Extended on my new Windows 8 computer.  It only affects my ability to open Nikon D90 Raw files. Everything else (standard JPG) works fine. I also have NX Capture 2 from Nikon and it opens the RAW files fine.  I also have Adobe elements 9 and it opens the same RAW files without any problems.
    The same problem developed when I installed the CS 3 on my HP laptop last year.  It still will not open raw files.
    Thanks

  • Problem with S-raw from 1Ds mark III and Lightroom 2.5 (ACR 5.5)

    Hello,
    We develop over 100000 Raws per day using Lightroom 2.5 and a Canon 1 ds mark III. For the past six months we have been using the S-raw format for compatibility with our program Workflow. We’ve been having stability problems linked to luminosity, particularly differences in yellows, reds, oranges, and beiges.
    This artefact lightens the whole of the image, which gives us several light densities within the same image series.
    We’ve done several tests with photos shot in S-raw and JPEG simultaneously. The problem does not appear in the JPEGs, or in JPEGs generated by the S-raw format.
    This is why we have concluded that the problem comes from Lightroom’s calculation algorithm for S-raw. This hypothesis is confirmed as the problem is only in Lightroom 2.5 (we’ve tested 5 competing programmes and have not had the same problem).
    Ciao.

    Problems with Lightroom should be posted in the Lightroom forum.
    If you are having similar problems with some version of ACR, check the FAQ (http://forums.adobe.com/thread/311515?tstart=0) and provide more details, samples, etc... in a later post.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi,
    The workitem is not completed, it can be viewed if logged on to the SAP system externally (not from the Icon in outlook mail).
    The issue is it cannot be viewed and the SAP screen hangs when it is clicked from the Icon in the Outlook mail.

  • Problem with opening browser from Java app.

    Hi guys, I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, so please excuse me if I'm wrong. I'm trying to open an html page (it's a help file) from a Java application. I'm currently using java.awt.Desktop.     browse(URI uri); which gets the job done, as long as I don't pass any parameters to the page. (e.g. http://www.site.com/site.html?param1=1). Doing that gives me an IOException. Is there a way to do this without using the JNLP API?

    This is the file path copied directly from the browser's address bar:
    file:///home/riaan/EMCHelp/Help.html?page=WorkFlowActivityCategory.html"{code}
    Which causes the app to throw an exception, but when I change it to:
    {code}file:///home/riaan/EMCHelp/Help.html{code}
    it opens Help.html in the browser.  That's why I thought that it might be the query that's a problem.  Perhaps it's a simple issue of not escaping a character or something that I failed to see.

  • IE Problem with opening XLS from remote host

    So I’m having a problem opening/saving my generated Excel Spreadshhet in Internet Explorer on a remote client. Basically, I click on my button to generate the spreadsheet, it then sends the data to my servlet that generates the document and then sends it back in a response. When I do via localhost everything works the way its supposed to, I get the document to open in IE. However if I try this from another machine, the document doesn’t open; when tried in Firefox remotely everything works. So I then started down the road of reviewing my response headers and haven’t had any luck.
          resp.setContentType("application/vnd.ms-excel");
          resp.setContentLength(document.size());
          resp.setHeader("Pragma", "no-cache");
          resp.setHeader("Expires", "-1");
          resp.setHeader("Accept-Ranges", "bytes");
          resp.setHeader("Content-disposition", "inline; filename=report.xls");
          OutputStream outputStreamToClient = resp.getOutputStream();
          document.writeTo(outputStreamToClient);
          try {
            outputStreamToClient.flush();
            outputStreamToClient.close();
          } catch (Exception e) {
            if (DEBUG) {
              System.out.println(e.getMessage());
          }My next step was to run a wireshark trace and verify that I was in fact getting my generated document sent to the remote machine and I was able to confirm the response was in fact sent and that all my necessary headers were in place. I’m open to any suggestions as I'm quite stumped at the moment.
    Matt

    So I made the changes for removing the extra headers as was recommend and still didn't have a problem. Now I did realize I forgot to mention that this is all being executed from an Applet on the client side. I build up my request dynamically in the post string and then send it via the connection I create. Now I did actually notice when I reworked my DEBUG statements that on the applet side I would get the following
    AppletConnection.getContent() warning: no content-type
    However, I have a servlet that generates a PDF based on the same data and that works just fine off a remote client and also returns the above "no content-type" error. Below I have the code from the Applet side that is actually sending the data to the servlet and receiving the response. I just wanted to reiterate that I am assuming the content-length field is in fact valid because I am able to successfully send a spreadsheet to a remote client if they are using FireFox as opposed to IE.
          final URLConnection appletConnection = url.openConnection();
          // inform the connection that we will send output and accept input
          appletConnection.setDoInput(true);
          appletConnection.setDoOutput(true);
          // Don't use a cached version of URL connection.
          appletConnection.setUseCaches(false);
          appletConnection.setDefaultUseCaches(false);
          appletConnection.setRequestProperty("Content-Type", "application/x-www-form-urlencoded");
          //Write object to servlet
          OutputStreamWriter wr = new OutputStreamWriter(appletConnection.getOutputStream());
          wr.write(post);
          try {
            wr.flush();
          } catch (Exception e) {
              System.err.println("Error: Could not write object to servlet from client!");
          try {
            appletConnection.getContent();
          } catch (IOException ioe) {
            System.err.println("AppletConnection.getContent() warning:"+ioe.getMessage());
          }Thanks,
    Matt

    You will have to do the update manually for the app store version. Instructions are here:

    (that's for 6.6 but the steps/file paths are the same for 6.7)

  • I'm stuck! Going from LR3 to CS5 I don't get Camera Raw dialog box

    I'm stuck. When I edit pics from LR3 to CS5 the Camera Raw dialog box does not open. Everything is updated.  I can get Camera Raw dialog box to open if I open a photo directly in to CS5.  I have looked at my external editing options.  All seems fine.  Please help.  Thanks!

    I'm not a LR user, but I believe it serves as your raw converter (similarly to ACR), therefore when you edit directly out of LR into CS5 the image is already rendered ready for CS5 usage.  If you start directly in CS5 then ACR is invoked for raw file conversion.

    I have a problem with opening downloaded files from the internet; zip types. Can you tell me an app to open these types of formats of files?

    It should unzip if you double-cick.
    What are you seeing happen when you do that?
    Select a .zip file in the Finder and Get Info (cmd-i). What is set for it to Open With. It should be Archive Utility.

  • Is anyone experiencing problems with opening mission control from the desktop.  Running mountain lion with parallels 7 and windows 7

    is anyone experiencing problems with opening mission control from the desktop.  Running mountain lion with parallels 7 and windows 7

    I had been having a similar problem on Lion with Safari pdf files despite downloading the latest Adobe Reader XI.
    I would constantly get the same messages - There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired. And I would get a blank page when I tried to print the pdf if I tried printing from the Safari web page using File - Print from the top toolbar on my laptop.
    Then I came across the grey Safari lozenge with action icons.
    This allowed me, without downloading the pdf, to print the pdf file direct from the Safari page by using the Print icon on the grey lozenge that appears centrally three quarters down the screen.
    Then I discovered that if I save the pdf using the Save icon from this same grey lozenge on the Safari page I can open and print this pdf version from my desktop.
    I've tested it with a couple of different pdf files and these methods work using the grey lozenge icons but the same pdfs files don't work using File - Save As on the Tool Bar.

  • Problem with NEF files from Nikon D4

    Hi everyone. I find a problem with nef files from my Nikon D4. When files are open in ViewNX2 (free viewer software from Nikon) they are perfect, as shooted... but in ACR they are very different... I use LR4 or CS5 with ACR 6.7 and the difference seems to be linked at D-Lighting function. My impression is that ACR dont read this option and picture are very very dark that original shootings. Anyone have this problem?

    This question used to be answered in the FAQ before they revised it.  So, here we go again.  ViewNX is capable of reading all of the in-camera settings such as, camera profile, saturation, sharpness and other settings.  It is capable of doing this because it is Nikon Software, and they have the ability to program it to read the settings from their raw images.  Lightroom does not read those settings from Nikon cameras or any other brand of camera.  Part of the reason is that different camera makers store those settings differently.
    When I first started using Lightroom I adjusted one of my images that represented what I normally shoot until it looked the way I wanted it.  Then I saved those adjustments as my default settings for the camera.  From that point onward, whenever I import images those settings are automatically applied, and it takes care of the vast majority of my images.  Of course, I still have to make individual adjustments.  But my default settings greatly reduce the amount of how they work that I have to do.
    Active D-lighting is is one of those features that Lightroom does not recognize.  You would be well advised not to use it, or else create a preset to simulate its effect.  It will provide no benefit to your Lightroom work.
    This is a fundamental difference with Lightroom, and something that must be understood and implemented if you are going to use the program effectively.
    I realize this question was asked in the ACR forum and I referenced Lightroom throughout.  But the principle is the same, and the recommended procedure is the same.
