Problem with Option GlobeTrotter Express HSUPA

I hawe following problem. Yesterday i purchased а Option GlobeTrotter Express HSUPA ExpressCard whis no lock to any carrier. I install GlobeTrotter Connect from ZeroCD and try to connect to the internet (i'm using Kyivstar). The initialization of the Express card was sucssess. But when i try connect to the internet i hawe next error: Connection could be established. Please verify your network settings. Please, help me configure network settings correctly.

I find the solution my self. I try to connect whith access point which was not connected on my number. When i change APN a connect to the nitwork without any problem.

Problem with option buttons

Hi!
We have a problem with Option buttons.
Example: We create a new document , then we add a group of Option buttons, so far no problem, but we can't have different description on each button. Say we create four option buttons, option 1, option 2, option 3 and option 4. They are now grouped together so that we can only choose one option, but we also want to have different descriptions on the tooltip when the user hovers over. But when we set for example "Option 1" as a description on the first button, all buttons get the same description, what is wrong!

A field's Tooltip entry is a "child" of the field's Name (in the General tab of the field's Properties dialog).
So, all fields of the same Name will have the same Tooltip.
Perhaps this is the problem?

Chroma Key problems with Final Cut Express 4

I had no problems with the Chroma Key in Final Cut Express 4 before. It was working perfectly fine untill I brought anther Macbook Pro last year in August. I installed it on the new computer and then the Chroma Key didn't work. Final Cut opens up and the other filters work fine but I can't get the chroma key to work. Any possible reasons?

I am experiencing an interseting problem with Final Cut Express on OSX Lion. I teach in a Mac Lab at my school. Today I was trying to teach Chroma Keying- which I have been doing for years - but for some reason the color selector would just not key out anything. I tried it on four or five different machines, and it turns out that ONLY my machines that were running OSX Leopard would allow the Chroma Key to function. I have two machines running Lion and the Chroma Key would not work on EITHER of them. I followed the exact same steps, and all of the settings were identical. The hardware was also the exact same package from machine to machine. I feel like there must be an issue with OSX Lion that is breaking the Chroma Key filter. Can anyone help?

Problem with optional attribute caching on a custom tag

Hello,
I've created a tag by extending TagSupport. I have one attribute that is optional. I'm having a problem with this attribute since the tag is cached. If the value is not specified in the tag, it is always using the previous value from the past request.
I understand why this is happening, but I wonder if there is anyway to reset this value besides doing it at the end of the doStartTag or in the doEndTag methods? I simply want it to be an empty string if it is not in the request.

Thats abit overkill in my opinion.Probably yes, but its a cleaner option. In case your doEndTag handles custom exceptions, you would anyhow need to put this code in a finally block, right ?

Having said that, different containers implement the spec a bit differently. For example, in our project, we use weblogic and for wl, we put our clean up code in the release() method which according to the spec, needs to be called only before gc. Weblogic implementation is a bit different - its called after doEnd() for every use of the tag.

I have just installed oracle 10g express edition and I have a problem with the script editor. I can write anything in the window that appears below buttons undo,redo and find, It is like disabled. I use windows XP, Firefox 2.0 ( I have also tried with Iexplorer and It does not work either). I have javascript enabled.
anyone knows what is the problem?
Later,I have installed it in a virtual machine of Windows 2003 Server and It works well but I`d rather use it in my Microsoft XP

It looks like you can fix this if you replace the codearea.xbl.xml and codearea.iframe.html files in the
/i/editor folder with files from an Apex 2.2.1 installation - such as the one on apex.oracle.com.
Since I don't know what the licensing implications are, I will let you figure out the details.

Problems with java regular expressions

Hi everybody,
Could someone please help me sort out an issue with Java regular expressions? I have been using regular expressions in Python for years and I cannot figure out how to do what I am trying to do in Java.
For example, I have this code in java:

I have tried other patterns and input text but the issue remains the same: no matter what, I cannot capture any paranthesized expression found in the pattern except for the first one. I tried the same example with Jakarta Regexp 1.5 and that works without any problems, I get what I expect.
I am using Java 1.5.0 on Mac OS X 10.4.

After instal program i launch "Go to Database Home Page" and IE write to me "Page not found" (web adress is http://127.0.0.1:8080/apex).

have registered version.When I said 'register' I didn't mean have it licensed, Oracle XE doesn't require any kind of license registration, it is free. By registering it I meant a technical issue. Once the database is started it tries to contact the listener at 1521 port, once contacted the oracle instance registers itself against it, and if it is successful you will have the administrator's page initialized and ready to access at the default 8080 port.

My Option 3G card works great at home (NL) however, whilst roaming, and with a data account which permits roaming, I am unable to get it to work with a 2.5G or 3G connection. The PPP session fails as such:

A colleague thinks that the problem with the IPCP line is to do with header compression, which, when using the Leopard native Option drivers, you can not disable with "PPP" settings as you can if you were using the device as a Modem or under 10.4.

Anyone have any thoughts on how to get around whatever is going on with the IPCP errors?

Having turned on debug mode for pppd, I've found out more about the problem and determined that a lot of people are having similar issues with HSDPA. The problem has, as far as I can tell, only been fixed by people who recompile pppd and put in some extra hacks...I'm hesitant to do that on my Leopard box, but if I must, I will.

I also send a request for an IPv6 address which is rejected. Interestingly, you can't disable this in Apple's pppd with "noipv6" in your /etc/ppp/options file, it still requests it anyway.

It seems that people with Linux have hacked their pppd to accept the ms-wins values and that worked. I've tried setting ms-wins to various values in /etc/ppp/options, including 0.0.0.0 and the value provided by the server, but as I understand it, this value is only used when you ARE the ppp server, not when you're the client, as I am...so I would need some way to accept those values and throw them away.
In the case where it worked, on my home (NL) connection, the session goes like this:

I've changed the actual IPs, but after the second request from Leopard for the same values, the ppp server at my "home" provider sends back something which triggers another NAK and then a request for just an IP address (no ms-dns). At that point the other side sends back a valid IP for me to use, and valid DNS servers, I ACK that, and everything connects as normal.
Not sure how to proceed from here, short of trying to find Darwin sources and hacking pppd...

Has anyone experienced problems with their airport express since yosemite?

Since updating to Yosemite, I am constantly having issues with my Airport Express. It flashes yellow, indicating no connection. I have attempted to:
Soft Reset: Unplug it (Airport Express) and plug in again
Factory Reset: Unplug it, push & hold the reset button with a paper clip while pulling it back in.
A Tip From Another Site: Unplug our Time Capsule we use as a router & the Airport Express, wait 3 minutes - then plug in the Time Capsule, wait another minute - then plug in Airport Express. This worked for a very short amount of time, then the light started flashing yellow again.
Again, I had no problems before updating to Yosemite.
I look forward to & appreciate any help resolving this issue.

Audio Problems with Final Cut Express

I exported a video to wmv format and when I play it back I have a problem with the audio at the end. At the end the sound seems to go into a loop and the the last words are repeated 3 times with a static sound. It plays fine on my MAC the problem only happens on a PC. The audio file was imported as a wma.

FCE does not export WMV without third party support. You should contact whoever produced the WMV export module.

Another Internet connection problem with solariis dev express

I have the same problem, i was installed new solaris dev express , my ifconfig output detects my nic
and my name nic is nge0, but i dont connect to internet.
i was reading this forums but the result is null.
i have a cable modem and i using a ethernet connection.
i use this command:
*#ifconfig nge0 dhcp start*
the result is null the dhcp doesnt assing an ip to my nic
then i create a */etc/hostname.nge0* file and follow comments that i seeing on this forums
*#uname -n > /etc/hostname.nge0* ...too i create a */etc/dhcp.nge0*
again i wrote:
*#ifconfig nge0 dhcp start*
but no , the result is null
then i follow more comments on this solaris forums and i added the dns in */etc/resolv.conf*
but the result still null
later i check the gateway using the comand
*#netstat -nr*
but only i see my loopback ip --> 127.0.0.1
too i used the command
*#sys-unconfig* , reboot ..mmm no
but still the same problem
my question is how to set the internet connection using a cable modem that workkssss!!!!!!!?

I would recommend that you do the following as a minimum:
Power-down the modem, AirPort base station, and computer(s).
(OPTIONAL) While all of the devices are powered-down, perform a "factory default" reset on the base station. This will get it back to its "out-of-the-box" configuration and make setting it up much easier, especially if you use the "Assist me" process within the AirPort Utility. (ref: Resetting an AirPort Base Station or Time Capsule)
After the base station resets, go ahead and power it back down.
Power-up the modem; wait at least 10-15 minutes.
Power-up the base station; wait at least 5-10 minutes.
Power-up your computer(s).
In this basic configuration, computers connected to the base station, either by wire or wireless (as appropriate for the base station type), should now be able to access the Internet through the ISP's modem. Once Internet connectivity has been verified, you can use the AirPort Utility to configure the base station for wireless security and any other desired options.

Problems with my AirPort Express!

Ok i have a PowerBook G4 and I got myself the AirPort Express. I hook it up and set it up. I call my ISP and they tell me how to configure the TCP/IP options and so I did. Now what happens is that the AirPort Express has the little green light on and my Mac says that I am connected to the internet via AirPort and that the signal is 100% full and everything. But still when I open Safari or try to use any other program that uses internet its like if i didn't have any internet. What can I do?

Ok I fianlly was able to solve the problem. Im going to post here how I did it just in case it might help anyone. The IP my router has is 10.0.0.1 and the IP given to the network by Mac was 10.0.1.1 for some reason they where having problems working together. What I did to solve this is that I went into Application/Utilities/AirPort Admin Utiliie. There you will see your base, if you don't your problem is elsewear. Click the "Configure" on top with your base selected andd the will open a window. In that window you select network and where it says "Use a single IP adrees (using DHCP and NAT)" you select one of the other two IP adresses Mac offers. In my case I choose 172.16.1.1 and it works fine. Hit the "Update" bottom at the lower right corner and it should work fine. Hope this helps anyone.

The files exists to the path who is looking for them and tell me they don't exist
can you help me please with this problem?

i've reinstalled the database and now it give's me just the last 3 error messages,and i don't now what to do :
