Problem With Org Id - Operating Unit

Hi All,
I open a session in an instance of database. I set the org_id in this way :
begin
dbms_application_info.set_client_info(131);
end;
When I run this query "select org_id from po_headers", the only purchase orders that appear are related with org_id 131.
However, if I want to get the number of org_id with the following statement the number with shows the database is 81.
FND_PROFILE.VALUE('ORG_ID');
In addition, if I show a message inside a concurrent report, like this :
srw.message('02','profile : '||fnd_profile.value('ORG_ID'));
And I'm with 131 responsibility, the number that shows me the concurrent is 81 too.
I don't understand whay it happen.
Best Regards,
Mariano.-

  • Problem with field  KONWA-Rate Unit(Currency or Percentage) of table KONP

    Hi Gurus,
    I m facing problem with field 'KONWA -Rate Unit (Currency or Percentage)' of table KONP. This field is showing ‘Currency’ and '%' both in table KONP. For some materials its showing currency value and for some its showing '%'. Due to which its creating load problems. My question is how this '%' is coming (means is there any calculation behind that or something else) in table KONP and how can I identify this.
    I am sure u will have the answer for this question so Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    take the following example: you sell liquor to customers; in your country, when you sell liquor your company is entitled to pay customs and excise fees to governamental authorities.
    These excises and duties are a percentage of the retail price. You'll then create such a condition record with this rate so that you calculation schema will post the correct value during the processing of billing documents...
    hope this shed light
    Olivier.

  • OneKey Recovery 6.0. Problem with back up operating system from recovery cd'ies

    Hello, i have problem with back up operating system from recovery cdies.
    When i acceped start button to backup partition system i get an alert "space not enough"
    I had linux before and i whant change it to windows back. i deleted all ext partitions. I have all unlocated space.I shouldnt have problems.
    Please help me

    I would use something like Partition Magic or Acronis Disk Director to first create a FAT32 partion for your C: Drive where your OS will go and be sure to leave 10GB or so unallocated for the secondary FAT32 Partition where your "factory image" will go.
    You then create a Logical Drive with the unallocated space and make it hidden (PM or ADD will do this).   Install your OS (preferably Windows XP if you want less problems) and then after you have setup everything the way you want (drivers, applications, etc), then use Acronis True Image to create your "factory restore" image on the hidden partition and activate the Startup Recovery Manager.
    This is the way I do it and it works like a charm!

  • Problems with Assign Task operation

    I'm having a problem with the Assign Task operation. When I export an application of the LiveCycle ES2 environment and import into another environment LiveCycle ES2, my process get stalled in the all Assign Task operations, and the only way to solve the problem I found is to redo all the Assign Task operations. But in an application with many Assign Task operations, this solution becomes very complicated.
    Anyone who has encountered this problem could help me better to fix it?

  • Relation between item master org and operating Unit

    How single item master org can relate to multiple operating Unit so that items defined at Master Org level can be accessed in other operating units ?

    Hi,
    Item will be accessed in inventory organizations which you assigned the item to.
    To access items from particular Operating Unit in Purchasing module
    define Operating Unit Organization as a Inventory Organization as well.
    Then choose this Organization as a Inventory Organization in Purchasing : Setup>Organizations>Financial Options.
    In Order Management you choose an Operating Unit which items can be accessed.
    Each item assign to Item Master Organization and to Operating Unit Organization and to required Inventory Organizations.
    This works in 11i. I dont know how it is in R12.
    regards,
    Marcin

  • Problem with ORG Determination in Transactions

    I am having an issue with ORG determination in Business Transactions
    The Organization area is not being populated as required.
    I want to pull in the org data from the User (Org data set in Sales Area section of the BP), all users have the same org data, when running the transaction this is not working, this used to work ok but no longer does??
    Settings in org data profile is set to '14000146 - Org. Unit Using Transaction Type', this brings back two errors:
    1 - No organizational units found
    2 - No organizational unit could be selected
    I have tried using the 10000194 - UserOrgUnit but this causes a pricing determination error relating to config
    any ideas anyone??
    regards
    Barry

    Hello Barry,
    To use rule 14000146, you need to add the used transaction type as an attribute of the org. unit that you want it to be determined.
    To do this, please execute t-cd ppoma_crm, open your org. unit, go to the [Attributes] tab, add the transaction type into the 'Transaction Type' attibute, then check on 'Obj. permitted in determination' save.
    Wiith rule 10000194 you got the org. unit determined. For the pricing error, I think it might be related to the pricing procedure determination. If yes, please check your IMG activity:
    SPRO
    - CRM
      - Basic Functions
       - Pricing
        - Pricing in the Business Transaction
         - Determine Pricing Procedures
    Here, the Sales organization, Dis. Channel, Division are the org. data determined in the transaction; the Doc. Pricing Procedure is the one defined in the transaction type (IMG activity: Define Transaction Types->Assignment of Business Transaction Categories-> BUS2000115 -> Customizing header -> field 'Doc. Pric.Proc.'); the Cust. Pricing Procedure is taken from the sold-to party's BP master sales area data (in the billing) tab.
    Hope the information could be helpful.
    Best regards,
    Maggie

  • Problems with multiple row operations in a dataTable

    Dear fellows,
    I have a strange problem, i want to do multiple row deletion in a dataTable. Can any one tell me a better way to do it. Because the way i am doing it, it is causing me strange problems. In some places it start working and in some it dont.
    The way i am doing it, it has the following code:
    <h:form>
    <h:dataTable id="list" value="#{availableRoomsList}"  var="RoomTypes" >
    <h:column>
         <f:facet name="header">
                 <h:outputText value="Select"/>
           </f:facet>
                 <h:selectBooleanCheckbox value="#{roomSelection[RoomTypes]}" >
                   </h:selectBooleanCheckbox>
    </h:column>
    <h:column>
         <f:facet name="header">
              <h:outputText value="Available Date"/>
         </f:facet>
         <h:outputText value="#{RoomTypes.availableDate}"/>
    </h:column>
    <h:column>
         <f:facet name="header">
              <h:outputText value="Available Rooms"/>
         </f:facet>
         <h:outputText value="#{RoomTypes.noOfRooms}"/>
    </h:column>
    </h:dataTable>
    <h:commandButton value="delete Selected Rooms" action="#{RoomResvAction.deleteRooms}" />
    </h:form>Now the back end code that i am using is as follows:
         private List<HotelRoomTypes> availableRoomsList;
          Map<HotelRoomTypes, Boolean> roomSelection = new HashMap<HotelRoomTypes, Boolean>();
             public String deleteRoom(){
                  System.out.println("In the delete selection method aad.");
                  try{
                       for (HotelRoomTypes item: availableRoomsList) {
                          Boolean selected = roomSelection.get(item);
                          if (selected!=null && selected) {
                               roomSelection.put(item, false);
                               //deleteRoom(item);
                  }catch(Exception e){
                       //e.printStackTrace();
                  return null;
             }The problem with the JSF code is when i click the command button it do not calls the associated action method with it. i dont know what is the problem with the code.
    And as far as the backend code is concern it should work fine.
    can anybody help me on this matter.

    thanks BalusC ,
    I will see this example and let you know, thanx for the help.
    but also please try and see my code and tell me what is wrong in it. because at some places it works and at some it simply dont . dont know why?
    well once again thanx for the help

  • Problem with Org Unit Change

    Hello Experts.
    We have a problem here.
    There is an employee say : X in position ABC which belongs to Org Unit XYZ.
    Now, there is a change in the Org Structure. The postion has not changed, the employee belongs to the same position. But the Org Unit has changed to PQR and has a new chief.
    The problem is, in the SAP Portal, the Organization assignment is picking up the Chief of XYZ instead of the new chief.
    What could be the reason for this?
    Regards
    Avik

    Hi Avik,
    Check dates on records for ABCu2019s A|003 relationship to PQR and chiefu2019s A|012 relationship to PQR. Maybe the old records were not delimited and hence they are getting picked up.

  • Problem with the PUT operation some files won't transfer help please

    Hi everyone,
    I am using DWCS3 on OS X Leoard 10.5 and MAMP
    I am putting together a basic index.html page and then I want to template it. Pretty basic stuff.
    However when I want to view the index.html page in my MAMP testing server, In the middle of the PUT operation I get a message saying;
    File activity incomplete 1 file or folder was not completed.
    index.html - Put operation successful
    - error occurred - An error occurred - cannot put .  An unknown error occurred.
    css:index.css - same - not transferred
    SpryAssets:SpryMenuBar.js - same - not transferred
    SpryAssets:SpryMenuBarHorizontal.css - same - not transferred
    SpryAssets:SpryMenuBarDown.gif - same - not transferred
    SpryAssets:SpryMenuBarRight.gif - same - not transferred
    SpryAssets:SpryMenuBarDownHover.gif - same - not transferred
    SpryAssets:SpryMenuBarRightHover.gif - same - not transferred
    SpryAssets:SpryMenuBarVertical.css - same - not transferred
    File activity incomplete. 1 file(s) or folder(s) were not completed.
    Files updated: 1
    Files skipped: 8
    Files with errors: 1
    Finished: 23/07/2010 13:30
    I am aware that files are not transferring over to the testing server but I don't understand why or how to fix the problem. I don't think the problem lies with the path from Dreamweaver to the testing server because I have been working on the page and viewing it in the testing server. It's only just started displaying the message above and not passing some of the files over. It will for example pass the index.css page over.
    I have copied the code over for index.html, SpryMenuBar.js, SpryMenuBarHorizontal.ccs and SpryMenuBarVertical.css.
    In the hope that someone will not mind taking a look at this for me.
    Below is the code for my home page in case the problem lies here

    I've only encountered two instances where the PUT operation failed on certain files. One, the server does not like the particular file type, and two, when the file was open in another program.
    Other than that, I could only guess that it may have something else to do with the web server configuration and not DW.

  • Problems with reinstallation - new operating system mac

    Back in 2009 I bought the Adobe Creative Suite 4 for mac. Installation was no problem. A few weeks ago I got a new operating system, i.e. mountain lion.
    Since the Adeobe suite didn't work properly anymore I deinstalled the whole packe and tried to reinstall it with the old licence number. Unfortunately it doesn't work anymore. What can I do? Thanks very much in advance for your help. e

    what doesn't work?  installation?  some or all the programs?
    and what error do you see?  (attach a screenshot of the error.)

  • HT201366 Problem with Mountain Lion operating system

    Hi All, Any advices appreciated.
    I recently upgraded the operating system on my Imac to the new Mountain Lion OS. I purchased this via Apple Application store. The installation went fine, but then it started stuffing up my E-mail accounts - and eventually deleted all my historical E-mails. The new OS wouldn't recognise my mail accounts or allow me to send E-mails. I tried all the online tips with regards changing mail preferences and editing ingoing and outcoming server info and passwords and changing ports utilised. I spent endless hours on phone to internet provider, only to be told in the end that it was a Mac OS problem. In utter frustration I did a System Restore and re-installed the old operating system, which also restored the lost E-mail history.
    I'm already out of pocket the $20 for Mountain Lion, but can anyone tell how you can safely install Mountain Lion so that it works with E-Mails? Has Apple released a fix for Mountain Lion?

    The problems you describe are usually resolved by reindexing the mail database after the upgrade, a procedure that takes a few minutes.

  • Problems with the OR operator

    Please can someone help? I have 2 tables which I can join as follows:
    select nlfull0604.accountid,company,entrydate from nlfull0604,live0604 where
    nlfull0604.accountid=live0604.accountid
    This returns the rows I expect, however I want to get some new Companies that might not be in live0604 but will be in nlfull0604 so I have added this:
    select nlfull0604.accountid,company,entrydate from nlfull0604,live0604 where
    nlfull0604.accountid=live0604.accountid or (entrydate > '01-JUN-04')
    The problem is I am getting thousands and thousands of rows not just the 2,000 live companies + the 50 or so new ones - probably something to do with my brackets!
    Thanks very much for your help.
    Regards
    Andrew

    Hello
    Yes I think you're going to need to use a union, try this out...
    SQL> select
      2      accountid,
      3      entrydate
      4  FROM
      5      nlfull0604
      6  WHERE
      7      entrydate > TO_DATE('30/07/2004','dd/mm/yyyy')
      8  UNION
      9  select
    10      accountid,
    11      entrydate
    12  FROM
    13      live0604;
    ACCOUNTID ENTRYDATE
             1 25/08/2004
             2 26/08/2004
             3 27/08/2004
             4 28/08/2004

            12 06/08/2004Note that in the first run account id 6 appeared twice because the entrydate in live0604 was different to the entrydate in nlfull0604 and so it was not a duplicate, after the update, it is picked up as a duplicate.
    If you have the situation where you have the same account id and 2 different entry dates in each table, you could pick the most recent(or the oldest using min) like so...
    SQL> update live0604 set entrydate=to_date('31/08/2004','dd/mm/yyyy') where accountid=6;
    1 row updated.

  • 2.1.0.62: Problem with Package.Functions and Unit Tests

    I like the new Sqldeveloper - I startet trying Unit Tests as described here: Link: [http://www.oracle.com/technology/obe/11gr2_db_prod/appdev/sqldev/sqldev_unit_test/sqldev_unit_test.htm#t4]
    It worked with a test-procedure. Now i am trying to test my package functions, but all i get is this:
    Die folgende Prozedur wurde ausgeführt.

    what can i do?

    Created
    Bug 8976245 - EA1: UNIT_TEST: INVALID CONVERSION ERROR USING INTEGER PARAMETER
    and have asked bug responder to keep you updated on status here in the forum.
    Bad news is that any INTEGER parameter for which you specify a non-null value will fail.
    Possibly helpful news is that if you create a 'clone' of you function using NUMBER as the data type, you can continue to experiment with how unit testing may be of use to you.
    Sorry no instant answer. :(
