see the attachment.

Hello Wael903,
If you have not made any progress yet, check out the first article. It will walk you through things like booting into Safe Mode, resetting the PRAM as well as verifying and repairing the hard drive if any issues are present. If all is good and you still cannot log in, then you will need to reinstall OS X Yosemite.

You realize that the OP is asking about YouTube videos and 10.10.1 system. The topic is 6 months old.
Boot into the Recovery volume (boot with the Command + R keys held down) and reinstall the system.

  • Big problems with Audio in Yosemite

I use an external sound card to record and play back audio but Yosemite won't let me switch between outputs. At first there seemed to be a problem with the internal audio outputs which would either stop altogether or disable volume control, especially when changing from internal speaker output to headphones.
Now the output options, including the soundcard, are listed in preferences but the system won't switch over to the external card - it just persists using the onboard speakers even though the external card is highlighted. I've updated the external card's drivers and ruled that out as a problem.

Hello to everyone on this thread,
I'm yet another person suffering from these audio problems, with a project months in the making at risk.
I've been in discussion with Apple though, and there might be an answer lurking out there.
To avoid duplicating thread information, please see my post 'Audio fade problems, please help' on this link:

Although there is more research to be done, you might all find this encouraging thus far.

  • Problem with OS X Yosemite - 'Update required' when opening

    Hi everyone,
I updated my 2012 Macbook Pro with OS X Yosemite and it seems the installation didn't fully complete. When I restart my computer I always fall on this grey screen, and instead of my name and picture there is a '?' with 'Mise à jour nécessaire' (Update required) where my name should be.
When I enter my password it's like if my Mac ended the download, and it finally opens normally. But this happens every time, like if there was a problem with this step and it wasn't correctly installed.
What can I do to fix my problem so my Mac opens normally without 'ending' the installation all the time?

You may start in Recovery mode and see if you can check &/or repair
the computer hard disk drive; or perhaps re-install the failed OS X?
    •OS X: About OS X Recovery - Apple Support
There also is a method to access OS X Utilities in Recovery to see if
the hard disk drive and other items are OK. Be careful since these can
also totally erase all content from a hard disk drive if Disk Utility is used
    incorrectly at that point.
    Good luck & happy computing!

  • Problem with Mac Mini Yosemite

I have a very important issue and I hope someone can help me.
Computer Desktop Mac Mini 2012 with a connected webcam with microphone.
It all works with FaceTime is that with Skype (video and / or microphone).
With calls through iPhone instead (new feature), the microphone does not work (also tried the iPhone headphones connected to the headphone port of the Mini).
May depend on what? It is not compatible with the Mini this new function not having a built-in microphone?
    Aiutoooo !!!!!! Thanks !!!

Anyone has encountered the same problem with the Mac Mini?

  • Mosaic problem with image after Yosemite

I'm using CS6 (13.0.6) on my iMac and recently upgraded to Yosemite.  I'm now getting a problem where images will suddenly either go black or get a weird mosaic/jigsaw type of look.  In the example below, the "source" images used in the mosaic were files that I had recently closed - so it isn't just a scrambled version of the correct image (if that makes sense).
Once this happens, the only fix is to close out Photoshop and start over.  Anyone else having this problem?  Any fixes?
Thanks for any help or suggestions!

Interesting…Turning off "Use Graphics Processor" returns the magnifying glass to previous Photoshop method of dragging a marquee to zoom, instead of zooming from the point of click.
So, this is February 2. You say it is Apple's problem and they are working on it, huh? It's been at least two months, apparently. It doesn't seem to be a top priority.

  • Problems with Calendar after Yosemite upgrade

I upgraded my macbook pro to Yosemite today, and I also upgraded my phone and ipad to IOS8.   Everything seemed fine afterwards except the Calendar.   My iCloud calendars aren't visible, and when I click the warning sign next to the account name, it says:
The server at cal.me.com is currently unable to handle the connection for account “*********@me.com” due to a temporary overloading or maintenance of the server. If this continues you should contact the server administrator.
You may try to connect to the server again.
I can see the calendars on iCloud on a web browser, so the information is safe.  The account name ends in me.com, but I assume that the MobileMe account just became a normal iCloud account so that shouldn't be a problem.  If I look at deleting the iCloud account from the laptop (in order to reinstate it fresh), it says that this will delete all iCloud content from my computer, which sounds a bit drastic.  So I left the account alone.
Has anyone else had this problem?  Advice much appreciated!

I am a Cisco network support engineer, I have a recommendation, before you  upgrade any device in the future. Always keep in mind to make a backup of your data, in this way if you have to reset the device to factory settings you will not lose that information. Having said that, reset the router to the fabric configuration using the back little button, remember when you do that, you are going to loose your current configuration.
Also here I leave a link for you to download the firmware rescue utility for your router:

  • Problems with iTunes and Yosemite

    Hello!
    I have a Macbook 2010; Processor 2,4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo; Memory 3 GB 1067 MHz DDR3.
Yesterday I istalled Yosemite 10.10.2 (I had Snow Leopard before) and since then a view things just won´t work...
When I want to connect to the App Store it tells me "App Store wurde beim Verwenden des Plug-Ins Lookup unerwartet beendet.". Basically it means, that it quit while using the plug-in Lookup. (whatever that means...)
And iTunes doesn´t work properly either. I can´t connect to the iTunes Store. It just keeps saying that it is connecting to it, but nothing happens....
Furthermore it is stuck at loading CD-Cover(it shouldn´t be via Internet, but from my Laptop) 5 from 272 since yesterday....
It is not my internet connection, because Firefox(with Youtube and so on) works just fine.
Has anyone got an idea? With Mac programs it shouldn´t be the firewall, should it?
    Thanks in advance!
PS: Besides....is there a way to change the color of the folders? I´m not that happy with Yosemite´s blue...even pink would be better

    You are welcome.
Do a backup. Boot to the Recovery Volume (command - R on a restart or hold down the option/alt key during a restart and select Recovery Volume). Run Disk Utility Verify/Repair and Repair Permissions until you get no errors. Then re-install the OS.

  • Problems with Parallels and Yosemite

after upgrading to yosemite windows 7 does not work any more with parallels 10. I get a message that there is no access to harddisk 0 and that no operating system is installed in this virtual machine. The windows 7 VM file then shrinks to  4MB. Any ideas? Thank's

I upgraded from Mavericks. When opening Parallels and askong  for details of the VM , I get told that the WIN 7 VM has a size of 4 MB. When trying to restore the VM with Time Machine, I find a WIN7.PVM file with 700MB. When TM copies the file, it tells me that 94GB are copied. The copying process than is stopped with an error message, that some files could not be read or written. Thus, restoring the VM with Time Machine has not worked. I then tried to restore the whole system with TM. Restoring finished successful, and the size of the VM was again 700 MB. When opening the VM via Parallels, same mess again: no access to harddrive 0 due to either no connection or user rights. Parallels tells me that the VM size is 4 MB.

  • Powerpoint problems with OS X Yosemite

When I downloaded the new OS X Yosemite, it made all of my "notes" under slides in Powerpoint for Mac show up as bunch of symbols and I do not know how to fix this. help!

SMS requires an iOS device with iOS 8.1 installed, an update that will be released on Monday. Phone calling requires your iPhone and your Mac to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network and be logged in with the same iCloud account.

  • Resolution problems with os x yosemite

i downloaded os x yosemite i can't get a good picture i can only use 1080p to small pluse it only loads a page in center and its to small, its hooked up to my tv lg 46 inch

    Hi greggg1,
I'm not sure how your Mac is connected to your TV but it sounds like a settings issue.
There are couple places to look.
OS X Yosemite: If the picture doesn’t fill the TV screen
If you connected your Mac to a TV and the images don’t fill the TV screen, try turning on Overscan.
Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Displays, then click Display.
    Click Options, then select Overscan.
OS X Yosemite: Adjust your display’s resolution
Depending on how you adjust the resolution, some apps may not fit entirely on the screen. Using a scaled resolution may affect performance.
Set the resolution for your primary display
Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Displays, then click Display.
Select Scaled, then select one of the scaled resolution options.
There may also be settings on the TV you may need to set, like zoom.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.

  • Many problems with Mail in Yosemite

    (1) When I draft an email, the Draft folder locks onto my initial title and does NOT update when I give the email a new title. If I start typing the body of the email before giving the email a title, the Draft folder locks onto a blank title.
    (2) When two sentences in an email are separated by a blank line, and I use the delete key to join them together in the same paragraph, the 2nd sentence is reduced to mouse type (very small font size).
    (3) When I send an email to a Group, the email addresses of each member are shown in the email, even though I did NOT select AND DO NOT WANT, this option.

    Hello,
I can send and receive emails fine.
Wonder if your problem relates to settings. Have you checked the setting? Could you send and receive emails before the ML upgrade?
Personally I've tried reinstalling the application, without succession. I wondering if it can't handle the memory very well and that is why I'm getting the pixels and the fact it hangs when quitting. Would have thought 6 GB of RAM would be enough to run a Mail application, surly

  • Problem with connecting to a website.  Just purchased a new iMac with Version 10.10.2 Yosemite.  Once in a while I have trouble connecting to a site.  It takes forever.  Is this an issue with Yosemite or my internet service?

I purchased this iMac in Feb. 2015.  When I try to connect to a web site using Safari or Google Chrome I usually have no problems getting connected to the site.  But maybe once a day I will try to connect and I will see the blue progress bar at the top of the screen showing it is trying to connect and then it just stops.  It may take a couple of minutes before it connects to the site.
Would this be a problem with OS X Yosemite Version 10.10.2 ?  Or would this be a problem with my internet company?
    Thank you,
    Laurie

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
