Problem with people tags in photoshop 11

Photoshop 11 I have double people icons in both my family and friends categories. I can't delete them. By double I mean one icon is slightly offset behind the other. Most of these tags also so up in my imported tag category. I would like to have just one category for family and one for friends. Need help? Thanks

Editing People tags in Photoshop Elements 11

I just converted from Photoshop Elements 10 to 11. I can't find how to edit my people tags in 11. Is there away? If so what is it?

When you double click on a people stack, you can see that there is another switcher Faces<->People on the top left corner of the grid. You may switch to Faces view > right click > Assign as profile picture. The notes you added with People tags in previous versions are not brought upon conversion., unfortunately.

Problem with display tags (not accepting inner tags)

I am using display tags which is fine but i had a problem with anchor tag and the jsp display tag.

try to copy source code from newitem.aspx to custom_newitem.aspx (in SPD you can edit custom_newitem.aspx in advanced mode and paste the code).

I have a problem with color prints from photoshop elements 12. The pictures are too light and with strange colors. I have a Canon pixma mg615I0 printer and use mac os X yosemite. The pictures are taken with a coanon eos 550d in the color space sRGB. I have followed adobes recommendations and have tried both letting the printer respektive photoshop manage the colors. But nothing works. I see that there are different opinions about which is best to do so I tried both. I have the latest printer driver installed. Can anyone help me with this?

Do the following:
Print a test page from the printer. Perhaps the print head needs cleaning via its maintenance facility.
Let the printer manage colors, not PSE
Calibrate the monitor

XSLT problem with img tag in Saxon

Hi,
Iam getting a problem with <img> tag when transforming a document using Saxon transformer. In the input XSLT I have proper closing tag for <img>, but the output of the transformation is not well formed as the closing tag for <img> does not appear. I need to feed the output to a FO object to generate a print preview, but the output is not well-formed.
Kindly help to resolve the issue.

Perhaps that is because you are generating HTML as your output? As I recall, <img> tags don't have to be closed in HTML. So try generating XML instead if you need XML.

Has anyone else encountered problems with Adobe CMM clobbering Photoshop add-in filters?

I recently tried to install Adobe CMM, as a pop-up window suggested after I installed Photoshop CS5 on a new computer, running Win7x64 Ultimate. Before trying to install CMM, my Akvis Sketch Plug-In for Photoshop worked fine. Afterwards, Akvis Sketch runs under the filters menu, but will not accept mouse clicks from my Wacom tablet. Prior to Adobe CMM, all was fine. Somehow, the frustrating attempt to use Adobe CMM broke links to Akvis Sketch.
By the way, Adobe CMM setup tried to run and vanished without a trace - no indication of success or failure. CMM doesn't show on my control panel as installed software, so I can't de-install it.
I did un-install Akvis Sketch and re-install it. No luck as a filter, nor as a stand-alone program.
Additional point of interest - a second identical software/hardware workstation continues to run Akvis Sketch just fine because we didn't try installing Adobe CMM on that machine. It certainly looks like CMM is the culprit here.
Since Akvis Sketch is broken as a stand-alone, I doubt that de-activating, uninstalling and then re-installing, re-activating Photoshop CS5 will help, but it will take a lot of time to recreate actions and re-install other add-ins, plus preferences settings.
Has anyone else encountered problems with Adobe CMM clobbering Photoshop add-in filters, and have you found a work-around?

Thanks for your response. Recent evidence points to Wacom's tablet driver, not the plug-in.
Fact #1 - another identical system with ms mouse worked fine so I swapped out the Wacom tablet and bingo, the Akvis plug-in works again.
Fact #2 - So does Amazon's Kindle for PC app, which also quit working after running the Adobe CMM setup I'd downloaded.
Suggestion - since there's a legacy for CS5 users getting the "you should download CMM" pop-up, yet no need to do this, maybe Adobe should remove the CMM download page from its website - or flag this download as unneccessary for photoshop users. All Best, Charles Pierce.

Yes, you have to have a document open or you can open a 3D file (OBJ, 3DS, DAE, LMZ, or U3D)
If you open a document and then open the 3D Panel there are a variety of create 3D options.

Problems with iterate tags

Hi everybody,
We're using OC4J 9.0.2 but we have a problem with iterate tags. The doAfterBody is ignored and so, the body is never done !
This work fine with version 9.0.3. If we compare the two generated servlets(9.0.2 & 9.0.3), the code is really different.
Is this a know bug, is it possible to solve this problem ?
Our client is still in 9.0.2 and is not ready for an upgrade.
Any idea is welcome ...

It's unlikely anyone can help you if you don't show any of your code or explain what is really happening.
Have you set breakpoints (or added print statements) in your doStartTag, doEndTag, and doAfterBody methods, and verified the return values are what they should be?

IOS 7.1 Problem with People Hearing Me

I purchsed my IPhone 5S in December 2013 and never had a problem with people hearing me talk when I called them until I downloaded IOS 7.1. My voice was very faint or you could not hear me at all. I found out through another discussion group that the update may have turned my noise cancellation to off. I checked it out and swtiched it back on and the problem went away and people coud hear me talk again.

I have found a fix for others that may experience the same issue. The root of my problem appeared to be caused by Bookmarks that were created from Dropped Pins. I use Dropped Pins to Bookmark mostly everything here in Korea because the addresses here are a bit confusing. It appears Apple has updated some Map Data (I could be wrong), and my Bookmarks from Dropped Pins had incorrect addresses. This of course is just my best guess. Bellow is what I did to fix my problem:
I went through each of my Bookmarks one at a time and clicked on them. Instead of clicking on the Car Symbol for directions, I dropped a new Pin right next to the old Bookmark. I then created a new Bookmark from the Dropped Pin and labeled it the same, but with the number 2 so I could determine old from new. After clearing Maps and selecting the new Bookmark, I could then click on the Car Symbol and it would route the directions just fine. After verifying the new Bookmark worked properly, I deleted the old Bookmark. Rinse and repeat for all of my Bookmarks, re-ordered them and now its as if I never had a problem in the first place. Tedious work, but managed to solve my problem. I hope this helps for anyone else that may have the same problem.

N95 Problem with voice tag volume

When playing a voice tag the volume is so quiet it cannot really be heard. The automatically synthesised voice recognition is so poor and even worse company names like Eyeplan or EPS are unreconisable! How can the volume be increased so at least I might then be able to mimic the voice synthesiser?
Of course when used on the move, handsfree without adequate voice recognition commands or volume control this product has a serious flaw for any business user.
I hope someone has a fix for this and soon. Can anyone offer me any advice other than to return it for a refund?

I suspected a firmware upgrade might be the only possible solution to this voice tag volume problem. Quite a shame really. For the life of me I cannot understand why the volume is not adjustable since just about everything else is.
This is a big problem for people without hearing problems let alone all those with one.
Can anyone suggest how I should encourage Nokia to address this issue and produce a firmware upgrade?
As I see it the only alternative appears to be to return the product for a refund. I would caution anyone needing to use voice tags for hands free operation to be aware of this issue before making a purchasing decision.

Acrobat 9 pro and problems with pdf made by photoshop cs4

I have encountered a problem when viewing pdfs exported from photoshop cs4 using acrobat pro 9. If I open single pdf, it's ok, but whenever I open another pdf, all text is jagged. Then if I close all pdfs and try opening the second one, it's ok again. It looks like acrobat is not able to render texts correctly in newly opened pdf when another pdf is already opened.
This happens only with pdfs exported from photoshop (file->save as->pdf). It does not really matter if the first opened pdf is from photoshop or not, all other opened pdfs from photoshop are crapy.
I tried different settings when saving pdf but the results are always the same - jagged type (it does not even look like aliased, it's completely screwed and unreadable) in second pdf. It is funny because text present as smart object from illustrator renders fine all the time. Therefor I think the problem is between photoshop export and acrobat, vectors are rendered with no problems.
I tried opening on different pc (also with acrobat 9 pro) with the same result. Systems are vista on exporting pc, the second pc is running windows7 beta. However on the third pc with windows XP and adobe reader 9 everything works fine.
Any ideas how to make this work?

Solution found for me. From Adobe Acrobat & Reader 9.1 Release Notes:
Roaming Profiles on Windows and Networked Home Directory on Macintosh
are not supported configurations for 9.0 or 9.1, however we have made
several fixes in 9.1. We are looking at the possibility of supporting
this for the next major release.
As I am working with roaming profiles, my current solution (which is no solution at all) is to wipe current and reinstall Acrobat/Reader 8. Among other things there are supposed console hacks to make the purchased Adobe software run at all in a group work environment. I will end up trying them later.

I have people who can't open my Form PDF file - they get an error message. Some of them have version 5, 6 or 7 of Acrobat.
Any suggestions? I have enabled Usage Rights in Acrobat and Saved.

you can inform your clients with a message when opening your form with an (too) old pdf reader version, to avoid problems with using the form.
put following script into the initialize event of the first page of your form!
