PROBLEM WITH PLACEMENT OF BOUGHT TUNES

When I buy tunes, alot of times, it will be listed in my library and not in my purchase music playlist. What's up?

Only tracks purchased from the iTunes Music Store will be placed automatically in the Purchased Music playlist. Are the tracks that are not included in this playlist purchased from elsewhere?

If you had already removed the device from 'Find My iPhone' in iCloud, then you jus tneed to powercycle the device in order to activate it.

If it has not been removed, then the activation lock is still active.
If the previous owner cannot remove the device from their account there is nothing you can do unless the place you purchased it from will give you a refund.

Have problems with my newly bought MSI GX740

Hey, I already have problems with my newly bought MSI GX740 from JME Data.
The computer is behaving very strangely. To begin with, and so it is extremely tough to boot windows and launch programs, many programs can not even begin to eg Internet Explorer or Norton Antivirus.
When you then turn off your computer and start it again, it starts, as usual, extremely tough right from the bios to load Windows, but then when it should go from the''windowscharge'' to the desktop screen is just black. The cursor is there, but the screen is just completely black.
I have tried to make a''recovery''from windows MSI's built-in recovery function in the BIOS. What it means is that it then reformat the c drive and then reinstall Windows and all programs that were on the computer from the very beginning. This can be very slow to install and when Windows is installed so the problem remains, however, that everything goes extremely slow, and some programs will not even start.
I have also tried to put energy saving options for maximum performance, but it did nothing.
What do you think? Is this something that can fix or is it only to send the rebound?

Well its kinda strange, but i managed to fix it.
I just started in the ''windows secure mode'' or whatever u call it in english, and then when windows started and windows popped up, wich said ''A system change has occured'' or something like that, i pressed accept and after that everything worked perfect

ZEN Xtra 40G has problems with protected content bought from MSN Mu

I bought a few albums from MSN Music. These songs are the only ones I have ever had problems with.
Basically When I am playing one of these songs and try to Fast Forward through the song I get a Playback error and the player locks up. Also If am playing one of these songs and shut off the player, when I turn it back on It says the song is playing and there is no music (It is locked up).
Also I have another issue, although it may be by design it is pretty annoying.. If I try to play these songs through media source when I have my Zen extra connected with a USB cable media source returns with. "The selected file is protected and cannot be played in media source".
Anyone else having similar issues with protected content?
I have already upgraded my firmware and driver..

I've never used WMAs, let alone those with DRM. At a guess the license probably prevents you from copying back to the PC i.e. it's a one way only transfer.
I think you need to check with the music store you bought from as to whether you can download the tracks again to your PC. This is one of the irritating things about WMA and DRM, although perhaps there are methods to back the files and the licenses up. I don't know enough about the technology, but suffice to say for the moment I'm steering clear, buying CDs, and using MP3 to encode them.

Problem with places, the map is disappear

HI everyone,
I notice today a problem with iphoto 9 (ver 8.1.2), if i go to places the map on the right is disappear, i have geotagged some photos but nothing, so I have no map inside spaces, any guess?

in the iPhoto preferences is look up places set to automatically?
When you click on the little "i" in the lower right hand corner of any of these photos does it flip over and show the location?

Activation problem with Photoshop CS (bought in 2003)

I'm using Photoshop CS (bought in 2003) and Windows 7. Since there was some problem with Windows, it has performed a recovery process. After the recovery, Photoshop requires me to activate the software thru internet which is not working. Please help. Thankyou!

The activation servers for versions CS2 and earlier have been permanently taken offline. You cannot activate these products.

Problem with burning of bought album

Yesterday I bought a full CD on I Tunes and I am not able to burn this album to a CD.

Have you checked that the songs play fully in iTunes? There is a current issue with partial downloads that could impact on your ability to burn a CD from the tracks you downloaded.
Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the corrupt tracks from your iTunes library, close and then reopen iTunes, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
While downloading select Downloads in the left-hand column and make sure Allow Simultaneous Downloads is unchecked.
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the "Report a problem" links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

CreateTextField and _height: Problem with Placement of Text Fields

I'm using createTextField to create several text fields
dynamically. I'm also using an external XML file and a style sheet
to populate the text fields.
My problem is that I'm trying to position the various text
fields on the page so that they are spaced evenly on the page
(regardless of how much content they might contain). I'm trying to
use _height of the prior text fields to place subsequent text
fields, but I'm getting very inconsistent results. When I trace the
value of _height, I get differing results, even if I don't actually
change any of the parameters. So, the question is...is there a way
for Flash to get the height of a dynamically created text field
that's populated via an exteral XML file and using CSS? I know
that's asking a lot, but I'm trying to avoid using scroll bars if
at all possible.

i assume you're using multiline textifields with a fixed
width and autoSize="left".
flash will report the correct _height of your textfields IF
you access the _height property after your htmlText has been
assigned to your textfield. ie, you're probably seeing inconsistant
results because you're not waiting until all data needed to
populate your textfield has loaded.

Fewer problems with Leopard if bought on new iMac rather than upgrade?

I bought a new iMac (my 1st Mac ever) just before Leopard came out, so I have Tiger 10.4.11 now and love it. I've had no problems whatsoever and really don't plan on upgrading to Leopard because of all the problems I keep reading about. My brother is thinking about buying an iMac but hesitates because he's heard so many problems about Leopard. Question for you guys - do the Leopard problems seem more common if you've done an upgrade from Tiger, or are the problems just as common if you buy a new iMac with Leopard installed? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Your choice - BUT remember that Millions of people have upgraded with NO problems - you only read about the very few who do have problems. Leopard is a great OS and IF you upgrade carefully (repair your disk, fix permissions, backup and have a bootable clone in case of problems) you are very unlikely to have problems and it is EASY to go back to your clone in the unlikely case that you do have any problem.

This is a "how long ago did yo stop beating your wife question" - Problems are VERY uncommon in either case. With new systems they are highly unlikely since there is no previous damage to the system and NO incompatible third party software on the system - but problems are extremely uncommon in either case
He should move ahead with his purchase IMHO.

I am having a problem of portlets rendering more than once. Or more specifically,
it appears placements are rendering more than once. Anyone have this problem.
It seems to show its ugly head switching between VIEW and EDIT mode in portlets
with Backing files. Here is the only output I get.

Hi Andrew,
I am getting this kind of problem while using PortalVisitorManager::movePlaceableInstances()
in my JPF code.
It seems that one call resutls in adding a single portlet many times (8 times).
The confusing part is that it should move a portlet instance from one location
to other location but it adds new instances...
did u get around with u'r problem, do u have some solution..
any clue.....

Problem with Place call in a script with HTTP trigger

Hi!
I'm trying to develop a sample script, associated to an application that has an HTTP trigger. I'm working with UCCX Premium 8.5.1
The trigger is working OK, but the place call output is allways "unsuccessful". The number to call and the redirect number are extensions of the same IPT platform.
Below you will find print-screen of the script. Besides, I'm attaching the .aef file.

The value in your "Call Control Group" must match the "Group ID" in your CM Telephony Call Control Group Configuration
This is from my lab system so the "AgentsLoggedIn" variable would need to contain 1 or 3. You are telling the script which CTI port group to make the call with. You have a 0 in your AgentsLoggedIn so do you have a Group ID of 0?
Your CTI group must be able to make the call so must have the correct partition/Calling Search Space

Problem with Places???

Hello,
Is there a way to " reset " Places to be empty and remove all locations.
I've tried using W_indows -> Manage My Places_ to delete the locations but a lot of photos just seem to tag themselves as being my home city (just the name) and did not appear on the list in Manage My Places.
I've tried retagging the photos with a a random address but when I then try to delete it they still appear in Places.

You can try the following but make a backup copy of your library first:
1 - open the library package like this:

if that doesn't work you can fall back on your backup copy.
OT
2 - open the "Metadata Backup" folder.
3 - move the "Places" and "GPS Tracks" folders to the Desktop.
4 - launch iPhoto and check for Places.

Download problems with album just bought at Apple Store

I just bought an album called "Pulp" from a group called "The Seasons" an extraordinary group of 4 young boys from Quebec City - my hometown! - and there were 4 songs that were not downloaded, due to problems, it says. What can you do about it?
These songs are : 1- Apples*, 2- Amy Downtown, 3-Copernicius and 4- Velvet wedding. How can you fix this?The amount of 9,99$ was taken off my credit - it was at 45,74$ and now is at 35,75$.

Your best bet is to try downloading your content again. Before you do that, you will want to use the information found in this Knowledge Base article to delete it from your library:

Open the section below for the device you are using.

Before you delete, find out if you'll be able to download the song you deleted again (it depends on where you live). To delete a song:
Launch iTunes.
From the Library pop-up menu, choose Music.
Click Songs in the navigation bar.
Click the song you want to delete.
Press the Delete key on your keyboard.
In iTunes 11, the album cover art will remain visible, but a cloud icon will appear on it to allow you to download the item again (in countries that support this).
Note: If you didn't purchase a song from the iTunes Store, you won't be able to download it again for free from iTunes in the Cloud. You might want to back it up somewhere on your computer.
Once you've done the above, then download the affected songs again:

Problem with Places in Aperture

Using OS X 10.9.2 and Aperture 3.5.1. When choosing a project in Aperture and click on places a map appears but no photos in the bottom browser. Just a blank strip of nothing. I deleted and reinstalled Aperture, but no luck.

Is the search field in the Browser cleared? If not, clear it. You should be seeing "Show All"

Problem with a Recently Bought Movie

So yesterday I decided to buy a movie on iTunes. It was running smoothly until it was about 90% done... My computer froze, and I'm not sure if the movie finished or not. Either way, it doesn't show up anywhere besides my 'Latest Purchase' in my account info. If it were simply a song, I wouldn't mind, but spending $15 to get absolutely nothing is not my cup of tea.

Presuming you mean that the movie never finished downloading, look for a folder called "Downloads" in your iTunes Music folder. If there is such a folder, look for files that would be the partial download of the movie and delete those, so that the download starts over from the beginning. Then try again using the "Check for Purchases" command under the iTunes Store menu.
If that doesn't work, contact the iTunes Store customer support department through the form at the bottom of their web page and explain the problem to them.
