Problem with plugin

Hello All,
I am using this plugin:

for validating the password entered by the user.
This is my pl/sql block
DECLARE
V_PW VARCHAR2(50);
V_USR_PWD VARCHAR2(50);
BEGIN
SELECT AUTH.DECRYPT_RAW(PASSWORD,ENCRYPT_KEY) INTO V_PW FROM USER WHERE USER_ID = :USER_ID;
V_USR_PWD := TO_CHAR(P249_CURRENT_PW); // not using ':' in the item name after watching the demo given.
IF V_PW = V_USR_PWD THEN
RETURN 'Y';
ELSE
RETURN 'N';
END IF;
END;
when I am running this page, it is always going in the else block(whether the password is correct or incorrect). I have tried running this code in Sql Command and it works fine there, I don't know where I am going wrong.
Please help me in this.

Hello Machaan,
Same problem I am facing in apex.oracle.com also.
you can try this link and enter user name as 'admin', it is showing error, but it should not, and if I change the name then also it is showing error.

User name: demo
