You may need to purge your ASO files. This can be can by
manually deleting them or force Flash to do it. TO purge them using
Flash 8 go to, Control>Delete ASO Files.
To manually delete them and if you are using a Flash version
below 8 go to the link below;

K8t Neo2 problem with resume from standby after BIOS flash

Previously while using the 3.2 BIOS and a Winchester 3200+, Both Standby and hibernation worked perfectly almost without fail. Since I flashed the BIOS to 9.3 and installed an X2 4200+ I have had a problem with resume from standby. The machine starts up OK but the 2nd processor core (cpu1) is almost maxed out and stays that way. Task manager shows total cpu load as about 45-50% (all on cpu1) but shows no running process using any cpu load, just the usual System Idle process at about 99%. The only way to get it back down to normal again seems to be to reboot. By Contrast Hibernation works fine, with no increase in cpu load after resume. I have all the latest MS patch's installed (I think!) the AMD dual core driver and the MS and AMD dual core optimizers. Any ideas what is going on?

Noticed last night that S! standby seems to work OK. Also was experimenting with a fresh windows install on a spare hard drive (checking on another problem). The fresh windows install appeared to work with S4 hibernation, so it looks like that is the answer to that problem. However the problem with high cpu load on the second core after resume from S3 suspend to RAM standby was still present. This problem is so specific and so repeatable (it does it every time without fail), that I feel there must be some very well defined reason for it. Unfortunately I have no ideas what could be wrong. Have now tried Windows re-install, latest cpu drivers, AMD dual core optimizer, MS dual core optimizer, Cool'n'quite disabled/enabled, and various others and suspend to RAM still gives the same behaviour

Windows 8.1 Problem with games from windows store.

I've got a problem with games from windows store. The installation is going well without any problems, however when I try to open it it's loading and then it turns off. The same problem happens when I try to use Games for Windows. I've use a sfc scan and
it shows some errors but unfortunately it cannot fix them. Should I share the CBS log or find the solution somewhere else? I hope you help, best regards.

According to my experience, the problem like store game app open failed probably caused by hardware driver. such as Audio and Graphic driver. So, first of all, please try to reinstall these two driver to fix this problem for test.
In addition, for SFC scan failed problem, it can be caused by many reasons, I would suggest you use another command to fix your system for test.
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
Also you can test SFC command in Windows 8.1 safe mode.
Thirdly, if problem persists, please check Event Viewer, generally speaking, it would record the app open failed events.

I protect the access to my server through the "allowedHTMLdomains.txt and allowedSWFdomains.txt feature" (amongst other things...).
We noticed that with Firefox 10.0.2 (last version) and Flash Player 11.1.102.62 (last version) our customers can't connect anymore.
In the admin console we can read things like :

If i try from the same computer with another browser, i get

I can't find any significant difference...
I didn't change anything in my configuration since the beginning, and the application was working without probleme with every version of Browser/FlashPlayer untill now.
I suppose this is a bug, from Firefox or FlashPLayer or FlashMediaServer.
Is there anyone from Adobe that could help me to solve this or "workaround" this, knowing that i must use the security features.

Ok for the timeline.
For your workaround : it was already the case : i had only domains in my allowedDomains.
I'll have to turn off this feature, and after the update of the flash player, hope that not too many people will stuck to the old flash player version...

Encountering Problems with Basic Sound Tutorial

Hello everyone,
I am encountering problems with a basic sound tutorial. I am absolutely confused as to what the problem may be because the code is so simple, and is essentially copied from the textbook. I am convinced that I have done something very silly but cannot see it.
I have attempted to run this in an appletviewer, Firefox and Internet Explorer. I have attempted to launch it from both a .class file and a .jar file. I have uninstalled and offline installed the JDK and JRE and successfully tested the new installations.
The audio file I am attempting to load and play is an .AU (Sun/Next 8-bit u-law) audio file I created in Audacity. It is located in the same folder as the AudioApplet.class file.
My sound system is defintely on, since I have listened to music all day. I have attempted running the program with Media Player closed.

I have discovered a temporary solution that works in the applet viewer. The applet will load and plays the correct music perfectly. However, using this code it is not working when I try to deploy it using a web browser (MSIE and FF)!

Having worked in the applet viewer I managed to get it working in the web browser by simply packaging my SoundApplet.class and sample.au into a .jar archive.

I've actually, been able to do the whole tutorial, but i have some issues when i try to change something in it.
What i want is for the info to persist when ever the SME desk rejects or the KO rejects and sends it to the Author Desk. Right now, everytime i go back to the Author Desk after a rejection, the fields are blank. I've tried playing with the block parameters, output and input, but it doesn't seem to work. So i'm now requesting some little help from you guys.

Nice to know that you were able to complete the tutorial and that now you are trying to do something more on it.
Ok what you are trying to do is not difficult. I will explain how you can achieve this. Follow these steps:
1) See page 29 in the doc.
2) In the picture you can see we have made the grouped parameters like First_Name_Ath_SME, Last_Name_Ath_SME,...., First_Name_SME_KO, Last_Name_SME_KO,....
3) Now select the grouped parameter First_Name_SME_KO as well as the input parameter First_Name of action Author Desk using the Ctrl key. Now click on the Add to Group button above.
4) This will add the input parameter First_Name of the Author Desk to the already grouped parameter First_Name_SME_KO. In the same way add the other input parameters of Author Desk to the corresponding grouped parameters which are ending with SME_KO.
5) Doing this will make sure that if you click the Submit button in SME Desk screen, the parameter values go to the KO Desk screen. And if you click the Reject button in SME Desk screen, the parameter values go back to the Author Desk screen.
6) Now you have to make groups for input parameters of the Author Desk and the Output Parameters of the KO Desk too.
7) Select the output parameter First_Name of action KO Desk as well as the input parameter First_Name of action Author Desk using the Ctrl key on your keyboard. Now click on Group button above. Give the name as First_Name_KO_Ath and click on Create.
8) Similarly group all the other input parameters of Author Desk with the corresponding output parameters of the KO Desk.
9) Doing this will make sure that if you click the Reject button in KO Desk, the parameter values go back to the Author screen. Do not worry about the options in the KO Reject Option callable object. As you can see on page 35, sending back to SME does not need any parameter mapping. And for sending back to Author, we have already done the parameter mapping in steps 6-8 above.
Now I have something for you. If you do not implement steps 6-9, even then you will see the input boxes filled in Author Desk screen when you reject from KO Desk to Author Desk. Can you tell me why?

Problems with Deploying the Tutorial

i've tried to develop a small web service on the Oracle Application Server. Therefor i've tested the Tutorial Developing, Deploying and Managing Web Services Using JDeveloper and Oracle Application Server (http://www.oracle.com/technology/obe/obe1013jdev/ws/wsandascontrol.htm).
But i've several problems with this tutorial...
In the tutorial is mentioned to use J2EE 1.4 JAX RPC, but with this one i cant deploy on my Application Server - only local embedded works. On the Application Server i get the message:

Another Problem occurred...
As i mentioned deploying direct to the AppServer from JDeveloper works well (for the J2EE 1.3) but only that it doest work on the Application Server. So I tried to deploy a ear/war file and check them manuell into the Application Server. But doesn't work either...

Mac Firefox has a problem with dropdown menus over a flash

I have notice a problem over the last couple of months when
using drop down menus from P7, and Quckmenu. The drop down menus
appears to clip any flash movies below them when using transparent
settings in css. The recent case the transparent settings where
apply as following: The wmode of the flash movie set to
transparent, no problem with flash covering the menu. #qm0 is my
sub container for the drop down. When commenting out the
transparent settings, no problem on the Mac. The Firefox browser is
2.0, and the Mac OS is OS 10, Flash Player 9. I am thinking this is
Adobe Flash player problem.

Problem with output from report to excel, calling the report from form 10g

Hi everyone, I'm having a problem generating a excel from a report, which is called from a form, I'm using Forms 10g. The problem is this: My report has a variable number of columns. These columns appear according to data obtained from the database, these columns are dates, In vesion 6 excel file generated shows the columns one after another starting in column A1 to column CP. I mean that the dates are correlative. But in version 10g the excel file generated shows the same report starting in column A to column T, only shows the 20 dates correlative corresponding to this columns, the rest of the dates are down the excel sheet in groups of 20 dates, it's something, the file in 6i grows across and in 10g grows down the excel sheet. The report (rdf file) is the same in 6i and 10g, I compiled the 6i version to obtain the 10g version. The excel sheet generated in 10g looks like the report was in pdf format, because PDF format, cuts the report in pages and the file grows down, if I generate the report in PDF format it has the same structure excel file in 10g has. I hope yo can help because I have days trying to solve this but I have no succes. If someone could help I could email the excel files generated in two versions. Here I put the code I use to generate the files in 6i and 10g. I have tried with DESFORMAT=SPREADSHEET in 10g but the result is the same. Thanks for your help. Greetings for all.

There are two problems with your VI. First, the basic logic of writing/appending to a file (Excel, TDMS, anything) should go something like this: Open the file, position yourself at the end of the file, then, in the loop, acquire data and write it to the file until you are finished with data acquisition. When you exit the acquire/write to file loop, then close the file. In particular, the opening and the closing of the file should not be inside the loop.
As others have pointed out, writing to Excel might not be optimal, particularly if you are acquiring data at a high rate (and would therefore be writing a lot of data). We actually use Excel in our data acquisition routine, mainly reading from a WorkSheet to get the parameters of a particular stimulus, but also writing the outcome of the response to the stimulus. As it happens, our "acquisition rate" in this example is on the order of several samples per minute, so there's no problem using Excel (we also sample 16 channels of analog data at 1 KHz -- this gets written as a binary file).
Second, if you really do want to use Excel, use the (existing) Excel file to which you want to append as the "template" argument of the New Report function. Then use the Excel Get Last Row function to position yourself at "end of file", as noted above.

Problem with playback from mac to pc?

I recently Created a peroject on a mac containing a large quantity of markers and clips, when I transfered it to my home pc I recieved a notice saying that I needed a third party program for the video to play properly. When I did play the video, its frame-rate was terrible and couldn't keep up with the audio at all. Is this just a problem with the video transfered bit rate or with the actual changing of mac to pc? please help...
transfering has worked before between the two computers and the t3i I use works also with each computer, I wonder if any effects could create this?

I've never seen that message. What exactly did it say? You're using the native media from the T3i, it hasn't been converted, it's never been inside of Final Cut Pro?

Problem with using swc files in Flash Player 10

I have two Actionscript projects in Flex. One is using Flash Player 9 the other is using 10. Both projects use the fl classes specifically FLVPlayback.
In the Flash Player 10 project I am using the recently released version 2.5. Both players use individual controls instead of a complete skin swf. So the code goes something like video_player.playPauseButton = playPauseBtn. All the swc files are imported through properties-ActionScript Build Path-Library path-add swc. This all works great in both projects exept in the Flash Player 10 project the volumeBar swc does not load properly. In the debug variables for a break point at the function below in FLVPlayback.as the variables handleLeftMargin, handleRightMargin, handleLinkageID and handleY are missing even though they are all in the original fla used to compile the swc. I have tried compiling swc in both Flash CS3 and 4. I have tried moving the Actionscript inside the fla files but nothing changes. This leads me to believe it is a bug in the Flash Player 10 or the version 10 playerglobal.swc since this part of FLVPlayback.as is identical in versions 2 and 2.5. The result is that only the volume bar renders but no handle. Debugging all through fl.video.UIManager.as handle_mc remains null?

In the Actionscript 9 project all the variables are accounted for so the volume bar and handle render and work fine.

I am opening a session from a server via the following sql
statement:-

I only get the popup window when trying it out from our
webserver?
The server is MS SQLServer
The virtualdirectory is created with access set as Windows,
and always log on set as "myusername" + "mypassword"
So I thought (hoped) I could pass the "myusername" +
"mypassword"
bits into the above sql statement (maybe appended at the
end?)
If I type the above sql statement into a browser it works
perfectly with the xml returned in a web page,
also as I state above, when I run it from within my flash
prog on my local machine it runs OK and returns the results into
the text area specified within the flash prog.
BUT - When I upload my flash prog to the webserver and try it
from there, I get a windows popup asking me for username + password
+ domainname.
any ideas please?
