Problem with printer on airport that was working 3 weeks ago.

I have an airport extreme and have connected to it an epson sp rx700. 3 weeks ago when I last used it, it was working fine. I have a macbook too which I print wirelessly through the extreme too. Yesterday I tried printing on my imac and it recognises it through airport settings but can't print. The print icon comes up and just says printing, but nothing happens. On my macbook its fine, prints normally. I've checked the driver and they are using the same drive which is version 8.37. All my mac OS updates are up to date on both computers. Does anyone know what could have happened in 3 weeks that could have caused one computer to print and the other not to? Would appreciate any help.
Have you tried deleting the printer from Print & Fax and then re-adding it?

PSE9 - problems with tags and Outlook. Was working fine Friday!
I had PSE8. Would no longer print or use Outook on Windows 7. Kept having to revert to a restore point. Purchased PSE9 and installed 2 days ago. Worked perfectly. Used my original keyword tags, printed and sent email via Outlook without a problem. Turned on the computer this moring and tried to send email and the program crashed and crashed and crashed. Also, now I have a bunch of boring keyword icons instead of the one I have chosen on all my photos. They are organized correctly but the icons are not the ones I chose which are listed in the organizer pane. There was some kind of Adobe update and this morning I had to go to a restore point in order to be able to email again. I have been having this issue for over a month now since I started using Windows 7. The only program I have had any problem with is PSE!!!!! After installing PSE9, I deleted PSE8 and things were still working fine 2 days ago. Am not happy and am sick of spending my precious time dealing with PSE on a daily basis.
I did assure that Outlook is set as my default email program before I posted this.

Pending calls, problem with distinguishing which call that was disconnect
Hi everybody,
I have an application that gets triggered by incoming calls. When the calls are rejected a menu will show up. When users have pending calls however the menu should only be triggered when the newly arrived call is disconnected not if the ongoing call was disconnected and the user switched to the new call.
If two calls are active on the phone, is it possible to distinguish which call an event belongs to?
I have not been able to find any information about which tags that comes with EVENT_EVENT_DOWNLOAD_CALL_DISCONNECTED and EVENT_EVENT_DOWNLOAD_MT_CALL. I guess that there is no TAG_ADDRESS in EVENT_EVENT_DOWNLOAD_MT_CALL right? Maybe it is possible to check that both events occurs in the same channel (?) or something?

I guess that the Transaction Identifier might be solution to my problems. It is the only field present in both MT CALL and CALL DISCONNECTED.
Do you (or someone else) know more about how this field is used? To me it seems from the info in the document like it have one value per telephone call and this is what I am looking for. For MT call it says that it "shall contain one transaction identifier" coming from the network. For call disconnected it says that it "shall contain a list of the transaction identifiers for each of the calls being disconnected". In the document it also says for this field "Coding according to specific technology". Is it always one byte?
When running in the Gemalto simulator the transaction identifier is always 00. On a mobile it doesn't work however, the MT CALL transaction identifier is there 00 and the CALL DISCONNECTED transaction identifier is 80. These value does not change when I test with more calls unfortunately.

Problem with authorising a device that was previously recognised.
Ok,I upgraded to windows 8,bought nano th geneeration,everything worked great with iTunes.Computer crashed,had to restore to factory settings and back to windows 7,downloaded all my programmes again including i tunes,now my nano is showing as it should on i tunes,it is saying that it is syncing but it is not.I check devices and it says that only my computer is authorised,how do I get i tunes to recognise my nano to allow syncing.Also,it says that I have authorised 4 computers but know that I have only authorised two,my notebook and my laptop-should I de-authorise them all and start again,advice appreciated,thanks in advance.

Yes it was extremely frustrating process to read any library books after the upgrade to Adobe Digital Editions 2.0.
Eventually it turned out that the process must have you sign out of the Kobo device Account under settings on the Kobo Device.
What we did was to remove all library books from the Kobo device and from the Adobe Digital Edition
Next was to sign out of the Kobo Device as well as the Kobo Desktop on the PC as well as exiting from Adobe Digital Edition.
Next was to start up Kobo Desktop and sign in.
Next was to connect the Kobo device to the USB port.
This resulted in the Kobo device being upgraded and Sync'd to the Kobo Desktop. Wait until the Sync is complete
Disconnect the Kobo device from the USB port
Next was to restart Adobe Digital Edition and using CTRL-SHIFT-D to deauthorize the computer and select Erase Authorization.
Next was to go back to Adobe Digital Edition, Help and Authorize Computer
Next was to reconnect the Kobo device to the USB port
Next was to select the Kobo device in the Adobe Digial Edition and Authorize the device
Next was to get a library book in the Adobe Digital Edition and then add it to the Kobo Device
Everything seems to be working from then on.

OPC server error with Lookout 5.1 that was working with Lookout 4.5
I was running a file on Lookout 4.5 with Field Point explorer 3.0 with field point objects. I recently upgraded the Lookout to 5.1 and Field Point Explorer was uninstalled. Now when I try to open my old Lookout file, I cannot control through the field point objects and I am getting the following error: OPC/OLE error. OPC server not registered properly (63). Invalid class string 800401F3.

Thanks for contacting National Instruments. There are three known reasons that you may get this error.
1. IAK file not setup or it has been moved or is missing.
This error is easy to reproduce. In order for the OPC FieldPoint Server to work, it has to launch the FieldPointOPC2.exe which has looks at a registry key for FieldPoint Explorer. In this registry key is the path to the last saved or loaded IAK file. If this file has moved or has been deleted, then you will get this error. This also happens to customers that have upgraded their FP Explorer and haven't opened up their IAK file and saved it.
2. OPCproxy is not registered. Which means the opcproxy.dll or opccomn_ps.dll are not registered or are version 1.0 (can be registered by running "regsvr32 opcprox
y.dll" and "regsvr32 opccomn_ps.dll". The opcproxy.dll and the opccomn_ps.dll are located in the system32 folder in the WINNT directory.
3.OPCserver is not registered (can be accomplished by running the .exe with a /regserver switch) . The Fieldpoint OPC server is located in the following path: [drive letter]:\Program Files\National Instruments\FieldPoint. From a DOS prompt you can manually register the EXE by going to that directory and typing FieldPointOPC2.exe /RegServer. In a dos prompt the command line looks like this (also see attached picture):
c:\cd c:\Program Files\National Instruments\FieldPoint
c:\Program Files\National Instruments\FieldPoint\FieldPointOPC2.exe /RegServer
Hope this works. If it doesn't, then I suggest that you uninstall all NI software and try to do a fresh install. This will properly ensure that all the services and servers are registered.

On the Times newspaper site I was using December 19 some of the features stopped working. Has Firefox made an update? I tried downloading Firefox 9.0 but the problems persist. At the end of the news articles is a comments section but this no longer displays in Firefox. There is a SuDoku feature in the Puzzles section which is no longer accessible by Firefox.
Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache.

I bought the company unlocked phone from apple store Canada. It was originally loaded with software 4.2 and was working fine here in SaudiArabia. Yesterday I updated with IOS 5.0.1. Now it is showing that sim is not valid. The same sim works fine in other phones.
Here's and update on my problems and here are are some screen shots of the types of problems I've been having since the v5.0.1 update. Keep in mind these are native apps and I have tried the rebuild phone crap many times, nothing helps.
This is screen shot of a what happened when I tried to use my camera one day, both the front and back cameras were all black. I had to power cycle the phone to get rid of this problem. The cameras appeared to be working correctly, I could focus and zoom but it was all black.
Here is an image of what happened when I searched for something in a map. This is after I picked the choice I wanted, the keyboard disappeared but the list didn't. I had to force close the app and restart it for this problem to go away. Who knew five bars on ATT was possible.
And finally this is the messaging app, although you would not know it. I had to return to home screen (after a long pause for it to process the button push) and return to the messaging app. This happens all the time with the messaging app and the notifications sounds drive me crazy. If i'm using the phone, say browsing the web and I get an incoming message its almost 100% of the time the messaging app will screw up. The sound will play at the wrong time or not at all, message will show up in notifications and diasapear in message app or Ill have a problem like this: -
I am having issues today with my Adobe Lightroom 5.6 today that was working fine yesterday except for te files from one of my cameras showed up on import but wouldn't download, today I'm getting the message "Lightroom cannot start because it cannot create files in the temporary file location /var/folders/jv/2bct456j0yg4ys681fxk9zq00000gn/T " don't know what has happended in 24 hrs except I did check my permissions on my main directory to ensure that I had extended permissions to all the folders contained within my main drive on my IMac running OSX 10.10
Use the trackpad to scroll, thats what it was designed for. The scroll bars automatically disappear when not being used and will appear if you scroll up or down using the trackpad.
This is a user-to-user forum and most people will post on here if they have problems. You very rarely get people posting to say there update went smooth. The fact is the vast majority of Mountain Lion users will not be experiencing any major problems with the OS, or maybe with apps which are not compatible, but thats hardly Apple's fault if developers don't update their apps. -

From apple say even a year has not passed it is not under garancy and I should pay to fix it without ans issue.

Problems with printer and network connectivity
So I've been using an HP B110a photosmart wireless e-all-in-one printer that I got with my macbook pro and at the start, everything worked perfectly in terms of wireless printing, ePrint, and AirPrint. But recently, when I try to print wirelessly, it says the printer is not connected and I also can't find it on the list of nearby printers on the 'add printer' window. I also had problems with printing via ePrint but those have cleared up (I don't know what was wrong but it's fine now). Printing with AirPrint on my iPod touch has stopped working as well because the printer doesn't show up when I search for nearby printers.
Here's what I've checked/tried so far:
All the wireless services are enabled on my printer and my mac
I've reset the printing system on my mac, printer settings to factory defaults
Restarted mac/printer/iPod
Restarted router
Reinstalled HP printing software that came with the printer
All software is up to date
Wireless printing on another windows computer does work
Setting up wireless printing using the HP install disc doesn't work
Trying to add a new printer using the HP software disc that came with the printer is unsuccessful in locating the printer as well.
Printing over USB is problem-free
When I tried restarting the printer/router, I could see the printer for just a few minutes in the 'add printer' list but then it would disappear from the list and the printer would be 'not connected' so I can't print wirelessly.

Problem with printing from Acrobat Reader XI
SInce I installed Acrobat Reader XI I have got problems with printing out pages. The text starts a bit down (2 cm) on the paper, resulting that the last part of the text on the page will be missing. And the missing part does not follow on page 2, it just don´t comes out!
It doesn´t matter what settings i click in on the print setting page in Acrobat Reader, it always gets the same result.
Does anyone know what can be the problem?No files appeared in C:\Users\Pavilion\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe PDF\Settings but they did appear in Distiller.
I tried to copied them from C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 11.0\Acrobat\Settings, but found they were already there. I copied them by adding -COPY before .joboptions in the name. Now they appeared in Printing Preferences with the -COPY added.
I tested a print from Word (using File / Print), but was not prompted for the filename or location. I checked my entire system and couldn't find the PDF file anywhere. I tried changing the Port to Desktop\*.pdf using Printer Properties, but that didn't work either.
I was able to successfully use the Acrobat menu item in Word & Excel to create a PDF but it automatically created the file on the Desktop without an option to change the filename.
After several days and hours, I gave up and installed Acrobat X on the W7 computer. I can still use Acrobat XI on the W8 computer. So be it!
