Problem with published cal:repeating event Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun every 3 weeks
I have an event that repeats thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday every three weeks. I can set it up by changing my week to start on Monday. It is correct in iCal and on me.com.
Subscribers to the calendar however see the calendar wrong. They see a repeating event every Sunday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
So for this week I see the event on 7/15, 7/16, 7/17, 7/18/10.
But subscribers see it on 7/11, 7/15, 7/16, 7/17/10. So Sunday is always wrong.
Any idea how to fix this? It used to work prior to either 10.6.4 or iOS 4 or iPhone 4 screwed up my calendars. I’ve restored them but this is the only thing still broken.

Updates do not inherently break calendars. They can uncover pre-existing data corruption in a database which is why issues can be triggered by updates. Think of an update as getting your car washed. If the car's paint is already chipped or flaking, paint is going to come off when it goes through the wash. I'm glad you had backups and were able to restore your calendars.
To try and resolve your issue:
__First make an iCal backup, File > Export > Archive.
__Un-publish the calendar.
__Export the calendar holding this recurring event as an ICS file: File > Export > Export.
__Delete the calendar in question from iCal
__Remove the following to the trash and restart your computer:
Home > Library > Caches
Home > Library > Calendars > Calendar Cache, Cache, Cache 1, 2, 3, etc. (Do not remove Sync Cache or Theme Cache)
Home > Library > Preferences > com.apple.ical (There may be more than one of these. Remove them all.)
__NOTE: Removing these files will remove any shared (CalDAV) calendars you may have access to. You will have to re-add those calendars to iCal > Preferences > Accounts.
__Once the computer is restarted, double-click the ICS you exported to re-add it.
__Re-publish the calendar
If the issue persists at this point, I would delete this recurring event and re-create it as it's entry in the iCal database may be damaged.

Try booting in Safe Mode by holding the the shift key immediately after powering on your system. Safe boot mode will for a directory check of your startup volume, then load only the required kernal extensions (kext files), and deletes some cache files. Once the system boots into Safe Mode you can simply restart the system to see whether the issue has been resolved.
If you still have the issue try resetting the SMC by shutting down the system and disconnecting the power cord for ~15 seconds, then reconnecting the power cord. Next, reset the parameter RAM (PRAM) by holding down the option-option-P-R keys after powering ON the system. Wait until the iMac restarts twice, then let the system boot normally. -
I am having problems with my macbook pro and the dock. About every fourth time I start the computer, the dock flashes on and off, then goes completely off and all I get is the spinning ball with brief moments of the cursor. But the computer locks up.
Do you have Parallels installed by any chance? There is a known problem that causes symptoms similar to this. You do not need to actually be running Parallels at the time and nothing in ActivityMonitor would point to Parallels. An update corrects the problem:

Problems with publishing on Flash CS6
I just started having problems with my Flash CS6 program. Any thing I have designed in the last two days I publish but the html file will not run the flash. I know that my flash on my laptop recently updated but the html file will not open and run on our desk top either or a friend's computer. Any suggestions. I have designed an action script only file, a flash and action script file and a straight flash file and none of them will work. The files I designed prior to this week still work.
click file>publish settings>html>template>flash only.

Problems with publishing to Business Catalyst
Hi!
I am suddenly experiencing issues with publishing my Muse site to Business Catalyst. This worked fine just earlier today, and I have never had any problems with it before. But now I just get either the following error: "Unknown Adobe Business Catalyst error has occured. Status: 0, 0." or a window where the OK button for publishing is grey. See screenshots below.
What is wrong? I tried deactivating and quit, and then log in again, but that didn't help.I have the same problem. Please, can anyone help us? Adobe guys, don´t you have a solution for this?

A problem with publish service icon
I have a problem with a LR plugin I'm working on.
My plugin is a common publish service. The code is VERY similar to the flickr plugin.
My problem is with publish service icon. No matter what do I do, the icon is missing (in LR). I have set the publishServiceProvider.small_icon property to the name of my icon file. The file is present in the same folder, as the rest of the plugin files.
At first, I thought that perhaps something is wrong with the image. But when I tried to use the same icon for the flickr plugin, everything was ok. So the image is in correct format.
What can be the cause of my problem?
BTW, I use LR 3.2 and 3.3, if it's important.

but I was suggested to try on this forum.)I've never *noticed* a problem with icon resources, not that I would have, but I have noticed the problem with other plugin files, on Mac. Its almost as if Lightroom takes a snapshot of what's there then ignores new stuff when you reload the plugin.
e.g. ExifMeta re-writes the metadata definition module. On Windows, simply reloading the plugin incorporates the newly re-written module, whereas on Mac, Lightroom must be restarted for it to be incorporated. Perhaps these issues are related. -
Problem with TrayIcon and mouse events

I am trying to listen for a mouseEntered event on a TrayIcon.

yes, but i didnt find anything related to my problem.Really, I found posted examples of using a MouseListener.
Does your code work for other events or is the problem only related to mouseEntered() events (which may not be supported, I don't know since I don't have the proper API to use TrayIcons)?
If you need further help then you need to create a [Short, Self Contained, Compilable and Executable, Example Program (SSCCE)|http://homepage1.nifty.com/algafield/sscce.html], that demonstrates the incorrect behaviour.
Then maybe others can test your code or see something else wrong. -

Problems with itunes videos playing on NVidia Graphics/SATA controllers FIX
Hi folks just wanted to let you know there is a hotfix for all you folks that have a Vista Computer that has Nvidia Graphics cards GEFORCE series, and Nvidia SATA Drive Controllers.... Go to this website and do al the hoit fixes listed there... http://www.nvidia.com/object/windowsvistahotfixes.html
This will update the firmware for your graphics card and some vista incompatibility issues. Not all of the hotfixes may apply to your system however try downloading all four and it will tell you if it applies to your system or not after you try to install them. After that go to your Control panel and go to device manager and go to your storage card section.. Click on the Nvidia SATA controller device click on the driver section and click on update driver... this will bring up a screen that asks you to have the computer search for the correct driver "click it". It will search the internet for you and download the NEW SATA driver you will have to restart after downloading. THEN go back into the control panel again and make sure the driver is updated to 7/2007 if not reapeat the update driver part. It will then pull the information from your hard drive and the driver will be installed. It takes like 4 seconds to do this... then restart your system and all the problems have been fixed... this works with quicktime in itunes video problems as well as the kodak camera video problems.. I hope this helps it worked great for me..... Good Luck...I've experienced a similar problem with my mid-2010 MBP freezing when on battery power. I've traced the problem to gfxCardStatus switching the GPU to the Intel HD when there are still dependencies for the NVIDIA 330. I stopped using the application and seems to have solved the problem.
I agree that the problem is prevelant on Lion and didn't occur in Snow Leopard. Your advice to turn off the AGS feature in Energy Saver is a smart one, at least until engineering at Apple resolves this problem, since both gfxCardStatus and AGS are doing the same graphics card switching without reference to actual need of the running apps. -
Problem with JScrollPane and Mouse Event in JDK 1.4
The folowing code works fine with JDK 1.3. But not with JDK 1.4. It has got a JPanel(main panel) which hosts JScrollPane which hosts another JPanel (drawing Panel). If I remove(do not add) JScrollPane to the main Panel and ad drawing panel directly to the main panel, it works.

Problem with publishing in cs5
Hi, we seem to be expiriencing the following issues with cs5 trial version.
The problem:
After making changes to a perfectly working fla it won't publish correctly,
meaning:
1. When previewing all the components jump (as usually happens when there is
a compile error) but no error is displayed in the log.
In this case when used with the whole project, the project doesn't load,
even though the corrupted fla is not the first loaded (non of the fla loads
besides the preloader).
2. When previewing and running with the whole project the labels on the
button components disappear, but only the ones that are dynamically changed
by an external as file.
*there are other similar bugs as well like unable to enter the table in the
game etc.
The changes I make before it happens:
- changing the size of a shape inside a movie clip.
- changing the size of a movie clip.
- changing anything in an already existing code (like changing the size of a
font).
- adding new basic code anywhere (like trace code).
- changing button skins.
Basically, any change I make corrupts the file but not consistently,
meaning,
I can make the same change twice and the file will break only one of the
times, or, I can make several changes until it breaks.
It also happens on every computer but also, not consistently, I can work for
a while, making the same change, deleting, making the change again etc, only
on the fifth or sixth time the file will break. On a different computer it
can take only two or three times.
The corrupted file start working again after I change the name of the folder
containing my project or move all the files to a different folder anywhere
on my computer. After a short while the file crushes again.
p.s, i used the latest cs5 updates and that did not solve the problem.

David.Seems you have encountered a weird problem. I have been using CS 5 for quite sometime now without any such issues.
Would it be possible for you to share an example fla that is causing the problem.
It would be great if you could provide a copy of the fla that gets published ( before making changes)
and a copy of the fla that is broken ( after making changes)
If it is possible for you to provide the fla then probaby I could help you out in finding the issue.
