Problem with Push Notifications from Facebook - MacAir

I don't get notification from Facebook and Twitter. It was working as well and suddenly stopped.

Open System Preferences > Internet Accounts
Select Facebook on the left then click -
Then click + to re add your Facebook account.
If push notifications work, then do the same for Twitter.
Make sure: Enable This Account is selected for both Facebook and Twitter.

Since I installed Mavericks, I'm not getting push notification from Facebook on any device (iPhone, mac, iPad etc). Also I can't used any of the quick post buttons in notification center. I tried deleting and adding all the accounts again. nothing worked.

Why am i not recieving push notifications from facebook

I have an iphone 4s updated to IOS 6 and recently i have not been receiving push notifications from facebook. Before this my push notifications from facebook were working fine and for the past two days they have not been working. I have tried everything and also tried a full restore on the phone. I have deleted the facebook app and added it back. All my notifications are turned on with the notification center. Please help...

I own a 5C and spent hours on the phone to tech support who also contacted Apple but they say it's a Facebook issue and was told to contact them direct.
Facebook do not respond to individuals so I'm concerned that we are not going to get a solution. Apple don't seem bothered!
I switched from android recently and never had this problem......strange!

Problem with Push Notifications after change from 3GS to 4S

After I changed from my 3GS to my 4S I have a Problem with the Push Notifications.
I only receive them on my old device, not on my new 4S.
They both have different Phone Numbers, and i set the 4S up with a Backup from the 3GS.
How can I fix this problem?

I have the same phone, and have just had it replaced with an identical model and am having the same issue. I am going to go through Apple Care again and see what seems to be the problem. I never had any push issues with my 3G, except at the initial launch.

HT3576 Problem with Push Notifications messages

When I open many of my applications on my ipad I get a box that says "Connect to iTunes to Use Push Notifications. Usually it disappears after I click it, but it have blocked my use of dropbox because I can't get it to go away and I can't access my files on my ipad. I have deleted and redownloaded Dropbox 3 times to try to clear this up.

I would start with signing out of all services that require signing into your Apple ID and then signing back in. Be sure to test the results after processing these steps.

If you are still experiencing the issue, backup your device via either iCloud or iTunes and restore the device. Once this is done, restore from you backup to retrieve your data.

Problem with push notifications

Hi,
I have an iphone 3GS 16GB and I have prolems with the push notifications with app like whatsapp or ping. Sometimes it works, sometimes don't and I don't know the reason.
Now to see if I have new messages I have to open the application instead of notify me the iphone with a tone.
Could someone help me?

HT201407 My face time and imessage will not activate despite good network and several days of waiting for both to activate. Moreover, I am having problem with push notifications even though i have connected my device to itunes as it suggested.

Hello . I don't know what to do anymore. I am having problem with push and notification. I have to go into the apple mail app to see my email. This is crazy. Is anyone out there with the same issues?

If it's happening on all apps that you've downloaded, but not on the Apple built-in apps, then try downloading any free app as that appears to reset something - you can then re-try your apps, and you can delete the free app.
If it's only happening on one or two apps then try closing them completely : from the home screen (i.e. not with any of the affected apps 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the apps to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Editing logging details for notifications from Facebook

Does anyone know if it's possible to change/edit the logging details for the notification from Facebook (well in fact for that matter for anything else too).
When I logged them in for the first time I didn't realise I was logged in on facebook with wife's page and now I seem to be getting her notifications instead of mine.

Suddenly I am unable to open a web page from a link in an email (eg notification from facebook) - usually have to unistall and then re-install but this is a nu

without any changes i am aware of, firefox suddenly stops opening from links in emails (thunderbird).
e.g. notifications from facebook.
Usually when this occurs I un-install and then re-install firefox and that fixes the problem but of course it interrupts what I'm doing and takes time. Is there a known cause and fix for this failure to open?

How to get email notifications from facebook to open in the app and not in interent browser

I receive email notifications from facebook when someone posts to my wall or share something with me and when I click the link to open it, it goes to my internet browser instead of opening the facebook app. How do I fix this so the facebook app open automatically?

I just started a project to use AutoCAD files and Adobe.
For starters, I've been creating in AutoCAD LT 2015, then using the "Export" to PDF feature, then opening the pdf version in Adobe.

For what it's worth, you posted this in 2011, and here in 2014 I am still having this same issue. Over the last two days, I have had to unlock my apple account 8 times. I didn't get any new devices. I haven't initiated a password reset. I didn't forget my password. I set up two factor authentication and have been able to do the unlocking with the key and using a code sent to one of my devices.
That all works.
It's this having to unlock my account every time I go to use any of my devices. And I have many: iMac, iPad, iPad2, iPad mini, iPhone 5s, iPod touch (daughter), and my old iPhone 4 being used as an ipod touch now. They are all synced, and all was working just fine.
I have initiated an incident with Apple (again) but I know they are just going to suggest I change my Apple ID. It's a simple one, and one that I am sure others think is theirs. I don't want to change it. I shouldn't have to. Apple should be able to tell me who is trying to use it, or at least from where.

Problems with the notification centre

hello, can anyone tell me why i don't receive notification from Facebook in my notification center? i can only post from my notificatin barr to facebook but i don't receive notofications.

Facebook integration will occur this fall with the next OSx update.
