There is no such thing as a 'Thunderbird email account'. Thunderbird is an email client, and you use it to retrieve mail from an account you created with your email provider. -
I didn't receive email to reset password Apple ID

I live in Vietnam, now I'm having problem with my Apple ID. I hope you help me solve this problem.
I have an Apple ID but I forget password to sign in.
I used link: https://iforgot.apple.com/password/verify/appleid?returnURL=https://appleid.appl e.com&app_id=93&language=US-EN to reset password. Due I didn't remember answer security question and have to choose authentication method is "Email authentication".
Have notification that "Email has been sent". Although I checked inbox, spam box but I can't see any mail for link to reset password.
I ensure that type correct Apple ID and email authentication.

Problems with receiving emails
I just got this phone for Christmas and set up both email accounts on my phone. Up until now, I've been receiving my emails just fine on my phone and they've always loaded right, notified me, etc. Yesterday, I got an email in both inboxes (on my phone) stating basically thank you for setting up your email accounts...you'll start receiving messages in 20 minutes (the same email I had gotten when I had first set up the email accounts on my phone). Since then, I have not been getting any more emails on my phone even though when I check my email on my computer, there are new messages. I tried deleting both accounts and setting them up again but that didn't solve the problem. Any reason why it's doing this and what should I do?

I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB):
1) Register HRT
Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > (it does not matter which line is current) > Register Now
2) Resend Service Books
KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
3) Batt Pull Reboot
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should contact your carrier for formal assistance and support.

Problems with receiving emails in 4 out of 5 emails accounts
I have the following issue:
I am using the BB Pearl 8100 and want to receive mails from 5 different mail accounts (all from different providers).
The situation is the following:
From 1 account, I can receive all mails and send mails from my BB. (which is fine)
From 4 other accounts, I can also send mails from my BB, but none of them receives incoming mails!
Any ideas what might be wrong?
Help would be highly appreciated since neither my Swiss provider (SWISSCOM) nor my different mail-providers seem to know where the problem is.Make sure you have LEAVE MAIL ON SERVER checked on you PCs email client.
Also, make sure you have the correct incoming server specified.
Did you get an activation message on all those accounts?
You can also resend the service books and also do a battery pull.

I have two Iphones 5 with different email addresses sharing one Apple ID account.Both are using IOS 8.
I would like to set up a new Apple Id for one of the phones and remove it from the old account.
If I do that, can I move all of the purchased apps and songs to the new Apple account?
Also, will sharing one Apple ID account with two devices cause problems with using messaging and FaceTime?Sharing an iCloud account between two devices can be done without causing issues with iMessage and FaceTime, just go into Settings for each of these functions and designate separate points of contact (i.e. phone number only, or phone number and unique email address). While that works, you'll then face the problem where a phone call to one iPhone will ring both if on the same Wi-Fi network -- but again, that can be avoided by changing each phone's settings.
Rather than do all that, don't fight it -- use separate IDs for iCloud. You can still use a common ID for iTunes purchases (the ID for purchases and iCloud do not have to be the same) or you can use Family Sharing to share purchases from a primary Apple account. -
I receive a pop-up from ICal saying the server does not recognize my user name and password for my me.com email address. This started yesterday and occurs about every 5 minutes or so. There are no problems with receiving or sending email through Mail. I did change me email password several days ago but have no problems sending/receiving since then.
I fixed the problem. I opened Preferences in ICal and entered my new password. No more pop-ups

I spend good money for my iPhone i have the iPhone 5 with the new charger slot which is smaller. I have been through at least 3 charging cords and this is not acceptable to me. i never had a problem with this on my older phone. apple needs to correct this and reimburse me for this cord.
Charging cords are covered by the iPhone warranty or their own warranty
if puchased separately. Take your iPhone and the cords to your local
Apple store for evaluation and possible replacement. -

I'm having problems with my email account. I receive emails when I'm in a wifi zone. But if the wifi is turned off and i'm not in a zone I don't receive my emails through the cellular network. Only when I power off the phone and turn it back on, do I receive the emails through the cellualr network (again with the wifi off)
In your email settings on the phone check to make sure it is set to receive emails on cellular network. It's a feature you can turn off so your phone isn't constantly updating emails on the cell network, but if you are usually in a place with wifi and aren't concerned about going over your data allowance, you can turn it back on.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

I'm having problems with excessive email usage on my iphone 4/ios 7. Just noticed that it (settings/usage) was using 900+ mb. I deleted all my mail, deleted the mail account, turned the phone off and back on, downloaded any remaining mail on the server to Outlook on my computer, and it still says it's using 661 mb. My ipad uses a fraction of that.
Background: I recently (December) bought an ipad and set up icloud for contacts and calendar, but NOT mail. My email provider is Verizon. I use computer, iphone, and ipad to check my email; eventually I download it from the server using Outlook on the computer and then delete any remaining emails from the phone and ipad. I can't find info on this problem anywhere.Howdy there COUGAR444,
It sounds like your iPad all of a sudden seems to be restarting out of no where. If you haven't called AppleCare yet, I would start with quitting either the app that seems to be causing the issue, or all the apps if a single doesn't seem to be the culprit.
iOS: Force an app to close
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that restart the device and test the issue again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
If the issue persists, backup your device to iTunes, then restore it as new and verify that it works.
How to erase your iOS device and then set it up as a new device or restore it from backups
If it does, then restore your backup to either verify it still works and the software just needed reinstalled, or isolate the issue to the backup file itself.

I have a problem regarding my email accounts using imail. My problems arose not long after I configured my iphone 5 for email, now my private email accounts won't allow me to send emails, although I can receive them. The problem appears to be with my smtp "cannot find server"??? When I delete the accounts and try to set them up from scratch it doesn't make any difference, the same message still applies. This is really frustrating and to add insult to injury I can set up my email acocunts using MS Outlook they work OK....really really frustrating...can anyone help me please, my business is loosing money!!!!

Thanks for your help..Yes, this is a constant problem for me as well. I have 2 Macs (iMac and old MacBook Pro) running Yosemite. I seem to only get this message on the iMac. I've tried logging out of ICloud on both and logging back in; the problem re-appears randomly. I also have no issue on IOS devices.
It's mainly annoying. I open the iCloud panel in System Preferences and it tends to go away.
