Problem with registering/activation

Hi!
I ordered Photoshop Elements as the retail version with a box and disc (like putting those things on my shelf ) and installed it a couple of hours ago. As asked too, I created an Adobe ID (using right now) and registered Photoshop Elements in my account by enetering the product id.
The ID from the box was recognized and I was thanked for purchasing PE 12 and that it would take about 30 minutes to update my account.
Now about 3 to 4 hours later under my account it still says that have no products registered and and when I try to run PE and log in with my Adobe ID it still tells me, that my product ID couldn't be verified.
A few hours don't matter, but I really would like to get some work done with PE over the weekend, so I'd be happy if someone could have a look into this.

Hmm, almost a day passed and I still can't use PE on my computer. Here is an image from my account where I tried again to register the product by entering the serial number. As you can see it is recognized and it says, that updating my account for it should take about 30 minutes. Again, that is what it said about 20 hours ago already.
Of course entering it in PE directly also doesn't help and after almost a full day I still can't use a product I paid for. I tells me to contact the support, but when I click on the support button I am not redireted to a website where I can open a ticket or contact someone who immediately looks into this (what I would expect) but I only get to a knowledge base. After looking around a little more, I found a support chat, but this is not available over the weekend. Seriously, from a company like Adobe I expect a 24h support at least for activation issues so that people can use the products they paid a lot of money for. If this crazy DRM doesn't work properly, it shouldn't backfire on the honest customers who paid for the product.
Anyway, so far this is the worst experince I ever had with a software I purchased, but I still would like PE a try, so I would be happy if someone could make sure that I can use it before the weekend is over. If I can't I probably will send it back tomorrow and ask for a refund. Oh, and it was a brand new and sealed box I got from Amazon directly, so no pirated version for sure.

    I purchased 10 copies of Office.  5 would not activate.  I took the software back to the local as suggested by customer service, but was denied an exchange.

    Using the email address you registered with the forum, I was only able to locate eight copies of Microsoft Office, and couldn’t locate any copies of the Adobe Photoshop Elements. That being said, I was able to see that some of the codes did fail to process through the activation process. I would be happy to look into getting these activated for you.

  • Problem with the active version of the transfer rule ABAP program with sour

    Hi,
    I have a problem with the active version of the transfer rule ABAP program with source system EXCEL. 
    The system does not react to changes done in the transfer rule coding. For FISCPER I have hardcoded the result 'BABABA' and still the results delivered are those from the CSV.
    Resetting the system buffers does not help. The problem is systematic in combination with source system EXCEL (i.e. not only 1 InfoSource).  Checking the active program Extras->Display Program shows the coding (result='BABABA') being there, but
    as stated, the system does not produce the result BABABA, but instead the result of the CSV.
    It seems as if the original version from the very first activation of the transfer rule program remains somewhere and continues to be used.  Does anybody know how to flush it out and get the system to actually use the coding appearing as the active program.
    I have posted an OSS note, but SAP takes it time to answer and I am under time pressure so I figured that maybe one of you know who to solve it before SAP does.

    I'm having real problems with IMessage activation same with FaceTime, the phone shows the activation is being made but it does not activate!
    Apple ID and password is OK, it's working with other applications
    Any ideas guys?!

    My daughters had the same problem with both of their iPod Touches.  One logged back into iMessage and FaceTime, the other consistently would not login with the same error, "An error occurred during activation.  Try again." 
    Check your date and time.  Its likely incorrect.  Once the date is corrected.  Restart the device. 
    For what ever reason, some devices lose track of the date.  In my case, apparently, my daughters change the date to affect a particular game by advancing the date.  Little cheaters. (LOL)

  • Problem with SSL Activated on SSO Login

    Hi Guys,
    One of my applications has recently hit a few problems when SSL was activated on several environments. My application requires you to login using a SSO username and password before you can use the application. Before SSL was implemented, when you pressed the main menu button the page would redirect to the login server and the SSO login would remember your details and log you in again and then take you to the 1st page with a new session id. However, with SSL implemented, when the main menu button is pressed it redirects you to the login server but this time it asks you to enter your username and password. This is a problem as every time authentication is required on my application, it will keep telling you to login even if you have already done so before.
    For extra information, the main menu button (which is a navigation bar entry) redirects you to a piece of javascript which is used to take you back to the 1st page depending on what page you are on.
    I am also using the latest version of APEX.
    Any help is much appreciated as I am not sure where to go with this problem.
    Also is it a problem with the SSL setup or my application?

    I have tried to pass the cookie through the URL to the login server but this does nothing.I can't imagine what you mean by that or what exactly you did.
    it just takes me to the login page and resets the session id after i have logged in again!What do you mean by "reset"?
    How can I make cookies be accepted by SSL?Have you constructed an experiment to prove that this is the problem?
    Is there something i can put in the application itself?Definitely not.

    The Activation of BW content in transaction solman_workcenter - Test
    Management - Settings - BI Reporting Settings the message appears:
    "Test Workbench Reporting - BI Content not active", after pressing save:"Settings of Test Workbench Reporting saved"
    and
    "Activation of BI Content for Test Workbench Reporting started".
    In test evaluation the button Status report doesnt show. After repeated
    activation appears the same message as in beginning: Test Workbench
    Reporting - BI Content not active.

    Could you please provide me with details on how to setup test workbench reporting. I have a BW system external to Solution Manager. I have setup the RFC conncections and all is okay. I have also setup the source system in BW and installed the web templates. However, when activating the content via solman_workcenter - test management - settings, I get the following error:

    I need to extract Open Items in BW. I use the extractor 0FC_OP_01 which extract the content of table DFKKOPBW in OLTP. Open Items are written in table DFKKOPBW by the mass activity FPBW.
    I have a problem with this mass activity : the field "Business partner number" stay empty in table DFKKOPBW after the execution of FPBW, whereas it's not empty in table DFKKOP... (and for the cleared items it works...)
    Does anybody have a solution for my problem?

  • View for active Incidents related to WI (Problem) with status (Active) works but can't be changed.

    Hi,
    I wanted to create a view of Incidents which are linked to a Problem (any problem).
    I did a quick test using the Incident (advanced) class, selected to display Incidents with status Active and [Work Item] Is Related To Work Item and status for Problem with the status Active.
    At this first test I didn't bother to select any specific columns to display but just went with the pre-selected ( Description, Display Name, Display Name) and it worked. 
    I got a list of expected Incidents in the view but having the Description column made it quite useless.
    So, when I try to select the columns I find useful it will not update and it returns a No items found message instead.

    It is of course possible to group by one of the Display Name fields and collapse to get a more workable view but it still lacks a lot of good information. One would like to include ID, title, Created date,
    date modified, Display Name for Affected User and Assigned to user, and a few others.
    I was just a bit stumped as to why this fails when changing the columns on a view that obviously is possible to create.

    the free edition), since it has much more robust criteria and column editing capabilities. 

  • Problem with CS4 activation using student users

    Hi,
    I am working at a school and over the last few weeks we have rebuilt our network from a 2003/xp to 2008R2/Win7 network so have had to remake a lot of software packages. We have created and deployed CS4 with success across the network but seem to have an activation problem with a specific user type.
    This user  type is with student accounts which use a seperate group policy to the staff accounts. When students log in and the PC has not had any CS4 programs started before, it comes up with the activation window prompting to start a trial (does not work) or activate with a serial number (also does not work), which should not happen as the serial is built into the deployment. When staff log in and run the software it works fine and activates with no problem. So this is not an activation issue, more of a technical issue.
    This is causing a problem as for us to activate all of the CS4 software we have to log onto each pc as a staff member, open Photoshop (or another CS4 program), close it then log in as the student for it to work. (This is only needed once per PC, but is time consuming with over 400 computers.)
    The only main difference between the staff and student accounts are that students use mandatory profiles (with roaming appdata) and staff use fully roaming profiles. There are other policies in place for students but none that I can see would stop the activation process from working.
    So my question is, does anyone know what could be stopping this activation from working?

  • EPrint problems with registering and trying to sign in

    I have a HP Photosmart 6510 printer. I have installed the disk that came with it onto my desktop and also my laptop. I also installed the apps that were recommended on my iPad3 and iPhone4S. I believe that I have done everything correctly and I registered my printer with HP and open an account with ePrint.  Here lies the problem, when I try to sign into ePrint it will not do anything. I have tried clicking on the sign in button on all 4 units and nothing. So now I go to the internet and try using the HP web site to get to ePrint which I can. I try to sign in there and I get an error message telling me that my password is incorrect. It tells me to enter my correct password or if I have forgotten my password to click here and it will send password to email that was used to  open account. So I try to have password sent. When I enter my email address and hit submit it tells me to use the email address that was used to set up account. I have checked over and over again and the email address is correct. I can sign into my HP account without a problem, I can't get into ePrint. So I figure I will try as if I did not have an account in ePrint. I enter my name, email address and password and it tells me that the email address is not available as it is in use, no kidding, it is mine, but it will not permit me to sign in. It seems like there is a problem with the software for this program. Any ideas. I really like the print jobs that come off this printer.  I have no problem printing within my home, but when I go out, that is where the problems start. I was able to send a picture to printer and I received an email telling me to go to ePrint to check on the status, well here we go again, I can't get sign into ePrint. I can't even find on HP website where I can go to get help. Please help

    It may be that you have a SnapFish.com account. Alot of long time customers of HP have SnapFish.com accounts and do not realize it. One of the printer software releases signed customers up automatically, and most people did not know, or forgot, because they never used it. Try going to SnapFish.com and using the forgot password link at the log in screen there. Once you have the password reset, go to ePrintCenter.com and use the SnapFish.com log in information to log in. If that does not help you may need to contact SnapFish.com directly to have them delete the account, or use a different email to register with.
