Problem with renewing my online number

Greetings
I have tried twice in the past week to renew my online number, and on both occasions skype has refunded my payment 2-3 days later. There is no explanation for the cancellation, I just receive an automated email which appears as if I have requested the refund, as it contains this line: 
"You'll no longer be able to use the service you requested the refund for."
I do not understand why skype keeps refunding my payment and cancelling my subscription for this product ... has anybody else experienced this before?

Firefox is completely free software. There is never any subscription fee or other charge from Mozilla.
What exactly is prompting you for payment?

  • Is anyone else having problems with the Canon Online Store?

    In the last month or so, I've had one problem after another with the Canon Online Store; from being unable to delete items from the shopping cart; to not being able to add "in stock" items; disappearing Wish Lists; and just now, I tried to add one lens cap to the 6 or 7 items I already had in the Shopping Cart, and they disappeared.
    I've called, more than once, and I've written, also more than once, to Canon Support about this, but they ignore what I tell them, and tell me there are no problems with the Online Store.  They don't even seem to report to anyone that anyone has complained, because each time is "the first time", even though I've called (more than once) and written (more than once) to them about continuing Online Stores problems.
    Is anyone else having problems with the Canon Online Store?
    Why does Canon not care to track reported problems with the storefront part of their web-site? 
    I'm not trying to insult Canon, it's just that I've been a Canon customer for less than 3 months, and the're only batting .333, so far.  Canon Support was very quick to respond about a concern I had that a 50mm f/1.4 I had just purchased was authentic or not.  In trying to register that lens, I looked up on the Canon web site where to find the serial number.  Since my new lens did not have any numbers there, I was concerned I had been sold a fake.  But, then Canon Support sent me link to a different online document that showed a few different places where it might be, and there it was. 
    Is Canon like that with other problems, as well?  Or is their "batting" average better than my very limited experience? 
    I just love my Rebel T5i, and my Canon lenses (from "the Kit brothers of the Cropped Frame coral":  EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM, and EF-S 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM; to the "Truly Nifty Fifty", the 50mm f/1.4 USM, [the f/1.8 is just a "thrifty fifty"], and finally, the "Super-Macro" MP-E 65mm f/2.8 1x-5x Macro)!

    Hi Danny.  Thanks for replying.
    I only use my desktop PC to access Canon's web site, and I've been using Mozilla Firefox for years.  And, yes, it is the latest version.  Since Canon REFUSES to support the use of Firefox on it's web site, WHAT BROWSER DOES CANON SUPPORT?  WHEN did Canon STOP SUPPORTING Firefox?
    I've been told that there are 2 pending orders in my account.  Yet, I NEVER placed those orders!  WHY CAN'T CANON SEE THAT THIS IS A PROBLEM??? 
    Instead of off-target suggestions, and pasted boilerplate REFUSALS TO EVEN LOOK at this issue, I would prefer it if Canon went "old school", and FIXED THE PROBLEM, in the first place!  But, maybe that's a bit too grown up of an answer for you! 
    "Award-winning" support???   And, just exactly WHAT AWARD did Canon "support" WIN for CONSISTANTLY IGNORING REPORTED PROBLEMS???  The OSTRICH?
    Please pull your head out, and FIX this problem, OR YOU ARE THE PROBLEM!!!

    Regarding your subscription, since Unlimited US & Canada is offered only to US and Canada customers(located in these 2 countries) I'm afraid you can't purchase it right now.
    You probably have only Unlimited US listed here:http://www.skype.com/go/subscriptions
    Alternative is to use Skype Credit until you get back.
    Tip: When you get back to US I'd recommend purchasing subscription with Skype Credit, then it will be extended automatically and no matter where you can add Skype Credit to your account.

  • Problem with renewal

    Just sharing with the forum my renewal problem.
    I was online on Friday 2/21 the the website offered me current bundle for $104.99 to renew for 2 years., but my confirmation email shows $119.99.
    Since I did not take a screen shot and the confirmation email is wrong, I am having a hard time to convince them.
    I have gone through chat and several "retention" people.  I got 1 or 2 call backs.  But still an open issue for me.  I did end up opening a call with my local BBB and I finally got an "executive resolution" type person that gave me his name and number that I can call back for follow up.  Sad that I had to lodge a BBB entry to get a person with a name/phone for follow up....  Looks like this is a system wide problem on their website.

    You shouldn't lose any iCloud data.  They only suspend some of the services (such as email).

    I've tried to order an online number. About 1 hour later I received the message "Unfortunately, we can't set up an Online Number for you in Germany." Since my paypall account has already been charged and the amount has not been yet refunden I dont know what to do in the next step. Is there any hotline I can adress to?

  • Problem with importing a large number of images to Lightroom?

    I'm trying to import a large number of images from disk to Lightroom. If I select more that approximately 1500 images (1250 works fine), I get an error message saying "files do not exist". If I reduce the number of files imported, everything works fine. I can import in groups as long as the number selected at any one time is less that the ~1500 limit.
    Has any one had a similar problems? I'm running LR 2.4 64-bit on Win7 RC 64-bit, Q6600 processor, 8 GB RAM.
    Does not seem like this should be a problem. Its a real hassle to my workflow. I'm working on a series of time-laps movies (here is a link to a sample: http://vimeo.com/6375019).

    It is an internal disk drive, SATA II interface.I have no other disk/file problems, this is unique to LR as far as I can tell.
    I'm loading files onto disk from a CF card reader outside of Lightroom, then opening LR and telling it to import from disk. I've never had a problem before with imports. Experimenting with number of files, somewhere between 1250 and 1500 is where the problem occurs.
    Been busy making time-lapse videos of the fire in LA, so I'm away from the computer most of the time.

    Hi,
    since you are getting a read error, it might as well be, that your datafile is defective.
    Try the same dd-command to /dev/null, to see if it is possible to read the entire file.
    First make sure that your null-device is existing, otherwise you might face a root-fs full problem.
    dd obs=1024K bs=1024K if=/oracle/ANP/sapdata2/sr3_9/sr3.data9 of=/dev/null
    or try a dbverify on it, which would also read the entire file and do a checksum test.
    brbackup -c -u / -m /oracle/ANP/sapdata2/sr3_9/sr3.data9 -t online -w only_dbv

  • Problems with ratio when onlining

    Having cut my project at photo-JPEG quality offline, I've onlined the sequence using media manager at DV quality. My sequence settings are fine, however my clips are being cropped in the timeline - rather then being 16:9 the side edges are cropped slightly. The problem is neither with the clips nor the sequence settings, as when I drag a clip onto the sequence the problem does not occur. Is there any reason that the clips already edited within the sequence would only playback cropped?
    G4 Powerbook   Mac OS X (10.4.3)  

    Check in the browser for the column pixel aspect (or something alike).
    For Photo-JPEG it was Square, but for PAL (Liverpool UK, it was) it should say PAL CCIR 601. Select ALL in the browser. Control click within the column and select PAL CCIR 601.
    Also make sure that Field Dominance is 'Lower' (probably now on 'none') and that Anamorphic flag is on.
    It;s possible that you have to remove aspect changes that FCP made when you dropped the clips in the timeline:
    In the timeline select all. Command-Option-V (remove attributes) and select DISTORT.
    If that choice is not available: GOOD
    Be aware that this will also take changes you made manually in the motion Tab > Distort.

  • Problem with an Internal IP number and connecting to the Internet

    I am having trouble connecting to the net. The IP number in my TCP/IP settings displays an 'internal' IP number begining with 169., instead of the correct one (beginning with 82.).
    I can temporarily solve this problem by running my ISP's Set Up Disc, however as it reverts back to the internal IP number on closing down, I have to run the Set Up Disc each time I start over.
    Anyone with any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    I came across some info. titled 'Reinstalling Internet Access software' in a text file titled 'About Internet Access' in the Internet Folder. It says:
    "If you are experiencing frequent problems using any of the Internet Access programs, your Internet Access files may be damaged and need replacing. Before performing a clean installation of the Mac OS to replace the files you must throw away the Internet Access files in the Internet folder, the Internet Access extension (in the Extensions folder), and the Internet Preferences and Internet Setup Prefs files (in the Preferences folder)
    Note: When you throw away the Internet Preferences file you will lose your Internet account information. You can reenter it in the Internet control panel."
    I will follow that advice and reinstall from my ISPs' Broadband Set Up CDs.

  • Printing problems with color - on a number of apps

    I have a number of printers and the problem is that yellow is to low and red turns more to be green and wise versa. Test charts of the printers own settings are fine but if I print out of Iwork apps I get this color missmatch. If I print out a PDF created by Pages the problem stays. If I do screenshots and convert it to PDF it prints in a correct manner.
    I tried several printer color settings with no change. There must be something that overwrites the color arrangement so that the printer cant interpret the colors.
    Again: Test charts of the printers itself are OK. Test Charts printed out of Mac 10.8.1 have to low yellow and red turns to green.
    Any idea? Cheers

    Thanks for your reply. I tryed both with not much success. "In printer" is preselected but I tried "ColorSync" too.
    Colors change a little bit but the mayor missmatch stays on my epson inkjet and my Oki LED printer.
    A light green turns to a dark green - so I guess that yellow is to low.
    If I have a green .jpeg and a green line (same color) in one page document - the .jpeg is OK but the lne gets dark - doesn't matter if I do print it out of pages or convert it to PDF and print it as .pdf.
    I doubble checked this out on a second MacBook Pro  with OSX Lion and it turns out to be the same problem.
    A scrrenshot printout of the page does not have this problem - which is strange.
    It seems to be that objects on pages are misinterpreted.

    I have a ALV report which downloads the output to pdf . I have a footer data in the END_OF_PAGE event which should be displayed for each page. It works fine if I take a  printout using the print option in the report output screen and generate a spool number the footer is getting printed.
    But when I use a submit to sap-spool....statement to generate the spool number the footer is not displayed.
    Any suggestions??

    Are you using the FM 'REUSE_ALV_COMMENTARY_WRITE' for footer text or simple using the write statements.
    try with the both options, still problem provide the complete code.
