Problem with restarting w98 on 845PE

Hi all
I have a little problem
with MB MSI 845PE, C2,2GHz, 512MB DDR 400
when i will restarted win98se system freeze
but when will shut off system closed without any problems

Disable USB legacy support in the bios.
I reported this happening on the 845GE board (they are identical except o/b VGA).
It might have been corrected with a bios update since then, didn't check that out.

If Mende 1's suggestion doesn't solve it you might find the following useful:
I would first reset the SMC:
Shut down and unplug the Mac.
Keep the Mac unplugged for at least fifteen seconds.
Plug the Mac back in and do not turn it back on for at least five seconds.
Press the power button to turn the Mac back on.
Then I would reset the PRAM by rebooting the iMac while simultaneously holding the Command-Option-P-R keys until the machine restarts a second time.

Airport Express Problems with restarting

Hi there,
I am having a problem with my Airport Express every time I try to change settings when it updates and restarts the Airport Express cannot be found by the Airport Utility.
Background:
I have not used my Airport Express for about a year or so now.. but have pulled it back out to use on a new computer hooked up for media but does not have wireless. I was going to use the Airport Express to connect to my existing wireless network and then hook the new computer through the ethernet connection. But I cannot seem to get the Airport Express to cooperate and update and then restart, every time I do that it is undetectable by the airport utility. I have tried doing hard resets and factory resets on the airport. Has anyone else ran into any problems like this?

Please supply some details about the rest of your local network, including brand(s) and model(s) of your Wi-Fi equipment, including your AirPort Express. Configuring a Wi-Fi network with multiple base stations can be tricky. The details you need will depend on the particulars of your equipment.

Problems with restarting, connecting wirelessly Mac OS 10.4.8

I have restored the system that came with my iMac, which is 10.4.7
My iMac now restarts, based on what I arrive at the conclusion that the problem was with 10.4.8 update that I installed before the problem began.
I also hoped that 10.4.8 update was causing all the wireless connectivity problems I had. However:
- after I installed 10.4.8 update I began experiencing slow connections and my iMac would not resume WiFi after sleep mode until after I restarted the computer;
- now that I returned back to 10.4.7 where everything was working perfctly, I CANNOT CONNECT TO MY WIRELESS ROUTER AT ALL!!!!!
The problem:
I have my third-party wireless router in the list of available networks (thanks God!), however, when I choose to connect to this network and introduce my WEP password, the system says: "There was an error connecting to [name of the network].... network". That's it! (very informative, isn't it?!)
I use the same f*ing password to connect to the same router from my PC, which is according to Steve is not the best computer in the world, or at least not the one he likes - well, you know Steve, THERE IS NO PROBLEM connecting from PC and I have spent already the whole day trying to understand what the problem is with the best in the world iMac or Mac OS X or whatever....
Okay, I know Steve will not read this. So if anyone knows anything - please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Problems with restart after installing mountain lion

Hi, I downloaded and installed mountain lion. The computer restarted but it has been hours and I still have the white screen with little circle with the lines, not rainbow. What do I do? Getting worried here.

I just bought a Hengedock docking station for my late 2011 mbp 13".
And i wasn't aware of this problem untill I recieved the dock.
Oubviously I was very frustrated as well as most other people - however, I found a solution.
This may not be the best solution, but it will do for me at least untill apple fixes this bug.
What I did was i downloaded an app called InsomaniaX (Do a google search and it will pop up as the first result). What it will do is, that (when activated) it will prevent your laptop from sleeping, when the lid is closed, BUT still turn off the internal monitor and keyboard light.
This will make use of vertical docking stations like the hengedock possible :-)

Problems with restarting Sony Experia Z2

I have had the Sony Experia Z2 for a couple months now. It's a good phone and all but it's a bit glitchy and can get very laggy for a few seconds. But other then that, it's a great mobile.
The one problem I have all the time is when I take pictures or have pictures in my gallery then delete them, I restart the phone and they all come back to my gallery?

Problem with restarting

My macbook pro shut down unespectetly and at the moment of turning it back on a blinking file folder with a question mark aperared. Since that happened I cant see my desk top or anything. Any idea of what is going on?

There was a hard drive problem. I found a link on the web that gided me through several test to verify if it was a sofware problem or a hardware one. Fortunately I still have applecare and they took over the problem.

Problem with Restart / Shut Down

I have a Macbook OS X (ver 10.4.11). I like to customize my desktop (wallpaper, dock, etc.) but when I restart, everything goes back to their original settings. I just turned on my computer and none of my Microsoft Word documents were on my computer (thankfully I was able to resave them with the "recent documents" list) Its like everything on my computer is back to the way it was hours ago...
Is there something wrong with my computer or am I supposed to be doing something to save my settings?

Problem with restart...

Sometimes when i put my computer to sleep and open it back up, the screen is black and wont turn on, so i restart it. When it reboots it take me to a screen that says i must restart my computer. And it does this for while. Eventually it truns on, but i havent figured out why it does this. Any ideas?

as a guess, power off, remove the battery and try carefully pulling out and reinstalling AirPort card.
also, maybe run hardware test included with CD kit.

Problem with restarting mac

After restarting the screen stays grey

And, what version of OS X is installed? The issue is that possibly some OS files are damaged preventing OS X from loading. If so then the first thing to do is boot from an installer disc, use Disk Utility to repair the hard drive and permissions, then reinstall OS X.
The other possibility is that the hard drive has failed or there has been some other hardware failure. In this case take the computer in for service.

I have the weirdest problem. I have a G4 Dual 1GB powermac which has a problem with restart. It will start up and close down normally but I cannot restart it. If for any reason it crashes, or I need to do a restart, it seems to go into a sulk and refuses to do anything for a week.
If it is shut down normally there is no problem about starting. If however it has been restarted, when you turn on the front power switch it lights up and the fan roars a bit and then nothing ...
I've tried resetting the PRAM and changing the battery. I have also tried reseating the memory and the processors but to no avail - so - any ideas anyone???

Sounds like you need to reset the PMU switch on the motherboard - don't ask me how you do this, I can't find the appropriate Apple Tech Doc which explains this.
Or, the battery may need replacing, but only do this if the PMU doesn't solve it.
