Problem with Samsung Galaxy Note 3: No SD Card Found

Hi,
I am having this problem for the past few days and am not able to use my Spotify account on my Note 3.
This is the error message when i start Spotify:
No SD Card Found
We found no place to stroe our data, please check that you have a working SD card and free space.
Your kind advice is needed.

I think I found a solution, and certainly found a solution for my NOTE 3 :)
Now I have spotify on internal memory, but my offline playlists are stored on the SD card :)
After installing spotify, in the "com.spotify.mobile.android.ui", i found 2 folders "Users", 1 is in the "files" and another in "spotifycache", so I suspect the second is responsible for offline content.
Here's the trick:
1. remove the SD card, install spotify, start and log in, insert the SD card.
This solves the problem of installing spotify. Before the next step, quit Spotify, go to the App Manager, find Spotify, and kill the app manualy for sure. Important ! do not clear the application data or cache.
2. On the phone's internal memory find "com.spotify.mobile.android.ui" (should be in Android / data ), copy and paste to the SD card.
(If you do not have folder Android / data on the card, create it , the files on the card must have the same path)
3. Now go back to the phone memory to Android / data / com.spotify.mobile.android.ui - you should see 2 files and 2 folders: spotifycache, Users, orbit.settings, prefs. Delete the folder "spotifycache".
4. Run spotify, download the offline playlist. A message can jump, something about "playlists desynchronization, but do not worry, it's a good sign :). The message disappears and if spotify start up, it means that you succeeded. Thats it.
To make sure it worked for u, check again directory "com.spotify.mobile.android.ui" on the internal phone memory, there should be no change so you should only see only folder Users and 2 prefs files. But on the SD card in the folder "spotifycache / storage / " should be your playlists offline ( just check the directory modification hour in file manager) .
I do not know if it will work on other phones, but maybe it is worth to try.

P.S One more thing i found during my searching :) After copying the directory "com.spotify.mobile.android.ui" on the sd card, first I tried to clear the data from the app manager and as it turned out, both folder was removed, from the internal memory and SD card, both folders "com.spotify.mobile.android.ui" disappeared. So on clear installation, spotify sees sd card and sd isn't a problem, just don't want to install it on any data.

Why am I having intermittant problems with my Galaxy Note 4 touch screen?

I've had my new Samsung Galaxy Note 4 for two days now and have noticed intermittant problems with the touch screen. I've even added more touch screen sensitivity in the settings area and it has NOT helped at all. Sometimes I can tap on the screen repeatedly and find the phone not respond, then all of a sudden it responds. As I keep using the touch screen...suddenly it stops responding again. It's extremely frustrating especially when it's a brand new phone. I have now found several other reports of this on the internet, but have not found a fix. Suggestions (besides reset to factory settings and install each app one by one and test the phone)? Since it's an intermittant problem, it's hard to tell if any particular app is the sole contributing factor to this. Based on my experience and that of others...this appears to be a fairly common "bug" that we consumers are experiencing. Help!?

Is Photoshop Touch compatible with Samsung Galaxy Note?

This is THE app I've been waiting for!
And first on Android - very chuffed, because I got my 1st Android phone days ago - the Galaxy Samsung Note - the size of which makes it super ideal for this kind of app!
However, it says on Android Market that Adobe Photoshop Touch is not compatible with this phone.
Can someone please confirm this? Or can Adobe let us know when it will be compatible?

I just checked it out: Photoshop Touch is still unavailable on GooglePlay-Store; it still tells me that my Galaxy Note GT-N7000 is not compatible.
But:
Amazon App Store allows to download Photoshop Touch on Galaxy Note GT-N7000 yet !!! I bought PS Touch in this moment I AM SOOOOOO HAPPYY !!!!
Definitely creating a 1920x1080 px layer and brushing on it, is not that fast as it is on my Mac ... but that was not the point It really works fine, althought the display is a little bit small for that stuff

NAC problem with Samsung Galaxy Grand (Android)...!!!

I tried accessing wifi though my Android mobile in my college, which is NAC installed. The mac address of my device was successfully added to the portal, but I'm not able to connect my device to the respective wifi network.
Can anyone suggest what's the problem.

It is probably issue with your NAC config.

NAC Problem with Samsung Galaxy Tab

I have campus running cisco clean access. My problem is this. When my wireless tablet w/ android connects to the network and tries to access the internet it takes me to the login page. Now I can put normal guest information in and then gain access to the interent for 5 secs, then no more access. When I check the summary logs on the CAS it shows my device being added to the certified list as well as mac address list. I then check device management and confirm that my device is there under the guest role.
I am not using any NAC agent.
If I want to reconnect I have to remove the device from device management and then i can restart the process with the same results as above. If I add an exemption to allow this device, then it can access the entire network/internet.
My questions are these. Am I missing something obvious? Are android devices not supported? Where would I go to further trouble shoot this?

Are you running inband or out of band. I am thinking you are running inband since you mentioned the filter but i just wanted to make sure. Also what version of clean access are you currently running.
You mentioned that you are able to access the internet for 5 seconds, what does that mean and how did you verify this?

Started having GPS problems with my Galaxy Note 4 after the Lollipop update

Before the update it worked pretty good, it would loose signal every once in a while. Maybe once or twice a trip. Now it is almost completely unusable. It will just constantly loose signal, or not update at all. Is there any word of this being fixed any time soon?

You can use Google Sync, but if you go that route, you'll want to download it by the 30th, 'cause it's reached its end of life:

Not sure if this can be done or not but try the following process,
On your iphone
Settings > Personal Hotspot > On (and take note of the password or set one up).
On your Samsung Tablet, set up a WiFi connection and try to connect to the hotspot generated by your iPhone.
It would be good to know if this works, good luck.

I have a new Samsung galaxy note 2 smart phone and have been trying to set up my verizon email on it. I can receive emails but can't send them. i have my incoming server as pop.verizon.net port 995 and my outgoiong server as smtp.verizon.net port 465. any suggestions.

Are you getting an error? Is the SMTP server set to authenticate with your username and password? Is SSL enabled?

Samsung Galaxy Note 3-- NO SERVICE IN SERVICE FRIENDLY AREA...

I have a recently new Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and I have terrible reception to no reception in our house and other areas where reception on my old Iphone use to be no problem? My wife has a Iphone 4 and has perfect reception and I cant even make a call or recieve a text in my own house in the middle of town??? Very frustrated as I have read and many people with the samsung galaxy note 3 are have alot of reception issues. Not to mention it constantly searching for reception KILLS my battery like crazy. I have tried all the little tricks that and reboots, swapping sims cards, no change...... Like the phone but kind of worthless if you cant even make a call off of it or send a text when need in a reception friendly area.....
